DreamFace
DreamFace turns a single photo, script or audio clip into talking-avatar videos, AI images and cloned voices. Published by New Port LLC, it runs on the web, iOS, Android and desktop from one shared account.
What is DreamFace?
DreamFace is a consumer generative media app published by New Port LLC, an Illinois limited liability company doing business as New Port AI. Its catalog is organized around three families. Avatar Video gathers Video Lip Sync, Photo Lip Sync, Pet Lip Sync, Dream Act, Dream Avatar 3.0 and Baby Podcast: the user uploads a photo or a short clip, adds a script or an audio file, and the system animates the face and synchronizes the lips. The site states the promise plainly: Just input your text or audio, and let AI generate high-quality videos with realistic avatars and voices. No actors and equipment required. AI Video groups text-to-video and image-to-video generation with Video Enhance, Watermark Remover and viral effect models such as AI Kiss, AI Hug, Revive AI and Body Shake. AI Photo covers text-to-image, AI Filter, Background Remover, Photo Enhancer, Old Photo Restoration, ID Photo, AI Wedding and an AI Image Detector. A fourth set sits alongside: Voice Studio, with voice cloning, singing voice conversion, AI voice translation, cover creation and vocal separation, plus Face Swap, Video Translator, AI Sound and Text to Speech.
Third-party models are named rather than hidden. Seedream 4.5 and Nano Banana 2 are selectable, and the subprocessor table lists Google, Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Volcengine, Vidu, Pixverse, ElevenLabs and Alibaba Model Studio (DeepSeek). An avatar video is announced as generated in under a minute, and the site's FAQ says commercial use is allowed.
The product ships on the web, on the App Store, on Google Play, as a direct APK and as desktop software, with one account across all of them and an interface in 31 languages. Businesses take a separate route through DreamAPI at api.newportai.com, entered by contacting sales. The publisher positions DreamFace explicitly as an alternative to HeyGen and maintains a public gallery of renders.
Its own claims deserve a caveat: the same page advertises 50+ and then 30+ digital avatars, and the 20,000,000+ users claimed on the site sit against the 10M+ downloads Google Play displays. The Play listing is rated PEGI 12 with "Sexual Innuendo, Mild Swearing" descriptors and appears under a different publisher name, "AI Art Magic Avatar Studio".

How to use DreamFace
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Open DreamFace in a browser, or install the iOS, Android or desktop app: one account works across all of them
- Pick a tool, depending on whether you want an avatar video, an AI video, an AI photo or a voice job
- Upload a sharp photo or a short video of the person to animate; the system analyzes the facial features
- Type the script you want spoken, or upload an audio file to drive the performance
- Optionally prepare the narration first with Voice Studio or Text to Speech, for instance by cloning a voice
- Give the explicit in-app consent required before a reference image or voice is sent to a third-party model
- Generate: an avatar video is announced in under a minute
- Preview the result and download it in HD
- For volume or product integration, contact sales for DreamAPI access at api.newportai.com
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Unusually broad coverage of video, image and voice inside a single subscription rather than three
- Real multi-platform presence: web, iOS, Android, direct APK and desktop, all sharing one account, with a 31-language interface
- Verifiable adoption: 10M+ downloads and 4.8/5 across 378K reviews on Google Play
- Privacy documentation well above the segment average: a named subprocessor table, a biometric destruction schedule and BIPA/CUBI compliance
- AI transparency put into practice: latent disclosures embedded in the outputs and a publicly available detection tool
- Training exclusions written into the policy for content designated private and for API and enterprise customers
- A permanent free plan, a free trial, and a 7-day refund window on web purchases
Cons
- No public pricing: the pricing page only renders once JavaScript executes, and no amount appears in the static HTML
- No postal address on any legal page, and no web contact page either, the footer's Contact Us link pointing at a feedback:// application scheme
- No hosting country and no hosting region disclosed, although Chinese and American subprocessors are named
- Figures that contradict each other: 50+ then 30+ avatars on the same page, and 20,000,000+ claimed users against the 10M+ downloads shown by Google Play
- Company name spelled two ways across footers, "NewPort LLC" in 2026 and "New Port LLC" in 2025, while the Google Play publisher appears as "AI Art Magic Avatar Studio"
- Automatic subscription renewal and payments non-refundable in principle outside the 7-day window
- No Article 27 EU representative, plus mandatory arbitration and a class action waiver
Pricing & Plans
DreamFace is offered on a freemium basis. A permanent free tier exists, the terms referring to "free tiers" and forbidding the creation of several accounts to take advantage of them, and a free trial is available, cancellable from the subscription settings of the account. Paid access takes the form of monthly and annual subscriptions with automatic renewal, alongside one-off credit packs. No amount is published: the pricing page renders only through JavaScript, and the sole price present in static HTML is 0 USD on the free tools, so no entry price, currency or billing unit can be reported here. Web payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal and appear on bank statements as "New Port LLC" or "NewPortLLC", while purchases made inside the iOS and Android apps are processed by the stores and governed separately by section 8 of the subscription policy. A refund may be requested within 7 days of a web purchase, with no guarantee of acceptance, and credits already consumed are not refunded. The terms add that all prices are subject to change without notification.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how DreamFace handles your data.
GDPR overview
The privacy policy carries a dedicated "European Union / European Economic Area (GDPR)" section in which New Port LLC names itself the data controller. It lists the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a supervisory authority, exercised at legal@newportai.com. Transfers outside the EEA are said to rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or explicit consent. The policy was updated on 8 June 2026 and the terms took effect on 20 April 2026; CCPA/CPRA, Brazil's LGPD, Singapore's PDPA, Turkish law 6698, Mexico and Illinois BIPA/CUBI are covered too. Two gaps remain: no Article 27 EU representative is designated, and no hosting country or region is named while Chinese and American subprocessors are.
Who owns the data?
New Port LLC names itself the data controller for the personal data processed through DreamFace under the GDPR. That role reverses for business use: when a Business Customer works through the API or an enterprise plan, the customer is the controller and New Port LLC acts as its processor, under a separate Data Processing Addendum that prevails over the privacy policy wherever the two conflict. Content created by a user stays stored in that user's account and can be deleted on request. The policy adds that biometric information is never sold and never shared for personalized advertising.
Reuse rights
Content generated with DreamFace may be used commercially, according to the site's own FAQ. On the publisher's side, personal data serves service delivery, billing, service and algorithm improvement, research and development, communications, content moderation, security and fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Content a user designates as private through the in-app controls is excluded from generative model training, as is the content of enterprise and API customers beyond what delivering the service requires. Biometric information is never used to train a model, never used for personalized advertising and never sold. Explicit in-app consent is required before a reference image or voice is sent to a third-party model. The publisher states it does not sell personal data nor share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent, honors the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out where the law requires it, and publishes a public summary of its training datasets under California's AB 2013.

Hosting summary
The privacy policy names the infrastructure but not the jurisdiction. Hosting relies on Alibaba Cloud, Amazon Web Services and data centers operated by the publisher itself, yet no hosting country and no region is ever stated. International transfers are acknowledged and presented as covered by standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or explicit consent. Regional deployments are mentioned only as a possibility for enterprise customers with localization requirements, under a separate written agreement. On the security side, the policy claims encryption at rest and in transit and logically segregated biometric storage with restricted access controls, while support, engineering and moderation teams are described as distributed worldwide and reaching data remotely under access control. One contextual fact the site does not state: the domain's IP address resolves in Frankfurt, Germany, on AS45102 Alibaba (US) Technology, which is a DNS observation rather than a declaration by the publisher. For anyone under a data-residency obligation, the absence of a named hosting country, combined with Chinese and American subprocessors, is the point to raise before committing.

Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting DreamFace.
- Facial biometrics sit at the heart of the product: a face uploaded once becomes a template held by a company whose hosting jurisdiction is never disclosed, with everything that category of data implies
- Digital replicas: the terms place the burden of obtaining consent on the user, so animating someone else's face is legally the user's problem, and face swapping makes the slide from a playful edit to a deepfake effortless
- No hosting country or region is announced while Chinese and American subprocessors are named (Alibaba Cloud, Volcengine, DeepSeek, Vidu, Pixverse), and no Article 27 EU representative exists
- Reaching a human is hard: no postal address, no web contact page since the footer's Contact Us link points at an inert feedback:// scheme, and every email address sits on newportai.com, a domain distinct from dreamfaceapp.com
- Commercial terms lean toward the publisher: automatic renewal, payments non-refundable outside a 7-day window, mandatory arbitration and a class action waiver with only a 30-day opt-out window to legal@newportai.com
- Published figures disagree with one another: 50+ versus 30+ avatars on the same page, 20,000,000+ claimed users versus 10M+ Google Play downloads, and a Play publisher name, "AI Art Magic Avatar Studio", that is not the company's own
- The app is rated PEGI 12 with "Sexual Innuendo, Mild Swearing" descriptors, and generating in one click is habit-forming enough that the craft of writing, filming and editing can quietly erode if the tool replaces practice rather than supporting it
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Easy for the audience it targets. Nothing has to be installed for the web version, and the iOS and Android apps download from their stores, a single account carrying across web, mobile and desktop. The site states that no editing experience is required, and the path is three steps: upload, enter the text or the audio, generate. The API route is another matter: DreamAPI assumes development work and starts with a sales contact rather than a self-service key, so it calls for an engineer rather than a creator.

Should you pick DreamFace?
DreamFace is one of the broadest consumer AI media apps around: talking avatars, video generation, photo restoration, voice cloning, dubbing and viral effects all sit under one account that works on the web, on iOS, on Android and on desktop. Its adoption is not a marketing claim but a measurable fact, with 10M+ downloads and 4.8/5 from 378K reviews on Google Play, and its interface reaches 31 languages, which counts for anyone producing content outside English.
What sets the product apart at this end of the market is its paperwork. Few consumer apps publish a named subprocessor table, a biometric destruction schedule capped at three years, an explicit training exclusion for content marked private, and a public tool for detecting their own generated media. That level of disclosure is unusual and deserves credit.
The counterweight is opacity exactly where it costs most. No price is published anywhere in static HTML, since the pricing page renders only through JavaScript, so nothing can be compared before signing up. No postal address appears on any legal page, no hosting country or region is named although Chinese and American subprocessors are, and no Article 27 EU representative is designated. The site also contradicts itself, advertising 50+ then 30+ avatars on the same page, 20,000,000+ users against 10M+ Google Play downloads, and two spellings of its own company name.
For creators, marketers and teachers who want to produce quickly without a shoot, DreamFace is a reasonable place to start, helped by the free plan and the seven-day refund window on web purchases. For a professional buyer with procurement, data residency or due-diligence requirements, the missing price, the missing address and the missing hosting jurisdiction are three questions to settle first.
