Guidaio basics

What is Guidaio?

Guidaio is an AI tools directory and comparison platform designed to help users discover, understand and compare AI tools with more clarity. It organizes tools by use case, category, audience, privacy signals, vendor information and practical criteria.

Who is Guidaio for?

Guidaio is built for individuals, students, freelancers, professionals, entrepreneurs, companies, institutions, public-sector users and AI publishers who want a clearer way to navigate the AI tools market.

How is Guidaio different from a simple AI tools list?

A simple list usually shows tools by category or popularity. Guidaio is designed to add more structure: use cases, target users, pricing signals, privacy filters, GDPR-related indicators, vendor countries, hosting regions, evaluation context and field feedback.

Is Guidaio only for technical users?

No. Guidaio is designed to make AI discovery accessible to non-specialists, while still providing useful criteria for advanced users, companies and professional teams.

Does Guidaio choose the tool for me?

No. Guidaio helps you understand the landscape and compare options. Final decisions should still be based on your own testing, documentation review, budget, internal rules and risk assessment.

02

AI Finder

What is AI Finder?

AI Finder is Guidaio’s guided discovery experience. It helps users describe their need, profile and constraints so they can receive more relevant AI tool recommendations.

How is AI Finder different from a search bar?

A classic search bar depends mainly on keywords. AI Finder is designed to understand your intent, profile, domain, security expectations, privacy constraints and practical use case before suggesting tools.

What are the Personal, Business and Government paths?

The Personal path is for individuals, students, creators and freelancers. The Business path is for companies, startups, SMEs and enterprises. The Government path is for public administration, local government, defense, public healthcare and public education contexts.

What information should I give AI Finder?

Explain what you want to achieve, your profile, your domain, your desired features, your budget, your data sensitivity and any privacy or hosting requirements such as GDPR, EU hosting or no training on your data.

Are AI Finder recommendations guaranteed?

No. AI Finder provides discovery and comparison support. You should still review the provider’s official documentation, pricing, privacy terms, security information and suitability for your own use case.

04

Privacy, GDPR and compliance signals

What are Privacy Filters?

Privacy Filters are search and comparison criteria that help users identify AI tools according to data usage, privacy documentation, AI training policies, DPA availability, subprocessors, transfers, security and transparency information.

What are GDPR Signals?

GDPR Signals are informational indicators that help users understand how clearly an AI provider communicates privacy, data usage, user rights, transfers, retention, security and compliance-related information.

Are GDPR Signals a legal certification?

No. GDPR Signals are not a legal certification and do not prove that a tool is compliant. They help users identify whether relevant privacy and data information appears visible, clear, partial, missing or under review.

Can Guidaio tell me if an AI tool is safe for sensitive data?

Guidaio can help identify privacy, hosting and transparency signals, but it cannot certify whether a tool is safe for your specific sensitive data. Companies and institutions should perform their own legal, security and procurement review.

What does “no training on my data” mean?

It usually means the provider claims that user inputs, files, outputs or customer data are not used to train or improve AI models. Users should always check the provider’s official policy, plan conditions and contractual terms.

05

Hosting, vendors and country signals

What does EU-hosted AI tool mean?

It usually means the tool claims to use infrastructure, storage, servers or data residency options located in the EU or EEA. The exact meaning depends on the provider’s documentation, plan and contract.

Does EU-hosted mean GDPR-compliant?

No. EU hosting is only one signal. GDPR-related review also depends on data roles, legal basis, contracts, data types, transfers, subprocessors, retention, deletion, security and the user’s own context.

What are EU-Based Vendors?

EU-Based Vendors are AI providers that appear to have a legal entity, headquarters, operating base, contracting entity or documented business presence in the EU or EEA. This is a vendor signal, not a hosting or compliance guarantee.

What are Vendor Countries?

Vendor Countries describe the country context behind an AI tool provider: company country, headquarters, legal entity, contracting country, billing country, sales markets, support region and country-specific availability.

What are Data Hosting Regions?

Data Hosting Regions are the regions where an AI tool may store, host, retain, back up, replicate or make available user data, customer data, files, prompts, outputs, logs or account information.

Can a foreign vendor offer local hosting?

Yes. A vendor can be based in one country and offer hosting in another. For example, a global vendor may offer European data residency while still using global support, model providers, subprocessors or contract structures.

06

AI tool evaluation

How does Guidaio evaluate AI tools?

Guidaio combines automated discovery, human validation, publisher outreach, structured data review, documentation analysis, tool testing where possible and field feedback before publishing tool information.

Does Guidaio use robots to detect AI tools?

Yes. Guidaio uses automated discovery systems to detect AI tools, public signals, submissions and market activity. However, automated discovery is not the same as validation. Human review is still required.

Who validates AI tools?

Guidaio’s internal team, working between Switzerland and Luxembourg, reviews tools according to relevance, usability, transparency, data quality, documentation and practical user value.

Does Guidaio contact AI publishers?

Yes, when possible. Guidaio may contact AI publishers to request information about company structure, product scope, privacy documentation, data practices, hosting, security and transparency commitments.

Does Guidaio test every AI tool?

Guidaio tests tools where access, pricing and technical conditions allow it. The depth of review may vary depending on available documentation, publisher response, tool access and product complexity.

07

AI publishers and corrections

Can AI publishers submit a tool to Guidaio?

Yes. AI publishers can submit their tool so Guidaio can review the information, structure the profile and make the tool easier for users to discover and compare.

How can a publisher request a correction?

AI tool owners or official representatives can request a correction by email at affiliate@guidaio.com. The request should include the tool name, profile URL, requested correction and supporting documentation.

What kind of information can publishers update?

Publishers can send updates about product descriptions, features, pricing, company structure, privacy policies, DPA availability, subprocessors, hosting regions, security documentation, AI training policy and transparency information.

Does a correction request guarantee ranking improvement?

No. Corrections improve accuracy and transparency. They do not guarantee ranking changes, promotional placement, endorsement or preferential visibility.

Can publishers improve how their tools appear in AI Finder?

Yes. Better product data, clear use cases, accurate pricing, privacy documentation, hosting information and transparency signals can help Guidaio structure a tool profile more accurately.

08

Expert help and missing features

Can I talk with a Guidaio expert?

Yes. You can email contact@guidaio.com if you cannot find an AI tool or feature, need help clarifying a use case, or want guidance on where to search next.

What should I include when contacting an expert?

Include what you want to achieve, your profile, your domain or industry, tools you already tried, what is missing, your privacy or hosting constraints, your budget and any timing requirements.

Can Guidaio help if the tool I need does not exist?

Guidaio can help you frame the missing need, search for close alternatives, identify possible categories and understand whether the request looks like a workflow problem, a configuration problem or a market gap.

Can Guidaio build a custom AI tool for me?

Guidaio’s primary role is AI tool discovery, comparison and guidance. If your need requires custom development, the team may help you clarify the requirement and identify the kind of solution or partner you should look for.

Is expert help the same as legal or compliance advice?

No. Guidaio experts can help you understand tool signals and ask better questions, but they do not provide legal, compliance, security or procurement certification.

Still have a question?

Use AI Finder, browse the directory, or contact Guidaio if you need help finding an AI tool, feature or workflow that matches your real need.
