Capafy
Capafy is a marketplace of Skill-based AI agents built by domain experts. Browse, buy and run them in the browser or inside Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw and Hermes, hourly, by subscription or as a one-off download.
What is Capafy?
Capafy is a marketplace for what it calls Skill-based Agents. A Skill, in the sense the site uses, is a standard folder holding a SKILL.md file plus optional scripts, references and assets — the packaging format the site describes as adopted by Anthropic, OpenAI and Microsoft. A publisher packages their expertise that way, writes an Agent Card describing it, passes a review, and the Skill goes on sale as a finished agent. Buyers browse across some twenty-three categories, from research, video and finance to legal, travel and gaming, then buy what they need.
Every agent runs under exactly one of two execution modes. In Run on Capafy, the agent executes in Capafy's cloud runtime, the buyer interacts with it only through the web chatbot, and the source stays invisible; the underlying model is fixed by the publisher. In Download, the complete Skill package is delivered as files, runs inside the buyer's own Agent Client — Claude Code, OpenClaw, Codex or Hermes — and the buyer chooses the model, but Capafy has no further visibility over what happens.
Three pricing modes coexist: hourly blocks, auto-renewing daily, weekly or monthly subscriptions, and one-time purchases that may be paid or free. Payment goes through a card processed by Stripe or through a prepaid Credits balance; anything under five dollars must be paid in Credits, which never expire but are non-refundable and non-transferable. Sign-in uses email plus a one-time code, and revocable am_sk_ access tokens cover programmatic calls.
There is a second audience: the publishers. They install a Publisher Skill, upload, describe, price and submit, and keep 80% of each transaction after a 20% platform fee, with a single US$0.99 certification charge on first publication. Reviews are rated one to five stars, one per buyer per agent, and publishers may reply publicly. Capafy reviews every Skill before listing and runs static and behavioural analysis of the files, but it states plainly that the agents themselves are created and maintained by independent third parties, not by Capafy.

When to use Capafy / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Capafy is the right fit.
When to use Capafy
- People who need an expert-grade result on a narrow task and would rather buy a ready-made agent than write and refine their own prompt.
- Users already working inside an Agent Client such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw or Hermes, who want to search, buy and launch an agent in plain language.
- Domain experts with a repeatable methodology who want to sell it without exposing their prompts, scripts or internal logic.
- Occasional users with a one-off need, who can buy a block of hours instead of committing to a subscription.
- Small teams and solo operators in marketing, video, finance, commerce or recruitment who want vertical tooling without an in-house AI budget.
When not to use Capafy
- Anyone located in, resident in or connecting from a country outside Schedule C of the Terms of Service, including mainland China: registration, purchase and use are all refused.
- People under 18, or under the local age of majority where it is higher, who are not permitted to open an account.
- Buyers who need to audit an agent's source code before running it, since Run on Capafy agents deliberately keep their prompts and scripts hidden.
- Organisations that need a single accountable vendor: Capafy presents itself as a marketplace, and each agent is built and maintained by an independent third party.
- Anyone handling sensitive data through a downloaded agent, which runs entirely outside Capafy's visibility once the files are on the buyer's machine.
How to use Capafy
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Open capafy.ai and describe the task you need done, or browse the category tabs
- Filter the catalogue by run mode, pricing or sort order and open an Agent Card
- Check the price, the execution mode and the publisher's rating and sales history
- Create an account with your email address and the one-time code sent to you
- Top up your Credits balance if the agent costs less than five dollars
- Buy hours, subscribe, or pay once to download the Skill package
- Chat with the agent in the browser, or run the downloaded files in your own Agent Client
- Optionally install the Capafy User Skill by unzipping it into your client's skills folder, taking care not to nest the capafy-user directory inside itself
- Set a monthly and a per-order spending limit before letting your Agent Client buy on your behalf
- To sell instead of buy, install the Publisher Skill, upload your Skill, fill in the Agent Card and submit it for review
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Nothing to install for the web route: an account, a card or a Credits balance and you are running an agent
- Works inside the Agent Clients people already use, rather than asking them to switch tools
- Hourly purchase avoids committing to a subscription for a one-off need
- A substantial free layer: thirty-one free trials and ten free agents were listed on the homepage on 30 August 2026
- Unusually complete public legal documentation: terms, privacy policy, DPA, publisher agreement and review rules
- Spending caps and a seven-day refund window on all three purchase modes
- Publishers keep 80%, without exclusivity, and can unpublish at any time
Cons
- A very young platform: the domain was registered in April 2026, there is no Wayback history, and many agents carry few or no reviews
- Quality is heterogeneous by design, since each agent is third-party work that Capafy distributes rather than guarantees
- No platform price list at all: what you pay depends entirely on the agent you pick
- Hourly orders cannot be ended early and are not partially refundable, and the clock starts at payment rather than at first use
- Credits are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-withdrawable, and any purchase under US$5 forces you through them
- Availability is restricted to a closed list of countries, with no exception process described
- No security certification is claimed as held: ISO 27001 appears only as something maintained or worked towards, with details on written request
Pricing & Plans
Creating an account and browsing the catalogue are free, and a permanent free layer exists: publishers may list a downloadable agent at no charge, and free trials were widely offered on the homepage on 30 August 2026. Capafy publishes no price list of its own, since every agent is priced by its publisher. On that date, listed prices ran from US$0.60 per day to US$16.67 per month, with hourly agents from US$3.00 per hour and one-off purchases from US$3.50. Any transaction below US$5.00 must be settled from the prepaid Credits balance. On the selling side, publishers keep 80% of each transaction, Capafy retains a 20% platform fee, and a one-off certification fee of US$0.99 applies on first publication.
- Hourly — you buy a block of usage time on a cloud-run agent. The clock starts at payment
- the order does not auto-renew
- and each publisher sets the rate and any minimum
- the help centre's worked example is US$3 per hour with a two-hour minimum.
- Subscription — auto-renewing daily
- weekly or monthly access
- with the agent running continuously in the cloud. Per-period price minimums are set in the Publisher Console
- and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle.
- One-Time Purchase (Download) — a single payment
- or free
- for the complete Skill package to run in your own Agent Client. There is no price minimum and free downloads are permitted.
- Publisher terms — a 20% platform fee on the transaction base
- a one-off US$0.99 certification fee on first publication
- and a Platform Sandbox Fee on subscription sales only
- never on hourly or download sales. Settlement is calculated in US dollars.
Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Capafy handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR is addressed explicitly and in detail. The Privacy Policy of 8 August 2026 maps a legal basis to each processing activity — contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests or consent — and lists the usual rights: access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a supervisory authority. Capafy aims to answer within 30 calendar days, extendable to 90 for complex requests. Transfers out of the EEA rely on the European Commission's 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK IDTA for British users and PDPA rules for Singapore. A Data Processing Agreement is published as Schedule D and states that it addresses Article 28(3). No Article 27 EU representative is named anywhere on the site. Privacy and DPO enquiries go to a single support address.
Who owns the data?
The platform is operated by CAPAFY PTE. LTD. of Singapore, and its role changes with the activity. For account, payment, security and logging data it acts as an independent controller under its own Privacy Policy. For agent files and real-time execution data it acts as a processor or sub-processor for the publisher, under Schedule D, the published Data Processing Agreement. The terms distinguish User Content, the inputs you submit, from Agent Output, the results generated in response. Publishers remain responsible for whatever their own Skill does with personal data, and must disclose those practices on the agent's listing page. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes.
Reuse rights
The stated purposes are service delivery, account management, payment and publisher settlement, fraud and abuse prevention, aggregated or anonymised analytics, legal compliance including tax and KYC/AML obligations, and transactional communications. Capafy states that it does not sell personal data and does not use AI interaction content to train models it operates; where a Skill routes content to an external LLM provider chosen by its publisher, that provider's own rules apply and are disclosed on the agent listing. On the buyer's side, a downloaded Skill package is licensed for the purchaser's own use and is explicitly not redistributable, so reusing or reselling it is not permitted. Marketing messages are opt-in, and no advertising cookies or tracking pixels are used.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Capafy is headquartered in Singapore, and the Privacy Policy states that personal data may be stored and processed there as well as in the countries where its service providers operate. The Data Processing Agreement is more precise about the runtime itself: for agent files, real-time execution data and hosted API credentials, a single cloud infrastructure sub-processor is declared, operating in the EU (Frankfurt) and the United States (San Francisco). That sub-processor is disclosed by category rather than by name. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, API credentials sit in a dedicated isolated secrets store with no plaintext access for anyone including Capafy's engineers, and each user session and each publisher's files are strictly segregated. Appointing a new sub-processor requires 30 days' written notice, with a 14-day window for a reasoned objection. Cross-border transfers use the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses for the EU, the UK IDTA where applicable, and PDPA rules for transfers out of Singapore.

Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Capafy.
- The hourly clock starts the moment you pay, not when you first write to the agent, and unused hours are simply lost.
- Credits are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-withdrawable, so topping up more than you intend to spend locks the money into the platform.
- Subscriptions renew automatically and cancellation only takes effect at the end of the current cycle.
- A downloaded Skill runs entirely on your machine, outside Capafy's visibility; run it in an isolated environment if the task touches sensitive data.
- An agent may route your inputs to an external LLM provider chosen by its publisher, under that provider's own training and retention rules — read the data-flow disclosure on the Agent Card.
- Anyone holding one of your am_sk_ access tokens can act on your account and spend your Credits, so treat them as passwords and revoke any you no longer use.
- Buying expertise ready-made is convenient, but it also puts a black box between you and the reasoning: in Run on Capafy mode you see the output and never the method, which makes it harder to notice when an agent is confidently wrong.
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low by the web route: sign in with an email and a one-time code, and the agent runs in the browser. Moderate through an Agent Client, where you unzip the Capafy User Skill into your skills folder — the documentation warns specifically against creating the target directory first, which produces a nested folder and stops the skill loading. Higher again for API use, which needs an am_sk_ token and a two-call login. Publishing is the most demanding path: a Publisher Skill install, a review, and KYC plus bank details before any payout.

Should you pick Capafy?
Capafy answers a real and recent problem: the SKILL.md format made expert know-how packageable, but there was nowhere obvious to buy or sell it. The platform fills that gap on both sides, and it does so with more care than its age suggests. The legal apparatus is unusually complete for a company whose domain was only registered in April 2026 — terms, privacy policy, a published data processing agreement, a publisher agreement and review guidelines, all dated and versioned. The security description is specific rather than decorative, covering isolated sessions, a credential proxy, dual approval for internal access to raw user data, and filtering layers that sit outside the agent runtime.
The reservations are structural rather than accidental. Capafy distributes third-party work and says so: it reviews each Skill, but does not vouch for the result. Catalogue quality will therefore vary, and with sales counts on many listings still in single or double digits, buyers have thin evidence to go on. The commercial rules deserve attention before the first purchase — the hourly clock starts at payment, hourly orders cannot be cut short, and Credits, once bought, can only be spent on the platform. Availability stops at a closed list of 174 countries. And no security certification is claimed as actually held.
For an occasional vertical need, or for an expert looking to monetise a methodology without publishing it, Capafy is a reasonable place to start, particularly given how many listings can be tried free. For anything load-bearing, treat it as a young marketplace: read the Agent Card's data-flow disclosure, set a spending cap, and prefer publishers with a track record.
