Adori AI
Adori AI turns text, blog posts, PDFs, audio files and podcast episodes into finished videos, generating the script, voice-over, visuals and subtitles automatically. Built for creators and marketing teams, it runs on a freemium model.
What is Adori AI?
Adori AI is a web platform that converts written and spoken material into edited video. It is published by Adori AI, Inc., based in Saratoga, California, and its older adorilabs.com domain now redirects to adoriai.com. The home page opens on a single promise: Transform Text into Engaging Video with AI. Five entry points are advertised — text, PDF, audio, blog and podcast — and twelve dedicated product pages cover the variations, from a pasted prompt or a raw idea to a URL, a sales script or a podcast feed.
The product rests on four building blocks. Realistic AI voice-over draws on more than 40 voices spanning every age range. Timing and captions are handled automatically and stay editable. A media library of 100 million royalty-free photos, videos and background tracks supplies contextual visuals. A live editor then lets you rework the result scene by scene, with side-by-side preview and animations.
The headline addition is a talking-avatar generator: over 50 ready-made professional, casual and cartoon avatars, a custom avatar built from a description or a photo, a script you write yourself or generate from a product brief, and HD output in landscape or portrait. Adori AI positions it for three uses: AI-spokesperson ads on Meta, TikTok and YouTube, product demo videos, and UGC-style social content.
Generation leans on third-party models shown on the home page — Nano Banana, Veo, Runway, ElevenLabs, Kling, Seedream, Flux and Ideogram — with Veo3, Grok and Hailuo named in the plans. A separate AI Authentication module adds a blind watermark that survives transcoding, with imperceptibility above 60 dB, scrambled pseudo-random sequences, a payload of 4 bits per second and error correction; it supports visual and audio verification, origin attribution, and telling AI-generated content apart from human work.
The site claims 500+ five-star reviews, 10K+ users worldwide, 75K+ videos generated and a community of 7,000+ professionals, while its structured data reports a 4.7 rating over 532 reviews. Its comparison table sets the tool against traditional production: manual scripting, a learning curve, several tools, voice actors, manual captioning and no video SEO. There is no about page, no public API and no mobile app, and the 12-article help centre focuses heavily on connecting and publishing to YouTube.

When to use Adori AI / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Adori AI is the right fit.
When to use Adori AI
- Content marketers sitting on a back catalogue of blog posts they want to recycle into short social videos
- Podcasters who need a video version of each episode, produced from an MP3 file or an RSS feed
- Growth and performance teams producing batches of ad creatives to test on Meta, TikTok and YouTube without a shoot
- E-commerce sellers building product demos from a single product image or screenshot, narrated by an AI avatar
- Solo creators and small businesses with no editing skills, who want a free account and a first video without a credit card
When not to use Adori AI
- Teams that need long-form video: the script is capped at 1 minute on Free, 3 minutes on Basic and 5 minutes on Premium
- High-volume publishers: the public plans allow only 1, 15 or 30 exports and between 100 MB and 1 GB of storage
- Studios that require 4K delivery: 1080p is reserved for Premium and no higher resolution is advertised
- Developers and product teams hoping to automate through an API, a mobile app or a browser extension, none of which exists
- Organisations with strict procurement rules: no GDPR statement, no DPA, no subprocessor list and no security certification is published
How to use Adori AI
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create a free account on the Adori AI web app: no credit card is required
- Provide the material — paste the text, enter the URL of an article, upload a PDF or an MP3, or connect a podcast RSS feed
- Choose the tone or style (educational, promotional, narrative) and let the AI condense the content into a video script
- Pick one of the 40+ synthetic voices and regenerate if needed: 3 regenerations per project on Free, 10 on Basic, 20 on Premium
- Let the AI assemble the scenes, the contextual images and the synchronised subtitles
- Fine-tune in the live editor: scene-by-scene editing, side-by-side preview, animations and pre-built templates
- Set the orientation and the resolution (720p, or 1080p on Premium), then export
- Publish straight to YouTube from the platform, or download the video file
- For the avatar route, choose or build an avatar, write the spoken text or paste a product brief, add product images and generate in one click
- Use the help centre to connect the YouTube account and its permissions, enable two-factor authentication, delete a published video, change plan or download your work
Pros & Cons
Pros
- A single tool covers the whole chain: script, voice-over, visuals, subtitles, editing and publishing to YouTube
- Permanent free plan, usable without a credit card
- Public, readable pricing that stays very low for the AI video market: $15 and $45 per month, with an announced 20% discount on annual billing
- No editing skill required, a claim consistent with the workflow the site describes
- Unusually varied inputs: plain text, a URL, a PDF, an audio file or a podcast RSS feed
- Pooled access to several of the market's generative models without a separate subscription for each
- The terms leave content ownership with the user, and the watermarking and deepfake-detection module is rare at this price point
Cons
- Export quotas are very low across every public plan: 1, then 15, then 30 videos
- AI video generation from third-party models is absent from Free and Basic, and the script is capped at 5 minutes even on the most expensive plan
- Storage runs from 100 MB to 1 GB only, and 1080p is reserved for Premium
- No public API, no mobile app and no browser extension; the interface is English only, and the terms note the service is not available in all languages
- One address, operations@adoriai.com, handles legal, privacy, support and cancellations, and the contact page displays it while its own mailto link opens support@adoriai.com, with a further misspelled address in the terms
- The changelog page is an unmodified Framer template describing an unrelated CRM product
- No security certification, no DPA, no subprocessor list and no mention of the GDPR; all purchases are non-refundable, Day Pass included, the testimonials rest on no verifiable review platform, and the free trial in the terms is discretionary and rolls into a paid subscription unless cancelled
Pricing & Plans
Adori AI operates on a freemium basis. A permanent free plan, presented as being for enthusiasts, is available at $0 and requires no credit card. An enterprise package is quoted on request, and a 24-hour Day Pass is offered without a published price. Payment is taken in US dollars by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover through Stripe. All purchases are non-refundable, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Adori AI handles your data.
GDPR overview
The word GDPR appears nowhere on the site: Adori AI neither claims compliance nor denies it. The privacy policy is built around US law, chiefly the Californian CPRA plus Virginia, Colorado and Connecticut, with GLBA and FCRA exemptions. It nonetheless borrows GDPR vocabulary: legal bases, legitimate interest, withdrawal of consent, and rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability in a structured, machine-readable format, together with the right to complain to a data protection authority where you live or work. No Article 27 representative is designated and no data protection officer is named. Requests go to one address, operations@adoriai.com, with a stated 45-day response time extendable to 90 days on written notice. The terms place hosting in the United States. No DPA, standard contractual clauses or subprocessor list is published.
Who owns the data?
Clause 5 of the terms is explicit: you keep every right in, and full ownership of, the content you upload and the videos you generate, and Adori AI claims no ownership of its own. In exchange you grant the company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable licence to use, reproduce, display, distribute, modify, perform and translate that content, for the sole purpose of operating and improving the service. The licence is revocable: removing your content from the service ends the rights granted, apart from routine backup copies. Feedback and suggestions are treated far more broadly, under a licence that includes commercial use. You warrant that you hold every right needed on what you upload and, for publishing to YouTube, on the compositions, recordings, images and likenesses involved.
Reuse rights
The privacy policy dated 15 November 2024 lists what is collected: name, date of birth, company, email, phone number, postal address, country, IP address, payment details and the content of your exchanges with support, alongside usage data such as browser, device, referring page, search terms, browsing behaviour, cookies and web beacons. Purposes and legal bases are spelled out: performance of the contract, legitimate interests, consent and legal obligations. Clause 4 of the terms allows automated systems to analyse your content using techniques such as machine learning, on sending, receipt, use or storage, in order to improve service quality. The policy files that same automated analysis under legitimate interest in some jurisdictions and under consent in others, with consent withdrawable. Human access to content is limited to support, fraud prevention and enforcement of the terms. The company states that it has neither sold nor shared personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising over the past twelve months, but data may be shared with affiliates, business partners, service providers and authorities, and passed on in a merger or sale. Do Not Track signals are not honoured.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Clause 4 of the terms states plainly that the site is hosted in the United States, and that accessing it from another region means your data is transferred to and processed there. The privacy policy adds that data and files are stored on the company's servers or those of its service providers, with cross-border transfers possible in accordance with applicable laws. No hosting country other than the United States is named, no European region is offered, and no hosting provider or subprocessor is identified. One technical detail deserves clarification: DNS resolution for the domain points to an Amazon CloudFront anycast node located in Amsterdam. That is a CDN point of presence used to deliver the site quickly, not a place where your data is stored. In practice, a European buyer should assume US processing with no published transfer mechanism.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Adori AI.
- The free trial described in clause 9 of the terms is granted at the company's discretion and rolls into a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel in time; all purchases are non-refundable, Day Pass included, even for time you never used, and cancelling is not self-service but an email to operations@adoriai.com
- The contact page displays operations@adoriai.com while its own mailto link opens support@adoriai.com, and clause 10 of the terms carries a visibly misspelled address: check you are writing to an inbox someone actually reads
- The changelog page is an untouched Framer template describing a CRM product, so it documents none of the tool's real releases and gives you no way to track what changes
- The GDPR is never mentioned, no Article 27 representative, DPA or subprocessor list exists, and the terms allow automated machine-learning analysis of your content with no documented opt-out
- All data is processed in the United States, with no transfer mechanism specified for users elsewhere
- The audience figures on display (500+ reviews, 10K+ users, 75K+ videos, a 4.7 rating) rest on no verifiable source, and adoriai.com was only registered in September 2024 after the rebrand from adorilabs.com
- Letting the AI write the script, choose the visuals and voice every video makes it easy to publish material you never really checked: factual errors, borrowed likenesses and a whole channel of look-alike videos are the predictable cost of skipping the review step
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Getting started is easy. You sign up with an email address on the web app, no credit card required, and social sign-in through Google or Facebook is also available. Nothing is installed: no plugin, no configuration, everything happens in the browser, and the site claims no editing skill or technical expertise is needed. The only genuinely technical step is connecting a YouTube account for direct publishing, which means granting the right permissions and, where applicable, enabling two-factor authentication. Four help centre articles are devoted to that step alone, which suggests it is where new users most often get stuck.

Should you pick Adori AI?
Adori AI is a content-recycling tool: it takes what you have already written or recorded and turns it into video. The bet is on simplicity and price rather than raw power, and the chain really is complete — the AI writes the script, records the voice, picks the visuals, times the subtitles and publishes to YouTube, all inside one browser tab and with no editing skill expected.
The pricing follows the same logic. A permanent free plan opens the door without a credit card, and the paid tiers stay unusually low at $15 and $45 per month. The trade-off shows in the quotas: one, fifteen or thirty exports depending on the plan, scripts capped at five minutes even at the top, storage measured in hundreds of megabytes, and 1080p held back for Premium. This suits a steady flow of short videos, not long-form production.
Data governance is where the tool falls behind. The terms leave content ownership with the user, which is welcome, but the GDPR is never mentioned, no Article 27 representative or data protection officer is named, no DPA or subprocessor list is published, and a single operations address handles legal, privacy, support and cancellations alike. Everything is processed in the United States.
A few editorial lapses reinforce the impression of a small team moving fast: a changelog page that is still an unmodified template describing an unrelated CRM, and a contact page whose displayed address does not match its own mailto link. The publisher is nonetheless identified, with a Californian postal address written into the terms. For personal use and social content the offer is genuinely attractive; before a serious professional deployment, ask the vendor to put its commitments in writing.
