beHERObot
A Czech-built AI consultant for recruitment and HR, delivered as a Telegram chatbot. It drafts job ads, plans onboarding and answers labour-law questions in plain conversation, drawing on twenty years of documented HR practice.
What is beHERObot?
beHERObot is an AI consultant built for one job: recruitment and human resources. It is not positioned as a general assistant that happens to know some HR. The vendor sells it as a senior adviser on call around the clock, and the knowledge behind it is named — twenty years of hands-on practice by co-founder Petra Svobodová, spanning sourcing, agency recruitment, executive search, HR business partnering and leading a thirty-strong recruitment team, combined with the current Czech Labour Code and its amendments, the GDPR and the EU AI Act.
The delivery channel deserves attention before anything else: the service runs entirely inside Telegram. The terms state that it is provided through a chatbot on the Telegram platform and that registration goes through the user's own Telegram account. There is no web application of its own, no iOS or Android app, no browser extension and no API. When the site says you can use it on a computer and on a phone, it means Telegram runs on both.
Inside that channel the interaction is deliberately plain. No prompt engineering is expected — you describe the task or the situation and get an answer back, in text or as a voice message, switchable mid-conversation. The tool keeps long-term memory of what you have discussed, your preferences and your communication style, so it grows more tailored with use. It reads uploaded documents and spreadsheets, analyses a web page, LinkedIn profile or YouTube video from a pasted link, searches online, recognises and edits images, sets reminders and can reach out to you first. It handles more than fifty languages with automatic detection.
The knowledge base is organised into around twenty published areas, from employer branding, selection psychology and candidate communication through to onboarding, performance management, diversity and inclusion, HR controlling, competency models and employment-law guidance. Customers can layer their own know-how on top of the vendor's.
It is sold in three annual tiers separated mainly by a monthly message quota, and the vendor claims two years of development with twelve developers behind it. The publisher, 4HR Digital, s.r.o., also licenses its HR know-how to other AI vendors under a separate B2B offer, and runs an editorial section called EduHERO on the same site — neither of which is this product.
What it does
- Writes and rewrites job adverts in your own tone rather than a generic AI template
- Answers Czech labour-law, GDPR and EU AI Act questions and drafts employment contract clauses
- Builds onboarding plans and retention proposals you can put straight into practice
- Reads uploaded documents and spreadsheets and discusses their contents with you
- Analyses a link you paste — an article, a website, a LinkedIn profile or a YouTube video
- Prepares interview scenarios, sourcing strategies and salary negotiation ground
- Searches online, recognises images, edits visuals and sets reminders for you
When to use beHERObot / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if beHERObot is the right fit.
When to use beHERObot
- In-house recruiters and talent sourcers who write job ads, run searches and prepare interviews every week
- HR generalists and HR business partners handling employment law, onboarding and employee relations without a large team behind them
- Recruitment agencies, headhunters, RPO providers and interim HR consultants who bill for expertise and need a fast second opinion
- Founders and hiring managers in small companies where nobody owns the HR function and the owner does the hiring
- Junior and mid-level recruiters who want a mentor on call rather than another course or e-book
When not to use beHERObot
- Organisations already running GPT Enterprise or Microsoft Copilot on their own large HR knowledge base, which the vendor itself says will get little from this
- Teams that cannot or will not use Telegram, since the account is the only way in and no web, mobile or desktop client of its own exists
- Buyers who need to trial software before paying, as there is no free plan and no free trial anywhere in the offer
- Anyone looking for an applicant tracking system, an email client or a candidate screening tool, none of which this is
- IT and engineering teams wanting to wire HR intelligence into their own systems, because no public API or integration layer is offered
How to use beHERObot
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Join the vendor's open video Q&A, held weekly, if you want your questions answered before buying
- Pick one of the three tiers on the pricing section of the home page, sized by company headcount and monthly message quota
- Fill in the order form on the corresponding order page
- Pay by card for immediate activation, or by bank transfer against an invoice, which also activates the licence at once
- Read the confirmation and launch instructions the vendor sends after payment
- Open the bot from your Telegram account, which is the only way in
- Let it detect your language on first contact, or tell it plainly which language to use
- Work through the starter tips and suggested topics in the getting-started section rather than staring at an empty chat
- Describe your task in ordinary words, in text or by voice, and upload files or paste links as needed
- Type "/stop" in the conversation to cancel; otherwise the subscription renews automatically unless you give seven days' notice
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Genuine subject-matter depth: the HR and recruitment knowledge is attributed to a named practitioner with twenty years of documented experience, not to a generic model
- Current Czech labour law, GDPR and EU AI Act coverage, which general assistants handle poorly for a specific jurisdiction
- Clear privacy posture on paper: encrypted conversations, storage stated to be in the EU only, and an explicit claim that no AI is trained on customer data
- Independent network checks place the site's own hosting in Prague, Czechia, rather than offshore
- No prompt skills required, which lowers the barrier for HR staff who are not technical
- Four named HR professionals give on-record testimonials comparing it favourably with ChatGPT on specificity and grasp of context
- Cancelling is trivial — you type "/stop" in the conversation — and a partial money-back guarantee covers the first thirty days
Cons
- Telegram is the only way in: no web app, no mobile or desktop client of its own, no API, and a Telegram account is mandatory
- No free plan and no free trial; you commit to a full year up front and the tier cannot be changed during it
- Even if you invoke the guarantee, one month of the twelve is non-refundable
- The message quota counts the bot's replies as well as your own, and unused monthly messages do not roll over
- The legal documents are visibly unedited templates: the privacy policy's effective date predates the company, one clause leaves two contradictory options in place, and a security paragraph stops mid-sentence
- No subprocessor list is published, no data processing agreement is offered, and no minimum age is stated anywhere
- Most of the site is in Czech; the English page is shorter, omits the headcount segmentation and quotes different currency figures
Pricing & Plans
There is no free plan and no free trial: access is granted only after payment. The lowest entry point is the beHERO CORE tier at 2,082 CZK per month including VAT, billed annually, which works out at 24,984 CZK for the year. The English-language page quotes the same tier at 83 EUR per month, or 1,000 EUR billed annually, without stating whether VAT is included — an implicit conversion of roughly 25 CZK to the euro. Two further tiers follow at 3,166 CZK and 4,166 CZK per month including VAT. One-off message top-ups are sold separately at 490 CZK for 100 messages, 1,290 CZK for 300 and 3,490 CZK for 1,000; these never expire. A satisfaction guarantee refunds eleven of the twelve months if claimed within thirty days of activation.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how beHERObot handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed explicitly, not merely implied: the terms state that personal data is processed under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Czech Act 110/2019 Coll. The privacy policy names the controller, gives its identification number, states the legal bases — contract performance, legitimate interest in direct marketing, and consent — and lists the rights of access, rectification, restriction, erasure, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent, each with its article number. Complaints go to the Czech data protection authority, and consumer disputes to the Czech Trade Inspection or the European Commission's ODR platform. Two caveats matter. No DPO has been appointed. And the policy is visibly an unedited template: its stated effective date predates the company's own existence, one clause leaves both sides of an automated-decision-making alternative in place, and a security paragraph stops mid-sentence.
Who owns the data?
The data controller is 4HR Digital, s.r.o., the Prague company named in the terms, the privacy policy and the contact page, reachable at info@beherobot.com. No data protection officer has been appointed, which the policy states outright. The vendor says conversations are encrypted, private to the account holder, and that nobody — including the platform owners — has direct access to chat history or user information. Contractually, the terms keep all intellectual property in the service, its software, design and texts with the provider or its licensors; the customer receives only a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use, and confidentiality over supplied information is promised in return.
Reuse rights
The terms do not grant the customer any reuse right over the service itself. Intellectual property in the software, design, texts and graphics stays with the provider or its licensing partners, and the customer gets a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service under those terms and nothing more. Modifying it, creating derivative works, decompiling or reverse-engineering it, and selling, renting or otherwise commercialising it without prior written consent are all forbidden. What the customer may do with the answers it receives in its own HR work is simply not addressed either way, so no permission is expressed and none is refused. On the vendor's side, personal data is processed to fulfil the order and the contract and, separately, to send commercial messages and newsletters. The vendor states in its FAQ that no AI is trained on customer data, although no contractual document repeats that promise.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The vendor's claim is short and repeated in both language versions: chats are encrypted and data is stored only in the EU. The FAQ says the same, describing conversations as encrypted and securely stored within the EU. The privacy policy adds that the controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country outside the EU or to an international organisation — though the very same clause then refers to recipients in third countries being mailing and cloud providers, a contradiction left in place by an unedited template. Beyond that, nothing is specified. No hosting country is named, no data centre is identified and no processor is listed. Jurisdiction is Czech: the controller is a Prague company, the terms are governed by Czech law and disputes go to the Czech courts, with the Czech data protection authority as supervisory authority. One independent data point is worth separating from the vendor's claims: the website itself resolves to an address operated from Prague, Czechia. That covers the site, not necessarily the conversations held inside the bot.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting beHERObot.
- The publisher's identity is stated two different ways: the terms, privacy policy and contact page name 4HR Digital, s.r.o., while the home and about pages use "BeHeroBot, s.r.o.", a name that does not appear in the Czech commercial register. Get the counterparty confirmed in writing before signing
- Confidence by association: the tool is built to discuss labour law, GDPR and the AI Act, which makes it easy to mistake fluent answers for legal advice. The terms disclaim exactly that, stating the provider is not liable for decisions taken on the strength of its answers
- Sensitive input by design: the vendor invites you to share candidate and employee information, yet publishes no subprocessor list and offers no data processing agreement. The privacy policy names only categories of recipients
- Read the comparison FAQ carefully: its detailed passages about DPAs, zero data retention, thirty-day retention and US servers describe OpenAI and Google, not this product. It is easy to carry those guarantees over by mistake
- Single-vendor dependency: the service exists only inside Telegram, so an outage, an account suspension or a corporate ban on Telegram takes your access with it
- Skill erosion: an adviser that drafts your job ads, your interview scenarios and your contract clauses can quietly stop being a second opinion and start being the first and only one, especially for junior recruiters using it as a mentor
- Commercial lock-in: the year is paid up front, the tier cannot be changed mid-term, one month is non-refundable even under the guarantee, and renewal is automatic unless you give notice seven days ahead
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low, with one hard prerequisite. Nothing is installed, nothing is configured and no prompt technique has to be learnt — but you must have a Telegram account, because registration goes through it and there is no other way in. After ordering and paying you receive launch instructions, and the vendor claims you are running within three minutes. The bot detects your language on first contact, and a dedicated getting-started section offers starter topics so you are not facing an empty chat. The real friction is organisational rather than technical: getting Telegram approved where it is not already used.

Should you pick beHERObot?
beHERObot is a credible niche tool rather than a broad one, and its niche is real. Where a general assistant gives you plausible HR-flavoured text, this one is built on a named practitioner's twenty years of work and on current Czech employment law, which is precisely the sort of jurisdiction-specific detail generalist models get wrong. For a recruiter or an HR generalist working in Czechia or Slovakia, that difference is the whole value proposition, and the four on-record testimonials from named HR professionals make the same point.
Two things should shape the decision. The first is the channel: everything happens inside Telegram, and a Telegram account is mandatory. For an individual practitioner that is a near-zero setup cost. For a company with an IT policy, it is likely to be a blocker, and there is no alternative on offer today. The second is the commercial shape: a full year paid up front, no free plan, no trial, and a guarantee that still leaves one month non-refundable. You are asked to commit on the strength of a weekly video Q&A and a few testimonials.
The privacy posture reads well — encryption, EU storage, an explicit no-training claim — but it rests on marketing copy more than on contract. The legal pages are visibly unedited templates, no subprocessor list exists and no data processing agreement is offered, which matters more than usual for a tool meant to hold candidate and employee information. The publisher's identity is also stated inconsistently across the site.
Worth a serious look if you do Czech or Slovak HR work and Telegram is acceptable to you. Ask for the legal paperwork in writing before committing to a year.
