Instant Reply
Instant Reply is a shared inbox whose AI sales agent works Instagram DMs, WhatsApp Business, Messenger and Telegram: it drafts replies, qualifies leads, follows up and books meetings, with billing per AI reply sent rather than per contact.
What is Instant Reply?
Instant Reply is a shared inbox with an AI sales agent attached, built for one job: selling in social messaging. It brings Instagram DMs, WhatsApp Business and Facebook Messenger into a single queue, with Telegram joining from the Growth plan, and connects through the official Meta and WhatsApp Business APIs — “no scraping, no grey-area workarounds”, as the about page puts it. The AI is trained on your own business: FAQs, policies, prices, website pages and past conversations feed an “AI Brain”, so that, in the words of the homepage, “it knows your prices and your policies, so it can actually close the sale instead of just answering questions”.
Nothing is sent without a human at first. The tool starts in approval mode: your team validates, edits or escalates every draft, and auto-send is then opened gradually, one reply type at a time, with sensitive threads escalated to a person. The agent is genuinely multimodal — it transcribes voice notes and reads photos, screenshots and PDFs, and answers in text or voice. It also works in public, replying to comments and story mentions before moving the exchange into a private DM.
Around the inbox sits a sales workflow: lead capture with stage and intent, routing to the right owner, scheduled follow-ups that stop as soon as the customer replies, Google review requests sent only after satisfaction has been checked, and in-thread booking that offers Google Calendar slots or sends your Calendly link on the Pro plan. Pro also syncs qualified lead fields one way into HubSpot or Pipedrive; full threads and the external CRM stages stay where they are.
What the product refuses is as telling as what it offers: there is no visual flow builder. Capacity is metered by three counters that reset on the first of each month — AI Replies, Campaign Reach and Automation Actions — and the platform switches model provider automatically if one goes down. Everything is also reachable through a public REST API and an MCP server usable from Claude or Cursor. The publisher, InstantReply, is based in Abu Dhabi and run by two founders, Suleiman Alnsour and Saif Farroukh.
What it does
- Handle Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Telegram conversations in a single shared queue
- Draft the first reply with an AI trained on your own prices, policies and FAQs
- Answer public comments and story mentions, then move the conversation into a private DM
- Read voice notes, photos, screenshots and PDFs sent by customers, and reply by text or voice
- Chase silent leads with automatic follow-ups that stop the moment they answer or opt out
- Offer calendar slots, confirm the appointment in-thread and ask for a Google review afterwards
- Push qualified lead fields to HubSpot or Pipedrive, or drive everything from a REST API or MCP server
When to use Instant Reply / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Instant Reply is the right fit.
When to use Instant Reply
- E-commerce shops and local service businesses that close sales inside Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger DMs rather than on a website
- Small teams and solo operators: the product says so plainly, it is built for them and not for enterprise committees
- Instagram creators who sell in DMs and want a paid entry point at 15 USD per month
- Medical spas, clinics, real-estate agencies and marketing agencies that book appointments straight inside the conversation thread
- Developers and AI agents that need to drive Instagram and Messenger conversations through a REST API or an MCP server
When not to use Instant Reply
- Teams running mass broadcast campaigns: the site itself sends them to ManyChat or WATI
- Web support, ticketing and help-desk needs, for which the site names Intercom, Tidio, Freshdesk Omni and Gorgias instead
- Anyone who wants a visual flow builder, since Instant Reply deliberately has none and lets the AI write inside a real inbox
- Businesses that need a full CRM (the site points to Kommo) or raw WhatsApp infrastructure (Twilio, Meta Cloud API, 360dialog)
- Organisations bound to SOC 2, ISO 27001 or a signed uptime SLA, none of which is claimed, and anyone under 18 since the service is business-only
How to use Instant Reply
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Try the read-only interactive demo first: it needs no account, no card and mirrors the real product
- Create your workspace to start the 10-day Pro trial, with no payment card requested
- Verify your email address to unlock 1,000 AI replies
- Add your website URL so the AI can pull your pages in as a knowledge source
- Connect a first channel through the official Meta pop-up launched from the site
- Wait for Meta's verification, whose duration varies from one account to another
- Feed the AI Brain with your FAQs, policies, prices, service details and past conversations
- Review, edit or escalate each AI draft while the tool runs in approval mode
- Open auto-send progressively, one reply type at a time, as confidence grows
- On the Pro plan, connect HubSpot or Pipedrive and Google Calendar, or book a free 1:1 setup session with a founder
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Billing counts AI replies sent, not contacts: an audience can grow from 100 to 100,000 without moving the invoice
- No overage bill: once the quota is reached the AI pauses and an email warns you
- Approval mode by default, so auto-send stays an explicit decision taken one reply type at a time
- Official Meta and WhatsApp Business APIs, with no scraping and no grey-area workarounds
- Genuinely multimodal: voice notes, photos, screenshots and PDFs are read, not just text
- Unusual transparency: subprocessors listed one by one with their location, EU application hosting on Azure Sweden Central, a written commitment never to enroll customer data in model training, and a security page that refuses to claim certifications the company does not hold
- Easy to evaluate and reach: full interactive demo without an account, 10-day Pro trial without a card, REST API and MCP included from the first paid plan, and direct WhatsApp access to both founders
Cons
- Channels are limited to the Meta family plus Telegram: no email, no website chat, no SMS
- Only HubSpot and Pipedrive are live; Salesforce, HighLevel, Outlook, Calendly, Cal.com, Notion and Airtable are announced but unavailable
- CRM sync is one-way and, like in-chat booking and white labelling, reserved for the 349 USD Pro plan
- No iOS or Android app: the product is web plus API only
- No certification (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA) and no uptime SLA unless separately agreed in writing
- WhatsApp delivery fees are billed separately by Meta on the customer's own account, on top of the subscription
- A very young company — domain registered on 02/02/2026, no Wayback archive, no full postal address — with UAE governing law, exclusive Abu Dhabi jurisdiction and liability capped at the greater of twelve months of fees or 100 USD
Pricing & Plans
Instant Reply offers a permanently free plan (Instagram only, 30 AI replies per month, read-only API) and a full 10-day Pro trial that requires no payment card. The cheapest paid entry point is the Creator plan at 15.00 USD per month, or 150 USD per year. The developer range starts at 19 USD per month and the business range at 59 USD per month, rising to 129 and 349 USD. An annual commitment saves 17 % on every plan. Billing is measured in AI replies sent, never in contacts or seats, and is invoiced in USD or AED, taxes excluded. WhatsApp delivery fees are charged directly by Meta on the customer's own Meta account.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Instant Reply handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed concretely rather than vaguely. The privacy policy maps each purpose to an Article 6 legal basis: 6(1)(b) contract, 6(1)(f) legitimate interest, 6(1)(c) legal obligation and 6(1)(a) consent. The UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) applies alongside it, the company being based in Abu Dhabi, and Californian CCPA/CPRA rights are handled separately with a 45-day answer, extendable once. EU and UK users are offered access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent and complaint to their supervisory authority, with a 30-day response from privacy@instantreply.co. An Article 28 DPA is published and counter-signed for business customers within five working days; transfers outside the EEA and UK rely on standard contractual clauses, and breaches are notified to customers within 72 hours. One clear gap: no Article 27 EU representative is designated.
Who owns the data?
The terms are explicit: you keep all rights to the data you upload to or generate through the service, defined as Customer Data, and you grant InstantReply only a limited licence to process it in order to provide and improve the service. Conversation data belongs to the customer. InstantReply is the controller for its own marketing site and a processor for customer conversations, while the customer remains the controller towards its own end customers and handles their requests. On the way out, Customer Data can be exported for 30 days after termination, and the DPA lets the customer choose between deletion and return within 30 days of the contract ending.
Reuse rights
As the owner of your Customer Data you may reuse, export and reproduce it freely, without asking InstantReply for permission. On its side the company lists what it processes data for: running and improving the service, taking payments, sending transactional email, marketing with an opt-out, support, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and aggregated anonymised analytics. Conversation content is passed to AI model providers only to generate the reply, the transcription or the audio, and the policy states that it sends “only the content needed to generate the output and does not enroll this data in any provider data-sharing or model-training programs”. Staff may review Customer Data under confidentiality obligations to operate, secure, debug and improve the service. Personal data is not sold and is not shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. New-account details (name, email, company name) are pushed to an internal Discord channel.

Hosting summary
The application, its frontend, the PostgreSQL database, Entra ID authentication, the Redis cache and message processing all run on Microsoft Azure in the Sweden Central region, inside the European Union. Around that core, a published table lists eleven subprocessors with their location: Stripe for payments, Google Analytics for the marketing site only, Meta for channel delivery, Resend for transactional email and Sentry for monitoring are all in the United States. AI inference is spread wider still — OpenAI in the United States, AWS Bedrock and Polly in the EU (Frankfurt) and the United States, Google Gemini API in the United States, Azure OpenAI Service in the United States and the EU, and Alibaba Cloud Model Studio for Qwen in Singapore. Transfers outside the EEA and the UK are covered by standard contractual clauses, with copies available on request. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2 and above), integration secrets use AES-GCM, and access is limited by row-level security and organisation-scoped controls. Customers are notified fourteen days before any material change of subprocessor and may terminate. No certification is claimed for any of it.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Instant Reply.
- Three different refund windows coexist on the site — 14 days reviewed case by case on the pricing pages, a 14-day ROI guarantee on the first cycle in the terms, and 30 days (60 on Pro) in the pricing FAQ — while another passage says monthly plans are not refunded at all: get the applicable window in writing before paying
- Meta's WhatsApp delivery fees sit outside the subscription and are charged on your own Meta account, so the real monthly cost is never the sticker price alone
- You carry the responsibility for messages the AI sends automatically, including any fine, suspension or account closure imposed by Meta, and Meta can cut off WhatsApp Business API access on its own with no right to a refund
- Total liability is capped at the greater of twelve months of fees or 100 USD, under UAE law with exclusive Abu Dhabi jurisdiction and a waiver of class actions: a long way to travel for a dispute
- No security certification and no uptime SLA is claimed, which is honest but leaves nothing to enforce when the service is unavailable
- Opening auto-send too early quietly transfers judgement to the machine: customers can receive confident answers on price, availability or health matters that nobody read, and the team loses the habit of checking
- CRM sync is one-way, so stages changed in HubSpot or Pipedrive never come back; Salesforce, HighLevel, Outlook, Calendly, Cal.com, Notion and Airtable are still only announced, and the company itself is very recent with no Wayback archive of its domain
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for the standard path. The site quotes a typical setup of under five minutes: create a workspace, verify your email, paste your website URL and connect a channel through the official Meta pop-up. No technical skill is required. Two real frictions remain: Meta's verification, whose duration varies by account and is outside InstantReply's control, and filling the AI Brain yourself with FAQs, prices and policies. A free 1:1 setup session with a founder is offered. The developer path is harder: a scoped Bearer key, an MCP configuration block and signed webhooks to verify on your side.

Should you pick Instant Reply?
Instant Reply is a narrow tool, and deliberately so. It is not a help desk, not a broadcast platform and not a CRM: it is conversational selling inside Meta's channels, plus Telegram. Judged on that ground it is well built: an AI trained on your prices and policies drafts the reply, chases the silent lead, asks for the Google review and books the slot, with a human validating until you decide otherwise.
Its central argument is commercial rather than technical: you pay per AI reply sent, not per contact, so an audience can grow tenfold without moving the invoice, and going over quota pauses the AI instead of billing overage. The entry point is genuinely low — a permanent free plan, a 10-day Pro trial without a card and a Creator plan at 15 USD per month — and a full interactive demo is open without an account.
The transparency is unusual. Subprocessors are listed one by one with their location, the application is hosted in the EU on Azure Sweden Central, conversations are never enrolled in model training, and the security page refuses to claim certifications the company does not hold.
The reservations are just as real. There is no certification and no uptime SLA. CRM sync covers only HubSpot and Pipedrive, one way, on the most expensive plan, and seven other integrations are still coming soon. There is no mobile app. The company is very young, the contract is governed by UAE law with liability capped at the greater of twelve months of fees or 100 USD, and the site itself displays three incompatible refund windows. For a small team already selling in DMs, the fit is strong and honest; for anyone needing compliance paperwork, multi-channel coverage or a mature vendor, it is too early.
