UniAI
An all-in-one AI workspace that puts chat, image, video, audio, translation, writing, a design canvas and autonomous agents behind a single account and one shared credit balance, drawing on models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek and Alibaba Cloud.
What is UniAI?
UniAI is an aggregator rather than a model maker. It places models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek and Alibaba Cloud behind a single account and a single balance, so that one subscription replaces the several a heavy AI user would otherwise juggle. The platform is organised into eight modules — multi-model chat, image, video, audio, translation, writing, a design canvas and agents — and every one of them draws on the same credit pool, in which one credit is worth 0.001 USD and the estimated cost of an operation is shown before it runs.
Chat accepts file and image uploads, lets you change model mid-conversation without losing context, and can turn a thread into a slide deck, a website, a spreadsheet or a PDF in one click. The image module covers text-to-image, instruction-based editing, background removal, two- to fourfold upscaling, OCR, style transfer, inpainting and old-photo restoration. Video offers text-to-video, image-to-video, first and last frame control, reference mode, draft mode, automatic dubbing and a Video Agent Studio that carries a concept through an AI script, a storyboard and batch clips. Audio handles speech synthesis and recognition, music generation, voice cloning and multi-speaker podcasts. Translation runs across more than fifty languages with a custom glossary, keeps the layout of PDF, Word and PowerPoint files, and preserves subtitle timing in SRT, VTT and ASS.
The feature the publisher pushes hardest is Design, an infinite canvas on which image, video, audio and text nodes are wired into a visual pipeline, with layer management, group execution, 360-degree panoramas, storyboards, a template library and real-time collaboration. Agents cover web research with a sourced report, slide generation, spreadsheet analysis and local file handling.
Four surfaces give access to all of this: the web application, a Chrome and Firefox extension that translates selections and whole pages, summarises articles, digests YouTube and Bilibili subtitles and drafts email replies, a macOS client, and a command-line tool that installs into Claude Code, Cursor or Codex through a personal access token and an MCP server. Teams share a workspace, a pooled balance and per-project roles. The platform opened to the public on 1 April 2026. No legal entity, postal address or founder is published anywhere on the site.
What it does
- Chat with GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and Qwen from one interface, switching model mid-conversation without losing context
- Generate and retouch images: text-to-image, instruction-based editing, background removal, 2-4x upscaling, OCR, inpainting and style transfer
- Produce video from text or images, with first and last frame control, reference mode, automatic dubbing and a Video Agent Studio
- Wire image, video, audio and text nodes into a visual production pipeline on an infinite design canvas
- Translate text, documents and subtitles across more than fifty languages while preserving layout and timing
- Synthesise and transcribe speech, clone a voice, compose music and assemble multi-speaker podcasts

When to use UniAI / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if UniAI is the right fit.
When to use UniAI
- Content creators and freelancers who currently pay for several separate AI subscriptions and would rather fund one balance
- Designers and video makers who want a node-based canvas linking image, video, audio and text generation in a single pipeline
- Translators and localisation specialists handling text, documents and subtitles across more than fifty languages with a custom glossary
- Small teams and studios needing a shared workspace, a pooled credit quota and per-project roles under central billing
- Occasional users whose workload is irregular, since credit packs never expire and no subscription is compulsory
When not to use UniAI
- Regulated organisations that must identify their supplier: no legal entity, registered address or founder appears anywhere on the site
- Buyers with a European compliance requirement, as the site never mentions the GDPR, offers no Data Processing Agreement and designates no Article 27 representative
- Security-conscious procurement teams looking for SOC 2, ISO 27001 or any published hosting location, none of which the publisher claims
- Users who need a documented REST API, since programmatic access exists only through a command-line tool and an MCP server driven by a personal access token
- Anyone who needs a mobile or Windows client today, or who is under eighteen, both of which the platform excludes
How to use UniAI
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Register with an email address and the six-digit code sent to it, or sign in with a Google account in one click
- Collect the 1,000 credits granted on registration; no payment card is required at this stage
- Pick a module from the top bar: Chat, Design, Create, or Translate for text, image and audio
- In Chat, select a model from the header, upload any images or files, and switch model later without losing the thread
- Read the estimated credit cost displayed before each operation, which is what will actually be charged
- Claim 200 further credits every twenty-four hours through the daily check-in, plus 200 on your first chat, first image and first document
- Open Design to lay out an infinite canvas and connect image, video, audio and text nodes into a pipeline
- Install the browser extension from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons, or download the macOS client from the Download page
- For command-line use, generate a personal access token in the console under Profile then Security, and register it with the CLI configuration command
- Top up with a credit pack or take out a subscription when the free allowance runs short; both accumulate on the same balance
Pros & Cons
Pros
- One account and one balance replace several separate AI subscriptions, with the leading model families side by side
- Transparent pricing: one credit costs 0.001 USD, the full rate card is public, and the estimated cost appears before each call
- No compulsory subscription — credit packs never expire, stack with a plan and can even be transferred to another user
- Generous free entry: 1,000 credits on registration without a payment card, then 200 more every day at check-in
- The publisher states that customer conversations, uploads and outputs are never used to train models
- Ownership of both input and generated output is explicitly granted to the user in the terms of service
- Genuine programmatic access through a command-line tool and an MCP server that plug into Claude Code, Cursor and Codex
Cons
- The publisher is entirely anonymous: no company name, postal address, founder or beneficial owner appears anywhere, and the footer reads only 'UniAI'
- No GDPR mention, no Data Processing Agreement, no Article 27 representative and no security certification of any kind
- No hosting location is disclosed, while the terms place any dispute under the law and courts of the People's Republic of China
- The domain was registered on 16 February 2026 and has no Wayback Machine capture at all, leaving the product with no verifiable track record
- A single human contact channel, a support mailbox, and it is hidden behind Cloudflare obfuscation rather than shown in plain text
- Purchased credits are non-refundable, and an account may be suspended after twelve months of inactivity
- Only the macOS client has shipped, in version 0.1.24 and flagged as beta; Windows, Android and iOS are all still announced as coming soon
Pricing & Plans
A permanent free plan is available, granting 1,000 credits per month at no charge, and every new account receives a further 1,000 credits on registration without a payment card. The lowest paid entry point is the Basic subscription at USD 9.00 per month, or USD 96.00 per year, for a monthly allocation of 9,500 credits. Users preferring not to subscribe may instead buy credit packs outright, starting at USD 10.00 for 10,000 credits, which do not expire while the account remains active.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how UniAI handles your data.
GDPR overview
There is no mention of the GDPR anywhere on the site. A search across every collected page, in both text and archived HTML, returns no occurrence of the GDPR, the General Data Protection Regulation or the CCPA. No Data Processing Agreement is offered, no Article 27 representative is designated and no data protection officer is named. The privacy policy does grant rights that resemble the European ones — access, correction, deletion, export and withdrawal of consent — but it states them without reference to any legal framework, and they are exercised by writing to a single support address. Security measures listed are password encryption, HTTPS/TLS transport, access control and regular audits, with an explicit disclaimer that absolute security cannot be guaranteed. The terms place the contract under the law of the People's Republic of China. Both documents took effect on 30 March 2026.
Who owns the data?
The terms of service leave ownership with the user. Clause 5.1 states that all rights in submitted input, prompts and uploaded files remain yours, and clause 5.2 grants you the generated text, images, video and audio to the extent the law permits, free to use, modify and distribute. Two reservations temper this: clause 5.3 gives no guarantee that a generated output is unique, and clause 5.4 lets the publisher exploit anonymised, de-identified usage data to improve the service. Clause 5.5 adds that the terms of the third-party model providers apply in parallel, so the content also passes through their own rules once a request is forwarded.
Reuse rights
Yes. Under clause 5.2 of the terms, content generated through the service belongs to the user to the extent permitted by law and may be used, modified and distributed freely, with no further permission to request and no commercial restriction stated. The only caveat is clause 5.3, which warns that outputs are not guaranteed to be unique and may resemble those produced for other users, so exclusivity cannot be assumed. On the publisher's side, the privacy policy states that personal information is not sold, and the home page FAQ adds that conversations, uploads and outputs never feed model training. Input is nevertheless forwarded to the third-party model providers that fulfil each request, and clause 5.4 reserves the use of anonymised, de-identified usage data for service improvement.

Hosting summary
The publisher discloses no hosting location. Neither the privacy policy, the terms nor any other page names a country, a region or a cloud provider for stored data, and a targeted search across the collected pages returned nothing. What is described is the protective measure rather than the place: passwords encrypted before storage, HTTPS and TLS in transit, access control and permission management, and regular security audits, with an explicit statement that absolute security of transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed. The home page FAQ adds that data is encrypted at rest and can be exported or deleted at any time. Two facts sit outside the publisher's own declarations and are worth weighing: the site resolves to an IP address in Hong Kong, and the terms place the contract under the law of the People's Republic of China. Submitted content is in any case forwarded to the third-party model providers that fulfil each request, and payment data is handled by Stripe.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting UniAI.
- You cannot know who holds your data: with no company, address or owner disclosed, there is no counterparty to hold to account if something goes wrong
- Dispute resolution is routed to the courts of the People's Republic of China, a forum most users outside that jurisdiction would find impractical to use
- Whatever you submit is forwarded to third-party model providers whose own policies then apply, so the chain of custody extends beyond the platform you signed up to
- Convenience invites over-sharing: because one account handles documents, images, voice and code, sensitive material tends to accumulate in a single place
- Generated output is explicitly not guaranteed to be unique, so anything published without checking may closely resemble another user's work and expose you to a claim
- Leaning on a single assistant for writing, translation and analysis erodes the skills it replaces, and its confident tone makes errors easy to accept without verification
- Credits are non-refundable and an inactive account may be suspended after twelve months, so money left on the balance can quietly be lost
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low for most users. The web application needs no installation: an email address and a six-digit code, or a Google sign-in, are enough to start. The browser extension installs in one click from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons, and the macOS client is a downloadable disk image requiring macOS 11.0 or later on Apple Silicon or Intel. Only the command-line tool calls for a little more: a personal access token must be generated in the console and registered, with an optional API endpoint variable. No infrastructure work is required at any point.

Should you pick UniAI?
UniAI makes a persuasive case on features and price. For a product opened to the public on 1 April 2026, the functional spread is unusually broad — chat, image, video, audio, translation, writing, a node-based design canvas and agents — and the credit system behind it is refreshingly legible: one credit costs 0.001 USD, the rate card is public, the estimated cost of every call is shown before it runs, and nothing obliges the user to subscribe. A permanent free plan, 1,000 credits on sign-up and 200 more each day make it genuinely testable before any payment. The terms grant ownership of both input and output, and the publisher states plainly that customer content never feeds model training.
Set against that is a transparency problem that is hard to overlook. Nobody is named. There is no company, no address, no founder and no identifiable beneficial owner; the domain was registered in February 2026, has no archive history whatsoever, and its registrant is redacted, as is that of the neighbouring domain the platform uses for downloads and one of its contact addresses. The GDPR is never mentioned, no Data Processing Agreement exists, no certification is claimed and no hosting location is disclosed — while the terms route any dispute to the courts of the People's Republic of China and the site itself resolves to an address in Hong Kong.
The reasonable reading is that UniAI is good value for personal work and small teams whose material carries little compliance weight, and where the convenience of one balance across many models is worth more than a known counterparty. For regulated work, client data or anything requiring an auditable supplier, it should be set aside until the publisher says who it is.
