Jobbcoach.ai
Swedish-language job hunting platform bundling ATS-oriented CV analysis, tailored cover letters, job matching drawn from Arbetsförmedlingen and JobTech, aptitude test practice and LinkedIn tuning. Free tier with daily quotas; Premium costs 149 SEK monthly.
What is Jobbcoach.ai?
Jobbcoach.ai is a Swedish job hunting platform built on one blunt premise: recruitment software reads your application before any person does, so the application has to be written for that software first. Everything is in Swedish and aimed squarely at the Swedish labour market.
Eight tools sit on the same account. CV analysis scores an uploaded CV against applicant tracking systems, flags missing keywords and lists prioritised fixes with the points each would add. A CV builder walks through six sections with live preview, backed by 42 templates, twelve of them free. The cover letter tool reads your CV and a pasted advert, then writes a letter through one of seven layouts and six tones, including a Smart tone that weighs the advert and the employer's culture. Job matching extracts your job title, skills, education and town, normalises titles through the JobTech Taxonomy, filters on commuting distance and ranks openings from Arbetsförmedlingen and JobTech by percentage fit. A career coach chat answers questions on pay, interviews and employment law with clickable citations to Arbetsförmedlingen, SCB, trade unions, Försäkringskassan, CSN and Skatteverket, and it can read your saved CV and letters as context. Aptitude test practice covers matrix logic, verbal and numerical reasoning across six packs. LinkedIn optimisation rewrites five profile sections by copy-paste, never by logging in. Ten free calculators cover net pay, notice periods and holiday compensation.
A separate strand at /for-rekryterare serves recruiters, who search an anonymised candidate pool with verified test percentiles and a work-style report built from 120 questions. Names surface only once the candidate accepts contact, and companies sign a data processing agreement first.
Around the tools sits a large free library: 138 articles, a hundred CV examples, a hundred letter examples and 75 role-specific templates, signed by three editorial bylines. Access is split between a permanent free tier with daily quotas and a single Premium tier at 149 SEK a month.
Generation runs on the OpenAI API, storage on Supabase, payments through Stripe. The About page says the product started life as cvbrev.se and was renamed in winter 2024, though the site dates its own beginnings only by year and the current domain was not registered until April 2025.

When to use Jobbcoach.ai / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Jobbcoach.ai is the right fit.
When to use Jobbcoach.ai
- Swedish speakers applying to many roles at once and being filtered out by applicant tracking systems before a human reads them
- Career changers who need help arguing that past experience transfers to a new field
- Recent graduates writing their first professional CV and cover letters
- Candidates facing a logic, verbal or numerical aptitude test before meeting an employer
- Swedish recruiters who want to search a consent-based candidate pool with verified test scores rather than post another advert
When not to use Jobbcoach.ai
- Job seekers outside Sweden: matching only pulls listings from Arbetsförmedlingen and JobTech
- Anyone who does not read Swedish, since the interface, coach, templates and articles exist in no other language
- Recruiters or agencies wanting commercial use, which the terms restrict to personal, non-commercial job hunting
- Developers hoping to call this from their own software, as the announced API has still not shipped
- People unwilling to have the text of their CV sent to OpenAI for letter generation
How to use Jobbcoach.ai
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Open a free account with an email address and password, or start the seven-day Premium trial
- Strip sensitive personal data from your CV, which the publisher requires you to confirm at upload
- Upload the CV and read the ATS score with its ranked improvement suggestions
- Paste a job advert, pick a template and a tone, then generate the matching cover letter
- Review and edit the draft, because the terms disclaim any warranty on the output
- Activate your CV to switch on job matching and set your commuting radius
- Ask the career coach about pay, interviews or employment law and follow its source links
- Practise the aptitude tests at basic level, or advanced level on Premium
- Paste your LinkedIn sections in and copy the rewritten versions back
- Export the finished documents to Word or PDF, and cancel from your account whenever you like
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Genuinely localised rather than translated, drawing vacancies from Arbetsförmedlingen and JobTech and citing SCB, trade unions, Försäkringskassan, CSN and Skatteverket
- The free tier is a working product with daily quotas, not a teaser, and the site says many users never need to upgrade
- One readable price, 149 SEK a month including VAT, no lock-in and cancellation in a click
- Processors are named outright in the privacy policy instead of hidden behind a generic clause
- The site states plainly that CVs and letters are not used to train any model, and that data is held in the EU
- No account linking anywhere: LinkedIn and Arbetsförmedlingen are handled by copy-paste, so no password is ever shared
- On the recruiter side, candidates stay anonymous by default, consent is explicit and revocable, and the publisher refuses to rank people on personality, citing GDPR and the EU AI Act
Cons
- No legal identity is published anywhere: no company name, no legal form, no Swedish organisationsnummer, no postal address, so it is impossible to tell who you are contracting with
- Both legal documents are unfinished templates carrying eleven editorial placeholders, which leave the liability cap, the competent court, the backup policy and the security measures undefined
- The privacy policy and terms have not been revised since July 2024, while the product has grown considerably since
- No minimum age is published, for a service that processes job seekers' personal data
- The interface, coach and content exist only in Swedish, and matching only covers Swedish vacancies
- No mobile app and no browser extension; the help centre is still a placeholder page reading coming soon, and the About page's meet-the-team button points at a section that is not there
- An API was announced for the second quarter of 2026 and still does not exist, its advertised host not even resolving
Pricing & Plans
There is a permanent free plan priced at 0 SEK, described as free forever and limited by daily quotas rather than by a trial period. The cheapest paid entry point is the single Premium tier at 149 SEK per month, VAT included, billed through Stripe with no minimum commitment and cancellable at any time. A seven-day Premium trial is offered, and cancelling before the eighth day means nothing is charged. No annual rate is published. Separately, the recruiter-facing candidate pool is free for verified recruiters during its launch period, which the site presents as temporary rather than as a standing free plan.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Jobbcoach.ai handles your data.
GDPR overview
Concrete but visibly unfinished. The privacy policy and terms, both dated 27 July 2024, list the usual rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and name Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), the Swedish supervisory authority, as the complaint route. Processors are named outright: Supabase for the database, Stripe for payments, OpenAI for generation. Swedish law and Swedish courts govern disputes. The recruiter side requires companies to sign a data processing agreement and rests on explicit, revocable candidate consent. Against that, eleven editorial placeholders were never filled in across the two documents, leaving the analytics tools, the security measures, the backup policy, the liability cap and even the competent court undefined. No data protection officer, no Article 27 representative and no minimum age are stated anywhere.
Who owns the data?
The terms state you keep ownership of the CV you upload and of the letters generated from your input. In exchange you grant the publisher a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce and process that content, explicitly including sending it to AI services such as OpenAI, and that licence is bounded to providing and improving the service for you. Everything else on the platform, meaning the software, text, graphics, logos and what the terms call the underlying AI methodology, stays the publisher's property. Responsibility is pushed onto you: before uploading you must review your CV, strip sensitive personal data such as ID numbers, full address, ethnic origin and health information, and certify you have done so.
Reuse rights
You may reuse whatever you create without asking: the CV stays yours and the generated letters are yours to edit, export to Word or PDF and send to employers. The licence you grant runs the other way and is narrow, covering only delivery and improvement of the service for you, with no right for the publisher to sell your data or train models on it. Your own licence to use the platform is limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and is restricted to personal, non-commercial job seeking, so reselling output or scraping the service is out of bounds. The publisher disclaims any warranty that a generated letter is accurate or will produce an interview, and asks you to review and adapt every text before you send it.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The site asserts three times, on the pricing page, the About page and the recruiter page, that all data is stored in the EU, and pairs that claim with a general statement of GDPR compliance. Beyond the region, nothing is specified: no hosting country is named, no technical region is given, and the privacy policy says nothing about where Supabase holds the database. The same policy states that the text of your CV and the pasted job advert are sent to OpenAI's API for letter generation, without addressing how that fits the EU-only claim or naming any transfer safeguard. Payments run through Stripe, with no card data retained by the publisher. Observed infrastructure sits behind a Vercel front, whose IP geolocates to the United States, though that is an anycast edge and says nothing conclusive about where records rest. Swedish law governs the terms and the Swedish authority IMY is named for complaints.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Jobbcoach.ai.
- The site contradicts itself on the free trial: the homepage and features page promise that no credit card is required, while the pricing FAQ says card details are taken when the trial starts. Check what is actually asked of you before signing up.
- It also contradicts itself on sharing. The About page states that documents are never shared with third parties, yet the privacy policy describes sending your CV text to OpenAI and storing files with Supabase. Treat the policy as the binding text.
- You carry the risk on sensitive data. The publisher requires you to strip personal identity numbers, full address, ethnic origin and health information from your CV before uploading, and disclaims responsibility for anything you leave in that then reaches OpenAI.
- With no company name, organisationsnummer or postal address published, you have no practical way to enforce a right, escalate a complaint or even identify the counterparty behind the subscription.
- Letting a tool write your applications can erode the skill of arguing your own case. The terms themselves warn that outputs may be inaccurate and guarantee no interview, so every draft needs reading and reworking before it goes out.
- The media logos are misleading at a glance. The SVT, Sveriges Radio, DN and Kollega links point to general articles about AI in recruitment, not to coverage of this product, and SHL, Assessio, Cut-e and Teamtailor are named as market reference points with no partnership claimed.
- Optimising a CV to score well against applicant tracking systems can drift into writing for the filter rather than truthfully, which risks an interview you cannot live up to.
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. There is nothing to install and no integration to configure: the product runs in a browser, and an account needs only an email address and a password. The letter flow is a guided five-step sequence and the CV builder walks through six sections, with a first letter promised in under a minute. The one real piece of work falls on you rather than on the software, namely reviewing your CV and removing sensitive personal data before uploading, which the publisher requires you to confirm. Recruiters face a heavier path, with company verification and a signed data processing agreement before they get access.

Should you pick Jobbcoach.ai?
Jobbcoach.ai is a dense, well-localised product let down by how little it says about itself. On the functional side there is a lot to like: eight tools that genuinely work together, vacancies pulled from Arbetsförmedlingen and JobTech with titles normalised through the JobTech Taxonomy, a coach that cites Swedish public sources you can click through to, and aptitude test practice that most competitors leave out entirely. The commercial side is refreshingly plain, with one permanent free tier that is usable rather than decorative, one paid tier at 149 SEK a month including VAT, no lock-in and a seven-day trial. The privacy policy names its processors instead of hiding them, and the recruiter strand takes a deliberately restrictive line, refusing to rank candidates on personality and requiring a data processing agreement before access.
The reservations are serious and they are about governance rather than features. No legal identity is published anywhere on the site: no company name, no legal form, no Swedish organisationsnummer, no postal address. Both legal documents are visibly unfinished, carrying eleven editorial placeholders that leave the liability cap, the competent court and the backup policy undefined, and neither has been revised since July 2024. Several promises are still outstanding, including an API announced for a quarter that has already passed, a help centre that is only a placeholder, and a team section that does not exist. The site also contradicts itself on whether the trial requires a card.
For a Swedish speaker job hunting in Sweden, the free tier is worth trying on its own merits and the paid tier is modestly priced. Anyone who needs to know who they are contracting with should wait for the publisher to say.
