Xurrent
Xurrent is a unified SaaS service management platform combining ITSM, ESM, ITOM and incident response, with its Sera AI engine included at every tier. Built for mid-market and enterprise IT teams and for managed service providers.
What is Xurrent?
Xurrent is a SaaS service and operations management platform that its vendor calls ITxM: IT service management, enterprise service management, IT operations management and incident response in one product. The company was known as 4me until the rebrand announced on 5 September 2024.
Two product lines sit under the name. Xurrent ITSM covers service management proper; Xurrent IMR (Incident Management & Response) came from the acquisition of Zenduty in February 2025, while the status pages arrived with StatusCast in April 2024. The features page lists 28 functional modules, among them service desk, incident, problem, change and release management, CMDB and IT asset management, SLAs, projects and portfolios, SIAM, service continuity, IT financial management, time tracking, bookings, a web store, HR, facilities, MSP billing, a self-service portal, agile boards and analytics.
Running through all of it is Sera AI, the vendor's own engine. Xurrent describes three modes: embedded, where AI works in the background; assistive, where Sera AI Assist sits inside the ticket; and agentic, where autonomous agents and an MCP server take action. ITSM Agent Skills cover triage (duplicates, CI linking, incomplete tickets, impact), closure and knowledge; IMR Agent Skills handle alert noise reduction, postmortem drafting and status page automation. Nothing an agent writes publishes without human review, and every agent action is logged. Sera AI Studio lets administrators supply a 10,000-character custom instruction file and a golden set of up to 150 test scenarios before exposing the AI to users.
The commercial argument is that AI is included at every tier, with no token pools, no metered conversations and no extra SKU. Xurrent claims 91% of its customers run AI in production, better than 90% virtual agent accuracy, five times faster resolution and 80% fewer misrouted tickets; these are vendor figures, published without methodology.
Hosting is AWS only, in a processing region the customer chooses: the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Australia or the United States. An integrated iPaaS shipped in June 2026, included in every subscription. Analyst recognition in 2026 includes a Gartner Magic Quadrant ITSM placement as a Niche Player and a GigaOm Radar rating as Leader and Fast Mover.

- Connect external LLMs and automation frameworks through the built-in MCP server
- Extend service management to HR, Finance, Facilities and Legal
When to use Xurrent / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Xurrent is the right fit.
When to use Xurrent
- Mid-market and enterprise IT departments consolidating ITSM, incident management and status pages onto a single platform
- Managed service providers, who get dedicated licence tiers with per-tenant branding and licences shareable across clients
- SRE and on-call teams needing alert noise reduction, escalation policies, automated postmortems and ChatOps
- Organisations extending service management beyond IT to HR, Finance, Facilities and Legal through ESM
- Teams leaving ServiceNow, PagerDuty or Opsgenie, for whom Xurrent offers a PagerDuty migration tool and a contract buy-out
When not to use Xurrent
- Freelancers and very small teams: platform tiers are sized in tens to hundreds of users and there is no permanent free plan
- Buyers who need to budget from a published price list, since Xurrent ITSM is quote-only
- Anyone looking for a general-purpose AI assistant or a consumer chatbot rather than enterprise service management
- Non-English-speaking teams: no interface language list is published and the site, help centre and documentation are English only
- On-call teams that would outgrow the IMR Starter limits of 5 seats, one team, five integrations and community-only support
How to use Xurrent
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- For ITSM, start with a demo or a guided proof of concept through the Schedule a Demo page, as there is no self-service sign-up
- For incident management, sign up directly on the IMR portal and run the 14-day free trial, no credit card required
- Scope the rollout with Xurrent: the vendor claims a go-live in as little as four weeks, and one customer case cites three weeks for the core implementation
- Configure rather than code: adapt forms, workflows and dashboards without custom development
- Tune Sera AI in Sera AI Studio before exposing it to users, using custom instructions, a golden set of test scenarios and scoring of request templates and knowledge base
- Connect third-party tools through the standard integration catalogue, the bundled iPaaS or the developer API (GraphQL, REST, webhooks, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, SAML/OpenID Connect)
- Migrate on-call teams, schedules and policies from PagerDuty using the migration tool provided
- Set up administration: roles and permissions, password policy, enforced MFA, session timeout, attachment extension whitelist and authentication logs
- Roll out the iOS and Android apps for request submission and tracking, approvals and push notifications
- Train the teams through the learning portal, the community, the help centre and the developer portal
Pros & Cons
Pros
- AI is included at every tier with no token pools or metered conversations, and Xurrent claims 91% of its customers run it in production
- A genuinely unified platform: ITSM, ESM, ITOM, incident management and status pages under one workflow
- A solid security and compliance base: ISO 27001, ISO 27018, SOC 2 Type II, a C5 attestation through Deloitte, BYOK and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification
- Data residency chosen by the customer, with the vendor stating that Customer Data never leaves the selected processing region and is never used to train models
- Openness: a documented developer API (GraphQL, REST, SCIM, webhooks, OAuth), an MCP server and an iPaaS included in the subscription
- Human oversight is wired in: AI-drafted knowledge articles never publish automatically and every agent action is logged
- Concrete migration offers, with a PagerDuty migration tool and a buy-out of existing PagerDuty or Opsgenie contracts
Cons
- No public ITSM pricing, so comparing or budgeting means going through a salesperson
- No permanent free plan; ITSM offers only a guided proof of concept or a sandbox environment
- The headline impact figures (91% adoption, 5x, 80%, 75%) are vendor claims, published without any methodology
- Content inherited from Zenduty has not been harmonised: the IMR pricing FAQ still describes a 'Free plan' for 5 users that the price grid does not offer, and quotes a 10-user Starter limit against the 5 seats shown in the grid
- Part of the IMR documentation still points to zenduty.com, a sign that the product integration is unfinished
- The Status Page add-on on the Growth tier costs USD 10,000 per year, a steep jump from a 14 to 16 USD per user per month subscription, and SMS and call quotas fall from 100 to 25 per user per month outside the USA, Canada and India
- The dedicated GDPR page is dated 25 May 2018 and has not been revised since, while the Trust Center and the subprocessor list render only through JavaScript, with no static version to consult
Pricing & Plans
There is no permanent free plan. Xurrent states explicitly that it does not currently offer a freemium version of ITSM, although a guided proof of concept or a sandbox environment can be requested. Public pricing exists only for the Incident Management & Response line, whose entry point is USD 6.00 per user per month billed monthly, or USD 5.00 per user per month billed annually, the vendor advertising savings of up to 16% on annual billing. A 14-day free trial of IMR is available without a credit card. Xurrent ITSM is quote-only: the vendor states that it does not publish pricing for its licence plans because each is tailored to the individual organisation's needs, so the entry price above reflects the IMR line alone and not the flagship product. The ITSM FAQ adds that there are no implementation fees and no surprise module costs, and that overages carry no penalty, accounts being adjusted with the account manager instead.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Xurrent handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed explicitly, on a dedicated compliance page, though that page is dated 25 May 2018 and shows no later revision. Concrete measures do exist: a downloadable Data Processing Addendum (version 27), a subprocessor list published through the Trust Center, and a Data Protection Officer reachable by post in Austin, Texas, and at privacy@xurrent.com. Xurrent, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, with the Federal Trade Commission as supervisory authority and free recourse through JAMS arbitration. Product features back this up: anonymisation for right-to-be-forgotten requests, customer-defined retention, anonymous login for whistleblowing, and an audit trail. No Article 27 EU representative is designated. The privacy policy takes effect on 10 June 2026; the terms of use were updated on 14 August 2026.
Who owns the data?
Xurrent's security documentation states plainly that customers own the data they store in the service and are free to export it at any time. Xurrent classifies itself as a data processor with respect to customer data, and as a data controller for account data and website visitors; the customer remains the controller of its own Customer Data. Xurrent says it does not sell, rent or trade Customer Data. Individuals wanting to exercise rights over data held in the service must approach the customer, not Xurrent. One caveat: in a merger, acquisition or bankruptcy, personal data may sit among the assets transferred.
Reuse rights
Customers keep control of their own data. They can export it at any time and they define their own rules for storing, accessing, modifying, deleting, sharing and retaining Customer Data, without asking Xurrent's permission. On the vendor's side the declared uses are narrow: providing, maintaining and improving the service, handling security or support incidents, complying with the law, and whatever the customer authorises in writing. Xurrent states it never uses Customer Data, or information derived from it, for marketing or advertising, and that no special categories of sensitive data are collected. AI interactions are said to stay inside the tenant, running on AWS Bedrock with strict isolation and never feeding model training. Website visitor data is a separate matter: cookies, web beacons, HTML5 local storage and server logs serve site improvement, marketing measurement, technical diagnostics, responses to enquiries and event billing, and Do Not Track signals are not honoured for want of an agreed standard. Aggregated or anonymised data falls outside the scope of the policy.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Xurrent hosts exclusively on AWS and states that it has no physical access to the data centres. All Customer Data stays within the processing region the customer selects: the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Australia or the United States. The vendor says it prohibits any storage or transfer of Customer Data outside that region, while other information, such as account data and marketing logs, may be transferred to the United States. Within the chosen region, data is replicated across several distinct physical locations, with daily and weekly backups held in the primary region and a restoration test every six months. Everything is encrypted at rest, including databases, search indexes, files, memory caches, logs, backups and disks, and TLS 1.3 is used internally. External audits underpin the ISO 27001 and ISO 27018 certifications, the SOC 2 Type II report available on request and the C5 attestation. Note that the marketing website's own IP address resolves to Dublin, Ireland, on Amazon infrastructure; that describes the public site, not necessarily where a given tenant's service runs.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Xurrent.
- ITSM pricing is never published, so budget for a sales negotiation and expect a like-for-like comparison with competitors to be difficult
- The IMR pricing FAQ still describes a 'Free plan' for 5 users that the grid does not offer, and gives a 10-user Starter limit against the 5 seats actually sold; confirm what you are buying before signing
- The Status Page option on the Growth tier is billed at USD 10,000 per year, entirely separate from the per-seat subscription
- SMS and voice call quotas are geographically uneven, at 100 per user per month in the USA, Canada and India against only 25 in the rest of the world
- The processing region is chosen at go-live, so check this point before contracting if GDPR obliges you to keep data within the EEA
- Part of the IMR documentation still points to zenduty.com and the dedicated GDPR page has not been updated since 2018, while the Trust Center and subprocessor list render only through JavaScript, which makes archiving them as static evidence awkward
- The vendor's impact figures come without published methodology, and leaning too readily on AI triage, closure and knowledge drafting can dull an analyst's own diagnostic habits; keep the human review steps Xurrent builds in as real checks rather than rubber stamps
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Moderate, and lighter than comparable enterprise suites. Xurrent works by configuration rather than customisation: forms, workflows and dashboards are adapted without code, and the vendor contrasts its four-week go-live with six-month scripted implementations. IMR is genuinely self-service, with sign-up and a trial that needs no credit card. ITSM is not, since a demo or guided proof of concept is required. The real effort concentrates on tuning Sera AI in Sera AI Studio before exposing it to users, and on connecting systems, though a standard catalogue, a bundled iPaaS and a PagerDuty migration tool reduce that work.

Should you pick Xurrent?
Xurrent positions itself as an alternative to the ServiceNow-plus-PagerDuty pairing for mid-market organisations and managed service providers, and the pitch is coherent: one platform where ITSM, enterprise service management, IT operations and incident response share a single workflow, with Sera AI woven through every layer.
The main differentiator is commercial rather than technical: AI is included at every tier, with no token pools and no metered conversations. Underneath sits a serious compliance base, with ISO 27001 and ISO 27018, SOC 2 Type II, a C5 attestation, BYOK, EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification, and data residency in a processing region the customer picks; the vendor states that Customer Data never leaves that region and is never used to train models. Human oversight is designed in rather than promised, since AI-drafted knowledge articles do not publish on their own and every agent action is logged.
Two reservations deserve weight. Pricing is opaque: only the IMR line publishes rates, so the flagship ITSM product cannot be assessed on cost without a sales conversation. And the Zenduty acquisition is not fully absorbed, as the IMR pricing FAQ still describes a free plan the grid does not offer, seat limits contradict each other, and part of the documentation still points at zenduty.com. The dedicated GDPR page has not been revised since 2018.
Analyst recognition is recent but measured: Gartner places Xurrent in its 2026 ITSM Magic Quadrant as a Niche Player, not a Leader, while GigaOm rates it a Leader and Fast Mover. Read the impact figures on the homepage as vendor claims, and test them in a proof of concept before committing.
