Overview

What is Zoviz?

Zoviz is an AI branding and marketing platform operated by Kaya Smart LLC, a Delaware company with a New York address. The entry point is deliberately plain: type a business name, describe the style you have in mind, and the engine returns logo directions you can refine. What separates the pitch from most logo generators is the claim that nothing comes from a template or a recycled icon pack, the icons being drawn and reviewed by a design team, then customized by AI.

The output is where the platform earns its keep. A finished logo downloads in more than thirty high-resolution file types, including SVG, PNG, EPS and PDF, with black, white, color and transparent-background variants, and no watermark. Validating a logo automatically triggers a brand kit: business cards, letterheads, email signatures, social covers, a favicon, posters, flyers and a brand book, all styled from the same palette and typography.

Around that core sits a wider toolbox. The AI image tools cover generation, editing, background removal, object removal, upscaling, product photography and sketch-to-image. Business tools add a business name generator, a slogan generator, a color palette generator, a document translator and AI presentations. Zoviz Marketing Studio and AI Canvas run on monthly credits and produce ads, social posts, thumbnails, videos and ad copy. A website builder with a custom domain, a link-in-bio page and a digital business card cover the web presence side.

Language coverage is unusually broad for this category: the interface exists in twelve languages, and dedicated logo generators handle Arabic, Turkish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Indonesian, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. The catalog is sorted by industry, from food, beauty and fashion to tech, real estate, sports, health, e-commerce, logistics, music and events, and by style, from 3D and minimalist to mascot, monogram, retro and geometric.

Developers get a single REST API exposing eight services behind one key and one credit pool, plus an MCP server at mcp.zoviz.com. iOS and Android apps stay in sync with the web account. Zoviz claims a 4.8/5 rating, over a million users, more than three million logos generated and a presence in over a hundred countries, all figures published by the site itself.

What it does

  • Generate a vector logo from a business name and a few keywords
  • Produce a full brand kit: business cards, letterheads, email signatures, favicon and brand book
  • Build and publish a website, a link-in-bio page and a digital business card
  • Create on-brand ad visuals, videos, YouTube thumbnails and ad copy
  • Edit images: remove backgrounds, delete objects, upscale, turn sketches into images, stage product shots
  • Translate documents while preserving the original layout
  • Call the same services from your own app through the REST API, or from an AI assistant through MCP

When to use Zoviz / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Zoviz is the right fit.

When to use Zoviz

  • Solo founders and micro-businesses that need a complete visual identity in minutes, without hiring a designer
  • Freelancers and small agencies juggling several client brands, with up to 5 brands on Pro and 15 on Business
  • Businesses branding in non-Latin scripts, with dedicated generators for Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Turkish
  • Marketing teams producing recurring social content that has to stay on brand automatically
  • Developers who want image generation and editing inside their own app through the REST API, or inside an AI assistant through MCP

When not to use Zoviz

  • Companies commissioning a high-stakes, made-to-measure identity that needs human art direction and territory research
  • Anyone expecting legal protection: Zoviz states that possessing a logo file does not constitute trademark registration
  • Buyers who may want to change the icon later, since the icon is locked once the logo is purchased and the license is tied to the registered business
  • Organizations processing sensitive data: the DPA excludes special categories, payment card data, precise geolocation and data on children under 16
  • Teams that want to use a logo before paying for it, which the terms forbid

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • The whole chain, logo then brand kit then website then marketing content, sits in one tool that restyles everything to the same brand automatically
  • Print-ready vector output in SVG, EPS and PDF, with no watermark, which is uncommon at this price level
  • Native support for non-Latin scripts, with dedicated generators for Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Turkish
  • You can design, preview and edit for free and only pay at download, so evaluating the tool costs nothing
  • Purchased assets carry a lifetime commercial license with no recurring royalty
  • Genuine developer access: one REST API and an MCP server sharing the same credit pool
  • A detailed and current DPA (v1.0, 31 August 2026) with Standard Contractual Clauses, UK Addendum, a named subprocessor list and a contractual no-training commitment

Cons

  • The site contradicts itself on the business model: /faq, /licensing and /refund-policy describe a one-off lifetime payment with no refund, while /pricing sells a monthly or annual subscription with a 30-day guarantee
  • Credit quotas disagree within the pricing page itself, 300/800/2000 on the cards, 200/600/2500 in the comparison table and 100/250/900 in the FAQ, and Business seats are 'up to 50' on the cards but 'up to 10' in the table
  • No public API documentation: developer.zoviz.com simply redirects to the /api marketing page
  • The icon can no longer be changed once the logo has been bought
  • No trust or security page of Zoviz's own, and the ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2 attestations quoted belong to Azure, the host
  • The consumer privacy policy is heavily cookie-focused, with no dedicated GDPR section and no detailed retention periods
  • Neither a minimum age of use nor a company founding date is published, and the help center sits on help.zoviz.com, off the main domain

Pricing & Plans

Zoviz can be used at no cost for design work: generating, previewing and editing a logo is free, and several AI tools, among them the upscaler, the background remover, the object remover and the image generator, have free versions; payment is triggered when the high-resolution files are downloaded. The lowest paid entry point is USD 29 per month for the Starter plan, or USD 199 per year. Pro is USD 49 per month or USD 339 per year, and Business USD 99 per month or USD 699 per year, with an announced annual discount of 43%. Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Zoviz handles your data.

GDPR overview

GDPR compliance rests on a data processing addendum (v1.0, effective 31 August 2026) that is incorporated automatically, without signature, and is written to satisfy Article 28(3). It also covers the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, the Swiss FADP and US state laws including CCPA/CPRA. Transfers rely on the 2021/914 Standard Contractual Clauses, modules 2 and 3, the UK Addendum B1.0 and a Swiss adaptation. Zoviz commits to assisting with data subject requests, with Articles 32 to 36, with the Article 30(2) record, breach notification, cooperation with supervisory authorities and audits capped at once a year; the product itself lets users retrieve, correct, export and delete. Two limits: Zoviz appoints no EU representative under Article 27 for itself, and the consumer-facing privacy policy never mentions the GDPR, so the entire framework sits in the DPA.

Who owns the data?

Zoviz splits ownership in two. Under section 5 of the terms, business names, trademarks and other intellectual property arising from the content you supply remain your exclusive property. Under section 4, the platform itself, its software, images, text, graphics and Zoviz's own logos, stays Zoviz's. Once a logo is purchased, the licensing page states that you hold copyright over it for the lifetime of the business, with full commercial use and no royalty, although you cannot claim ownership of isolated elements such as individual symbols or fonts unless the whole is original. For personal data, the DPA makes Zoviz a processor acting on the customer's instructions, and the customer stays responsible for the lawfulness of what it submits.

Reuse rights

Purchased assets can be reused without asking again: the lifetime commercial license covers one registered brand, carries no royalty and imposes no further permission, the icon being the only element that can no longer be altered. On Zoviz's side, the privacy policy lists service delivery, account information, contract performance, improvement of the site and services, and marketing as purposes, and allows disclosure to service providers and authorities, plus unrestricted use of aggregated data. Advertising cookies may link sign-up data to browsing data for targeted advertising, with consent. The DPA is stricter: processing follows the customer's documented instructions only, and clause 4.6 forbids Zoviz and its subprocessors from training, retraining or fine-tuning general-purpose AI or machine learning models on customer personal data without prior written consent, while aggregated or de-identified data may be used to operate, secure and improve the service. Annex I confirms that automated analysis by AI models is part of how assets are generated and edited.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Delete your account from the settings and the account, together with all associated logo files, is permanently erased after 14 days; during that window it can still be restored. A deletion request sent by email is handled within 30 days, after identity verification. On the business side, the DPA says data is deleted or returned within 90 days of the end of the contract, a return being requestable within 30 days; backup copies follow the standard backup cycle and stay isolated from any processing until then, and data may be kept longer only where the law requires it, and only for that purpose. Application logs are kept for 90 days. Outside account deletion, the consumer privacy policy publishes no general retention periods.

Hosting summary

Zoviz is established in the United States and processes customer data there (DPA 9.1). The services run on Microsoft Azure, in data centers holding ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2 attestations, which are the host's certifications rather than Zoviz's own. Annex III names the subprocessors: Microsoft Corporation for Azure in the United States, Cloudflare Inc. for the global edge network with US headquarters, Stripe Inc. in the United States with Stripe Payments Europe Ltd in Ireland handling EEA customers, and third-party AI model providers in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 or above and at rest with AES-256, using keys managed by the cloud provider. Transfers out of the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are covered by the 2021/914 Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum B1.0 and the Swiss FADP adaptation. In short, a US jurisdiction with a documented transfer framework, and a single European touchpoint that concerns billing only.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Zoviz.

  • The business model is described two ways depending on the page: a monthly or annual subscription on the pricing page, a one-off lifetime payment on the FAQ, licensing and how-it-works pages. Ask for written confirmation before paying
  • Refunds follow the same split: a 30-day money-back guarantee on the pricing page, no refunds on the refund policy and FAQ pages except for an asset that does not match the preview or for corrupted files, claimed within 48 hours
  • AI credit quotas differ within the pricing page itself, 300/800/2000, 200/600/2500 and 100/250/900 depending on where you look, and Business seats are 'up to 50' on the cards but 'up to 10' in the comparison table
  • The icon cannot be changed after purchase and the license is tied to the registered business it was bought for, so a rename or a pivot can leave you stuck
  • Owning the logo file is not a trademark registration, as Zoviz states itself; a generated mark can still collide with someone else's rights, and leaning on a shared engine makes look-alike identities more likely, so check availability before committing
  • The ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2 certifications quoted are those of Microsoft Azure data centers, not attestations held by Zoviz
  • The consumer privacy policy publishes no general retention periods, only the DPA does, and the three contact addresses are hidden behind Cloudflare obfuscation, so they cannot be read directly from the page
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low for ordinary use: no technical skill is required, you type a business name and follow guided choices, with a claimed five minutes to a finished logo. An account is mandatory, by email or Google. Publishing a website with a custom domain starts on the Pro plan and calls for basic DNS familiarity. The API route is standard developer work: create an account, buy credits, obtain a Bearer key, call the REST endpoints. The MCP route is lighter still, adding a remote connector and approving an OAuth device flow inside your AI client.

Conclusion

Should you pick Zoviz?

Zoviz sells a complete branding chain to people who have neither a designer nor an agency budget, and on the production side it delivers. The vector output is genuinely usable: SVG, EPS and PDF, watermark-free, with the monochrome and transparent variants a printer will ask for. The brand kit that follows a validated logo removes days of derivative work. Non-Latin scripts get dedicated generators rather than an afterthought. And the REST API plus MCP server put the same image tools inside your own app or your AI assistant, which few tools in this bracket offer.

The weak point is not the product, it is the documentation. Two generations of content coexist on the site: recent product pages describing a monthly or annual subscription with a 30-day guarantee, and older FAQ, licensing and refund pages describing a one-off lifetime payment with no refunds. The pricing page even contradicts itself on AI credits, quoting three different sets of numbers, and on Business seats. There is no public API documentation, and no security page of Zoviz's own: the ISO 27001 and SOC attestations quoted are Azure's.

The legal framing is uneven in the same way. The DPA is detailed and current, covering Article 28(3), Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum, the Swiss FADP, a named subprocessor list and a commitment not to train models on customer data. The consumer privacy policy, by contrast, is mostly about cookies and never mentions the GDPR.

Zoviz is operated by Kaya Smart LLC, a Delaware company with a New York address, described as bootstrapped by third-party trackers. Before paying, get written confirmation of what you are actually buying, a subscription or a one-time license, because the site does not settle the question.
