The platform ingests any event or log data in text or JSON, structured or unstructured, which Logmind summarises as anything a human can read. Customer systems stream their data onto a Kafka topic, and parsing pipelines turn raw lines into structured documents without the customer writing rules or thresholds. Machine learning then detects anomalies, correlates logs, metrics and alerts, maps service dependencies and filters noise, while generative AI adds contextual understanding, infers likely root causes and suggests remediation steps in plain language.
Findings surface as insights, grouped into insight groups that each carry an AI-generated title, root cause and remediation procedure. Teams can search raw logs in natural language, in Logmind Query Language or in SQL, break incidents down by field or over time, build real-time dashboards and custom visualisations, and export reports. Alerts route to email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, ServiceNow or PagerDuty, so an insight can become a ticket. Comments, status tracking and role-based permissions keep an investigation shared across the team, and a documented REST API with SAML single sign-on lets the whole platform be driven programmatically.
Four use cases are presented: infrastructure, network, applications and security, on-premise and in the cloud. Version 3, released in August 2026, added a redesigned Operations Overview, visual data-processing pipelines and an AI assistant called Modu. The platform runs on Microsoft Azure, stores data in Switzerland or Europe, and was the only non-US solution named in Gartner's 2025 log analytics market guide.

GDPR overview
There is no mention of the GDPR anywhere on Logmind's public site. A search of the full archived text and HTML of every page collected returns no occurrence of GDPR or RGPD, and none of the Swiss FADP either. The privacy policy, last revised on 4 November 2025, was produced with the privacypolicies.com generator: it contains no data-subject rights section, no legal basis for processing, no designated data protection officer and no Article 27 representative. No data processing agreement is published or offered, and no subprocessor list exists; only Google Analytics is named, and only for the website. Logmind is a Swiss company, so it falls primarily under Swiss data protection law rather than the GDPR, but the site never draws that distinction. Buyers with regulatory obligations should expect to obtain these commitments contractually.
Who owns the data?
Logmind's published documents do not settle who owns customer log data. The terms of use state only that Logmind Ltd and its licensors hold the intellectual property rights over the website and its material; they say nothing about the events and logs a customer streams into the platform. The privacy policy, last revised on 4 November 2025, is written for the website alone: it lists the personal data gathered through forms and cookies and names Google Analytics as a provider. Anyone signing a contract should therefore expect ownership, licence and deletion terms to be settled in a separate commercial agreement, because the public documents do not address them.
Reuse rights
The public documents describe what Logmind does with data rather than what a customer may do with it. It may disclose data to comply with a legal obligation, defend its rights or property, investigate possible wrongdoing, protect people's safety or guard against legal liability. Data belonging to users located outside Switzerland is transferred to Switzerland and processed there. Logmind is a Swiss company and presents Swiss hosting as a selling point, stating that data is kept securely in Europe or Switzerland according to the customer's requirements. The platform has run on Microsoft Azure since August 2024, and Logmind points to Azure's support for local data residency as the reason it can make that commitment. The privacy policy adds that data from users located outside Switzerland is transferred to Switzerland and processed there. Beyond this, the published detail is thin: no Azure region or datacentre is named, no subprocessor list exists, and no hosting or security certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is displayed.
