publy.ch
Swiss AI platform that reads a company's brand from its website URL, then generates on-brand social posts, carousels, stories and ad creatives, schedules them in a calendar and publishes them straight to Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook.
What is publy.ch?
publy.ch is a Swiss software-as-a-service platform that turns a company website into a stream of ready-to-publish social media content. It is built and run by KBX GmbH, a limited liability company entered in the commercial register of the canton of Lucerne on 11 November 2025.
The whole product is organised around one idea: the brand profile. You paste the URL of your website and the platform extracts logo, colour palette, typefaces, imagery and tone of voice in under a minute. Everything generated afterwards inherits that profile, so visual identity is settled once instead of post by post.
Twelve documented tools then cover the workflow. A one-click designer turns a written idea into a finished visual. A carousel builder produces two to nine slides with a cover-plus-body layout in two design systems. An ad creator takes a product photo and returns advertising creatives in square, vertical and landscape formats for Meta and Google campaigns. A template editor works in a fast mode and a detailed mode, next to a library of more than 500 templates sorted by format, occasion and industry, with seasonal sets. A gallery keeps every generated image, filterable by platform, date, carousel group or A/B variant.
Publishing is built in. Official OAuth connections cover Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and Facebook, several accounts per platform, and a drag-and-drop calendar schedules posts immediately, at a chosen time, or at the moment the AI recommends. The monthly planner composes a whole month — roughly twenty posts and thirty-two images at five posts a week — which you review before scheduling it all in one click.
Usage is metered in credits: one credit per generation. Basic includes fifty a month, Pro one hundred; manual editing costs nothing. The product runs in the browser, with an installable progressive web app, and there is no public API and no native mobile application. The interface exists in German, English, French and Italian, and prices are quoted in Swiss francs excluding VAT — a deliberate stance against the English-language, dollar-priced tools it compares itself with.
What it does
- Build a complete brand profile from a single website URL in under a minute: logo, colours, fonts, imagery, tone of voice
- Generate a finished on-brand visual from a one-line idea, at a cost of one credit per variant
- Produce two-to-nine-slide carousels with a cover slide and a consistent reading layout
- Turn a product photo into a series of ad creatives in square, vertical and landscape formats for Meta and Google
- Plan a full month of content, one to seven posts a week, and review every post before it goes out
- Publish automatically to Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook through official OAuth connections
- Create and reuse your own templates, on the Pro plan
When to use publy.ch / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if publy.ch is the right fit.
When to use publy.ch
- Owners of small Swiss and DACH businesses who post regularly but have neither a designer nor time to spend on each post
- Solopreneurs and freelance marketers who need brand-consistent output without rebuilding a brand kit for every campaign
- Marketing leads in small teams looking to replace a Canva plus scheduler plus stock-image stack with one subscription
- Local service businesses with a dedicated industry page on the site: restaurants, beauty salons, gyms, dental and medical practices, estate agents, trades, hotels, law and accounting firms
- E-commerce and retail managers who need Meta and Google ad creatives in several formats for quick A/B testing
When not to use publy.ch
- Anyone who needs an API: publy.ch exposes none, so programmatic use or a custom pipeline is impossible
- Teams that want a native mobile app: the product is browser-only, with an installable progressive web app as the sole alternative
- Brands whose priority channels are TikTok, Pinterest or YouTube, since direct publishing only covers four networks
- Buyers looking for a permanent free tier: there is none, and even the three-day trial asks for a credit card up front
- Video-first creators, and organisations that require a signed data processing agreement or a security certification such as ISO 27001
How to use publy.ch
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Open an account from the start page and pick Basic or Pro; a credit card is required even for the three-day trial
- Enter your website URL and let the platform build your brand profile, which takes under a minute
- Review the extracted logo, colours, fonts and tone of voice, and adjust anything the extraction got wrong
- Connect your Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook accounts through the official OAuth flows, around three minutes
- For a one-off post, type your idea into the one-click designer and let the AI return a finished on-brand visual
- For a system, pick templates from the library or upload your own on the Pro plan
- Launch the monthly planner, choose one to seven posts a week, and let it generate the copy and the images
- Read through every generated post, adjust what needs adjusting, then schedule the whole month in one click
- Use the drag-and-drop calendar to move posts around, publish immediately or at the AI-recommended time
- If you would rather not set anything up, book the paid Done-For-You setup, which adds four custom templates and a 30-minute onboarding call
Pros & Cons
Pros
- The brand profile is built automatically from a website URL, where the competitors the site compares itself with all require a manual brand kit
- Creation, scheduling and publishing sit in one subscription instead of three separate tools
- Prices are quoted in Swiss francs with Swiss VAT, which makes invoices usable for a Swiss company
- The interface exists in four languages — German, English, French and Italian — on a segment dominated by English-only products
- A named table of fifteen sub-processors is published, with purpose, data categories and location for each
- Legal documents are complete, dated 8 July 2026, available in four languages, with the legal basis given article by article
- The publisher is verifiable in the open Swiss commercial register: seat, directors and shareholders are all public
Cons
- There is no permanent free plan, and even the three-day trial asks for a credit card before it starts
- No public API and no native mobile app, so the product cannot be automated or used outside a browser
- Direct publishing is limited to four networks although the platform generates TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube formats
- Credits are capped at fifty or one hundred a month, so the real cost depends on volume rather than on the subscription alone
- The homepage claims that all customer data is stored exclusively on European infrastructure, while the publisher's own sub-processor table puts eleven of fifteen providers in the United States
- Training of AI models on customer data is never addressed: there is neither a commitment not to train nor an opt-out
- No customer-facing data processing agreement, no Article 27 GDPR representative, and no security certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2
Pricing & Plans
There is no free plan. Both paid plans open with a three-day free trial that requires a credit card at sign-up, and billing starts only once the trial ends. The entry price is CHF 39 per month for the Basic plan, excluding Swiss VAT, which includes 50 content credits a month. Paying annually brings Basic down to CHF 32 per month, invoiced once at CHF 388 a year, roughly two months free. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how publy.ch handles your data.
GDPR overview
The publisher states compliance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act, in force since 1 September 2023, and with the GDPR where applicable, and the homepage FAQ claims to be "fully GDPR compliant". The privacy policy is concrete: each purpose is matched with its legal basis (Art. 31 FADP / Art. 6 GDPR), seven data subject rights are listed, the supervisory authorities are named (FDPIC in Switzerland, the competent national authority in the EU), and a table of fifteen sub-processors gives purpose, data categories and location for each. Transfers outside Switzerland and the EU rely on standard contractual clauses and the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks. Two gaps are worth noting: no Article 27 representative is appointed although the publisher is established outside the EU, and no data processing agreement is offered to customers.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms of service, everything you upload — logos, images, texts — stays yours. You grant KBX GmbH only a non-exclusive licence limited to running the service: storing, processing and displaying your material. Rights over the content the platform generates for you belong to you, within the limits of applicable law, but the publisher explicitly disclaims any warranty that machine-generated output is lawful, accurate or free of third-party rights, and puts the duty to check before publishing on you. The platform itself, its software, its templates and its designs remain the property of KBX GmbH or its licensors.
Reuse rights
You can reuse what you generate without asking permission: the terms grant you the rights of use over generated content within the limits of the applicable law, and the whole point of the product is that you publish that content on your own channels. Two caveats are stated in the same clause. First, you must hold the rights to whatever you upload as source material. Second, the publisher gives no warranty on generated output — you are responsible for its legality and for any third-party rights it may touch, so a review before publishing is on you. On the other side of the relationship, the publisher's own use of your data is contractual and narrow: hosting, processing and displaying it so the service works. Analytics and marketing tracking are switched on only after explicit consent in the cookie banner, and the site says nothing at all about using customer data to train AI models.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The publisher is Swiss and names every provider it uses. The database, authentication, file storage and edge functions run on Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt), with a US-based control plane. Product analytics and session replay run on PostHog Cloud EU, also in Frankfurt, and only after explicit consent. Web hosting, the edge runtime and the logs are on Vercel in the United States with a global edge network, and AI generation goes to Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude and OpenAI, all US-based. Payments (Lemon Squeezy), transactional email (Resend), social publishing (bundle.social), product tours (Supademo) and internal tooling (Google Workspace, Slack) are US-based as well. Transfers outside Switzerland and the EU rely on the EU standard contractual clauses, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The homepage FAQ claims that all customer data is stored exclusively on European infrastructure. The sub-processor table published by the same company does not support that claim: eleven of the fifteen listed providers are in the United States.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting publy.ch.
- Brand-consistent output at scale can slide into sameness: if the monthly planner runs unchecked, a feed ends up visually correct and editorially empty, which audiences notice faster than brand guidelines do
- The publisher itself warns that AI-generated content carries no warranty of legality, accuracy or freedom from third-party rights — reviewing every post before it goes live is a duty the terms put on you, not on the tool
- Handing over publishing rights to four social accounts through OAuth means a scheduling error, a bad generation or a compromised account publishes on your behalf without a human in the loop
- The homepage claims all customer data is stored exclusively on European infrastructure, while the publisher's own sub-processor table lists eleven United States providers: read the table rather than the claim
- Nothing on the site says whether prompts, brand assets and generated content are used to train AI models, and no opt-out is documented; your brand material passes through Google, Anthropic and OpenAI in the United States
- Delegating design entirely erodes the in-house judgement that lets a team notice when a template no longer fits — worth keeping at least one human who still knows why the brand looks the way it does
- The three-day trial requires a credit card and rolls into a paid subscription, so an unnoticed trial becomes a charge; set a reminder rather than relying on the diary
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low, and deliberately so. There is nothing to install and no code: you create an account, paste your website URL, and the brand profile is built in under a minute. Connecting Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook through the official OAuth flows takes around three minutes according to the publisher, which puts the whole path from sign-up to a scheduled month at roughly fifteen minutes. No design skill is required — that is the product's central claim. For those who would rather not configure anything, a paid Done-For-You setup adds four custom templates and a 30-minute onboarding call.

Should you pick publy.ch?
publy.ch is a young product with an unusually clear idea. Its publisher, KBX GmbH, was registered only in November 2025 and the site's first web archive capture dates from January 2026, yet the platform is already complete and, more to the point, unusually well documented for its age: twelve features explained one by one, fifteen sub-processors named with their locations, and legal texts in four languages.
Its real distinguishing feature is the automatic brand profile. Every competitor the site lines itself up against — Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, Ocoya, Predis.ai — expects you to assemble a brand kit by hand. publy.ch reads one from your website URL and applies it to everything afterwards. Combined with pricing in Swiss francs, a four-language interface and a monthly planner that genuinely compresses a recurring chore, that makes it a defensible choice for a Swiss or DACH small business that posts regularly and wants to shrink its tool stack.
It is a poor choice for anyone who needs an API, a mobile app, direct TikTok publishing or a free tier — none of which exist. Two points deserve a question before signing: the homepage claims all customer data sits exclusively on European infrastructure while the publisher's own sub-processor table places eleven of fifteen providers in the United States, and the site is completely silent on whether customer content is used to train AI models. Neither is disqualifying, but both are worth an email to team@publy.ch before you upload a brand you care about.
