GoProfile
GoProfile is an Austrian SaaS platform that turns raw application documents into polished, branded candidate profiles for staffing agencies. Its AI parses, summarises and formats a submission-ready PDF in under 20 seconds, hosted entirely in the EU.
What is GoProfile?
GoProfile is a cloud platform published by Zerogap e.U. of Vienna, Austria, and reached at app.goprofile.ai. It does one job: it turns the raw pile of documents a candidate submits into a presentable candidate profile that a staffing agency can send straight to its client. The declared audience is the German-speaking staffing sector, the Personaldienstleister who place and second workers, plus the software vendors that serve them.
The workflow the site describes has three steps. Recruiters upload the application documents and their own notes; the AI parses everything and drafts a complete profile; the recruiter checks and completes the result in a live editor, then downloads a PDF. Beyond straight extraction, the tool writes a professional summary of the candidate, fixes spelling, translates, and handles layout work that normally eats time: page breaks, bullet lists, the agency logo, consistent structure across a team.
The headline claim on the German homepage is a profile in under 20 seconds against roughly 20 minutes by hand, which the vendor converts into more than five hours saved per recruiter per week. Other figures published there in August 2026 include 40,000+ profiles created, a 4.9 customer rating, 99.8% accuracy and more than 50 supported languages. These numbers are worth reading with care: the About page still says 20,000+ profiles and the English section says 10,000+ and 99.2%, so the site does not agree with itself.
Two further capabilities matter. Bulk creation handles a whole search project at once, one click starting parallel generation for every assigned candidate, with the finished profiles synced back into the agency's system. And a separate CV-parsing API is offered to ATS vendors, job platforms and public-sector employment services, available on request rather than through public documentation.
Three integrations are named, all DACH systems: HR4YOU eSearcher, Jeannie and Mentrix. The service runs under Austrian law, with terms dated March 2026.
What it does
- Turn uploaded application documents into a fully formatted candidate profile automatically
- Parse CVs and supporting files in more than 50 input languages
- Write a professional candidate summary and correct spelling without manual rewriting
- Refine the result in a live WYSIWYG editor before it leaves the office
- Apply agency branding and a chosen or bespoke best-practice template
- Generate profiles in bulk for an entire search project at once
- Sync finished profiles back into HR4YOU, Jeannie or Mentrix, or export them as client-ready PDFs
When to use GoProfile / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if GoProfile is the right fit.
When to use GoProfile
- Staffing and temporary-work agencies in the DACH region that send large volumes of candidate profiles to client companies
- Recruitment teams still retyping CVs into Word templates and chasing formatting inconsistencies across the team
- Agencies already running HR4YOU eSearcher, Jeannie or Mentrix that want profile creation inside their existing ATS
- ATS vendors, job platforms and public-sector employment services looking for a CV-parsing API to embed in their own software
- Buyers with strict GDPR requirements who need EU-only processing, a published Article 28 agreement and a short subprocessor chain
When not to use GoProfile
- Recruiters looking for candidate sourcing or matching: GoProfile formats submissions it is given, it does not find people
- Anyone wanting a permanent free tier, since only a time-limited trial is offered and every seat is billed monthly
- Teams needing mobile or offline access, as the product ships only as a web application and an API
- Buyers who expect transparent self-service pricing and instant sign-up, because entry runs through a form or a booked demo
- Organisations outside the German-speaking market, where the interface, contracts and integrations are least adapted
How to use GoProfile
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Book the 15-minute live demo through the Calendly link, or leave your details in the contact form: there is no self-service sign-up
- Agree commercial terms, after which Zerogap issues login credentials for the number of seats ordered
- Register a payment method within 14 days of activation, as the terms require
- Sign in at app.goprofile.ai and set up your agency branding and profile template, with setup and onboarding provided free of charge
- Upload a candidate's application documents and notes in any of the 50-plus supported input languages
- Let the AI parse the files and draft the complete profile, including the written summary
- Review and complete the draft in the live editor, where layout and text are shown as they will print
- Download the finished profile as a PDF and send it to your client, or sync it back into HR4YOU, Jeannie or Mentrix
- For whole search projects, run bulk creation for every assigned candidate at once, then check the results in a quick pass
- To embed CV parsing in your own software, describe your project in the form on the API page and wait to be contacted
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Measurable time saving on a genuinely repetitive task, with the vendor claiming 20 minutes of work reduced to 20 seconds
- GDPR posture well above the market average: a published Article 28 agreement, contractual EU/EEA-only processing and explicit audit rights
- A single named onward subprocessor, Hetzner in Germany, which keeps the processing chain short and legible
- Clear, single price where it is published, at EUR 59 per user per month with unlimited profile creation
- Month-to-month commitment with one month's notice, and free setup and onboarding
- Deliberate DACH specialisation, with integrations into ATS products agencies in the region actually run
- Branded PDF output that is ready to send to the client without further rework
Cons
- The official pricing page is empty although the terms cite it three times as the contractual rate card; the only public price sits on a partner integration page
- Usage figures contradict each other across the site: 40,000+ profiles on the homepage, 20,000+ on the About page, 10,000+ in the English section
- The free trial is advertised as 14 days on the homepage but defined as a one-month test phase in the terms
- Nothing on the site addresses AI model training on customer data, so there is no stated position and no opt-out
- No independent security certification, and the Article 32 measures are deferred to an unpublished annex
- No public API documentation and no published API pricing, only a request form
- Very small publisher: a sole-proprietor Austrian firm on a domain registered in March 2025, with no dedicated support address
Pricing & Plans
There is no permanent free plan. A free test phase is offered before commitment, advertised as 14 days on the homepage and defined as a one-month terminable contract in the terms. The lowest published price point is EUR 59 per user per month, excluding tax, with unlimited profile creation and free setup and onboarding included. Invoicing is monthly in advance, based on the seats activated on the first of the month, with mid-month additions charged pro rata. It should be noted that this figure appears on the HR4YOU integration page: the official pricing page carries no amount at all, and API pricing is not published.
- Free test phase before commitment (14 days per the homepage
- one terminable month per the terms)
- Single published tier at EUR 59 per user per month excluding tax
- including AI parsing and profile creation
- unlimited profile generation
- company branding
- individual profile configuration
- best-practice profile designs
- GDPR compliance and free setup and onboarding
- Individual quotations available
- based on an agreed number of users
- pricing not published
- available on request
Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how GoProfile handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is unusually well documented for a vendor this size. A full Article 28 processing agreement is published at goprofile.ai/auftragsverarbeitung, listing the data categories, the data subjects and the permitted processing operations. It guarantees processing exclusively within the EU/EEA, allows third-country transfers only with the customer's prior written consent under Articles 44 ff., and names a single onward subprocessor: Hetzner Online GmbH in Gunzenhausen, Germany. Subprocessor changes are announced one month ahead with a 14-day objection window. Breach notification under Articles 33 and 34 is promised without delay, and the customer's audit and inspection rights are explicit. Maximilian Zieger is named as the data-protection contact. Two gaps remain: the Article 32 technical and organisational measures sit in an unpublished annex, and no independent certification is claimed.
Who owns the data?
Customers keep their data. The terms state that all rights in uploaded and generated data remain with the users, who may demand its release or deletion at any time. Zerogap acts strictly as a processor under Article 28 GDPR: it may store the data, run it through the platform's AI functions on the customer's instructions, return it, and take backups. Anything beyond that list requires prior written instruction, and the contract states the provider performs no independent editing or manipulation of customer content. Zerogap retains ownership of the platform itself, including any enhancements, and grants only a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use for the contract term. Source code is never handed over.
Reuse rights
Within the platform, customers may use their own data freely: they upload application documents, edit the generated profiles in the live editor, export them as PDFs and send them to their clients without asking anyone's permission. The provider's own use is deliberately narrow. The processing agreement lists an exhaustive set of permitted operations, and the customer grants Zerogap only the right to duplicate data as far as delivery requires, including holding it in a failover data centre and altering data structures to fix faults. Customers must warrant that they are entitled to upload the personal data in question and must not upload special-category data under Articles 9 and 10 GDPR unless the platform explicitly provides for it. Notably, nothing on the site addresses whether customer data may feed AI model training, in either direction.

Hosting summary
The terms state that all stored and processed data remains within the European Union on GDPR-compliant servers, and that the platform runs on secured servers in the EU. The processing agreement goes further and warrants that processing takes place exclusively in the EU or EEA, with third-country processing allowed only after the customer's prior written consent and under Articles 44 ff. GDPR. One onward subprocessor is published: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, for server hosting and infrastructure. The exact hosting country is never named, only the subprocessor's German company address, so Germany can be inferred but not confirmed from the site. Data may also be held in a failover data centre. Backups are taken daily on a rolling weekday cycle, plus a weekly backup overwritten after four weeks. For reference, the marketing site itself resolves to a Hostinger server in Düsseldorf, which is separate from the application infrastructure.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting GoProfile.
- The published EUR 59 per user per month comes from a partner integration page while the contractual pricing page is empty, so confirm the rate that will actually apply to your configuration
- Trial length is stated as 14 days on the homepage and as one month in the terms; get the real duration in writing before you plan a pilot
- The site never states whether customer data may be used to train AI models, and offers no opt-out, which is a significant blind spot for a tool handling CVs and identity documents
- The privacy policy mentions possible transfers to Canada and the United States while the processing agreement guarantees EU/EEA-only processing; clarify which scope covers your data
- Article 32 technical and organisational measures are deferred to an unpublished annex and no independent certification exists, so security claims cannot be verified from outside
- Billing follows activated seats and the vendor may audit licences and charge retroactively, so seat hygiene has a direct cost
- Automatically generated summaries are persuasive by design: a recruiter who stops reading the underlying documents risks passing on errors, embellishments or bias with the agency's branding on them
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for the business user. GoProfile is pure SaaS reached in a browser at app.goprofile.ai, with nothing to install, and setup and onboarding are advertised as free. The vendor issues credentials after contract; adding further seats is self-service in the interface. A payment method must be registered within 14 days of activation. ATS integrations with HR4YOU, Jeannie or Mentrix are arranged with the vendor rather than self-configured. The API is a developer task with no public documentation and access granted on request.

Should you pick GoProfile?
GoProfile is a narrow tool that does one thing well: it removes the copy-and-paste work between a candidate's application documents and the profile a staffing agency sends to its client. For an agency shipping profiles all day, the arithmetic is easy to follow, and the vendor's claim of twenty minutes reduced to twenty seconds is the kind of saving that shows up in a week rather than a quarter.
Its second real strength is legal. A published Article 28 processing agreement, contractual EU/EEA-only processing, a single named subprocessor and explicit audit rights add up to a shorter, more legible data chain than most competitors offer, and that matters when the payload is CVs, identity documents and employment records.
The weakness is commercial transparency. The official pricing page is empty even though the terms treat it as the contractual rate card, so the only published price, EUR 59 per user per month, comes from a partner integration page. Usage figures disagree across the site, the free trial is quoted at two different lengths, and the privacy policy mentions transfers to Canada and the United States that the processing agreement excludes for customer data. None of this is fatal, but all of it needs settling in writing before signing.
The publisher is also very young and very small: a sole-proprietor Austrian firm on a domain registered in March 2025. That is not a disqualification, but it is a dependency worth weighing for a system that will hold candidate records.
The natural buyer is a DACH staffing agency already running HR4YOU, Jeannie or Mentrix, for which GoProfile slots into an existing workflow rather than replacing one. Outside that region, and outside that one task, the case is much weaker.
