ActionFlows AI is a no-code platform for building AI workflows by drag and drop. It chains around thirty model providers with APIs, databases and SaaS tools, then runs them on schedules, events or API calls.
What is ActionFlows AI?
ActionFlows AI is a no-code platform for designing, deploying and scheduling AI workflows, published by the British company Startbase LTD. Its promise is straightforward: let someone who does not write code assemble several AI models, third-party APIs and internal systems into a single automated process.
The product is organised into five blocks. ActionFlow is the visual drag-and-drop editor, where steps, logic and decision branches are laid out, inputs and outputs wired together, and the result previewed and iterated in real time. Automate covers the business side: multi-step processes that react to a trigger, analyse an input, decide and act — emails, reports, form processing, content generation. Schedule handles timing, with intervals, CRON rules, event triggers and chained schedules, and needs no external scheduler. API exposes flows through REST endpoints, webhooks, authentication protocols and SDKs, so an existing application can start a flow and read its output. Landings turns a flow into a branded, responsive public page with form fields, access controls and embedded results.
The model catalogue is the platform's main argument. Around thirty providers are connected natively, among them OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral AI, Google Generative AI and Vertex AI, Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Groq, Cerebras, Cohere, DeepSeek, Perplexity AI, xAI Grok, Replicate, Together AI, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, AssemblyAI and Fal AI, alongside OpenRouter and a generic OpenAI-compatible connector. Between them they cover language models, image generation and restoration, background removal, video enhancement and animation, speech recognition and synthesis, data extraction, translation, code generation, chatbots and agentic systems. Five Model Context Protocol servers — PostgreSQL, GitHub, GitLab, Google Drive and Slack — extend flows to internal systems.
Access is controlled per organisation, per workspace and flow by flow, and credentials are encrypted so that no other user can read them. Data sits in AWS data centres, in the US East region by default, with European, British and Asia-Pacific options chosen at sign-up. Published use cases run from generative AI, sales and customer support to data pipelines, education, IoT, finance, recruitment and architecture.

GDPR overview
The site addresses the GDPR concretely rather than in passing. The privacy policy sets out the legal bases relied on under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, and lists the rights available in the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Canada: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and freedom from purely automated decision-making. A Data Protection Officer is appointed and reachable at info@actionflows.ai. Affected users are notified within 72 hours of a breach. No automated process is said to produce legal effects under Article 22. A standard data processing agreement is supplied on request at legal@actionflows.ai. The company also claims certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. No Article 27 EU representative is named anywhere on the site. The policy is dated 11 May 2025.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms and conditions you keep every right to the content you submit — flows, configurations and data — and you stay responsible for it. Startbase LTD reserves the right, without any obligation, to monitor and edit user content, and it owns the platform's own material, which cannot be reused commercially without prior written consent. Feedback you send is the exception: you keep no intellectual property in it and the company may develop it freely. For personal data, Startbase LTD declares itself the data controller. The privacy policy adds that neither your uploaded data nor the flows you build are used to train any AI, and that its AI providers are contractually bound to the same commitment.
Reuse rights
You may reuse your own data without asking permission. You retain all rights to the content you put into the platform, and the privacy policy states that you can export it in structured formats, workflow designs and configurations included. Two limits apply. Material belonging to the platform itself may not be distributed, modified, copied, reposted or exploited commercially, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from Startbase LTD. And you remain responsible for holding the rights and permissions needed to route third-party data through your flows, and for complying with the terms of every service you connect. After cancellation the account is downgraded to the free plan and keeps its data with limited functionality; full deletion of the account and everything attached to it is done on written request by email.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Personal data is stored and processed in Amazon Web Services data centres. The default region is US East, in Virginia, and the customer can instead choose the European Union (Frankfurt), the United Kingdom (London) or Asia-Pacific (Singapore); the region is picked when the account is set up, and changing it afterwards requires an email request and may briefly interrupt the service. International transfers to countries with different data protection laws are acknowledged, with appropriate safeguards claimed, and the company states that it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. The publisher, Startbase LTD, is established in London, and the terms place arbitration and jurisdiction there. Security measures listed include daily database backups, encryption in transit and at rest, regular security testing and static code analysis, rate limiting and internal two-factor authentication. No subprocessor list is published; AWS, Stripe and Google Analytics are the only providers named in the policies.

- Plan names and scopes contradict each other between the terms and the pricing FAQ, making it hard to know exactly what you are buying
- Credits do not roll over from one billing cycle to the next, and going over your allowance means buying more
- The default data region is the United States: leaving that setting untouched at sign-up sends European data outside the EU, and changing it later can interrupt the service
- Flows depend on third-party APIs, and a provider changing its API or terms can silently break an automation you rely on
- You alone are responsible for the API keys, tokens and credentials placed in your flows, and liability is capped at whatever is lower between twelve months of fees and GBP 100
- Automating hiring or commercial decisions such as CV screening and lead scoring can entrench bias if a human stops reviewing the output

Technical difficulty
Low for a first workflow, moderate beyond that. No programming is required: the editor works by drag and drop, and the site says a simple flow can be built within minutes of signing up, helped by templates and guided wizards. The friction lies elsewhere. You supply your own API keys for the model providers and configure each credential, and the more useful setups — MCP servers, outbound API calls, webhooks, CRON rules — assume some technical literacy. No public documentation was reachable at review time, a real obstacle to self-service. Enterprise customers are offered onboarding assistance.

ActionFlows AI answers a real need: giving a marketer, an analyst or a founder the means to chain several AI models with their own tools, without waiting for a developer. On that ground the platform argues well. The catalogue of roughly thirty model providers is unusually broad for a young product, Model Context Protocol support is built in rather than promised, and the combination of a visual editor, CRON scheduling, a REST API and public Landings pages means a flow does not stay locked inside the tool. The data commitments are also more precise than average: customer data and flows are never used for training, that commitment is passed on contractually to the AI providers, the hosting region is chosen by the customer between the United States, Frankfurt, London and Singapore, a Data Protection Officer is named and uptime targets come with service credits.
The reservations concern transparency and maturity rather than the idea. The pricing page shows no figures whatsoever, and the only amounts published anywhere sit in section 4 of the terms and conditions, where they describe plans whose names do not match those in the pricing FAQ. The Documentation link leads nowhere, the template library and the careers page were empty at review time, no independent security certification or subprocessor list is published, and the blog stops in May 2025. The domain itself was only registered in January 2025.
The honest reading is that of a promising but young platform. It is a good fit for prototyping and for business automation where a free plan lets you judge for yourself. For an enterprise commitment, ask for the current price list, the scope of each tier and the API documentation in writing first.
