Okara
Okara is an AI CMO for solo founders and small teams: enter your website and ten specialised agents handle SEO, GEO, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, articles, UGC video and influencer outreach, drafting everything for your approval.
What is Okara?
Okara presents itself as an AI CMO: an artificial chief marketing officer running a team of ten specialised agents. The only thing it asks for is the URL of your website.
From that single input it works in three stages. First it researches your product and writes five strategy documents — product information, marketing strategy, competitor analysis, brand voice and content strategy. Every agent reads those before writing a word, which is how the platform keeps output on message. Then it executes channel by channel. The SEO agent audits your site and surfaces keyword gaps; the GEO agent works on getting your brand cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews; the Reddit and Hacker News agents find the right threads and draft contributions; the Writer agent produces long-form articles; the X and LinkedIn agents draft posts; the UGC agent builds video briefs and clips; the Coding agent opens pull requests carrying technical SEO fixes; the Influencer agent handles creator matching and payouts. Finally it publishes: approved work flows into WordPress, Webflow, Framer or Sanity, and out to LinkedIn and X. TikTok, Instagram and Slack are announced but not yet live.
Nothing publishes automatically. Okara frames this as a design choice rather than a limitation — agents draft and recommend, you review and approve. Analytics refresh every six hours across SEO health, technical checks, traffic from GA4 and Search Console, backlinks and AI visibility.
The pitch is economic. The site puts the equivalent human function at $14,000 a month across a marketing hire, an SEO agency, a content writer and a social media manager, and sells a subscription instead. A permanent free plan delivers the strategy documents, the SEO audit and X content without a credit card.
The publisher is Okara Technologies, Inc., described in the site's own llms.txt file as a Singapore-based team founded by Fatima Rizwan. The domain was registered in September 2025, so this is a young product, and its claim of 100,000+ users comes with no case study to support it.

When to use Okara / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Okara is the right fit.
When to use Okara
- Solo founders and two-to-three person startups with no marketing budget and no one thinking about distribution every day
- B2B SaaS and indie developers chasing early organic traction through SEO, Reddit and Hacker News rather than paid acquisition
- Digital agencies that want to serve more client accounts without hiring, using the tiered per-client pricing built for that case
- Local service businesses courted by dedicated landing pages: real estate agents, financial advisors, dental and medical practices, recruiters, restaurants and law firms
- E-commerce and content teams that need articles published straight into WordPress, Webflow, Framer or Sanity without a manual hand-off
When not to use Okara
- European buyers with a procurement checklist: the site never mentions the GDPR, offers no data processing agreement and names no Article 27 representative
- Teams that need programmatic access: there is no public API and no API reference anywhere in the site's 438 indexed URLs
- Anyone wanting a mobile app, since Okara ships as a web application only, with no iOS or Android release
- Marketers looking for paid media management, since Okara covers organic channels and produces ad creative but buys nothing
- Organisations that want fully hands-off publishing, because Okara deliberately requires human approval before anything goes live
How to use Okara
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Enter your website URL on the home page — no credit card is requested
- Let Okara scrape the site, build the strategy document, run the competitor analysis and complete a full SEO audit automatically
- Read the Agents Feed, where fresh opportunities and drafts land every day
- Connect Google Analytics and Google Search Console so the agents prioritise on real performance data, following the dedicated setup guides
- Connect your CMS — WordPress, Webflow, Framer or Sanity — so approved articles publish without a hand-off
- Connect X, LinkedIn and, if you want technical fixes, your GitHub repository
- Review, edit and approve each draft; nothing leaves the platform until you say so
- Optionally route drafts and reports to WhatsApp or Telegram to keep up without opening the dashboard
- Upgrade from Free to Paid in the billing settings when you need the full channel set — no reconfiguration is required
- Track results in the analytics tabs, refreshed every six hours
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Unusually broad channel coverage for a single entry-level subscription: SEO, GEO, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Hacker News, articles, UGC video, influencers and technical fixes
- The free plan is a working product rather than a countdown trial — strategy, SEO audit, recommendations and X content, with no credit card
- Human approval before publication is built in as a principle, not offered as a setting
- Public documentation is complete and current, with a page per agent and per integration
- A named, located and dated subprocessor list is published — rare at this price point
- Training on customer data is explicitly ruled out, and a Data Protection Officer is reachable
- The affiliate programme publishes its rate, attribution window, cookie and payout terms in full
Cons
- The terms of service belong to another product entirely — they describe a multi-model chat interface with file uploads, not a marketing agent
- The privacy policy contradicts the site's own subprocessor page on whether a third-party AI provider is involved
- No mention of the GDPR anywhere, no data processing agreement and no Article 27 representative
- The entry price is stated four different ways across first-party pages, and the agency page contradicts its own table
- Paid tiers do not render in the pricing page's HTML — the actual figures are only legible in llms.txt
- No public API and no mobile app, so Okara cannot be embedded in an existing workflow
- No postal address, no jurisdiction of incorporation and no contact page; e-mail is the only channel, and subscriptions are non-refundable by default
Pricing & Plans
A permanent free plan is available at no cost and without a credit card. The cheapest paid entry point is the AI CMO plan at USD 66.00 per month when billed annually, rising to USD 99.00 per month on monthly billing. Prospective buyers should note that the site quotes its entry price inconsistently: USD 129.00 per month appears on the affiliate page, and the agency schedule starts at USD 99.00 for a first client site and falls to USD 59.40 from the fifth.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Okara handles your data.
GDPR overview
There is no GDPR framework on this site. The word never appears once across any of the fourteen pages collected, the privacy policy included: no legal basis, no named data subject rights, no Article 27 representative, no data processing agreement, no supervisory authority. The policy refers only to "applicable data protection laws" without naming any. What does exist is real but unlabelled: a Data Protection Officer is designated and reachable at privacy@okara.ai, the policy grants access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and a copy of your data, a subprocessor list is published with locations, and international transfers are acknowledged with unspecified "adequate safeguards". So this is silence rather than refusal — Okara neither claims nor denies compliance, it simply never addresses the question. Hosting is declared in the United States and Singapore.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms of service you keep ownership of everything you submit, and you grant Okara a licence to use, store and process that content strictly to deliver the service. Okara disclaims responsibility for what the models generate. The privacy policy goes further on prompt data: it is encrypted at rest under what Okara calls a zero-access architecture, and the company states that decryption happens only locally on your own device, so that you alone can read your conversation history. You can delete prompt data at any time from the dashboard. Personal data may be shared with service providers, professional advisers and subcontractors, and would transfer with the business in a sale or merger.
Reuse rights
Okara distinguishes three categories: personal data, prompt data and usage data. It uses them to administer accounts, deliver the AI services, gather feedback and, where you have consented, send marketing. Usage data covers timestamps, conversation IDs, model selection and message roles; message content is encrypted and Okara says it does not profile. Prompt data is explicitly excluded from model training. As the customer you retain ownership of your inputs and of the drafts the agents produce, and you may reuse and publish them freely without asking permission — the whole product is built on you approving and shipping that output. One caveat deserves attention: the privacy policy claims all processing happens exclusively on infrastructure Okara owns and that data is never shared with third-party AI providers, while the company's own subprocessor page lists Replicate for AI model hosting and inference. Those two statements cannot both hold.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Okara publishes a subprocessor list, current as of 27 October 2025, that names each provider, its purpose and its location. Amazon Web Services carries cloud infrastructure, hosting and file storage from Singapore and the United States. Vercel hosts the front end, Supabase runs the PostgreSQL database and Upstash the Redis, vector and queue layers, all in the United States. Replicate provides AI model hosting and inference from the United States. Stripe processes payments from the United States, Ireland and Singapore, and ConvertKit, Resend, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Rewardful and the Twitter and Reddit advertising pixels complete the list. The privacy policy acknowledges cross-border transfers and says adequate safeguards are in place, but names no mechanism — no standard contractual clauses, no adequacy decision. No jurisdiction of incorporation is published anywhere. The domain resolves to an Amazon anycast address geolocated in the United States.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Okara.
- The terms of service govern a different product — a multi-model chat interface with file uploads — and are silent on governing law, jurisdiction, termination and minimum age, so it is unclear what you actually agree to
- The privacy policy and the subprocessor page contradict each other on whether a third-party AI provider handles your data; both cannot be true, and you cannot tell which is
- No GDPR framework at all, no data processing agreement and no Article 27 representative, on a service sold with no geographic restriction
- Publishing on your behalf to your CMS, LinkedIn, X and your GitHub repository means granting broad write access — an unreviewed draft can reach your audience or your codebase
- Delegating your brand voice to agents that all read the same five documents risks output that is consistent but generic, and outsourcing judgement about what to say erodes the instinct for it
- Reddit and Hacker News have strict community norms; automated participation, however well drafted, can damage a reputation faster than it builds one
- Headline claims of 100,000+ users and a wall of well-known customer logos rest on a domain registered in September 2025 and are supported by no case study
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. You enter a website URL and the agent starts working; no credit card, no installation, nothing to implement. Okara advertises a live agent in under five minutes. The optional connections — Google Analytics, Search Console, X, LinkedIn, your CMS — run through OAuth and are covered by dedicated setup guides plus a troubleshooting page. The only step that assumes technical comfort is the Coding agent, which opens pull requests against a GitHub repository and therefore expects someone able to review and merge them.

Should you pick Okara?
Okara is a real, actively maintained product, and that is worth stating plainly because the marketing around it invites scepticism. The evidence holds up: a 438-page site, structured documentation with a page per agent, a named and located subprocessor list, a refund policy revised in March 2026, terms revised in August 2026, and a genuinely open affiliate programme with published terms. For a solo founder or a two-person team, the breadth of channel coverage at this price is hard to match, and the free tier is substantial enough to judge the product before paying anything.
What lags behind is the paperwork. The terms of service describe a completely different product — a multi-model chat interface — and were evidently never rewritten. The privacy policy promises that no data leaves Okara's own infrastructure and reaches no third-party AI provider, while Okara's own subprocessor page names Replicate for model hosting and inference. The GDPR is never mentioned once. And the entry price is quoted four different ways across pages the company controls, with the agency page contradicting its own table one paragraph later.
None of this makes the tool untrustworthy, but it does place the burden of verification on the buyer. Treat the published figures as indicative and confirm your tier in the product before subscribing. If you are a founder who will read every draft before it ships, Okara is a credible way to keep marketing moving without hiring. If you are buying on behalf of an organisation with a compliance review, the legal documentation is not yet in a state that will pass it.
