Plumeo
Swiss editorial copilot for communication agencies and small businesses. Plumeo learns each brand's voice, turns a spoken idea into a post, carousel and Reel script, and lets clients approve it through a link without creating an account.
What is Plumeo?
Plumeo is a Swiss social-media writing tool aimed at communication agencies, freelancers and small businesses. It is published by Ergopix Sàrl, a web and communication company registered in Vevey, canton of Vaud, since 2008. Its starting argument is blunt: audiences now recognise AI-generated posts by their smooth turns of phrase and interchangeable structures, so the product is built to sound like a specific brand rather than like a generator. The centrepiece is what the publisher calls the brand brain: objectives, editorial pillars, key messages, values, positioning, personality, and an explicit list of things the brand must never do. Alongside it sits a voice profile extracted from 5 to 30 genuine posts, including PDF carousels broken down slide by slide so the tool learns how ideas progress and not merely how sentences are written. If the user records views and reactions, the analysis leans on what actually performed with that audience. Day to day, the workflow starts from an idea rather than a draft. The user types or dictates a few sentences, Plumeo asks the two or three questions still missing, builds a brief, then writes in one of eight angles, from lived experience to social proof or a stated position. An approved post can be turned into a carousel script of five to eight titled slides and a Reel script with a three-second hook and timed on-screen text. These are scripts: layout stays with the user or their designer. Plumeo also writes the eight permanent profile texts, such as a LinkedIn headline and About section or an Instagram bio. Client approval runs through a tokenised link valid for 30 days, so the client never opens an account. Feedback returns under the relevant network with a full back-and-forth history. Agencies get watertight separation between brands. Sovereignty is the other pillar. Everything runs on Infomaniak infrastructure in Geneva, and users pick their model per generation: Swiss-hosted Apertus, Mistral Small or Gemma, or international Claude Sonnet, GPT-4o and Mistral Large. The model used is displayed on every post, making the claim checkable.
What it does
- Build a brand's editorial brain: objectives, pillars, key messages, values, positioning, personality and hard no-gos
- Extract a structured voice profile from 5 to 30 real published posts, plus PDF carousels imported slide by slide
- Turn a dictated or typed idea into a finished post after two or three clarifying questions
- Reshape the same idea through eight editorial angles, each changing the structure rather than only the wording
- Derive a titled 5-to-8-slide carousel script and a timed Reel script from an approved post
- Send a tokenised approval link so a client can review and comment without ever creating an account
- Schedule and auto-publish to LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook through their official APIs
When to use Plumeo / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Plumeo is the right fit.
When to use Plumeo
- Communication agencies juggling several client brands, each needing its own tone and its own editorial calendar
- Freelancers and small businesses running their own social presence single-handedly, with no in-house copywriter
- Swiss organisations bound by data-sovereignty requirements, who need generation and hosting to stay on Swiss soil
- Content leads who think out loud and would rather dictate a rough idea than face an empty text box
- Teams whose bottleneck is client sign-off, and who lose days chasing approvals by email
When not to use Plumeo
- Anyone needing a mobile app: Plumeo is browser-only, with nothing published on the App Store or Google Play
- Developers looking to embed generation in their own product, as there is no public API and no documentation portal
- Brands built on X, TikTok, YouTube or Pinterest, since only LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook are supported
- Teams expecting finished visuals, because carousels and Reels are delivered as written scripts, not as designs
- Anyone wanting a permanently free tool, as the 14-day trial is followed by deletion unless a paid plan is taken
How to use Plumeo
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Sign up at plumeo.ch and start the 14-day trial; no credit card is requested
- Create a brand and fill in its brand kit: objectives, pillars, key messages, values, positioning and no-gos
- Paste 5 to 30 real published posts, and optionally import PDF carousels, so the tool can extract a voice profile
- Connect LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook through official OAuth; your network password is never shared
- For Instagram, prepare Meta's three prerequisites: a personal Facebook account, a Business or Creator account, and a linked Facebook Page
- Bring an idea by typing it or dictating it, then answer the two or three clarifying questions
- Pick the editorial angle among the eight available, then review and edit the generated variations
- Turn the approved post into a carousel script and a Reel script if your plan includes it
- Send the tokenised approval link to your client and collect their comments per network
- Place the post in the editorial calendar and let Plumeo publish at the scheduled time
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Verifiable data sovereignty: an end-to-end Swiss path exists, and the model used is displayed on every post
- Explicit and unconditional commitment that customer content is never used to train models, including at third-party vendors
- Client approval without account creation removes the friction that usually sits on the client's side
- Genuine separation between brands, with no corpus sharing or cross-referencing, which matters for agencies
- Public, self-serve pricing with one-click cancellation and Stripe-calculated proration
- Full 14-day trial with no credit card, and payment methods suited to Switzerland including TWINT
- Complete data export in open formats, tied explicitly to Article 20 of the GDPR
Cons
- Only three networks are supported, so brands active on X, TikTok or YouTube are left out
- No mobile app and no public API, which limits the tool to desktop browser use
- Carousels and Reels arrive as scripts, so design work still has to happen elsewhere
- No permanent free plan, and data is deleted 30 days after the trial ends unless a plan is taken
- Monthly post quotas apply on every plan, including Business at 300
- No data processing agreement is published, despite a professional audience handling client data
- No security certification is claimed, and no Article 27 EU representative is named despite advertised EU coverage
Pricing & Plans
There is no permanently free plan. Plumeo offers a full-access free trial of 14 days on every plan, without a credit card, after which the account becomes read-only for 30 days and is then deleted unless a subscription is taken. Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Plumeo handles your data.
GDPR overview
The privacy policy, last updated on 2 September 2026, claims compliance with both the Swiss nLPD and the GDPR, and names Ergopix Sàrl as controller. It lists the rights available: access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and restriction, exercised at hello@plumeo.ch with a 30-day response commitment. Data portability is implemented concretely through a one-click ZIP export, explicitly tied to Article 20. Cookie use is limited to a session cookie and a language cookie, with audience measurement running on self-hosted, cookieless Matomo that anonymises IP addresses and honours Do Not Track. Two gaps are worth noting: no Article 27 EU representative is named even though the site advertises serving the EU, and no data processing agreement is published or offered.
Who owns the data?
Under clause 8 of the terms, the user keeps every right over the content they generate, and Ergopix Sàrl commits to using that content solely to operate the service. The company, based in Vevey, is the data controller. Source material and brand-voice profiles are never shared between brands or between customers, and the publisher states they are never passed to model vendors for training. Users can pull everything back at any time through a ZIP export covering posts, variations, brand voices, connected accounts and subscription history, in CSV and JSON. Only the posts a user actively publishes are transmitted to the social networks, through their official APIs.
Reuse rights
Plumeo places no editorial restriction on what users do with the output: the terms grant them full rights over generated content, so posts, carousel scripts and Reel scripts can be reused, edited or published commercially without asking permission. Every variation stays editable inside the app and can be regenerated until the tone is right. The publisher's own use is deliberately narrow: content serves to produce that brand's material and to build its voice profile, nothing else. Account data, encrypted OAuth tokens, billing identifiers held at Stripe and technical logs are processed to run, bill and secure the service. During generation, the source text and voice profile go to whichever model vendor the user selects, under B2B API terms the publisher says exclude training.

Hosting summary
All customer data is hosted in Switzerland on Infomaniak infrastructure, in Geneva data centres the publisher describes as running on renewable energy, with daily backups and no replication outside Swiss territory. The applicable jurisdiction is Swiss, and the terms place any dispute before the courts of the canton of Vaud. Two exceptions are stated plainly. First, posts the user chooses to publish are transmitted to LinkedIn and Meta through their official APIs. Second, if the user selects an international model such as Claude Sonnet, GPT-4o or Mistral Large, that generation is processed outside Switzerland, encrypted and, according to the publisher, never reused for training. Selecting only the Infomaniak-hosted models keeps generation, Whisper voice transcription and semantic corpus analysis on Swiss soil. Security measures listed include bcrypt password hashing, OAuth tokens encrypted with libsodium and systematic HTTPS. Audience measurement uses self-hosted Matomo with anonymised IP addresses.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Plumeo.
- Delegating a brand's voice to a model can flatten it over time: the tool learns from what already exists, so it tends to reproduce past habits rather than push the brand somewhere new
- The publisher itself warns that it does not guarantee the factual accuracy of generated content, and the user remains solely responsible for anything they approve and publish
- Reviewing plausible, well-formed drafts is cognitively easier than writing, which makes it tempting to approve quickly and let errors or off-brand claims through
- Choosing an international model sends your source text and voice profile outside Switzerland, which quietly undoes the sovereignty argument unless you check the model shown on each post
- The no-training commitment at third-party vendors rests on their B2B API terms, which the site does not publish, so it cannot be verified from the site alone
- No data processing agreement is offered and no EU Article 27 representative is named, which is a real gap for an agency processing its clients' personal data under the GDPR
- Letting the trial lapse deletes everything after 30 days, so brand brains and voice profiles built over weeks can be lost without an explicit action
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. Plumeo runs entirely in the browser, with nothing to install, no code and no API to integrate. Sign-up is advertised at 30 seconds without a credit card, and setting up a brand takes about ten minutes once: filling in the brand kit and pasting three to five real posts. Social accounts connect through one-click official OAuth, so network passwords are never shared. The only genuine friction is Instagram, where Meta's API imposes three prerequisites: a personal Facebook account, an Instagram Business or Creator account, and a linked Facebook Page. The publisher claims a first post published within an hour of sign-up.

Should you pick Plumeo?
Plumeo is a deliberately narrow tool, and that is its strength as much as its limit. It covers three networks, offers no mobile app and no API, and stops short of producing visuals. What it does cover, it covers end to end: from a dictated idea through a brand-specific draft, a carousel or Reel script, client approval and scheduled publishing. For an agency running several brands, the watertight separation between workspaces and the account-free client approval link address two real daily frustrations rather than adding another generator to the pile. Its central claim, Swiss sovereignty, stands up better than most because it is checkable: hosting runs on Infomaniak in Geneva, users choose their model per generation, and the model used is displayed on each post. The commitment that customer content never feeds model training is stated plainly and without conditions, which is more than many competitors offer. Two caveats deserve attention. The publisher, Ergopix Sàrl, has been registered since 2008, but the product itself is new: the domain was registered in May 2026 and the software is at version 1.0, so there is little track record to judge. And while the privacy policy is unusually detailed for a company this size, it publishes no data processing agreement and names no EU Article 27 representative, even though the site advertises serving French, Belgian and Luxembourg customers. Agencies handling client data under the GDPR will want to raise both points before committing. For Swiss-based agencies and independents who value sovereignty and write in French, English or German, Plumeo is a credible and well-priced option, best judged during its 14-day trial.
