involve.me
involve.me is a no-code platform for building AI-generated quiz funnels, forms and calculators that score and segment leads, then trigger personalised email sequences from a built-in CRM, keeping capture and follow-up inside one subscription.
What is involve.me?
involve.me is a no-code platform for building interactive lead-generation funnels and automating the email follow-up that comes after them. It is published by stereosense GmbH, a company registered in Vienna, Austria, whose own timeline places the incorporation in 2016, an earlier product called brandquiz in 2018 and involve.me itself in April 2019.
The platform bundles nine builders: quizzes, forms, calculators, assessments, landing pages, surveys, sales funnels, pop-ups and generic funnels. Anything built with them can be assembled by dragging and dropping more than fifty elements, started from over three hundred responsive templates, or generated outright by an AI Agent that turns a written prompt into flow structure, routing logic, copy, design, scoring rules, formulas and outcome pages, then edits any part of it through further chat. The AI Agent is available on every plan, the free one included.
What distinguishes involve.me from a plain quiz builder is what happens after the submission. Each respondent becomes a contact record in a built-in CRM with mapped properties, tags, dynamic segments and a full interaction timeline, and can immediately enter an email sequence that branches on their answers, score, outcome, segment, opens and clicks. The publisher's argument is that the capture step and the nurture step live in the same subscription, with no separate email tool to connect.
Around that core sit lead scoring with qualification thresholds, conditional logic and logic jumps, one-time-password verification for emails and phone numbers, a formula builder handling VLOOKUP and nested conditionals, real-time personalisation through answer piping and AI-written outcome text, native payments via Stripe, PayPal and Square, discount codes, A/B testing, and analytics that surface completion rates, drop-off points and AI-generated insights.
Funnels publish as embeds, pop-ups, standalone links or pages on a customer's own domain with SSL. More than fifty-five native integrations connect to the usual CRM and marketing stack, with Zapier, Make and outbound webhooks covering the rest. The vendor claims more than 4,500 business customers, hosts on AWS and Hetzner in Frankfurt, and states it is GDPR-compliant and SOC 2 Type II audited.

- Publish as an embed, a pop-up, a standalone link or on a custom domain with SSL
When to use involve.me / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if involve.me is the right fit.
When to use involve.me
- Marketing teams at high-ticket service businesses (financial advisers, insurance brokers, mortgage, solar, real estate) that must qualify enquiries before a salesperson gets involved
- Coaches, consultants and course creators who sell expertise and want an assessment or scorecard to turn curiosity into a booked call
- Direct-to-consumer brands in considered-purchase categories such as skincare, wellness, furniture or mattresses that need product-finder quizzes
- Small B2B marketing teams that would otherwise pay separately for a quiz builder, an email automation tool and a lead-capture CRM
- Agencies and publishers building interactive lead magnets for clients, who need custom domains, white-labelling and reusable templates
When not to use involve.me
- Developers who need a public REST API: involve.me exposes no documented API, only outbound JSON webhooks and Zapier or Make connectors
- Teams that require a mobile app, on-premise deployment or self-hosting, since the product is web-only SaaS
- Buyers unwilling to commit annually, because the advertised entry price of 29 USD per month assumes a yearly commitment and rises to 49 USD month-to-month
- Very small or occasional users whose needs exceed the free tier of 50 submissions per month but who cannot justify a paid subscription
- Organisations needing an interface in a language other than English or German, as the product and site ship in those two only
How to use involve.me
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create a free account at app.involve.me/register; no credit card is required
- Choose a builder or start from one of the 300+ templates, or describe the funnel you want to the AI Agent

- Adjust the design to your brand with custom fonts, colours, borders and media, adding custom CSS if needed
- Set scoring weights, qualification thresholds and conditional logic so each respondent is routed to the right outcome
- Add one-time-password verification, payment steps or discount codes where the funnel needs them
- Pick a trigger such as a submission or a payment and let the AI build the email sequence, then tune delays, branches and conditions in the visual workflow builder
- Connect your CRM or marketing tools through a native integration, or through Zapier, Make or an outbound webhook
- Publish as an inline embed, a pop-up, a standalone link, or on your own domain via CNAME with SSL included
- Track completion rates and drop-off points in the dashboards, read the AI insights and run A/B tests on questions, designs and flows
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Lead capture and email nurture sit in one subscription, removing the need for a separate email automation tool
- The AI Agent is included on every plan, including the permanent free tier
- A genuinely permanent free plan with no credit card required, plus a separate 14-day trial of a paid plan
- European hosting is stated precisely: AWS and Hetzner, servers in Frankfurt, core infrastructure in the EU
- Strong privacy paperwork for the price bracket: named DPO, pre-signed downloadable DPA, published sub-processor list and retention periods given in figures
- An advanced formula builder with VLOOKUP and nested conditionals, unusual at this price point
- The legal identity is fully verifiable, with an Austrian commercial register number and a VAT number that validates in VIES
Cons
- No public API and no developer documentation; custom integration is limited to outbound webhooks and Zapier or Make
- No mobile application, and no self-hosted or on-premise option
- The headline 29 USD per month requires an annual commitment; month-to-month entry is 49 USD, and prices are in USD excluding EU VAT
- Removing involve.me branding requires the 69 USD per month tier, while A/B testing, webhooks, Salesforce and OTP verification start at 139 USD per month
- Free-plan submissions are kept for only 30 days by default, and an inactive free account is retained for just 7 months
- The SOC 2 Type II claim cannot be verified publicly: no auditing firm is named, no certificate number is published and the report is shared only under NDA
- The publisher never states whether customer data is used to train AI models, and no training opt-out is documented

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how involve.me handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is concrete and documented. stereosense GmbH is established in Austria, so no Article 27 representative is required; a data protection officer is named, Cosmin Badea, reachable at data-protection@involve.me. A pre-signed Data Processing Agreement can be downloaded, completed and returned through an upload form. Core infrastructure sits in the European Union, and transfers to non-EU sub-processors are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and transfer impact assessments. A sub-processor list is published, both in the privacy policy and in the Trust Center. Breaches are reported to the Austrian Data Protection Authority within seventy-two hours, with any delay documented. Stated controls include TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access, multi-factor authentication for administrators and at least annual internal and external audits. The policy was last updated on 15 July 2025.
Who owns the data?
The account holder is the data controller and stereosense GmbH acts as processor, a split set out in the downloadable Data Processing Agreement. Customers keep ownership of the leads and responses they collect and can export them to CSV or XLS at any point, including before cancelling. The terms nevertheless require users to grant stereosense GmbH a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide and fully sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate and publicly display their involve.me project, in any format now known or later developed, for the purpose of providing the service. Site content, databases and software remain the property of involve.me and its parent company. Deletion requests are handled within thirty days.
Reuse rights
Customers may reuse the data they collect without asking permission: they are the controller, the responses belong to their own funnels, and export to CSV or XLS is available at any time, including after downgrading to the free plan. What they may not do is reuse involve.me's own material, since site content, images, databases and software stay the property of the publisher. On the vendor's side, use of AI features is described as entirely optional: no data is sent to large language models unless the customer deliberately triggers an AI feature, and personal data is filtered out of AI-generated reports provided respondents are collected through the dedicated contact fields rather than free-text inputs. The publisher never states whether customer data is used to train models.

Hosting summary
involve.me states that its platform runs on Amazon Web Services with servers located in Frankfurt, Germany, and that its core infrastructure sits within the European Union. Both AWS and Hetzner Online GmbH appear in the published sub-processor list with their place of processing given as Germany, EU. The applicable jurisdiction is Austrian, since the publisher stereosense GmbH is established in Vienna, and the Austrian Data Protection Authority is the supervisory body named for breach notification. Several sub-processors nevertheless operate outside the European Union, including Intercom, Stripe and Google in the United States, alongside Chartmogul in Ireland and Reditus in the Netherlands. Transfers outside the EU are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and transfer impact assessments. Data centres are described as protected by access controls, surveillance and environmental safeguards. One technical caveat: the site's public IP address resolves to a CloudFront edge node in Paris, which is a content delivery point and not the origin server.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting involve.me.
- The terms require you to grant stereosense GmbH a worldwide, royalty-free and fully sub-licensable licence over the projects you build, which is broader than the stated purpose of running the service and is worth reading before publishing sensitive material
- The SOC 2 Type II claim is repeated across the site but names no auditing firm and no certificate number, and the report is only released under NDA, so treat it as an unverified vendor assertion rather than an established fact
- Nothing on the site states whether customer or respondent data is used to train AI models, and no training opt-out exists; the only opt-outs published concern marketing emails and Google Analytics
- On the free plan, respondent submissions are deleted after thirty days and an inactive account after seven months, so data can quietly disappear if a project is paused
- Quiz funnels are designed to increase conversion, which makes it easy to over-collect personal data or nudge respondents into disclosures they would not otherwise make; as controller, the legal responsibility for that sits with you, not the publisher
- AI-generated funnels, scoring rules and outcome copy are produced from a prompt and can read convincingly while being wrong, so scoring thresholds and recommendation logic should be reviewed by a human before they route real prospects
- Pricing is displayed in USD excluding EU VAT with the annual view foregrounded, and there are no refunds once a paid period starts, so the real cost of a monthly commitment is easy to underestimate
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low. No coding is required: funnels are assembled by drag and drop or generated from a chat prompt, and a free account opens immediately without a credit card. Publishing is a matter of pasting an embed snippet, sharing a standalone link, or pointing a custom domain through a CNAME with SSL included. Native plugins cover WordPress and Webflow, and connecting a CRM takes a few clicks. Two things raise the bar slightly: building advanced calculators with VLOOKUP and nested conditionals rewards spreadsheet fluency, and any bespoke integration must go through outbound webhooks, which requires someone able to receive JSON at an endpoint.

Frequently asked questions

Does involve.me offer a public API?
Which tools does it integrate with?

Where is the data hosted and how long is it kept?
What is the minimum age to use it?
Should you pick involve.me?
involve.me answers a narrow but common problem: a quiz or calculator captures a lead, and then the handover to an email tool becomes the weak link. By putting the funnel builder, the scoring, the CRM record and the branching email sequence inside a single subscription, the platform removes that seam, and that is genuinely its strongest argument rather than a marketing line.
It suits businesses where a lead is worth qualifying before a salesperson calls: financial advisers, insurance brokers, coaches and consultants, considered-purchase consumer brands, agencies building lead magnets for clients. The AI Agent lowers the entry cost usefully, since it is available even on the free plan, and the formula builder is more capable than the price bracket suggests.
The reservations are practical rather than damning. There is no public API and no mobile app, so anything bespoke goes through webhooks or Zapier. The advertised 29 USD entry price assumes a year's commitment; paying monthly costs 49 USD, and the features most teams eventually want, from A/B testing to Salesforce and webhooks, sit two tiers up at 139 USD. Free-plan data is kept for only thirty days.
On trust, the picture is mixed in an interesting way. The legal and privacy groundwork is unusually solid for this segment: an Austrian company with a verifiable register entry, EU hosting in Frankfurt, a named data protection officer, a downloadable DPA and retention periods stated in figures. Against that, the repeated SOC 2 Type II claim names no auditing firm and no certificate number, and the report is available only under NDA, so buyers who need that assurance should ask for it in writing before committing.
