Leadoo AI
Leadoo AI is a Finnish website conversion and customer experience platform. It layers AI chatbots, live chat, personalisation and company identification onto existing sites, routing qualified leads into CRM systems while a bundled consulting team handles setup and optimisation.
What is Leadoo AI?
Leadoo AI is the conversion and customer experience platform published by Leadoo Marketing Technologies Oy, a Helsinki company. Its premise is an analogy the vendor repeats: a physical store puts someone on the floor to greet and guide customers, while most websites leave visitors to fend for themselves. Leadoo argues roughly 95% of site traffic arrives passive or not ready to buy, and positions itself as the 24/7 sales assistant that talks to those people.
The platform is sold in three parts. Conversion Kit supplies the on-site tooling: AI chatbots, pre-scripted inpage and visual bots, live chat, the Leadoo Personaliser, plus quizzes, tests and calculators. Conversion Insights handles measurement, with company identification, website analytics, and source, journey and campaign insights feeding dashboards and sales alerts. Conversion Experts is the human layer: consultants included in the standard packages rather than sold separately.
On the AI side, the platform answers questions at scale in more than 40 languages, drawing on knowledge bases built from websites, individual URLs or PDF documents, with guardrails covering tone, answer length and forbidden topics. Agentic features let marketers assemble a whole conversational tool in minutes with the AI Bot Builder, draft, translate and rewrite bot content automatically, and read AI-generated insights on conversational flow.
The vendor claims an average 41% lift in conversion rates, more than 100,000 tracked interactions a day, a 4.7/5 rating on G2 and over 1,000 customers. Dedicated pages cover lead generation, recruitment, customer support, personalisation, and tests and calculators, while case studies span automotive, construction, education, financial services, leisure and travel, professional services, recruitment, technology, and transport and energy.
Two structural facts matter. Leadoo joined the SALESmanago group in November 2024 and now sits alongside Manago AI and Thulium AI, though the product remains separately sold and was rebranded Leadoo AI. And it positions itself beside neighbours rather than against them: Intercom serves support, Lead Forensics serves identification, while Leadoo claims the top-of-funnel and the passive visitor.
What it does
- Place AI chatbots, inpage bots and visual bots on any page of an existing website
- Answer visitor questions from knowledge bases built out of websites, specific URLs or PDF documents
- Identify which companies are visiting the site and follow their journeys over time
- Push qualified leads straight into a CRM or a marketing automation platform
- Personalise on-page content according to the visitor's buying stage
- Publish quizzes, tests and calculators that qualify visitors while they browse
- Hand a conversation over to a human live chat agent when the bot reaches its limit
When to use Leadoo AI / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Leadoo AI is the right fit.
When to use Leadoo AI
- B2B marketing teams whose websites draw solid traffic but convert it poorly through static forms
- Sales teams that need to know which companies are browsing the site and be alerted when pipeline accounts return
- Customer service leaders wanting to deflect repetitive enquiries with AI answers before escalating to a live agent
- Recruiters and employer-brand specialists converting career-page visitors, one of Leadoo's documented use cases
- European organisations that require documented EU hosting, a published subprocessor list and a signed data processing agreement
When not to use Leadoo AI
- Buyers who need a published price: the three paid tiers are quote-only and priced per domain
- Teams unwilling to commit for twelve months, with tacit renewal, a 5% annual uplift and no refunds
- Anyone needing a mobile app or a browser extension, since Leadoo AI ships as a web platform and an API only
- Organisations whose policy requires the right to exclude their data from AI model training, which the site never documents
- Procurement teams that demand a formal security certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, neither of which Leadoo publishes
How to use Leadoo AI
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Request a quote or a demo from the Get Leadoo page, or sign up on your own for the free Leadoo Lite tier
- Hold the kick-off meeting, where Leadoo maps your needs and a go-live date is agreed
- Receive the conversion plan and send back your comments and adjustment requests
- Attend the check-in meeting, where the solution is matched against the plan and the platform is demonstrated
- Build the conversational tools in the interface, or generate a complete one from scratch with the AI Bot Builder
- Feed the AI its knowledge base from websites, specific URLs or PDF documents, and set the guardrails on tone, length and forbidden topics
- Connect your CRM or marketing automation platform natively, through Zapier or Cyclr, or with the in-platform Integration Builder
- Let Leadoo embed the tools and tracking scripts, or take the codes and instructions to your own technical team
- Go live with Google Tag Manager wired in by default, then review results with the Customer Success Manager
- For advanced work, use the developer documentation to call the REST API, the JavaScript API or the LiveChat webhooks
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Human consulting is bundled into the standard packages, with onboarding plus 8 to 30 annual hours of a Conversion Expert, rather than sold as an upsell
- Unusually thorough compliance disclosure for a vendor this size: a named DPO, a customer DPA published in full, separate controller and processor policies, and a subprocessor list giving countries and safeguards
- Documented European hosting, with AWS in Ireland, Microsoft in Sweden for the AI chat module and Scaleway in France for backups
- Public developer documentation covering a REST API, a JavaScript API and LiveChat webhooks
- Company identification runs without cookies, which removes a consent obstacle several competitors carry
- Data Act compliance is anticipated in writing, with published infrastructure jurisdictions, export formats and provider-switching procedures
- A permanent free tier, Leadoo Lite, lets you sample the insights on your own traffic before asking for a quote
Cons
- No public pricing at all: the three paid tiers are quote-only and priced per domain
- A twelve-month default commitment with tacit renewal, thirty days' notice, and a 5% annual price uplift accepted at signature
- No refunds of any kind, including unused time or early termination, plus 1.5% monthly interest on late payments
- Leadoo claims ownership of derived data and of the AI models trained on it, and that ownership outlives the contract
- No documented way for a customer to exclude their data from Leadoo's AI and machine-learning training
- No security certification is published: the security page describes measures but names neither ISO 27001 nor SOC 2
- No mobile app and no browser extension, and downgrading to a cheaper tier is barred mid-term
Pricing & Plans
Leadoo AI operates on a quote-based model. A permanent free tier, Leadoo Lite, is offered at no charge and provides capped company identification, website analytics, the platform dashboards and the Leadoo Sales Assistant. The three paid packages, Engage, Expand and Elite, carry no published price in any currency: each is priced per domain and obtained through a personalised quote, so no lowest paid entry point can be stated. Fees are payable annually in advance, with a 6% surcharge for half-yearly billing and 12% for monthly billing, and the terms provide for a 5% annual index adjustment. Additional hourly work, optimisation meetings and workshops are billed separately under the prevailing price list.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Leadoo AI handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is documented concretely rather than merely asserted. Leadoo publishes a customer Data Processing Agreement, separate controller and processor privacy policies, general terms and a Data Act appendix, in force since 1 May 2020 and last updated on 24 June 2026. A Data Protection Officer is named, Marcin Lis at dpo@leadoo.com, sitting on the management team. The subprocessor list is public, each entry showing processing categories, third countries, safeguards and a link to its own agreement; every subprocessor is audited and customers must accept them. Eight data-subject rights are listed, exercised through info@leadoo.com with identity verification, and the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman is named as supervisory authority. Product features include default expiry dates on personal data, per-individual export and deletion, and periodic backup filtering. Conversion Insights is advertised as 100% GDPR compliant with 0% cookies.
Who owns the data?
Under Leadoo's general terms, the customer and its website users own the Customer Data they submit. Leadoo, however, claims full ownership of three separate categories - Statistical Information, Platform Data and Derived Data - together with every AI and machine-learning model trained or improved on them. That ownership vests automatically on creation and survives termination of the contract. The customer also grants Leadoo a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, transmit and create derivative works of Customer Data, without attribution. Intellectual property in the service, software and documentation stays with Leadoo. The vendor states it does not sell or expose individual customer-level data to third parties.
Reuse rights
Customers keep their own data and may reuse and remove it without asking permission: export runs from the interface or the API, in CSV, JSON or XLSX, and the Data Act appendix presents free migration to another provider as a right rather than a favour. Leadoo's own licence over Customer Data is bounded to operating, providing, supporting, improving and developing the services, and the terms state that individual customer-level data is never sold or exposed to third parties. Separately, Leadoo reserves the right to use anonymised Customer Data to develop its services, including training its own AI and machine-learning models, while excluding foundation-model training, sensitive chat content and identifiable personal information. It may also collect the domain names of email addresses gathered on the customer's site for internal company-to-IP matching. On leadoo.com itself, etag tracking and advanced fingerprinting are used, the latter only with explicit permission.

Hosting summary
Customer data is stored and processed on Amazon Web Services servers in Ireland, with automatic deletion after a customer-defined delay and encryption throughout. The optional AI chat module runs on Microsoft servers in Sweden. Scaleway holds backups in France, and Benhauer, the Polish group company trading as SALESmanago, processes all data for group and customer success services. Four optional subprocessors sit outside that perimeter: Clearbit in the United States for IP-based company enrichment under standard contractual clauses, Zapier in the United States, and Cyclr and Cronofy in the United Kingdom, each activated only at the customer's request. Under the Data Act appendix, Leadoo's own infrastructure falls under Helsinki District Court, Microsoft under Irish courts, AWS under American arbitration, Scaleway under the Paris Commercial Court, Benhauer under Polish courts, Zapier and Clearbit under Delaware, and Cyclr and Cronofy under England and Wales. The homepage states that data is stored within the EU; the data protection page qualifies this, reserving the right to process information outside the EU and EEA while undertaking to minimise it.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Leadoo AI.
- No country or region is excluded, and the terms push responsibility for local compliance onto the customer: you must check that a bot collecting personal data on your site is lawful where your visitors actually are
- The homepage promises EU storage while the data protection page reserves the right to process data outside the EU and EEA; switching on the optional US and UK subprocessors moves data beyond the perimeter you were sold
- The terms treat anonymised and aggregated data as a separate category that is no longer customer data, yet elsewhere allow anonymised customer data to be used for model training, so read the two clauses together before relying on either
- The optional AI chat module runs on ChatGPT or an equivalent Microsoft model under a non-public agreement, which puts a third-party large language model in the conversation path
- Leadoo Lite is called a permanent free product on the pricing page and a free trial on its own page, with no duration published anywhere, so get the answer in writing before building on it
- No minimum age is stated, which matters if your site attracts younger visitors who may type personal details into a chat window
- Every email address on the site is hidden behind Cloudflare obfuscation, and the pricing and packages were recently reworked, so contact details and tier contents should be reconfirmed before deciding
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low, because the vendor does most of it. The standard package covers a six-step onboarding, ten conversion tool implementations, two revision rounds and basic CRM or marketing automation integration; Leadoo either places the tools and tracking scripts itself or hands codes and instructions to your technical team, with Google Tag Manager wired in by default. Daily use needs no technical skill: bots are built in the interface or generated by the AI Bot Builder, and integrations run through the Integration Builder. Developer skills apply only to custom REST API work, sandboxed iframe embedding or the JavaScript API.

Should you pick Leadoo AI?
Leadoo AI makes most sense for a business-to-business site that already draws meaningful traffic but converts it badly through static forms, inside an organisation willing to sign for a year and to work alongside an external consultant.
Two things genuinely set it apart. The first is that the human help is bundled: onboarding, then eight to thirty hours of a Conversion Expert every year, form part of the standard packages rather than a separate line item. The second is the paperwork. For a vendor of this size the compliance disclosure is unusually complete, with a named data protection officer, a customer DPA published in full, separate controller and processor policies, a subprocessor list giving countries and safeguards for each entry, and a Data Act appendix setting out infrastructure jurisdictions, export formats and provider-switching procedures.
The reservations are equally concrete. Nothing about the commercial terms is public: three quote-only tiers priced per domain, a twelve-month default commitment that renews itself, a 5% annual uplift accepted at signature, and no refunds under any circumstance. On the data side, Leadoo keeps ownership of derived data and of the models trained on it, and that ownership survives the contract; no mechanism is documented for a customer who wants their data kept out of that training. The security page describes sensible measures but names no certification.
One point of context deserves stating plainly: the publisher joined the SALESmanago group in November 2024. The product has not been wound down, having been rebranded Leadoo AI with its packages reworked, but buyers should weigh the group ownership in a multi-year decision. The sensible route is to take Leadoo Lite first, at no cost, and see what the insights actually show on your own traffic before asking for a quote.
