Miri AI
Miri AI is a white-label engagement engine and intelligence platform for health and wellness companies. It coaches users daily, turns their behavior into real-time signals, and flags churn risk, adherence gaps and cross-sell openings for operators.
What is Miri AI?
Miri AI is a business-to-business platform from Miri Technologies, Inc., a company based in Oakland, California. It positions itself as the behavior layer between a health or wellness company and the people it serves—the stretch of daily life between appointments, refills and renewals, where engagement usually collapses.
The product comes in two connected halves. The Engagement Engine is the patient-facing side: a white-label AI experience built around check-ins, coaching, personalized guidance and daily habit loops. The Intelligence Platform is the operator-facing side: churn-risk detection, retention workflows, cross-sell identification and revenue-weighted analytics. Miri describes the pair as creating a continuous loop between user behavior and business action.
Three deployment routes are offered: a white-label engagement app delivered by Miri, an analytics portal for operations teams, and integration through an SDK and API. The developer documentation, served under an /alpha/ path, covers a React Native SDK with modules for conversational chat, meal logging by text or photo, recipes, cravings and restaurant menus, goals and tracking, body measurements, an admin console and webhooks. Swift and Android SDKs are roadmap items, an Activity Tracker and Coach Check-ins are marked coming soon, and server-side work runs through a public API secured with an API key.
Six verticals are addressed: GLP-1 and medical weight loss, telehealth providers, lab diagnostics and biomarkers, supplements and e-commerce, EHR and platform partners, and care networks. Optional health data arrives from Apple Health or Google Health Connect, and the commerce vertical integrates with Shopify and subscription platforms.
Miri publishes striking numbers, all of them its own claims, with no methodology attached: 60% 30-day retention against a 6% industry reference, a 9-16x retention gain, 5.3x weekly sessions against an industry average of one to two, 5.8x revenue potential, and 71% product-market fit among GLP-1 users in a pilot. Vituity, Kalix and TOTO appear as named partners.
The company is equally explicit about what it is not. Miri does not practice medicine, does not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and creates no doctor-patient relationship. Its stated ambition is to coach a billion people through the providers they already trust, without replacing clinicians.
What it does
- Keep users engaged day to day, between visits, refills and renewals
- Turn everyday behavior into real-time signals on adherence, motivation, symptoms and routines
- Detect churn risk and falling engagement before revenue is affected
- Trigger retention workflows automatically
- Spot repurchase intent and cross-sell opportunities
- Give operations teams revenue-weighted insight into cohorts and outcomes
- Ship a white-label coaching app, or embed the layer through the React Native SDK or the API
When to use Miri AI / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Miri AI is the right fit.
When to use Miri AI
- Telehealth providers and GLP-1 or medical weight-loss programs whose patients lose momentum between appointments
- Lab diagnostics and biomarker companies that want test results turned into protocols people actually follow
- Supplement and wellness e-commerce brands running on Shopify or a subscription platform and chasing repeat orders
- EHR vendors and care networks that need behavioral visibility on what happens between visits
- Digital health product and growth teams whose retention breaks straight after acquisition
When not to use Miri AI
- Individual consumers: there is no self-service sign-up, no published price and no advertised free trial
- Anyone looking for diagnosis, treatment or a prescription, since the terms exclude all three and create no doctor-patient relationship
- Buyers who need GDPR, HIPAA or SOC 2 assurances up front, as none are claimed anywhere on the site
- Teams shipping native Swift or Android apps, because the SDK currently covers React Native only
- Under-13s, who are outside the scope of the services under the privacy policy
How to use Miri AI
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Request a demo from the site: the only entry point is a Calendly intro call, as there is no self-service sign-up
- Use the call to state your vertical and pick a route: white-label app, analytics portal, or SDK and API integration
- Agree commercial terms directly with the sales team, since no price is published anywhere
- For the no-code route, take delivery of the white-label engagement app configured by Miri
- For the developer route, register to obtain an API_KEY
- Install the Miri React Native SDK and add the Context Provider to your application
- Initialize the SDK, then drop in the UI components you need: chat, goals, measurements, admin
- Move security-sensitive operations to your own server through the public API
- Configure webhooks to receive events, following the documented error handling
- Onboard end users: intake covering goals and demographics, then weekly check-ins and continuous nudges, with optional Apple Health or Google Health Connect syncing from the app settings
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Two layers in a single purchase: a patient-facing engagement app and an operator-facing analytics platform, instead of buying the two separately
- Six named verticals with dedicated pages, so the fit conversation starts concrete rather than generic
- Three deployment routes, one of which needs no engineering at all on the buyer's side
- Public, readable developer documentation covering the SDK, the API, webhooks and the UI components
- Written and explicit commitment never to sell or share Apple Health or Google Health Connect data with third parties, advertising platforms, data brokers or resellers
- Health data can be deleted from inside the app along a documented path (Main Menu > Settings > Health Data > Edit > Delete Data), and the service works without sharing any health data at all
- Leadership named individually with checkable track records, and pilot figures attributed to a named partner, Vituity, rather than an anonymous logo
Cons
- No public pricing whatsoever: no pricing page, no plan, no range, so every evaluation starts with a sales call
- No GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 claim anywhere on the site, which is a conspicuous silence for a platform handling health data
- No DPA offered, no subprocessor list published, no Article 27 EU representative, and no published data retention commitment
- Terms of service dated 8 November 2023 that still describe a consumer subscription product on Miri.health, and that leave an unfilled placeholder, "[please add email address]", where the legal department's address for dispute notices should be
- Visible signs of an unfinished site: a homepage block still carrying lorem ipsum, /solutions/ehr-systems serving the /solutions/lab-diagnostics content, a misspelled copyright line ("Copyrigt"), and dead # links behind Compliance, About Us, Careers and Press
- Developer documentation served under an /alpha/ path with modules marked coming soon, and an SDK limited to React Native while Swift and Android are only announced
- Headline performance figures published without any methodology, and disputes routed to mandatory individual AAA arbitration with a class-action waiver
Pricing & Plans
Miri AI publishes no pricing. There is no pricing page, no plan comparison and no price range anywhere on the site, and the sitemap offers no route to one; the single commercial path is a "Request a Demo" Calendly booking. The terms of service refer to several subscription plans with subscription fees, subscription periods and automatic renewal, billed to a credit or debit card through a third-party payment processor from the effective date onwards, but they state no amount, no currency and no billing unit. Cancellation is possible at any time and takes effect at the end of the current period, with no renewal notice sent, and prices may change without effect before the current period ends. The site states neither the existence nor the absence of a free plan or a free trial. Buyers should therefore expect a quoted, negotiated price rather than a list price.
- the terms of service mention several subscription plans
- each defining the nature of the service
- its duration
- its fees and its payment conditions
- without naming or costing a single one
- a deployment mode presented commercially

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Miri AI handles your data.
GDPR overview
There is no GDPR implementation to report. The word GDPR appears nowhere on the site, checked across all eleven pages in text and in HTML. No legal basis is stated, no rights of access, rectification, erasure or portability are described, no Article 27 EU representative is named, no data protection officer is appointed, and no privacy@ or gdpr@ address exists. No data processing agreement is published or offered and no subprocessor list appears. The footer's Compliance link points to a dead anchor. The privacy policy, last updated on 6 March 2026, is written from a purely US standpoint: Miri states it is located in the United States and announces cross-border transfers without naming any mechanism, neither standard contractual clauses nor the Data Privacy Framework. The only operational control described is disconnecting and deleting synced health data inside the app.
Who owns the data?
Miri's terms leave you the owner of your Submissions, though that ownership is thinner than it sounds. Posting content grants Miri a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and fully sublicensable license to reproduce, adapt, analyze, exploit and publicly display it in any format, for any purpose, including promotional use such as testimonials. Feedback and suggestions count as Submissions and are deemed non-confidential. Separately, Miri reserves what it calls Miri Data, the anonymous aggregated usage statistics drawn from the service, for its own commercial purposes. Personal information may also pass to a third party in a merger, sale, bankruptcy or reorganization.
Reuse rights
The documents describe what Miri may do with data far more precisely than what an end user may do with it. Because the terms leave Submissions in the user's ownership, users stay free to reuse their own content without asking Miri; nothing, however, grants them reuse rights over Miri's material or over the aggregated statistics it keeps. On Miri's side, the privacy policy lists name, phone number, email, wellness-related answers, social profiles for coaches, IP address and approximate location, and payment information. Health metrics such as sleep, steps, exercise minutes, hydration and heart-rate variability are optional and arrive only after explicit permission through Apple Health or Google Health Connect. Miri uses all of it to run the service, match users with coaches, send marketing email, analyze usage, personalize AI coaching, prevent fraud and develop new products, and shares it with hosting, analytics, payment, security, support, email and audit providers, plus partner coaches at the user's own request. One exclusion is explicit: health data obtained through Apple Health or Google Health Connect is never sold or shared with third parties, advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers. Users may decline health syncing altogether and still use the service, with less personalization. Aggregated and anonymized data leaves the personal-data perimeter and may then be used for any purpose. Google Analytics and invisible reCAPTCHA are in place, browser do-not-track signals are not honored, and nothing on the site addresses whether customer data is used to train AI models.

Hosting summary
Miri names no hosting country, no region and no provider. The privacy policy, last updated on 6 March 2026, states only that the company is located in the United States and that personal information may be stored and processed in any country where it has facilities or engages service providers, with users told their information will be transferred outside their country of residence, including to the United States. That transfer clause is the sole basis for treating the United States as the hosting jurisdiction; it is not a hosting declaration in the strict sense. The terms of service acknowledge that Miri relies on a third-party hosting infrastructure and disclaim any warranty over it, but never name the provider, and no subprocessor list is published. No hosting certification is claimed, whether HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001 or any health-data accreditation. Network observation helps little here: the site is served behind Cloudflare (AS209242, anycast, San Francisco node), which describes how the marketing site is delivered, not where patient data lives. Buyers needing a hosting location in writing will have to ask for it.

Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Miri AI.
- The submitted domain miri.health now 301-redirects to www.miri.ai, and the legal documents did not follow: terms dated 8 November 2023 still refer to the website located at Miri.health, still give support@miri.health rather than the homepage's support@miri.ai, and still carry an unfilled "[please add email address]" placeholder where the legal department's address for dispute notices belongs
- Nothing on the site mentions GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CCPA, a DPA or subprocessors, and the footer's Compliance link leads to a dead anchor, so health data is handled with no published compliance framework to hold the vendor to
- Submitted content carries a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and sublicensable license to Miri, promotional use included, so anything a user writes can be reused indefinitely and passed on
- Daily nudges and habit loops are designed to maximize engagement: users can drift into reading AI coaching as clinical advice, when the terms exclude diagnosis, treatment and prescription and create no doctor-patient relationship, and into leaning on the app rather than on their own judgment or their clinician
- Disputes go to mandatory individual AAA arbitration with a class-action waiver, and personal data may be transferred to a third party in a merger, sale, bankruptcy or reorganization
- The headline retention and revenue figures are published without methodology, reference period or sample size: they are the vendor's claims, not independent measurements, and should not be budgeted against
- Unfinished work is visible on the site itself, from lorem ipsum in a homepage block and /solutions/ehr-systems serving the lab-diagnostics content, to a misspelled copyright line, developer docs under /alpha/ with modules marked coming soon, and Facebook and Instagram links pointing at the networks' home pages rather than at Miri accounts
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Difficulty depends on the route. The white-label engagement app needs no development on the buyer's side: Miri delivers it. The developer route is standard mobile integration, obtain an API_KEY, install the React Native SDK, add a Context Provider, initialize it, wire in the UI components, move security-sensitive calls to your server through the public API, configure webhooks. The limiting prerequisite is that the SDK covers React Native only; native Swift or Android apps must wait for the roadmap or work through the API. No end-to-end tutorial or code sample is public, and no free sign-up allows evaluation before contacting sales.

Should you pick Miri AI?
Miri AI has a clear, well-bounded proposition: fill the gap between interactions in a health or wellness journey, and turn what happens in that gap into something an operator can act on. The two-layer architecture, an engagement engine facing users and an intelligence platform facing the business, is coherent; the three deployment routes are plausible; and the developer documentation backs them with a real SDK, a public API and webhooks. The leadership team is named, its track record is checkable, and at least one pilot result is attributed to a named partner rather than an anonymous logo.
Against that sits a short list of substantial gaps. No price is published, so evaluation starts with a sales call. Nothing on the site claims GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance, a conspicuous silence for a platform that ingests sleep, exercise and heart-rate variability data and sells to care networks and EHR vendors. No DPA, no subprocessor list and no retention period are published either.
The site still shows its seams: a homepage block carrying lorem ipsum, a solutions page serving another page's content, a misspelled copyright line, dead footer links, and terms of service from November 2023 that still describe a consumer subscription product on a domain the company has since left. The headline numbers, 60% 30-day retention, 9-16x gains and 71% product-market fit, are Miri's own claims, published without methodology, sample size or period.
The product looks real; the shop window and the paperwork do not yet match it. A European buyer in particular will have to obtain off-site everything the site does not say: a DPA, subprocessors, hosting location, retention periods, and Miri's position on model training.
