PixVerse
PixVerse is a generative AI video platform where creators, marketers and developers turn text or images into finished clips. Its in-house V6, C1 and R1 models run across web, mobile apps, CLI and a REST API.
What is PixVerse?
PixVerse is a generative AI video platform operated by AIVORA PTE. LTD., a company founded in 2023 and headquartered in Singapore. It presents itself as “the generative core behind digital worlds and experiences”, built on proprietary research in video generation and production, now extended into real-time worlds and interactive entertainment.
The platform runs on models built in house. V6 brings precise camera control, native audio and 1080p output; C1 targets cinematic work; R1, launched in January 2026, is presented as the first real-time world model; V5.6, V5, V4.5, V4 and V3.5 remain available. Third-party engines sit beside them, including Seedance 2.5 and 2, Nano Banana 2, Seedream 5.0 Lite and Grok Imagine 1.5. The underlying architecture is a proprietary Diffusion Transformer that the company says produces 1080p in under a minute with native audio-video synchronisation.
Several products surround those models: PixVerse Web, the conversational Agent, Marketing Hub for short-form advertising, Canvas for node-based workflows, a CLI, the API Platform and ten Mini-Apps — Ad Master, Director Shots, Promo Mix, Sound Effect Generator, Image Region Editor, Fashion Beat, Magic Extend, Video Expand, Vibe MV and Product Video Remix. Growth Studio, announced on 12 August 2026, converts product data into ready-to-run video ads with native specifications for Google, Meta, TikTok and AppLovin.
The claimed scale is considerable: more than 150 million users across 177+ countries, 2.1 billion videos generated, 16 million monthly active users and 13 interface languages. On 2 April 2026 Artificial Analysis placed V6 at the top of its published image-to-video ranking with 1,343 ELO, ahead of Grok Imagine 720p, Kling 3.0 Omni, VEO 3.1 Fast and Sora 2 Pro; V5.6 had ranked second worldwide in February 2026. PixVerse advertises API pricing of $4.80 per minute for V6 against $24.00 for VEO 3.1 and $18.00 for Sora 2 Pro.
For enterprises it claims 68% lower costs, 57% faster production and up to ten times more content, with ISO/IEC 27001 certification issued by DNV and SOC 2 controls. A PixVerse Game Engine and real-time interactive livestreaming were announced during 2026.
What it does
- Generate a video from a written prompt, with optional native audio and output up to 1080p
- Animate a still image into a moving shot (image-to-video)
- Direct the generation conversationally through the Agent, which keeps the creative direction in context
- Produce batches of ready-to-run ads from a product URL with Marketing Hub and Growth Studio
- Extend, restyle, upscale, lip-sync and sound-design an existing clip, and generate sound effects
- Build a repeatable node-based production workflow in Canvas
- Embed generation in your own product through the REST API, the CLI or an MCP client
When to use PixVerse / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if PixVerse is the right fit.
When to use PixVerse
- Short-form social creators who need vertical 9:16 hooks and clips produced at volume
- Marketing, DTC and brand teams that turn a product URL into batches of ads through Marketing Hub and Growth Studio, or produce campaign variants, product demos and training clips
- Cross-border e-commerce sellers who need native Google, Meta, TikTok and AppLovin ad specs, plus Product Video Remix and Ad Master
- Developers and product teams embedding video generation through the REST API, webhooks, the CLI or the PixVerse MCP server
- Filmmakers, storyboard artists and scriptwriters working on cinematic sequences, where V6 offers precise camera control, native audio and 1080p output
When not to use PixVerse
- Anyone under 16, who cannot use the service without parental supervision; South Korean residents must be 19 to use the paid Growth Studio wallet
- Agencies or vendors planning to resell, share or white-label API access to third parties, or to build a competing product on top of the API, both forbidden by Platform Terms 3.1 and 3.6
- Regulated and public-sector buyers who need a signed DPA, a published sub-processor list or an EU Article 27 representative, none of which PixVerse publishes
- Teams that must strip AI provenance, since API responses must keep their mandatory “AI-generated” marking, or that want to exploit the platform’s own creative materials commercially without written authorisation
- Organisations that require a contractual uptime or availability commitment, as the services are supplied “as is” under article 9 of the Terms of Service
How to use PixVerse
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account and open the web app at app.pixverse.ai, or install the iOS or Android app, both listed as free to use
- Start from a prompt, an uploaded image or a reference, and choose the model and quality: 360p, 540p, 720p or 1080p, with optional native audio
- Generate several directions at once, then compare them before committing to one
- Refine with the Agent by describing in plain language what should change; the creative direction stays in context (for example, “Create 4 film shots”)
- For advertising, upload an image or paste a product URL into Marketing Hub, then press Create
- For repeatable production, wire references, prompts, motion and output into an editable Canvas graph you can replay
- Finish the clip with Lip Sync, TTS voices, Avatar, sound effects, Extend, Restyle or Upscale, and export in the aspect ratio your channel expects
- For terminal work, use the CLI: pixverse generate --prompt "..." --ratio 9:16 --duration 5
- For agent workflows, add the PixVerse MCP server to Claude for Desktop or Cursor through uv/uvx, with Python 3.10 or later
- To integrate it in your own product, get an API key on platform.pixverse.ai and POST to the v2 text-to-video endpoint with API-KEY and Ai-trace-id headers, then poll the task status or receive a webhook
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Per-minute API pricing far below the models PixVerse benchmarks itself against: $4.80/min for V6 versus $24.00/min for VEO 3.1 and $18.00/min for Sora 2 Pro
- Strong third-party benchmark standing: V6 leads the published Artificial Analysis image-to-video table at 1,343 ELO, and V5.6 ranked second worldwide in February 2026
- One platform for generation, editing, conversational agent, node workflows, CLI and API, instead of a stack of separate subscriptions
- Third-party models (Seedance, Nano Banana, Seedream, Grok Imagine) accessible in the same place as the in-house ones
- A permanent free tier rather than a countdown: registered accounts receive free daily credits, and the iOS and Android apps are free to use
- Thorough developer material: detailed API documentation, webhooks, an MCP server for Claude for Desktop and Cursor, and a CLI
- Credible corporate footing: ISO/IEC 27001 certified by DNV, SOC 2 controls, $439M raised in Series C and unicorn status
Cons
- Consumer subscription pricing is not public: only the API and credit grids are documented, and the consumer pricing page sits inside a JavaScript-rendered application
- API credits and PixVerse Web credits are ring-fenced and cannot be transferred between the two
- An API plan cannot be upgraded or downgraded once subscribed, the documentation stating plainly “Not supporting yet”
- No DPA, no sub-processor list, no EU Article 27 representative and no named DPO are published
- The training opt-out is mentioned but conditioned on “where such option is made available”, with no documented mechanism, page or setting
- No postal address, no about page and no contact page; contact runs through email and Discord, with Singapore law and SIAC arbitration governing disputes
- The App Store link published by the site (Apple ID 6599839203) did not resolve on any Apple storefront tested on 16 August 2026
Pricing & Plans
A permanent free plan is available: registered accounts receive free daily credits, the amount varying with current campaigns, and the iOS and Android applications are listed as free to use. There is no separate time-limited trial. Paid access is metered in credits. The lowest publicly documented entry point is a pack of 1,000 credits at USD 10.00, quoted at around 22 videos; larger packs are priced at USD 50, USD 100, USD 500, USD 2,000 and USD 5,000, the last covering 500,000 credits or roughly 11,111 videos. Monthly API subscriptions start at USD 100 for Essential (15,000 credits), followed by Scale at USD 1,500 (239,230 credits) and Business at USD 6,000 (1,069,500 credits). PixVerse publishes a reference ratio of “$1 = 5 videos (v6, 720p, 5s, no audio, with Starter pack)”, and charges per second of output: V6 costs 5 credits per second at 360p, 9 at 720p and 18 at 1080p without audio, with 2 to 5 additional credits per second when audio is enabled. Purchases are made at platform.pixverse.ai/billing, and enterprise pricing is quoted on request through api_business@pixverse.ai. It should be noted that the price of the consumer PixVerse Web subscription is not published on the site: only the API and credit pricing is documented.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how PixVerse handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR coverage is partial and indirect. The privacy policy, updated on 7 May 2026, never names the GDPR: it commits to “processing personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws”, sets out a legal basis purpose by purpose (consent, contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation), grants the right to withdraw consent at any time and the right to complain to a local privacy regulator. The only explicit GDPR reference sits in an ancillary contract, the Growth Studio Terms of Paid Service (5.2.2), which subject wallet data to “applicable data protection laws (including but not limited to PDPA, GDPR)”; the same terms cite Article 8(1) for the digital age of consent, and give EU residents a 14-day withdrawal right and access to their national courts despite the SIAC arbitration clause. No Article 27 EU representative, no named DPO, no DPA and no sub-processor list are published. Legal contact: compliance@pixverse.ai.
Who owns the data?
Intellectual property in the Inputs you supply stays with you or with the rightful owner (Terms of Service, article 5), and the Platform Terms (5.2) confirm that IP in videos generated through the API belongs to users. In return, the privacy policy has you grant AIVORA PTE. LTD. and its affiliates a free, worldwide, perpetual and sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, distribute and display that content, but “solely in an aggregated and anonymized manner” to improve the service, including model training, unless you opt out where that option is made available. API users additionally let PixVerse use generated content for promotion and technical improvement. Cloud-stored material is said to be accessible to no one without your permission.
Reuse rights
You may reuse what you generate without asking permission: PixVerse claims no ownership over your Inputs and states that IP in API-generated videos belongs to users. Two conditions apply, however — the mandatory “AI-generated” marking must be preserved in API output, and the platform’s own Platform Creative Materials may not be exploited commercially without prior written authorisation (Terms of Service, article 6). On its own side, PixVerse collects account identifiers such as name and email, device data, PLMN and cellular location, IP addresses, logs and uploaded content, for twelve stated purposes each tied to a legal basis (consent, contract, legitimate interest, legal obligation); the twelfth is model training and optimisation in aggregated, anonymised form. Facial data is extracted only for the duration of generation: it “is not stored or shared with third parties, and is permanently deleted once processing is complete”. The policy commits to “never selling personal and sensitive user data to third parties”, while allowing cookies, pixels, web beacons and local storage, and sharing with unnamed business partners for order, account, device and location purposes. Identity checks (KYC/AML) may apply to the Growth Studio prepaid wallet.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
PixVerse is operated from Singapore. The privacy policy, updated on 7 May 2026, states that the company “is headquartered in Singapore and may use service providers that operate in other countries”, and that personal information “may be transferred to the United States or other locations where privacy laws may not be as protective” as those of the user’s own country. Before transferring data out of Singapore, the company undertakes to ensure the recipient is bound by legally enforceable obligations; it also cites compliance with local law, consent for cross-border transfers of sensitive data, minimum scope and content, the shortest possible retention, and supervision of the recipient’s level of protection. Encryption in transit and at rest is announced. Beyond that, hosting is undocumented: no cloud provider is named, no region (EU, UK, APAC) is declared, and there is no trust portal listing infrastructure. Governance is attested at organisation level, with ISO/IEC 27001 certification from DNV and SOC 2 controls. The public site is served behind Cloudflare, which says nothing about where generation workloads and stored assets actually sit.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting PixVerse.
- Consumer pricing is opaque: only API and credit pricing is documented, so you cannot check what a PixVerse Web plan costs before creating an account and opening the app
- Credits are ring-fenced between Web and API and cannot be moved across, and an API plan cannot be upgraded or downgraded once subscribed (“Not supporting yet”) — it is easy to spend on the wrong side
- Your content feeds model training in aggregated and anonymised form, and the opt-out is conditional on “where such option is made available” with no documented setting: assume training happens
- Compliance paperwork is missing — no DPA, no sub-processor list, no EU Article 27 representative and no named DPO — which will stall any regulated procurement process
- Availability of functions, products and services “may vary by country or region” under local law, with no published list of restricted countries, so what you can use may differ from what a colleague abroad can use
- Asking for a refund of the Growth Studio prepaid wallet permanently and irrevocably closes the account: an expensive way to change your mind
- Cheap, fast output invites quantity over judgement. Treat generated ads and clips as drafts you still review, keep the mandatory “AI-generated” attribution intact, and remember that the platform’s own creative materials cannot be used commercially without written authorisation
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for creators, moderate for developers. Consumer use needs no installation: create an account, open the web app or install the iOS or Android app, then type a prompt or upload an image. API use requires an account on platform.pixverse.ai, an API key and asynchronous REST calls with status polling or webhooks, and access is reserved for qualified developers who must submit qualification documents for the platform to validate. The CLI is straightforward. The MCP server is the most demanding path: Python 3.10 or later, uv/uvx, and manual edits to the configuration file of Claude for Desktop or Cursor.

Should you pick PixVerse?
PixVerse has moved quickly from a single video generator to a complete generative video stack. The in-house V6, C1 and R1 models sit beside third-party engines, and the company can point to independent benchmarks — Artificial Analysis placed V6 at the top of its published image-to-video table in April 2026 — while advertising API pricing of $4.80 per minute against $24.00 for VEO 3.1. Around that core it assembles editing tools, a conversational Agent, node-based Canvas workflows, ten Mini-Apps, a CLI, an MCP server and a documented REST API, plus Marketing Hub and Growth Studio for teams producing advertising at volume. Free daily credits and free mobile apps keep the cost of entry genuinely low, while $439 million raised in Series C, unicorn status, ISO/IEC 27001 certification and SOC 2 controls give the company real staying power.
The reservations concern transparency rather than capability. Consumer subscription prices are simply not public: only the API and credit grids are documented, and the pricing page lives inside a JavaScript application. Compliance material is thin for a company of this size — no DPA, no sub-processor list, no EU Article 27 representative, and a training opt-out that exists only “where such option is made available”. There is no postal address, no about page and no contact page, and disputes go to SIAC arbitration in Singapore. Credits are ring-fenced between Web and API, and an API plan cannot be changed once chosen.
In short: excellent value for quality for creators, marketers and developers comfortable with metered credits, and a harder proposition for procurement teams that need signed data-protection paperwork before they can sign anything else.
