Overview

What is Uplyst?

Uplyst is an Italian SaaS platform for centralised multi-marketplace selling, published by Cloov S.r.l. Societa Benefit in Milan. The premise is simple: import your catalogue once, then publish and synchronise it automatically across several sales channels instead of retyping every product for every marketplace.

Catalogues come in three ways: an OAuth or API-key connection to a WooCommerce, Shopify or PrestaShop store; a CSV file whose columns are mapped with AI assistance; or manual creation with AI help, for sellers who have no storefront at all. From there the AI reads each product and generates titles, descriptions, categories and attributes calibrated to what each marketplace expects. The homepage shows the idea in one line: an original title reading t-shirt nera taglia M usata pochissimo, 28 characters long, is rewritten as an 88-character title tuned for eBay. Category and attribute mapping works the same way, with a confidence level and a memory of the choices you confirm.

Publishing is done in bulk: pick the products, pick the channels, publish in one action, with a preview of the listing exactly as the marketplace will show it. Stock, prices, variants and orders then stay in sync in real time, the stated goal being to avoid selling the same unit twice. Selling rules are set per channel, covering shipping, payment and returns as well as markup, discount and rounding, and saved as reusable templates. Each listing gets a quality score across five dimensions, namely title completeness, description quality, image compliance, attribute completeness and price competitiveness, while publishing errors are gathered as alerts in the dashboard and corrected automatically wherever that is technically possible. A unified dashboard reports revenue, orders and performance by channel and by product.

Scope matters here. The site's own FAQ names eBay, Subito.it and TikTok Shop as the channels currently live, while the integrations grid displays eleven entries in total. Native catalogue sources are WooCommerce, Shopify and PrestaShop. A REST API on the Custom plan connects ERP, WMS, accounting or repricing tools. Uplyst launched publicly on 16 June 2026 alongside a EUR 1 million round raised by Cloov, and both site and interface are in Italian only.

What it does

  • Import a catalogue from WooCommerce, Shopify, PrestaShop, a CSV file or AI-assisted manual entry
  • Have AI rewrite titles, descriptions, categories and attributes for each destination marketplace
  • Publish to several channels at once through a single bulk action
  • Keep stock, prices, variants and orders synchronised in real time across every connected channel
  • Apply different markup, discount and rounding rules channel by channel
  • Track revenue, orders and per-channel performance from one dashboard
  • Clear publishing errors flagged by alerts, with automatic correction where it is possible
Audience

When to use Uplyst / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Uplyst is the right fit.

When to use Uplyst

  • Italian sellers and brands already active on eBay or Subito.it who want to add channels without commissioning custom integrations.
  • Small sellers and independent traders with an Italian VAT number, listing on one or two channels and looking for automation off the shelf.
  • Mid-sized merchants trying to cut the operational cost of writing and maintaining every individual listing.
  • Resellers, marketplace managers and agencies running accounts for several brands, who need the multi-account setup offered on the Custom plan.
  • Merchants with no storefront of their own: a catalogue can be built from a CSV file or created manually with AI assistance, and second-hand stock is explicitly catered for.

When not to use Uplyst

  • Sellers who need a marketplace Uplyst has not connected yet: Amazon, Vinted and Facebook Marketplace are presented as roadmap items, not live channels.
  • Teams that require a contractual SLA. Article 3.5 of the terms rules out any SLA and any guaranteed response or resolution time.
  • Anyone who needs an interface in a language other than Italian: site, product and documentation exist in Italian only.
  • Merchants who expect the tool to handle several currencies. Article 6.4 of the terms states that Uplyst performs no currency conversion.
  • Users looking for a permanently free tier. Once the seven-day trial ends, the account is limited to delisting, deleting products and choosing a plan.
Get started

How to use Uplyst

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Sign up on the registration page: the seven-day free trial starts automatically and no credit card is requested.
  2. Connect your catalogue source, either a WooCommerce, Shopify or PrestaShop store through OAuth or an API key, or a CSV import, or manual creation with AI assistance.
  3. Let the AI map categories and attributes, then confirm or correct its proposals; confirmed choices are remembered and reapplied to similar products.
  4. Connect your marketplaces through OAuth 2.0 or an API key, which the FAQ puts at five to ten minutes per channel.
  5. Set the rules for each channel: shipping, payment, returns and pricing strategy, meaning markup, discount and rounding.
  6. Check the per-marketplace preview of each listing, then publish in bulk; the site claims the first listings can go out within minutes.
  7. Watch the listing quality score, the error alerts and the per-channel performance figures in the dashboard.
  8. Call on the onboarding team by email or chat, available Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm CET, outside Italian public holidays.
  9. Change plan whenever you need to from the dashboard: an upgrade is charged pro rata immediately, a downgrade takes effect at the next cycle.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Pricing is public and simple: two priced plans, quoted identically on the pricing grid, in the page's structured data, in the terms and in the machine-readable summary.
  • The advertised amounts are contractually stated as VAT included (article 4.1), so EUR 69 is what you actually pay, which is unusual in this market.
  • The seven-day trial requires no credit card and does not convert automatically into a paid subscription.
  • No plan caps the number of connectable channels; plans differ on product and listing volume, not on marketplaces.
  • The data processing agreement is built into the terms: the processor is appointed by acceptance, with no separate document to negotiate or sign.
  • Sub-processors are named individually in the privacy policy and detailed further in the cookie policy.
  • Catalogue export in .xlsx is guaranteed for 30 days after termination, and plan changes are self-service, immediate and without penalty.

Cons

  • The site contradicts itself on integrations: the integrations grid shows eleven entries, including Amazon, Magento, Meta and WhatsApp Business, while the FAQ on that very page names only eBay, Subito.it and TikTok Shop as active.
  • The llms.txt and llms-full.txt files advertise a wider set of channels still, with no roadmap caveat attached.
  • There is no permanently free plan: after seven days the account is limited to delisting, deleting products and choosing a plan.
  • No SLA and no guaranteed response time (article 3.5), with support confined to Italian business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm CET.
  • Interface and documentation are Italian only, and there is no public API documentation: API access belongs to the Custom plan and is configured by the team.
  • No hosting country or region is disclosed, infrastructure sub-processors are not named, and no security certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 is claimed.
  • Whether customer data is used to train AI models is never addressed; the product is very young, launched on 16 June 2026, and there is no mobile app on either store.
Pricing

Pricing & Plans

There is no permanently free plan. Access starts with a seven-day free trial, available once per user, on the scope of the Pro plan, with no credit card required and no automatic conversion into a paid subscription. The lowest paid entry point is the Pro plan at EUR 69.00 per month; Growth is EUR 129.00 per month; the Custom plan is quoted on request and carries no public figure. Article 4.1 of the terms specifies that both amounts are inclusive of Italian VAT. Billing is monthly only, no annual option being offered, and renews automatically until cancellation, with payment handled by third-party providers such as Stripe and no card data retained by the publisher. An upgrade is charged pro rata for the remaining days of the cycle; a downgrade takes effect on the first day of the following cycle, with no refund for periods already started, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights. Consumers keep the 14-day right of withdrawal under article 52 of the Italian Consumer Code, exercised in writing to info@uplyst.io. Unpaid invoices trigger eight collection attempts over two weeks, then suspension and closure of the account after 30 days. Price changes require 30 days' notice.

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Uplyst handles your data.

GDPR overview

Compliance is explicitly claimed. The privacy policy, dated 23 February 2026, states that processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Decree 101/2018. The controller is named: Cloov S.r.l., Viale Bianca Maria 28, Milan, VAT IT12459830969, info@uplyst.io. Rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent are listed, together with the right to complain to the Garante. Transfers outside the EU rely on standard contractual clauses for Google, PostHog, HubSpot and Cloudflare; ContentSquare processes within the EU. Article 32 measures are described: TLS in transit, authenticated access control, logging, logical separation between customers, backup and restore, staff training. Breaches are notified without undue delay and an audit may be requested once a year. No DPO is appointed and no article 27 representative is named, the company being established in the EU.

Who owns the data?

Article 7.1 of the terms states that the user keeps ownership of all rights in their own content. Cloov S.r.l. receives only a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, limited to what running the service requires and exercised on the user's instructions. Article 17.2 sets the GDPR roles: the user is the controller, Cloov the processor under article 28, appointed by the simple acceptance of the terms, with no separate signature. Article 17.4 forbids Cloov from using the data for its own purposes, including commercial profiling, direct marketing to the user's end customers, and any sale or transfer to third parties. A catalogue export in .xlsx remains available for 30 days after termination.

Reuse rights

Because ownership never changes hands, the user can reuse their own catalogue without asking permission: CSV export is included in every plan, and an .xlsx export stays open for 30 days after termination. Excluded from that export are the listings published on the channels, the publication statistics and Uplyst's proprietary rules and mappings. On the platform side, processing is confined to receiving, importing, storing, transmitting, synchronising and displaying data so the service can operate (article 17.3). The data handled on the customer's behalf covers identity, contact, shipping and billing details, orders and transactions, and the identifiers assigned by the marketplaces; the people concerned are the user's end customers and business contacts, plus the staff who access the platform. No special category data under article 9 and no criminal-offence data under article 10 is processed. Article 7.5 provides for irreversible anonymisation within 90 days of account deletion, after which residual data may be kept for statistics and service improvement. Data collected through the website's own forms serves sign-ups and enquiries, communications, analytics and CRM, with Google Analytics and Cloudflare on legitimate interest and PostHog, HubSpot and ContentSquare on consent. The training of AI models on customer data is never addressed anywhere on the site, neither to claim it nor to exclude it.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Sign-up and enquiry form data is kept until the account is deleted or erasure is requested, and in any case no longer than three years from the last active contact. Billing records are kept for ten years, as Italian tax and civil law requires. Analytics data follows the retention rules of the third-party tools, the cookie policy listing lifetimes from one hour to thirteen months. Your own content is irreversibly anonymised within 90 days of account deletion, and what remains afterwards may be kept for statistics and service improvement. An .xlsx export of the catalogue is available for 30 days after termination, then switched off; it excludes listings published on the channels, publication statistics and proprietary rules and mappings. At the end of these periods, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Hosting summary

Uplyst discloses no hosting location. The privacy policy refers only to providers of hosting and technology infrastructure services, without naming them, and states no country and no region. Article 17.5 of the terms allows sub-processors for cloud hosting, payment handling (Stripe is given as an example) and transactional email, again without naming the host. The sub-processors that are named, namely Google LLC, PostHog Inc., HubSpot Inc., Cloudflare Inc. and ContentSquare SAS, the last of which processes within the EU, cover the marketing website's analytics and CRM rather than the platform's infrastructure; transfers outside the EU for the first four are said to rely on standard contractual clauses. Security measures declared under article 32 GDPR are encryption in transit (TLS), authenticated access control, logging, logical separation of customer data, backup and restore, and staff training. The site is served behind Cloudflare, which is a content delivery network and says nothing about where data is stored. The publisher is established in Milan and the contract is governed by Italian law, but neither fact tells you where the platform's data actually sits.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Uplyst.

  • The integrations grid and the FAQ on the same page disagree: eleven logos are displayed, three channels are declared active. Choosing a plan on the strength of the grid, or of the even broader list in llms.txt, means buying a roadmap rather than a product.
  • The figures illustrating the product pages are mock-ups, not measurements: EUR 12,480 of revenue over seven days, 247 orders, 3.2% conversion, 1,247 monitored listings, and a rating of 4.8 from 312 reviews that belongs to a fictitious listing, not to Uplyst. Homepage claims such as 20+ hours saved per week or 25% more sales come with no source and no method, and the setup time is quoted as two, three or under five minutes depending on the page.
  • Letting AI write every title, description and attribute is convenient, and it is also how a catalogue drifts. Rewritten listings can overstate condition, size or material on second-hand goods, and the seller, not the tool, remains answerable for what is published.
  • Signing off AI category and attribute mappings becomes a reflex once the system starts remembering confirmed choices. One wrong mapping accepted early propagates silently to every similar product afterwards.
  • The quality score rewards what it can measure, such as title length, attribute completeness and price competitiveness. Optimising for the meter is not the same as selling well, and it can quietly replace judgement about the actual buyer.
  • You keep ownership of your content, but not all of it comes back: listings published on the channels, publication statistics and Uplyst's proprietary rules and mappings are excluded from the export, and the export window closes 30 days after termination.
  • Gaps to weigh before entrusting a whole catalogue: no hosting country or infrastructure provider is disclosed, no security certification is claimed, AI training on customer data is never discussed, there is no SLA, and the domain itself is registered only until 12 November 2026, for a product launched in 2026 by a company registered in 2022.
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Low. The FAQ states that no advanced technical skill is needed: a step-by-step wizard covers each channel, marketplaces connect through OAuth 2.0 or an API key in five to ten minutes each, store connections import the catalogue automatically once authenticated, and CSV columns are mapped with AI assistance. An onboarding team is available by email and chat whatever route you take. Two caveats: generating the API key on the marketplace side is still your job, and the site quotes three different setup times, under two minutes, under five minutes and three minutes, depending on the page you read.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Uplyst?
Uplyst is an Italian SaaS platform for centralised multi-marketplace selling, published by Cloov S.r.l. in Milan. You import your catalogue once, and AI-optimised listings are published and kept in sync across the connected channels.
Which marketplaces are actually live?
The site's FAQ names eBay, Subito.it and TikTok Shop. Amazon, Vinted and Facebook Marketplace are presented as roadmap items, and Facebook Shop as under evaluation. The integrations grid on the same page nevertheless displays eleven entries.
Do I need an existing online store to use it?
No. Uplyst can be used standalone, either by importing a CSV file or by creating products manually with AI assistance. Native store connections cover WooCommerce, Shopify and PrestaShop through OAuth or an API key.
How much does Uplyst cost?
Pro is EUR 69.00 per month and Growth EUR 129.00 per month, both stated in the terms as inclusive of VAT. The Custom plan is quoted on request. Billing is monthly only, with no annual option.
Is there a free trial, and what happens when it ends?
Yes: seven days, once per user, with no credit card and no automatic conversion into a paid plan. When it ends the account stays open but is limited to delisting, deleting products and choosing a plan.
Is there an API?
Yes. A REST API is offered on the Custom plan and set up with the technical team, for connecting ERP, WMS, accounting or repricing tools. There is no public API documentation page.
Is there a mobile app?
No. Neither an iOS nor an Android application exists, and the site carries no app store badges.
Which languages are supported?
Italian only. The site, the product and the documentation are published in no other language, and no other locale is served.
Who owns the data, and how long is it kept?
You keep ownership of your content; Cloov acts as processor under article 28 GDPR. Content is irreversibly anonymised within 90 days of account deletion, and an .xlsx export of the catalogue remains available for 30 days after termination.
Can I connect several marketplaces at once, and change plan later?
Yes to both. The number of connected channels is not capped by the plan, since plans differ on product and listing volumes, and you can change plan from the dashboard at any time: upgrades are pro-rated immediately, downgrades apply from the next cycle.
Conclusion

Should you pick Uplyst?

Uplyst is a young and deliberately narrow product. It launched on 16 June 2026, the day Cloov closed a EUR 1 million round, and it does one job: take a catalogue from a shop or a spreadsheet and turn it into marketplace listings that are written, priced and kept in sync automatically.

What the site does well is commit to figures. Two priced plans, EUR 69 and EUR 129 a month, appear identically on the pricing page, in the structured data, in the terms and in the machine-readable summary, and the terms say plainly that both are VAT included, which few vendors do. The contractual side is unusually tidy for a company at this stage: the data processing agreement is folded into the terms, sub-processors are named, the catalogue can be exported for 30 days after you leave, and consumers keep their statutory right of withdrawal.

The gap to watch is between what the site displays and what it says is running. The integrations grid shows eleven logos; the FAQ underneath names three live channels, eBay, Subito.it and TikTok Shop, and files Amazon, Vinted and Facebook Marketplace under roadmap. Judge the tool on the three, not on the eleven. Infrastructure transparency is the other weak spot: no hosting country, no named infrastructure provider, no security certification, and complete silence on whether customer data trains AI models.

Read as an Italian tool for Italian sellers, the fit is clear. If you already move volume on eBay or Subito.it, sell second-hand or variant-heavy stock, and want listing work to stop eating your week, Uplyst is worth the seven-day trial. If you need Amazon, an English interface, a contractual SLA or a documented API, it is not there yet.
