Overview

What is Cempresso?

Cempresso is the software suite published by Bulb Technologies (Bulb d.o.o., Zagreb, Croatia), a vendor that presents itself as a leader in broadband service management. The suite digitalises customer support for communication service providers and covers the whole interaction cycle, from the contact centre through to resolution on the network.

Three products are promoted today. Cempresso Platform automates support processes, manages knowledge and pushes AI suggestions to the agent, so level 1, 2 and 3 roles work in a single tool instead of several. It provides a 360-degree customer view built from multiple sources, automated remediation and guided support, multi-channel and multi-lingual handling, advanced analytics on support sessions, and an NBI interface for integration with existing OSS/BSS systems; reactive use cases include group outage and group fault detection and downstream or upstream quality problems. Cempresso AI Studio is a flexible, modular web application built with an open and platform-agnostic approach for embedding large language models into business processes: a drag-and-drop Modeler GUI, configurable blocks that can change the behaviour of other blocks, a model chosen per component (proprietary APIs such as OpenAI, or local open-source models) and flows that combine several agents, APIs, tools, scripts and vector databases. Cempresso AI Agent adds a network of intelligent agents described in natural language rather than in code, with pre-integrated LLMs, flexible deployment options and a connection to existing systems through a BPMN process step. DACS, the DHCP/DOCSIS Auto Configuration System, handles centralised CPE provisioning and is a network service rather than an AI one.

The use cases named by Bulb are unstructured data collection, text summarisation, next-best-action, sentiment analysis, personalised recommendations, response generation, semantic chunking, data restructuring, email triage and virtual support agents. Telecom solutions cover proactive network maintenance, Wi-Fi service assurance, DOCSIS device management, asset management and service performance dashboards.

Bulb lists Deutsche Telekom, A1 Telekom Austria, Telecom Italia TIM, United Group and A1 Hrvatska among its references, claims more than 40 service providers served and over 40 million managed CPE devices, and is a TM Forum member with an Open AI Business Assurance Marketplace Catalyst award. Three older module pages, Customer Care, Business Process Management and Analytics and Intelligence, are still served but no longer linked from the navigation.

What it does

  • Aggregate data from multiple systems into a single 360-degree customer view
  • Guide agents step by step through troubleshooting, onboarding and complaint handling
  • Automate diagnostics and remediation, including before the customer calls, through proactive network maintenance
  • Offer AI self-service to end customers on their smartphone
  • Build LLM chains and agents by drag and drop, with no code, in AI Studio
  • Sort and route emails and incoming requests by sentiment, intent and priority
  • Summarise long documents and recommend the next best action from history and real-time data

When to use Cempresso / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Cempresso is the right fit.

When to use Cempresso

  • Communication service providers in fixed, cable and mobile broadband that want to digitalise customer support end to end
  • High-volume telecom contact centres currently juggling CCaaS, CRM, help desk and analytics tools side by side
  • Level 1, 2 and 3 support teams that need one tool and one uniform troubleshooting process instead of several applications
  • Organisations that want to embed large language models in their business processes without a development team, through the zero-code AI Studio
  • IT departments adding automation on top of an existing OSS/BSS estate, since Bulb states that no massive changes to existing IT systems are required

When not to use Cempresso

  • Freelancers, small businesses and startups: Cempresso is sold under enterprise contract, with no online sign-up and no self-service purchase path
  • Buyers who need to compare prices before speaking to sales, since there is no pricing page, no plan and no published rate card
  • Teams looking for a free plan or a free trial, neither of which is advertised anywhere on the site
  • Users expecting a mobile app from the vendor: none is published on the App Store or on Google Play
  • Organisations evaluating DACS as an AI product, since it is a DHCP/DOCSIS provisioning service with no AI component
Get started

How to use Cempresso

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Start from the website: there is no self-service sign-up, the entry point is the Contact us for a demo form
  2. Scope the deployment with Bulb, which states that the suite slots into the existing IT estate without a major rebuild
  3. Connect Cempresso to OSS/BSS systems through the NBI interface, and to CRM and business databases
  4. Rely on the vendor's professional services and systems integration skills for the rollout
  5. Model support processes and knowledge so level 1, 2 and 3 agents follow one simplified flow in a single tool
  6. In AI Studio, assemble blocks by drag and drop in the Modeler GUI, choose the model per component and configure each block
  7. For AI Agent, describe in plain human language when a tool should be triggered and how it should be used, instead of programming it
  8. Attach agents to business processes by adding them as a BPMN process step
  9. Train agents on one application rather than several, since the workflow is unified
  10. Expose self-care to end customers on their smartphone so they can resolve issues on their own

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Rare telecom specialisation: genuine CSP domain knowledge and integration skills rather than a generic assistant
  • Flagship references named on the site: Deutsche Telekom, A1 Telekom Austria, Telecom Italia TIM, United Group and A1 Hrvatska
  • Vendor longevity, with Bulb d.o.o. founded in 2006 and close to twenty years on the market
  • Financially solid publisher: 53 employees, EUR 5.34 million in revenue and EUR 979,135 in net income for 2025 according to Fina Info.BIZ
  • Zero-code and low-code approach that removes the need for a dedicated development team
  • LLM agnosticism, with no lock-in to a single model provider and support for local open-source models
  • Modular suite covering the whole chain from the network to the end customer, slotting into the existing IT estate through NBI

Cons

  • No public pricing whatsoever: no rate card, no plan, no way to size the cost without contacting the vendor
  • No terms and conditions published, so every contractual fact is unavailable before negotiation
  • The privacy policy covers the corporate website only, and says nothing about how the platform processes customer data
  • Nothing published about model training, training opt-out, data retention or the product's subprocessors
  • No security certification claimed anywhere on the site, no ISO 27001, no SOC 2 and no data processing agreement
  • No public API documentation, although an NBI integration interface is advertised on three product pages
  • Partly outdated website: a 2022 copyright, share capital still stated in HRK although the register has published it in euros since 2024, and more than 70 employees claimed against 53 in the latest published accounts
Pricing

Pricing & Plans

No price is published. Bulb operates a contact-sales model: there is no pricing page at all, /pricing, /price and /plans each return a genuine 404, and the 44-URL sitemap contains none. No free plan and no free trial are advertised, and no starting price, currency or billing unit appears anywhere on the site. The only route to a figure is a commercial discussion, entered through the Contact us for a demo form. The budget for Cempresso is therefore set contract by contract, and no order of magnitude can be stated here without inventing one.

Prices and plans listed above may evolve. Always check the official pricing page before subscribing.

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Cempresso handles your data.

GDPR overview

The published policy refers explicitly to the GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, and sets out how personal data is handled and what rights apply. European residents are offered access, rectification, updating and erasure; the legal bases invoked are performance of a contract and legitimate interests. Requests and complaints go to info@bulbtech.com, or by post to Bulb d.o.o., Ulica grada Vukovara 23, 10000 Zagreb. No data protection officer is named, and no Article 27 representative is required since the company is established in the EU. Two limits matter. The site never claims compliance in so many words, and the policy covers only the corporate website, not the Cempresso platform. It also warns that information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Who owns the data?

Ownership of the data processed inside the Cempresso platform is not documented publicly. The only policy Bulb publishes describes how personal information is collected when you visit the corporate website, and it carries no clause at all about customer data handled by the product. No terms and conditions exist either: the /terms path returns a genuine 404 and the 44-URL sitemap lists none. The controller named for the website is Bulb d.o.o., Ulica grada Vukovara 23, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia. Ownership, licensing and reuse of platform data must therefore be settled in the commercial contract, before signature, because nothing public answers those questions.

Reuse rights

On the corporate website, Bulb collects device information such as browser, IP address, time zone, cookies, pages viewed and referring site, through cookies, log files and web beacons, tags or pixels. The declared purposes are understanding the audience, screening for risk and fraud, optimising the site and measuring campaigns. Google Analytics is the only third party named, with an opt-out link. Bulb states that it does not sell, rent or lease data to third parties, while also writing that we do not share your Personal Information with third parties, but we use tools that might do that. Information may be transferred outside Europe, including to Canada and the United States, and the Do Not Track signal is not honoured. Recruitment data is kept for the duration of the job contest, three months for a spontaneous application, and one year if the candidate opts in. Nothing at all is published about how customer data flowing through the Cempresso platform may be used or reused, so no reuse right can be assumed outside the contract.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Only one retention period is published, and it concerns recruitment rather than the product: Bulb keeps applicants' data during the job contest, for three months in the case of an open application, and for one year if the candidate explicitly chooses that option. Nothing else is published. There is no retention period for customer data processed by the Cempresso platform, no deletion or anonymisation commitment, and no statement about what happens to data at the end of a contract. That silence follows from the scope of the published policy, which covers the corporate website only. Retention, deletion and anonymisation therefore have to be negotiated and written into the contract.
GDPR contact

Hosting summary

Bulb declares no hosting country and no hosting region for the Cempresso platform. The published privacy policy contains a single transfer clause, warning that information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States, but that clause concerns the corporate website and its analytics tools rather than the product, and it cannot be read as a hosting declaration. No data centre, cloud provider or jurisdiction is named for customer data, and no subprocessor list is published. As a purely technical observation, the marketing site itself resolves to an address operated by Hetzner Online in Falkenstein, Germany, with Cloudflare name servers; that tells you where the brochure is served from and nothing about where platform data would live. For an operator with data residency obligations, hosting jurisdiction, transfer safeguards and subprocessors have to be established directly with the vendor and written into the contract, since no public document answers them.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Cempresso.

  • Seven hosts serve a byte-identical site with no redirection at all: bulb.hr, www.bulb.hr, web.bulb.hr, cempresso.com, www.cempresso.com, bulbtech.com and www.bulbtech.com. The home page canonical points to web.bulb.hr, sub-page canonicals and the sitemap point to www.bulbtech.com, and one sub-page canonical still points to www.cempresso.com. Check which domain and which entity you are actually dealing with before sharing anything
  • No terms and conditions are published anywhere, and the /terms path returns a genuine 404. Liability, service levels, data ownership, reversibility and exit therefore exist only in a contract you will not see before negotiation
  • The privacy policy covers the corporate website only. Nothing is published about how the Cempresso platform handles customer data, whether it feeds model training, how long it is kept, which subprocessors are involved, or where it is hosted. Do not read the website policy as a product commitment
  • The site is partly out of date: a 2022 copyright, share capital still stated in HRK although the court register has published it in euros since 2024, more than 70 employees claimed against 53 in the 2025 accounts and 60 on LinkedIn, and three different postcodes for the same street address. Check company facts against the Croatian court register rather than the marketing pages
  • Three product pages, Customer Care, Business Process Management and Analytics and Intelligence, still return a page but are linked from no navigation. Confirm what is still sold, maintained and supported before assuming a module is part of the current offer
  • No security certification is claimed anywhere, so nothing should be inferred from the M+ Group partnership or from the customer logos. OpenAI is quoted as an example of a proprietary API rather than as a contracted integration, and the advertised NBI interface has no public documentation to verify
  • Handing level 1, 2 and 3 troubleshooting to guided flows and AI suggestions can quietly erode agents' own diagnostic skills, and pushing end customers towards AI self-service can strand the least confident of them. Keep a human escalation path, keep training people on the underlying network rather than only on the tool, and review the suggestions the system makes
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

High for deployment, low for day-to-day AI configuration. Cempresso is an enterprise integration project rather than an online sign-up: it is rolled out inside an operator's estate and connected to OSS/BSS systems through the NBI interface, and to CRM and business databases. Bulb states that no massive change to existing IT systems is required, and offers professional services and systems integration skills for the rollout. Once live, AI Studio is zero-code and drag-and-drop, so building chains and agents needs no developer. No public technical documentation exists, so the effort cannot be assessed independently.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Cempresso?
Cempresso is a customer support digitalisation suite published by Bulb Technologies and aimed at telecom operators. It automates support processes, provides AI-based self-service applications and knowledge management, and is listed on the vendor's site alongside references such as Deutsche Telekom, A1 Telekom Austria and Telecom Italia TIM.
Who publishes Cempresso?
Bulb d.o.o., a Croatian company based at Ulica grada Vukovara 23 in Zagreb, registered with the Commercial Court of Zagreb under company number MBS 080568105. The company also trades under the Bulb Technologies name.
How much does Cempresso cost?
No price is public. Bulb publishes no pricing page and no rate card, and sells under contract: the entry point is a demo request. Any figure has to come from a commercial discussion with the vendor.
Is there a free plan or a free trial?
Neither is advertised. The site mentions no free plan and no trial period, and offers no online sign-up: the only entry path is the Contact us for a demo form.
Which products make up the Cempresso suite?
Four are published: Cempresso Platform for support process automation and knowledge management, Cempresso AI Studio for building LLM chains, Cempresso AI Agent for natural-language agents, and DACS, the DHCP/DOCSIS Auto Configuration System used for device provisioning.
Which large language models does Cempresso support?
AI Studio is built with a platform-agnostic approach and lets you pick the model per component, whether a proprietary API such as OpenAI or a local open-source model. AI Agent ships with pre-integrated LLMs. No exhaustive list of supported models is published.
Do you need to write code to build an AI agent?
No. AI Studio uses a drag-and-drop Modeler GUI with configurable blocks, and AI Agent follows a zero-code approach in which you describe in human language when a tool should be triggered and how it should be used.
Does Cempresso have an API?
An NBI interface for integration with other OSS/BSS systems is advertised on three product pages, but no public API documentation exists. There is no developer portal, and the api subdomain resolves without answering on any port, so integration details have to be obtained from the vendor.
Is there a mobile app?
The vendor publishes no application on the App Store or Google Play. End customer self-care is described as running through a smartphone interface, not through a downloadable app.
Is customer data used to train models?
The site never addresses the question. The published privacy policy covers the corporate website only, so there is no statement about training, training opt-out, retention or subprocessors for the Cempresso platform. This has to be settled contractually.
Conclusion

Should you pick Cempresso?

Cempresso is a credible niche product rather than a general-purpose AI assistant. Bulb Technologies has been building broadband service management software from Zagreb since 2006, its last published accounts show 53 employees, EUR 5.34 million in revenue and EUR 979,135 in net income, and its reference list names Deutsche Telekom, A1 Telekom Austria, Telecom Italia TIM and United Group. For an operator that wants a 360-degree customer view, guided troubleshooting and proactive network maintenance in one tool, that mix of telecom domain knowledge and integration experience is hard to find elsewhere. The AI layer is real and recent: AI Studio embeds large language models in business processes through a drag-and-drop Modeler GUI, and AI Agent lets teams describe agents in plain language, with pre-integrated models and no lock-in to one provider.

The reservation is transparency. No price, plan or rate card is published; no terms and conditions exist anywhere on the site; the privacy policy covers the corporate website only and says nothing about the data flowing through the platform; and no security certification, DPA, retention rule or subprocessor list is claimed. An NBI integration interface is advertised on three product pages, but no public documentation backs it. The site itself is partly out of date, with a 2022 copyright, share capital still expressed in HRK and a headcount above what the register shows, so company facts are worth checking against the Croatian court register. As a shortlist candidate for a telecom procurement process, Cempresso earns a demo. As a product you can assess on your own from public information, it gives you very little, and every commercial and legal question has to be answered in the contract.
