PerizIAl
Spanish SaaS platform for insurance loss adjusters and expert-appraisal practices. It ingests assignments straight from Gmail, books inspections over WhatsApp, runs remote video appraisals and calculates settlements, with its generative AI hosted in Madrid.
What is PerizIAl?
PerizIAl is a Spanish business-to-business SaaS platform built for peritos de seguros — insurance loss adjusters — and for the practices that employ them. Its stated ambition is to replace the usual scatter of Excel, e-mail, Word, a calendar and a separate invoicing tool with one system that carries a claim from the moment the assignment arrives to the moment the fee is collected. Five appraisal specialties share the same base: general insurance, industrial diverse risks (IRD), motor, property and accident reconstruction, each with its own workflow, templates and statutory deadlines. The work starts with AI intake. A multimodal parser running on Vertex AI Gemini 2.5 Flash, invoked in Google's Madrid region, reads the body of the e-mail and the attached PDF in a single call and returns structured data, so the claim number, policy number, insurer and client are already filled in. A routing engine then assigns the case, in automatic, balanced or manual mode. The appointment message is written for the adjuster with a single-use link valid for 24 hours, and the adjuster sends it from their own WhatsApp number — there is no company number to register and no per-conversation fee. Inspections happen on site or by video, and a video session ends with a certificate whose SHA-256 fingerprint is submitted for an RFC 3161 timestamp. The IRD engine then applies deductible, excess and policy limits across loss items and produces a settlement PDF in the format the major insurers accept. Reports come out as DOCX and PDF; the adjuster signs them outside the platform. One point deserves emphasis. In August 2026 the publisher withdrew its forensic appraisal module — evidence vault, hash chain of custody, PAdES signature, court dossier and cross-examination tooling — and criminal-case work and digital forensics became contractually excluded purposes. What survives at the same address is a narrower evidence analysis box of five document-checking tools, which the publisher is careful to say is not a forensic service.
What it does
- Reads the incoming assignment e-mail and its PDF attachment and opens a pre-filled case file
- Routes each case to the nearest available adjuster by specialty, workload and distance
- Writes the appointment WhatsApp with a single-use booking link that expires after 24 hours
- Runs a remote video appraisal and issues a session certificate carrying an RFC 3161 timestamp
- Calculates the settlement item by item, applying deductible, excess, policy limit and exclusions
- Drafts the report inside the insurer's own DOCX template and exports it as DOCX and PDF
- Checks documents supplied with the claim: image tampering, e-mail authenticity, OCR and activity logs
When to use PerizIAl / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if PerizIAl is the right fit.
When to use PerizIAl
- Independent insurance loss adjusters who receive assignments by e-mail and juggle Excel, Word, a calendar and a separate invoicing tool
- Expert-appraisal practices of two to thirty technicians that need to balance workload across adjusters and consolidate billing
- Motor claims appraisers who would rather run a remote video inspection than drive between body shops
- Property appraisers dealing with construction defects, valuations and Spanish land-registry checks
- Industrial risk (IRD) adjusters handling multi-item claims and business-interruption losses
When not to use PerizIAl
- Anyone preparing expert evidence for a criminal case: the terms of service have excluded that purpose since August 2026
- Digital forensics practitioners, since evidence acquisition, chain of custody and device analysis were removed from the product and are now contractually forbidden
- Bodily-injury assessors, because injury scales, recovery periods and every health-data field were withdrawn at the same time
- Teams working outside Spain or in any language other than Spanish, as the interface, the statutory deadlines and the reference data are Spanish-only
- Buyers who need a permanent free tier or want to evaluate the tool without handing over a payment card
How to use PerizIAl
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account in about two minutes; a payment card is required at sign-up to verify identity, with no charge before day 30
- Connect the Gmail mailbox through OAuth 2.0 in roughly five minutes, using read-only scope, with no IMAP and no scraping
- Let the guided onboarding assistant switch on each integration in order
- Watch the first assignment arrive: the parser turns the e-mail and its PDF into a draft case file automatically
- Set the routing policy once for the organisation, then let the engine assign each case by specialty, workload and distance
- Send the pre-written appointment WhatsApp from your own number; the policyholder picks a slot in two taps
- Carry out the inspection on site from the browser, or remotely by video with a session certificate at the end
- Attach photos, files and third-party submissions, and run anything questionable through the evidence analysis box
- Build the settlement in the IRD wizard, then generate the report in the insurer's own template
- Close the case, deliver the DOCX and PDF, sign them with your own tool, and issue the invoice from the same file
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Genuine, documented EU data residency: the model runs in Madrid, case files sit in Ireland, transactional mail in Frankfurt and video appraisals on a dedicated server in France
- A subprocessor inventory published provider by provider, stating what each one handles and where, with thirty days' notice before any addition
- All three plans unlock the whole platform: nothing is locked behind a tier, only volume changes
- Retention of intake PDFs is the customer's decision, from immediate destruction to 3,650 days, with no indefinite option available at all
- No retraining on customer content, contractually backed, with systematic pseudonymisation before any call to the model
- WhatsApp messaging without registering a business number, without Meta approval and without a per-conversation charge
- Legal documentation that is unusually candid, dated, and explicit about what was removed from the product and why
Cons
- Interface and website are Spanish-only, with no English version, which puts the tool out of reach outside Spanish-speaking markets
- The product is shaped around Spanish insurance practice, and transposing it to another jurisdiction is not documented
- No permanent free plan, and a payment card is demanded at sign-up even for the trial
- The contact page is closed to visitors who have not registered, so there is no way to reach support before opening an account
- No native mobile app, and the desktop application exists for Windows only
- Cloudflare runs on a free plan, terminates TLS and sees the content of every request with no regional routing control, and the publisher itself says the Railway hosting adequacy check is still in progress
- An API is advertised but no public documentation page exists, and the default timestamping authority is not eIDAS-qualified

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how PerizIAl handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is documented in unusual detail. The publisher claims compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Spain's LOPDGDD, and backs it with an article 28 data processing agreement published as Annex I of the terms. A subprocessor table names every provider, what it handles and where, with thirty days' notice, a right to object and a right to terminate before any addition. International transfers rest on the 2021/914 standard contractual clauses, plus EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework adherence for Google and Stripe; the publisher states that Railway Corp.'s status is still being checked. A qualitative transfer impact assessment is handed to the account holder on request within thirty days. Breaches are notified to the controller within twenty-four hours. No data protection officer is appointed, which the privacy policy justifies as falling outside article 37. The legal notice is dated 15 August 2026, version 2.2.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms of service, customer content remains the customer's property. Uploading it grants Cyber Vault, S.L. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, limited to the contract term plus statutory retention, and strictly to host the material, process it, display it back to the customer and deliver the service, including passing it to indispensable subprocessors such as Vertex AI and S3. That licence expressly excludes any commercial exploitation of its own, advertising, or model retraining. Finished reports the customer exports belong to the customer, who stays legally answerable for their content. The platform's source code, report templates and the PerizIAl trademark belong to the publisher. Under the GDPR the customer is controller and PerizIAl is processor.
Reuse rights
Customers may reuse their own material freely and without asking permission: the reports and files they download or export are theirs, and they alone decide what is filed, to whom it is delivered and how it is reused afterwards. What the publisher may do with that material is deliberately narrower. Every piece of text bound for the model first passes a pseudonymisation shield that swaps IP addresses, e-mail addresses, Spanish national ID numbers, IBANs, phone numbers, card numbers and MAC addresses for reversible markers, and the model's answer is rehydrated on the way back. The data processing addendum signed with Google Cloud rules out any retraining on customer content, and the terms forbid the publisher from using that content for its own commercial, advertising or model-training purposes. Every AI output stays a draft until the adjuster validates it, and adjuster notes are written in reported speech for as long as they lack documentary support. One exception runs the other way: suggestions and feedback a customer volunteers may be built into the product without compensation.

Hosting summary
Hosting is split across several providers and the publisher maps each one. The generative model runs on Vertex AI Gemini 2.5 Flash in Google's europe-southwest1 region in Madrid, Spain. Case files — PDFs, photos, video and audio — sit in Amazon S3 eu-west-1 in Ireland by default, and a customer may point the platform at their own bucket in another region. The application and its PostgreSQL database are hosted by Railway Corp., a US company, deployed inside the European Union in Amsterdam under a data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses. Transactional mail goes through Resend in Frankfurt, Germany. Video appraisal audio and video bypass the web path entirely and reach a dedicated server at OVH in France. Cloudflare, a US company on a free plan, provides DNS, the reverse proxy and inbound mail routing; it terminates TLS, sees request content and offers no regional routing control. Gmail API and Google Maps calls are processed in the United States under standard contractual clauses and Data Privacy Framework adherence, and Stripe operates from Ireland with US fallback.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting PerizIAl.
- The name of the withdrawn forensic module still survives in the feature page URL and in a leftover robots.txt rule, so a buyer can easily believe they are purchasing a capability that no longer exists
- Criminal-case and digital-forensics use are contractually forbidden, and the platform can halt the AI outright on a case file showing those signals, sometimes only after the adjuster signs a formal declaration
- The tampering-detection tool is described by the publisher itself as a technical indicator, not proof, and treating a heat map as a verdict would be the user's error, not the software's
- The default timestamping authority is not eIDAS-qualified, so the legal presumption of date accuracy does not apply unless a qualified provider is configured
- Convenience can erode craft: pre-filled case files and drafted reports invite skim-reading, and the responsibility for every conclusion remains personally with the adjuster who signs
- A payment card is required from sign-up, and invoices are kept for six years even after the account is deleted, so anything worth keeping must be exported before leaving
- Cloudflare on a free plan terminates TLS and sees the content of every request without regional routing control, which sits uneasily beside the EU-residency promise made for the model and the files
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low. Opening an account takes about two minutes and a full team is described as operational within one working day. The only genuinely technical step is connecting the Gmail mailbox through OAuth, quoted at five minutes, and a guided onboarding assistant launches each integration in order. WhatsApp needs no configuration at all since messages leave from the adjuster's own number. Nothing has to be installed: the product is a web app, with an optional Windows desktop build and a Chrome extension. The desktop installer triggers a Windows SmartScreen warning, which the publisher documents in advance.

Should you pick PerizIAl?
PerizIAl is a narrow, deeply specialised product, and that is its strength. It was designed around the real workflow of the Spanish insurance loss adjuster — assignment, routing, appointment, inspection, report, settlement, invoice — rather than adapted from a generic case tool, and it shows in the details: templates for the major insurers, land-registry lookups, statutory deadlines kept in view. For an adjuster or a practice working in Spain, the fit is hard to match. What makes the tool unusual for its size is the quality of its disclosure. The publisher publishes a full subprocessor inventory with locations, a data processing agreement inside its terms, retention periods category by category, and a candid account of what it removed from the product and why. Very few vendors of this scale document their own withdrawals. That August 2026 retreat is the single most important thing a buyer should understand: the forensic appraisal module, the electronic signature, bodily-injury assessment and handwriting expertise are gone, and criminal-case work and digital forensics are now contractually excluded uses, not merely unsupported ones. Anyone who arrives expecting a forensic or judicial toolkit will be disappointed by design. The reservations are those of a young vendor. The interface exists only in Spanish, there is no permanent free plan and no way to contact support before registering, the API is advertised without public documentation, the default timestamping authority is not eIDAS-qualified, and the publisher itself flags that one hosting provider's adequacy status is still being verified. The site also still contradicts itself in places, counting six specialties where it sells five. Within Spanish insurance appraisal it is a serious, well-documented option; outside it, the case thins out quickly.
