What is myCoreAI?
myCoreAI is the main product of Myrspoven AB, a Stockholm software company registered under Swedish organisation number 559123-4736 at Åsögatan 115, 6th Floor, 116 24 Stockholm, and co-founded by Anders Kallebo (CEO) and Johan Brunius. The name comes from the myrspoven, the bar-tailed godwit (Limosa lapponica), a bird that flies some 13,000 km non-stop from Alaska to Oceania in under ten days on roughly 2.2 kWh - the company's chosen picture of the efficiency it is chasing.
The product is an AI layer for the heating, cooling and ventilation of commercial buildings. Its own documentation puts it plainly: "myCoreAI is software that continuously reads data from your building - the control system (BMS), indoor sensors, and the external factors that affect the building, such as outdoor temperature and weather." From that picture it computes fresh setpoints and writes them back, typically every 15 minutes, exploiting thermal inertia and anticipating demand rather than reacting to it. It sits on top of the existing building management system and does not replace it: if the link is lost, the BMS carries on running the building alone. - Teams expecting fault repair or maintenance planning: myCoreAI does not fix a failing sensor and does not schedule maintenance.

- Go through the building prerequisites with Myrspoven: API, BMS or SCADA access, read and write rights, credentials, sometimes a virtual server for the edge, and outbound-only network access.

GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed in concrete terms. The privacy policy, updated 7 July 2026, states: "We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)." It names the controller - Myrspoven AB, with a full postal address and info@myrspoven.com - lists the legal bases relied on (consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest) and enumerates rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, withdrawal of consent, portability, and complaint to a local supervisory authority. Rights are exercised by writing to info@myrspoven.com, and consent is requested before non-essential cookies are set where the law requires it. As an EU-established publisher, Myrspoven needs no Article 27 representative. Who owns the data?
The terms of service are explicit: "Data Ownership: All data collected relating to the Buildings is owned by the Customer." Reuse rights
Because the building data belongs to the customer, it can be reused for the customer's own purposes without asking: the documentation states it is always available to you and supports export for in-house reporting, and no separate permission step is described. On Myrspoven's side, the data drives the optimization itself and the measurement of savings against a climate-corrected baseline, and it feeds continuous model retraining, which the documentation lists as part of the always-on core of both contract tiers. The stated limit is purpose and compartmentalization: "We process it only to operate and improve the service for your buildings", and "We don't share data between buildings or between portfolios", with internal access logged and restricted to the buildings an employee actually follows. The documentation FAQ carries the only precise statement on hosting: "Your data is stored in EU-region data centers." Encryption is claimed both in transit and at rest. The terms of service add that Myrspoven uses secure cloud services for processing and storage, and that the customer consents to this. Beyond that the picture stops: no host country is named, and no cloud provider is identified anywhere on the site. The trust portal is said to cover hosting region, encryption and access control, but its content is not rendered publicly. Internally, Myrspoven states that access is logged and limited to the buildings an employee actually follows, with no data shared between buildings or between portfolios. One infrastructure observation, to be kept distinct from where customer data lives: the marketing site itself resolves to 52.178.158.175, a Microsoft Azure address in Dublin, Ireland, with DNS served by Cloudflare.
