It covers the whole chain in a single environment: site prospecting and screening, feasibility studies, basic engineering, detailed engineering and construction-ready documentation. The publisher positions it as a replacement for the fragmented mix of CAD, spreadsheets, GIS and simulation tools that solar teams normally stitch together.

The publisher is Enverus RatedPower S.L.U., based in Madrid and registered on 29 March 2017. Founded by Miguel Ángel Torrero, Juan Romero and Andrea Barber, the company joined Enverus in September 2022, which brought a direct link to the Enverus PRISM datasets. RatedPower also exports layouts as DWG for AutoCAD and feeds PVsyst. The site claims more than 64,000 projects, 5.1 TW simulated, 5,800 users across 160 countries, layouts up to 160 times faster and LCOE reduced by over 5%. Its yield algorithms were benchmarked against PVsyst by the engineering consultancy Black & Veatch.

GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed explicitly: the security page states that RatedPower is GDPR compliant. The publisher is established in Spain, so the Regulation applies directly and no Article 27 representative is named or required. The privacy policy, dated 11 September 2023, identifies the controller, lists the processing purposes and their legal bases — consent under Article 6(1)(a), pre-contractual necessity for job applications under Article 6(1)(b) — and sets out rights of access, rectification, erasure and withdrawal of consent, exercised by email to the DPO. Servers run on AWS inside the European Union, with a second deployment in AWS US East 1 that the company itself treats as an international transfer. Two gaps remain: no named subprocessor list is published, only Article 28 categories, and no data processing agreement is offered.
Who owns the data?
The controller named in the privacy policy is RATED POWER, S.L.U., tax ID B87769709, at Calle de Don Ramón de la Cruz 84, Madrid; the legal notice carries the same tax ID under the current style ENVERUS RATEDPOWER S.L.U. The company states that it processes only the data strictly needed to deliver the requested service, that it does not send personal information to third parties or share such data, and that it engages processors solely under Article 28 GDPR, bound by its instructions and checked regularly. International transfers are made to its parent company, Enverus. On contract termination, all data is removed at the client's request. The policy is dated 11 September 2023.
Reuse rights
The published documents grant end users no reuse rights over the platform's content. The legal notice reserves all industrial and intellectual property in the website and its elements to ENVERUS RATEDPOWER S.L.U. and expressly forbids reproduction, distribution or public communication, in whole or in part, for business purposes without authorisation; users may view, print or store elements only for strictly personal and private purposes. RatedPower states that its servers are hosted on Amazon Web Services within the European Union. In addition, a version of the software has been deployed on servers in AWS US East 1 (North Virginia), United States; the company notes that under the GDPR this storage counts as an international transfer even where data is not actively moved, and says it has put appropriate safeguards in place. International transfers also occur with Enverus, its parent company, with a cross-reference to the Enverus privacy policy. The infrastructure is isolated inside an AWS Virtual Private Cloud with separate security groups and access control lists. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or 1.3 and data at rest is encrypted with strong cryptographic algorithms, backed by a backup policy. The publisher itself is established in Madrid, Spain, so the arrangement sits under Spanish and EU jurisdiction.
