GDPR overview

STRUCINSPECT is established in Austria, so the GDPR applies directly and no Article 27 representative is required or named. The privacy policy states it was written to meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and refers to the Austrian Data Protection Act. It sets out data subject rights, points to the Austrian data protection authority for complaints, and describes TLS encryption. Who owns the data?

Under the general terms, everything a customer or its users upload — images and asset data — counts as "Proprietary Content", and so do the results STRUCINSPECT itself produces: digital twins, AI damage detection and 2D/3D damage mapping. The customer remains solely responsible for that content and warrants it is free of third-party rights. In return, the customer grants STRUCINSPECT an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable and sub-licensable right to use and exploit those service results to develop and improve artificial intelligence, including reproducing and editing them. The vendor undertakes to make Proprietary Content downloadable for backup, and expects customers to take backups regularly.

Reuse rights

Customers may freely use their own uploaded material and the results delivered to them, and the terms encourage them to download that content regularly for backup. Everything else is tightly bounded: clause 5.2 forbids reproducing, downloading, distributing, selling, renting, transferring, broadcasting, editing, translating, disassembling or reverse-engineering the Service Hub and its content without prior written consent, with the customer's own Proprietary Content carved out. In the opposite direction, STRUCINSPECT reserves a broad and irrevocable right over service results for AI development.
