GDPR overview
The GDPR framework is claimed explicitly rather than merely implied. The security whitepaper, dated October 2025, states compliance with the GDPR alongside CCPA/CPRA, SOC 2 Type II and the DMCA, and confirms that Data Processing Agreements are maintained with enterprise clients and vendors. The privacy policy devotes a section to the rights of EEA residents: access, correction, update, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, all exercised by email, plus consent withdrawal at any time and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. A link to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform sits in the footer. Two gaps remain: no Article 27 EU representative is designated and no data protection officer is named. The privacy policy still carries an August 2024 date, more than a year older than the security whitepaper.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms of use, you own the content you generate, to the extent the applicable law allows it, and you warrant that you hold every right to the images you upload, copyright and likeness included. Ownership is not exclusive in practice: the same terms let Dzine.ai and its affiliates use that content to develop and improve the services, and store it with its metadata, meaning image specifications, seeds and prompts, in your account history. The privacy policy confirms that stored content and its metadata are tied to your account and can identify you. Reuse rights
Reuse rights depend entirely on the plan. Any paid subscriber may use generated content commercially and freely, within the limits of applicable law, with no further permission to request. Free-tier users may only use their output for personal projects and are explicitly barred from commercial use. A second restriction applies to visibility rather than reuse: images produced on the free plan are public and may be picked up in the Dzine community feed, while private generation is a paid feature. Uploaded material carries its own condition, since you must hold every right to it before submitting it. All customer data is stored in SOC 2-certified cloud environments managed by AWS, with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2 or higher in transit. Access is restricted by role, production environments are tightly controlled and regularly audited, and the platform layers a web application firewall, DDoS protection, vulnerability scanning and a Zero Trust architecture on top. A security operations centre runs around the clock, with incident response aligned to ISO/IEC 27035 and prompt notification of affected users. What the site never states is where any of this physically sits: no hosting country and no region is named beyond the AWS provider itself.
