Overview

What is Insighto.ai?

Insighto.ai is a no-code platform for building AI agents that answer the phone and hold written conversations, sold as one product rather than two. The same agent can take an inbound call, place an outbound one, reply in a website chat widget, and carry the exchange on to WhatsApp, SMS, email, Facebook Messenger or Instagram, drawing on a single pool of prepaid credits that covers voice and text alike.

Setting one up follows four declared steps. You upload the material the agent should know, whether customer records, FAQs or a knowledge base. You assemble the agent in the browser, choosing its language, tone and voice and writing the prompts that shape its conversation paths. You connect the tools it needs. Then you put it live. The vendor insists no coding is required at any stage, and says a chat widget can be running in under five minutes.

The integration catalogue is named rather than merely claimed: HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce and GoHighLevel for CRM, Google Calendar for scheduling, Freshdesk for ticketing, PayPal for payments, Twilio, Plivo and Telnyx for telephony, ModMed for medical practices, PostgreSQL for direct data access, plus Zapier and a custom connector tool for whatever is missing. Voice agents cover more than 50 languages, are said to handle accents and dialects, offer voice cloning, and route calls to a department, another bot, or a human who receives the full context and a sentiment read.

Pricing is usage-based: $0.06 per voice minute and $0.015 per chat query, with $10 of credits granted at sign-up and no subscription obligation. Optional Booster plans from $49 per month unlock integrations, extra bots and advanced features, while agency tiers at $299 and $499 add sub-accounts, white-label branding and rebilling, the platform's clearest draw for resellers.

The publisher is Algoscale Technologies, a data engineering firm with offices in Newark, New Jersey and Noida, India. Its compliance portal claims GDPR compliance and names every subprocessor, though that portal and the terms of service flatly disagree on whether customer data trains the models.

When to use Insighto.ai / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Insighto.ai is the right fit.

When to use Insighto.ai

  • Small and mid-sized businesses drowning in inbound calls that cannot justify hiring more agents
  • Marketing and automation agencies reselling AI agents under their own brand, using sub-accounts and rebilling
  • Appointment-driven practices such as clinics, dental offices, estate agencies and restaurants
  • Support teams that need genuine 24/7 cover across phone, web chat, WhatsApp and social messaging at once
  • Non-technical operators who want an agent live in days without a developer or an in-house AI stack

When not to use Insighto.ai

  • Organisations that need a contractual guarantee their data will never train a model, since the terms and the compliance portal openly contradict each other on this point
  • Buyers bound by EU data residency, because hosting is declared in the United States only, with no European option
  • Procurement teams requiring the vendor's own SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA certification rather than the accreditations of its data centre provider
  • Customers who expect pro-rata refunds, as the terms rule out any refund on subscriptions and add-ons
  • Developers who want to bring their own language, transcription or text-to-speech models, which is the opposite of this all-in-one design

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Voice and chat in one product, sharing a single credit balance instead of two separate bills
  • Very low entry price at $0.06 per voice minute and $0.015 per chat query, with $10 of free credits and no subscription obligation
  • Genuinely no-code setup, echoed by several customer testimonials describing a go-live within a day
  • Full white-label mode with sub-accounts and rebilling, purpose-built for agencies reselling the service
  • A named integration catalogue spanning CRM, ticketing, payments, telephony and calendars, extended by Zapier and custom connectors
  • Public compliance portal listing every subprocessor by name, with a self-service data-request form and a DPA that needs no separate signature
  • Active Discord community and a public status page, both frequently praised in user reviews

Cons

  • The terms of service and the compliance portal contradict each other on whether customer data trains the chatbot, and no opt-out is documented anywhere
  • The privacy policy is unusually thin at six sections, with no effective date and no stated retention period
  • Hosting is declared in the United States only, and the compliance portal still leans on the EU-US Privacy Shield, invalidated in 2020
  • The security page names Azure data centres in one paragraph and AWS availability zones in another, and cites only the data centre provider's accreditations, never the vendor's own
  • Visible neglect on the site: the platform page FAQ is still filled with lorem ipsum placeholder text, including an unsupported 30-day free trial claim
  • The contact page presents a founder and CEO whose name matches nobody connected to the company, another leftover from a template
  • No refunds of any kind, not even pro-rata, and no native mobile app for iOS or Android

Pricing & Plans

There is no permanent free plan, but every new account receives $10 of credits at sign-up, which is enough to trial both voice and chat without paying. Beyond that the model is pay-as-you-go, priced at $0.06 per voice minute and $0.015 per chat query, with credits usable across either channel. Subscriptions are optional: the lowest recurring price point is the Power Booster plan at $49 per month, or $39 per month on annual billing, which unlocks integrations, additional bots and advanced features. Agency tiers begin at $299 per month. All plans carry a 20% annual discount, and the terms state that no purchase is refundable.

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Insighto.ai handles your data.

GDPR overview

GDPR is addressed concretely, through a dedicated compliance portal at trust.insighto.ai run on ComplyDog, which states outright that Insighto.ai is GDPR-compliant. It publishes a checklist marked complete across lawful basis, data security, governance and privacy rights, an online data-request form, and a named security contact: Mukesh Kumar Yadav, IT Security Manager, reachable at gdpr@insighto.ai. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and automated-decision rights are each covered, with a response window of roughly one month, and breach notification promised to the authority within 72 hours. A DPA is accepted automatically with the terms, no separate signature needed. Two gaps stand out: no Article 27 EU representative is named, and the portal still presents the EU-US Privacy Shield as a valid transfer safeguard, six years after its invalidation.

Who owns the data?

The compliance portal states plainly that customers own and control everything they collect, and that any retention period is set by the customer's own policy or legal duty, not by the vendor. Internal access is restricted to qualified staff with a specific need, typically a support request you have raised yourself. Against that, section 5 of the terms grants the publisher a worldwide, unrestricted and unpaid licence over anything you submit, framed as necessary to deliver the service. Section 11 lets either side end the relationship at any moment: you can close your account whenever you wish, and the publisher may terminate access with or without notice.

Reuse rights

The privacy policy says data is used to personalise the experience, answer queries, improve the service, send updates you can unsubscribe from, and feed analytics. It rules out selling personal information to advertisers, and states that end-user personal data is not shared with any third-party service, AI models included. The terms of service tell a different story: section 6 says collected personal data may be used to train and improve the chatbot, including to understand user preferences and behaviour, while section 4 confirms that OpenAI backend layers are involved. The compliance portal sides with the privacy policy, invoking Article 28 to promise processing strictly on the customer's instructions and no third-party transfer without consent. Nothing on the site resolves this contradiction, and no opt-out from training is documented. As the customer you remain free to reuse and export your own conversation data, in industry-standard formats that the portal cites as its answer to portability requests.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Deleted records are first flagged for deletion and can be restored on request; after 90 days the deletion becomes permanent and unrecoverable. Backups are kept for at least 30 days and fully purged at 90 days, and they cannot be edited on request because they exist for disaster recovery. Logs follow the same 90-day cycle, with passwords, API keys and security answers filtered out before storage. For live data the vendor sets no limit at all: the compliance portal states that customers own their data and that any retention period required by law or company policy is theirs to enforce, which also means deleting everything before you stop using the service. The privacy policy itself says nothing about retention.

Hosting summary

Hosting is declared in the United States, with no European residency option. The compliance portal states the data centres are with Amazon Web Services in the United States, while the security page says the application is hosted and managed within Azure secure data centres and elsewhere mentions redundancy across multiple AWS availability zones. The subprocessor list resolves the ambiguity only partly by naming Azure, alongside Google, Google Analytics, Facebook, HubSpot, OpenAI LLC, ElevenLabs, Stripe and an optional Partnero, all located in the United States. The accreditations quoted, ISO 27001, SOC 1 and SOC 2, PCI Level 1, FISMA Moderate and Sarbanes-Oxley, belong to the data centre provider rather than to the vendor. Primary databases, backups, archives and logs are encrypted at rest; all web traffic is forced over TLS with HSTS. The architecture is n-tier with firewalls between layers, servers are not directly exposed, and third-party penetration testing is described as regular.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Insighto.ai.

  • The terms let collected personal data train the chatbot while the privacy policy denies it, and no opt-out exists, so anything your customers say on a call may be reused in ways you cannot control
  • Section 5 of the terms grants a worldwide, unrestricted and unpaid licence over everything you submit, which is far broader than what delivering the service requires
  • Conversations pass through OpenAI and ElevenLabs as declared subprocessors, so sensitive customer data leaves the vendor's own perimeter by design
  • Hosting is United States only and the compliance portal still relies on the Privacy Shield, so an EU controller cannot lean on this documentation to justify its transfers
  • Section 12 removes all refunds and section 11 allows termination without notice, leaving little recourse if the service stops suiting you mid-term
  • Letting an AI take every routine call quietly erodes the team's own feel for what customers are struggling with, and the escalation path is only as good as the intents someone remembered to configure
  • Callers are not always told they are speaking to a machine, and the white-label mode is explicitly sold on customers not realising it, which is a disclosure risk you inherit rather than the vendor
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Low for the chat side, moderate for voice. Building and training an agent is entirely no-code, and the vendor claims a website widget can be live in under five minutes; one customer describes going live the next day with limited technical knowledge. The friction sits in telephony, where you must open a Twilio, Plivo or Telnyx account and attach a number yourself. Advanced and custom integrations are reserved for higher tiers, assisted onboarding starts at the Ultra plan, and documentation plus an active Discord community cover the rest.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Insighto.ai?
It is a no-code platform for building AI agents that both answer phone calls and hold written conversations, automating customer interactions across voice and messaging channels from a single configuration.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The platform is presented as entirely no-code, from training the agent on your data to publishing it, and the vendor claims a chat widget can be live in under five minutes.
How much does it cost?
Usage is billed at $0.06 per voice minute and $0.015 per chat query. Optional Booster subscriptions start at $49 per month, and agency plans at $299 per month, with a 20% discount on annual billing.
Is there a way to try it for free?
Yes. Every new account is credited with $10 at sign-up, usable across both voice and chat. There is no permanent free plan beyond those starting credits.
Which channels and languages are supported?
Phone, a website widget, WhatsApp, SMS, email, Facebook Messenger and Instagram. The platform claims support for more than 50 languages, including accent and dialect handling, though it never publishes the full list.
Can I resell it under my own brand?
Yes. Agency plans include white labelling, logo removal, a custom domain, sub-accounts and rebilling, which makes reselling to end clients the intended use of those tiers.
Where is my data hosted and how long is it kept?
The compliance portal places the data centres in the United States, with no European option. Deleted records become unrecoverable after 90 days, backups are kept for at least 30 days and fully purged at 90.
Is customer data used to train the AI?
The documents disagree. Section 6 of the terms says collected personal data may be used to train and improve the chatbot, while the privacy policy and the compliance portal say the opposite. No opt-out is documented, so ask before committing.
Is a Data Processing Agreement available?
Yes, and no separate signature is required: accepting the terms of service automatically accepts the DPA, which is published on the compliance portal.
Is there a mobile app or a refund policy?
There is no native iOS or Android app, only web and API access. Section 12 of the terms rules out refunds entirely, including pro-rata refunds for unused periods.
Conclusion

Should you pick Insighto.ai?

Insighto.ai answers a narrow question well: how does a small team cover the phone and the chat window at once, around the clock, without hiring? Putting voice and text on one credit balance is a real design decision rather than a marketing line, and the entry price of $0.06 per voice minute with $10 of credits at sign-up removes almost every reason not to test it. The integration list is named rather than gestured at, the no-code claim is echoed by customers describing a go-live within a day, and the white-label tiers with sub-accounts and rebilling make it one of the more credible options for an agency that wants to resell AI agents under its own name.

The reservations are all about paperwork, and they are not trivial. The terms of service say customer data may be used to train the chatbot; the privacy policy and the compliance portal say it is not shared with any AI model. Nothing reconciles the two, and no training opt-out is documented. Hosting is United States only, the portal still cites the Privacy Shield as if it were valid, and the security page cannot decide whether the infrastructure runs on Azure or AWS. The only certifications quoted belong to the data centre provider, not to the vendor.

Smaller signs point the same way. The platform page FAQ still carries lorem ipsum placeholder text, and the contact page names a founder who has no connection to the company. For a team automating support calls under $200 a month, none of this is disqualifying. For a regulated buyer with a security questionnaire to fill in, the documentation needs to be tightened before signature. Ask for the DPA text and a written answer on training data first.
