Logopia is a Belgian browser tool for speech therapists: dictate or type your observations after a session and it returns a structured assessment report built to the INAMI framework, then pre-fills the 98a to 98g intervention request annexes.
What is Logopia?
Logopia is a Belgian web application that helps speech therapists write their assessment reports. It is published by MINDFUEL, a sole proprietorship based in Jette, Belgium, and it addresses self-employed speech therapists practising in Belgium: the site exists in French and in Dutch, and the product is built on the Belgian INAMI nomenclature (article 36).
The chain is short. After a session, the therapist dictates her observations or types them as free text. The tool returns a structured narrative report: case history, clinical observations, assessment by domain, a table of standardised tests, diagnostic conclusion and therapeutic plan. Forty native templates come from crossing 8 clinical domains (oral language, written language, logico-mathematical skills, voice, swallowing, oro-myo-facial disorders, stuttering, and cognition including aphasia and neurological disorders) with 5 report moments (initial assessment, renewal, follow-up, session note, end of care). Personal templates imported from Word sit alongside them.
Beyond drafting, Logopia takes on the administrative side. It pre-fills the INAMI intervention request annexes 98a to 98g according to the pathology, checks the content against the eligibility criteria and highlights what is missing. Scores are extracted automatically from a picture of a scoring sheet and returned in a table colour-coded by severity: within norms, fragile, moderate deficit, severe deficit. Uploading an older report teaches the tool the therapist's own headings, sections, paragraph length and vocabulary.
Patient files are organised around the assessments, with medical documents imported as PDF, Word or images through OCR, continuous auto-save and a dashboard. Reports can be signed electronically with a drawn or imported signature, exported to PDF with the practice letterhead, and sent straight to the prescribing doctor, who replies to the therapist's professional address.
The publisher claims a few minutes of work instead of the one to two hours a report takes by hand, and sixty seconds to generate one. It positions itself against Word or Pages and against ChatGPT on five points: native INAMI format, style learning, score extraction, EU hosting and pseudonymisation. It is equally explicit about its limits: Logopia is not a practice management system and covers neither the diary, nor INAMI invoicing, nor submission through Logopedio.be.

How to use Logopia

Pricing & Plans
There is no permanent free plan. Logopia is sold as a single subscription, Logopia Pro, at 39.90 EUR including tax per month, with no commitment and cancellable at any time; the terms (article 5) also set out an annual option at 399 EUR, presented as roughly two months free. Prices are quoted inclusive of tax, and the publisher points out that speech therapists cannot recover VAT, paramedical services being exempt under article 44 paragraph 2 1 of the Belgian VAT Code. A 7-day free trial is available without a bank card; at its end, with no payment method registered, the account switches to read-only and no data is deleted. Payment is handled by Mollie, the subscription renews automatically at each due date unless cancelled, and an invoice is issued for each payment. There are no credits to top up and no monthly usage cap.

GDPR overview
Concrete and detailed. MINDFUEL states it complies with the GDPR and with the Belgian law of 30 July 2018 on data protection. The privacy policy is dated 15 July 2026 and the terms 21 May 2026. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability are listed, with a one-month response commitment and requests sent to info@logopia.be; patients exercise their rights with their speech therapist, whom MINDFUEL assists as processor. The supervisory authority is named: the Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be. Professional secrecy under article 458 of the Belgian Criminal Code is cited. The privacy policy places AI processing with Mistral AI in France; only Vercel Inc. is a US company, covered by standard contractual clauses (decision 2021/914, Module 2), additional technical measures and a transfer impact assessment embedded in a DPIA. A DPO is said to be reachable, but none is named.
Who owns the data?
MINDFUEL claims nothing over what the therapist writes: article 8 of the terms states that the assessments and session reports produced with the service belong to her and that MINDFUEL claims no right over their content. The legal notice confirms that only the Logopia service and brand belong to MINDFUEL. Two GDPR roles coexist. For the therapist's own account data, MINDFUEL is the controller. For the patient data she enters, health data included, she is the controller and MINDFUEL acts as processor on her instructions, under article 28 GDPR. Patients therefore exercise their rights with their speech therapist, not with MINDFUEL.
Reuse rights
Because the documents belong to the therapist, she can reuse, export and send them without asking MINDFUEL for anything. On MINDFUEL's side, the privacy policy attaches a purpose and a legal basis to each processing operation: performance of the contract, processing on the therapist's instructions for patient data (article 9.2.h GDPR together with professional secrecy), a legal accounting obligation, legitimate interest for security, and consent for marketing and audience measurement. Content is pseudonymised before any call to an AI model: patient first and last names, national register numbers, INAMI and company numbers, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, the exact date of birth (passed on as an age in years) and the prescribing doctor's name. The administrative identifiers needed on official documents, such as the national register number, health insurance fund and address, are never sent to the AI at all; they are inserted into the exports by a deterministic code. The audit log of AI calls keeps metadata only, never the content of the prompt. Voice recordings are transcribed and then deleted, and only the text transcript is kept. The AI models are used in Zero Data Retention mode: no training on the data transmitted and no copy kept beyond the processing of the request. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not by MINDFUEL.

Hosting summary
The PostgreSQL database is hosted by Neon (Databricks Inc.) on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the EU. The web application and its serverless functions run on Vercel Inc. in that same Frankfurt region, so patient data is processed where it is stored: the privacy policy states that no patient data is kept persistently outside the EU. Encryption is AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. The other subprocessors named in the privacy policy are Mistral AI (Paris, France), hosted in the European Union; Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, a French company) on OVH France and Google Cloud Platform Belgium, for transactional and marketing e-mails to speech therapists only, with no patient data; Mollie B.V. (Amsterdam, Netherlands) for payments and recurring debits; and Google LLC for authentication, only where Google sign-in is used. Vercel Inc. remains a US company, so standard contractual clauses (decision 2021/914, Module 2) and the Data Privacy Framework are cited. One point on certifications: the ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701 and SOC 2 Type II certifications quoted belong to the database hosting infrastructure, AWS through Neon, not to Logopia, and Brevo holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for its own part.

- The site contradicts itself on the AI engine. The home page, the JSON-LD FAQ and llms.txt announce OpenAI's Whisper for dictation and GPT-4.1 for drafting, while the privacy policy dated 15 July 2026 names Mistral AI (France), Mistral OCR and Voxtral and states that AI processing is now carried out by a processor established in the EU. If it matters to you where health data actually goes, ask before subscribing.
- INAMI compliance here is a document structure, not an accreditation: the site itself says Logopia is not an INAMI-approved body and that responsibility for the content stays with the speech therapist. Every generated report has to be reread, since a machine-written case history can read convincingly and still be wrong.
- Leaning on generated wording session after session can dull the clinical reasoning a report is supposed to carry. The tool restates observations, it does not make the diagnostic judgement.
- The ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701 and SOC 2 Type II certifications quoted are those of the AWS infrastructure used by Neon, not certifications held by MINDFUEL or Logopia. Brevo separately holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
- Vercel Inc. is a US company. Execution takes place in the Frankfurt region, but what stands between the data and US law is a set of transfer safeguards: standard contractual clauses and the Data Privacy Framework.
- No named data protection officer: the home page says a DPO can be reached, while the privacy policy simply points to info@logopia.be. A Meta pixel is also present, with marketing cookies subject to consent.
- Very recent publisher, with the domain registered on 29 May 2026, no Wayback capture and no incorporation date published on the site; the 399 EUR annual price appears only in the terms, never in the pricing grid. Entrusting your report writing to a one-person service means depending on its continuity, so keep the exports the terms (article 10) let you take before deletion.

Its value lies less in generating text, which many tools now do, than in the fact that the output lands in the shape Belgian speech therapists actually have to produce, and in the pre-filling of the INAMI 98a to 98g intervention request annexes, the administrative step the site keeps returning to. Add the style learning from a past report and the import of personal Word templates, and the tool fits an existing way of working rather than replacing it.
The privacy posture is unusually well documented for a publisher of this size: pseudonymisation described field by field, subprocessors named one by one with their role and location, Zero Data Retention agreed with the AI providers, and database and application in the same EU region.
