Five modes cover different material: General for photos, Logo for brand graphics, Text for screenshots, Anime for illustrations, and Custom, where you type an instruction such as erase the table. Two engines are offered, V1 for speed and V2 for precision on hair, thin edges and glossy surfaces. You then keep the transparency or swap in white, a solid colour or an AI-generated scene, and a dedicated page handles several files at once. JPG, PNG, HEIC and WEBP are accepted; GIFs go to a separate tool. One credit balance also powers some forty sibling tools, from upscaling and watermark removal to interior design and video, with the interface in 18 languages. There is no API and no developer documentation, despite Developers appearing among the claimed audiences. REFAR LTD, a UK company, has run the service since February 2025.

EzRemove runs on a freemium credit model. A permanent free tier grants daily free credits, reset at 00:00 UTC and not carried over, which give access to every tool at standard resolutions. Credits are then bought in three forms: One-Time Payment packs of 70, 300, 700, 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 and 9,000 credits; Monthly Plans of 100, 500, 2,000 or 5,000 credits per month; and a Yearly Pass of 6,000 or 15,000 credits, billed once and released month by month. No monetary amount is published on the site: the pricing page loads its figures at runtime through an application API, so no entry price, currency or billing unit can be quoted here. Consumption depends on the tool, the mode, the AI model, the resolution, the video length and the batch size, and the cost is displayed before a job starts, the site's own illustration being 300 uses from a 300-credit pack for a one-credit feature. Uploading is free and credits are debited only when a paid action is triggered. Monthly credits expire at month end, with limited rollover on the yearly tiers, while one-off credits do not expire. GDPR overview
Compliance is asserted rather than documented. Terms section 14 states that the services are provided in compliance with the UK GDPR, and privacy section 10 names the Data Protection Act 2018, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 in so far as it applies in the UK. Section 9 grants residents of EU member states and of Australia access to a copy of their data, correction of inaccuracies and objection to marketing. The data protection contact is support@ezremove.ai; the publisher is REFAR LTD, company number 16535800, under the law and non-exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales. Absent from the public record: a named DPO, an Article 27 EU representative, a DPA, a subprocessor list, a stated lawful basis, and explicit erasure and portability rights. Section 8 announces transfers to the United States and other territories without naming standard contractual clauses.
Who owns the data?
The terms leave ownership of uploaded content with the user, but frame it as a warranty rather than a grant. Section 10 requires that you own the content, or hold all the rights, licences, permissions and authorisations needed to use and process it, and makes you solely responsible for the legality, accuracy and appropriateness of whatever you submit. EzRemove reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where activity is unlawful or infringing. No clause transfers ownership of uploaded files or of the resulting images to REFAR LTD, and none grants the publisher a licence over them. The privacy policy, a generic template, says nothing about uploaded content ownership.
Reuse rights
The pricing FAQ is the only product-specific statement: uploaded files are used solely to provide the requested editing and processing services, and are not retained longer than necessary for those purposes. Nothing in the terms reserves rights over the output, so the user reuses the finished images freely, including commercially, without asking permission. The privacy and cookies policy covers a different territory: log collection (IP address, date and time, browser type), cookies and mobile advertising identifiers such as the IDFA and the Android Advertising ID, analytics and advertising cookies with Google Analytics named, and advertising retargeting. It permits sharing with providers handling hosting, billing, analytics and support, with a counterparty in a merger or sale, and with authorities on legal request. That policy reads as an advertising-analytics template written for advertiser Clients rather than for an image editor, so it is a poor guide to how uploads are actually handled. Training of models on user content is neither claimed nor excluded anywhere.

What the site says about hosting comes from its privacy and cookies policy, a generic template that never mentions image editing, so it should be read as an indication rather than as a product commitment. Section 8 states that data collected will be stored on servers in the United States or in other territories, and allows onward transfer to third-party processors or group companies located in other countries. Section 7 adds only that servers sit behind firewalls in secure facilities, with no further detail. No hosting provider is named, no contractual region is offered and there is no data residency option. One technical observation: the site is served behind Cloudflare (AS13335, resolved IP 104.18.17.164 in anycast), so the country of the CDN node says nothing about where the real hosting sits. In practice, the United States should be assumed as the hosting jurisdiction, with the contract itself governed by the law of England and Wales.

The flip side is that there is nothing to wire up either: no API, no SDK and no named third-party integration, which leaves anyone wanting the tool inside an existing pipeline without a supported route.
