getimg.ai
getimg.ai gathers image, video, music, speech and sound-effect generation into a single credit-based workspace, automatically routing each prompt to the best of 29+ integrated models. Commercial rights come with every paid plan.
What is getimg.ai?
getimg.ai is a multimodal generative AI platform that puts image, video, music, speech and sound-effect creation in one browser workspace. Its central claim is not that it owns a better model but that it spares you the choice: the publisher says it has integrated 29+ leading AI models and built the knowledge of which one suits which task into the product, so a prompt is routed automatically. The named catalogue spans FLUX, Google Veo, Kling, Seedance, Seedream, Nano Banana, Sora, GPT Image, Grok Imagine, MiniMax, Qwen Image, Wan, Z-Image Turbo, Lyria, Eleven Music, Eleven Sound Effects and Topaz.
Editing sits alongside generation rather than in a separate tool: image upscaling from 4K to 16K depending on tier, video upscaling, smart resizing, background removal and replacement, a hairstyle changer and a built-in image editor. Teams get a shared space where every member sees the same generations and uploads, folders organised by client, campaign or style, unlimited content storage history on all paid plans, and per-seat pricing that scales from two people to a hundred, with two to ten teams by tier.
The economics run on credits. Every action costs at least one, the price depends on the model, the batch size and options such as native audio in video, and the cost is displayed above the button before you confirm. Credits renew on your signup anniversary rather than the first of the month, and they do not roll over.
The API is a separate product on separate billing: pay-as-you-go with no subscription and no minimum spend, two endpoints, images from $0.015 and video from $0.022 per second, official Node.js and Python SDKs, and a usage object returning the exact cost of each request.
The publisher is Webrockets Sp. z o. o., based in Warsaw, Poland. Its About page claims 10M+ users, a 2022 founding, 20+ languages and an independent team, and the API page claims 1M+ generations daily.
What it does
- Generate images from a text prompt, a reference image, or both together
- Generate video from text or from an image, with first-frame, last-frame and reference-image control
- Turn a written script into a voiceover, choosing from 30 voices and directing tone, pace and emotion inline
- Compose original music, instrumental or sung, with custom lyrics and across several languages
- Upscale images up to 16K and upscale video, depending on the plan
- Remove or replace backgrounds, resize intelligently for each channel, and retouch in the built-in editor
- Call the same capabilities through a two-endpoint API with official Node.js and Python SDKs
When to use getimg.ai / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if getimg.ai is the right fit.
When to use getimg.ai
- Marketing and social media agencies producing campaign visuals, paid social variants, voiceovers and background music at volume
- In-house creative and production teams that need a shared workspace, client folders and per-seat scaling from a two-person studio upwards
- Photographers restoring archives, swapping backdrops and generating concept stills ahead of a shoot
- Architects and interior designers producing client-ready renders of materials, lighting and exterior conditions
- Developers who want a single pay-as-you-go API and one request format across two dozen image and video models
When not to use getimg.ai
- Professionals tempted by the cheapest tier: the Entry plan is personal-use only and carries no commercial rights
- Buyers who expect API access to come with the platform subscription, since the API is billed entirely separately
- Teams needing a contractual service-level agreement, which the terms explicitly decline to offer for most services
- Organisations whose procurement requires a signed data processing agreement, a named DPO or a documented hosting jurisdiction
- Anyone counting on unused credits carrying over, on generous refunds, or on a native mobile app
How to use getimg.ai
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account from the registration page, or sign in if you already have one
- Pick the task you need: create image, create video, create music, create speech, upscale, resize or remove background
- Describe the asset the way you already think about it, covering the offer, product, audience, mood, format and channel
- Let automatic prompt enhancement do the rest, since the FAQ says a few words are enough to get started
- Check the credit cost shown above the action button before you confirm the generation
- For video, set the first frame, last frame or reference image, then choose the aspect ratio and duration
- For voiceover, pick one of the 30 voices and direct tone, pace and emotion inline within the script
- Refine, create variations and resize for each channel, building from the same direction rather than starting over
- For teams, organise output into folders by client, campaign or style, and add seats as the work grows
- For the API, create a key in the Developer Dashboard, add credit, then call the images or video endpoint
Pros & Cons
Pros
- One subscription covers five modalities, removing the need to stack several creative tools
- Automatic model selection means no model research, benchmarking or industry-watching falls on the user
- Commercial rights are included on every paid plan, and unlimited storage history on all four tiers
- Credit cost is shown before each action, and the API returns the exact cost of every request
- The publisher is EU-based and names its six subprocessors individually
- The API needs no subscription and no minimum spend, billing purely per generation
- Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT, plans change at any time and cancellation is self-service
Cons
- The privacy policy and subprocessor list date from September 2022 and predate the video and audio expansion
- Nothing is published on whether customer data trains models, and no opt-out is documented
- No data processing agreement is published or offered, and no DPO is named
- No hosting country or region is disclosed even though AWS and Google Cloud are declared subprocessors
- Refunds require under 100 credits used and three days or fewer, and are excluded on discounted purchases
- The Entry tier carries no commercial rights, and credit top-ups are limited to Plus and Ultra
- Support runs through a single mailbox, with no contact page, phone or chat, and no SLA on most services
Pricing & Plans
A permanent free plan exists: the cancellation policy states that once a paid period expires the account is automatically downgraded to a free tier with limited functionality. The lowest paid entry point is the Entry plan at EUR 10.00 per month on monthly billing, falling to EUR 8 per month on an annual commitment of EUR 96. All displayed prices include VAT and applicable local taxes. The API is billed separately on a pay-as-you-go basis, from USD 0.015 per image and USD 0.022 per second of video, with no subscription and no minimum spend.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how getimg.ai handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR handling is concrete rather than decorative. The privacy policy, in force since 23 September 2022, names the GDPR alongside the CCPA and applies the same rights to every customer regardless of location. Ten rights are enumerated: information, access, rectification, erasure, complaint, restriction of processing, objection, portability, freedom from solely automated decisions, and non-discrimination. Complaints are routed through the EDPB list of supervisory authorities, and rights are exercised in-account, by email or by post to the Warsaw office. Identity is verified with two previously collected items before deletion, and an agent needs the account holder's signed consent. Two gaps stand out: no data processing agreement is published or offered, and no data protection officer is named. As a Polish company, the publisher needs no Article 27 representative.
Who owns the data?
The terms are unusually direct on ownership: Webrockets claims no intellectual property rights over the material users provide, and everything uploaded remains theirs. The privacy policy opens on the same principle, stating that the data is the user's and not the company's, and promising that personal data has never been and will never be sold. Outputs follow the plan rather than the upload: commercial use of generated images and videos is granted on every paid subscription, under the CreativeML Open RAIL-M licence cited in the pricing FAQ. What the company retains is its own asset, namely the names, look and feel of the service itself.
Reuse rights
Paid subscribers may reuse what they generate commercially without asking further permission, which the pricing FAQ and the general FAQ both confirm for images and videos alike; the Entry tier is presented as personal use and does not carry that right. Reuse remains bounded by the Use Restrictions page, which forbids deepfakes, explicit sexual content, deceptive or defamatory material, and any upload the user does not hold full legal rights to. On the company's side, the terms limit processing to what the privacy policy describes and to nothing else, and access to customer content is presented as a last-resort measure confined to abuse investigations. No page states whether customer data feeds model training.

Hosting summary
Hosting is the least documented part of the offer. The subprocessor page, last updated 22 September 2022, names six third parties: Stripe for payments, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform for cloud services, Plausible Analytics and PostHog for analytics, and Sentry for error reporting. What it does not say is where any of them hold the data: no hosting country and no region is stated anywhere on the site. The publisher's repeated claim of being 'Made in EU' and built and operated in the EU describes the company and its team, not the location of the servers, and the two should not be conflated. On security, the privacy policy states that all data is encrypted via SSL/TLS in transit and that database backups are encrypted, while candidly acknowledging that most data is not encrypted at rest. The domain resolves to a Cloudflare anycast address, which identifies a CDN edge node rather than any origin server or data location.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting getimg.ai.
- The Entry plan is personal use only and grants no commercial rights, the costliest misreading a professional can make here
- Platform and API are separate purchases, so a subscription does not unlock a single API call
- Credits expire at the end of their billing period, never roll over, and renew on your signup anniversary rather than month-start
- Refunds are effectively unavailable after three days or 100 credits, and always unavailable on discounted purchases
- Signup IP addresses are kept indefinitely and most data sits unencrypted at rest, per the privacy policy
- No documented way to exclude your material from model training, and no published DPA to fall back on
- Generated content stays bound by the Use Restrictions page, where deepfakes, explicit sexual content and deceptive material trigger permanent bans and possible legal action
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low on the platform side. Nothing is installed, everything runs in the browser after signup, automatic model selection removes any need to know the model landscape, automatic prompt enhancement means a few words suffice, and the credit cost of each action appears before you confirm it. Guides and a prompt book are available. The API asks a little more: create a key in the Developer Dashboard, add prepaid credit, then call one of two endpoints, helped by official Node.js and Python SDKs and a single request format. Video generation is asynchronous with polling, so client-side state handling is required.

Should you pick getimg.ai?
getimg.ai answers a real problem with an unusually clear idea: creative teams should not have to track which generative model is currently best at which job. By integrating 29+ models behind automatic selection and covering images, video, music, speech and sound effects on one credit balance, it removes both the research burden and the habit of stacking four subscriptions. For agencies, in-house creative teams, photographers, architects and e-commerce sellers producing at volume, that consolidation is the whole value, and unlimited storage history plus commercial rights on every paid plan make it credible.
Two reservations deserve weight. The first is commercial: the Entry tier looks like the affordable way in but is personal-use only, credits never roll over, refunds are tightly bounded at three days and 100 credits, and the API is billed entirely apart from the platform. Read the tier table before committing, not after.
The second is governance. The privacy policy and subprocessor list have not been revised since September 2022, well before video and audio joined the product, and they are silent on whether customer data trains models. There is no published data processing agreement, no named DPO, and no stated hosting country or region even though AWS and Google Cloud are declared subprocessors. Against that, the publisher is genuinely EU-based in Warsaw, names its six subprocessors individually, applies GDPR rights to all customers regardless of location, and is candid that most data sits unencrypted at rest.
The verdict is favourable for creative production, with caution for regulated procurement. If your buying process needs a signed DPA and a documented jurisdiction, this is not yet the tool. If it needs breadth, speed and a predictable monthly bill, it is a strong fit.
