What is LavorIAmo?
LavorIAmo is an Italian mobile career coach built on a simple premise: give job hunters the same AI tooling that recruiters already use against them. It is published by Andrea Sabato, an independent developer based in Brindisi, in Puglia, and it sets out to democratise services that until now meant paying a career coach.
Everything starts with your CV. Upload it as a PDF or DOCX and the AI extracts skills, experience and strengths within seconds. The app then opens onto a job feed you browse by swiping, like a social timeline. A proprietary 2+1 algorithm alternates two standard listings with one Top Match chosen by the AI against your profile, filtered by area and skills. Offers are aggregated from Lavoro per Te, the Puglia regional employment portal, alongside Adzuna and Jooble.
Tap a listing and the affinity analysis returns a percentage match score, the strengths of your candidacy and the keyword or competence gaps to close. Four further tools sit beside it. The voice interview simulator builds behavioural, technical and situational questions from the role and the company, listens to you answer aloud and reports back on relevance, grammar, tone and clarity; on Google Play the AI interviewer is named Gaia. The salary negotiation trainer puts you through five rounds against a virtual HR manager and scores your case. The ATS optimiser rewrites CV sections around screening keywords and checks that the format survives automated parsers. A cover letter generator produces a Word document from your CV and the advert, and a 24/7 chat coach answers career questions with PDF export.
A separate strand, Radar Lavoretti, runs the other way round: it maps local work and lets anyone post an advert to reach nearby tradespeople and freelancers across Puglia and Italy.
The app is free and grants five AI actions a day; extra credits are bought outright rather than subscribed to. It is Android-only in practice — the site promises iOS as coming soon, but no App Store listing exists. A browser version reuses the same account to unlock web demos of several tools.

GDPR overview
GDPR compliance is claimed explicitly and in several places: a “GDPR Compliant” badge on the homepage, a privacy section headed “Your Rights and Data Deletion (GDPR compliant)”, and the same claim in the FAQ and in the technical summary published for AI crawlers. The rights named are access, rectification and erasure. Full account deletion is offered through three channels — in-app settings, a dedicated deletion page, and privacy@lavoriamo.app — with erasure announced within 30 days, although the deletion page says 30 working days. The publisher is established in Italy, so no Article 27 representative applies. Beyond that the implementation is thin: no data protection officer is named, no DPA is offered, no legal basis is stated, international transfers are not addressed, and the third-party AI providers are listed only by example.
Who owns the data?
The site publishes no terms of service, so ownership of the CVs you upload and of the documents the AI produces is never stipulated — a notable gap. The privacy policy of 11 May 2026 is the only contractual text. It records the collection of names, email addresses, credentials, store-handled billing data, uploaded CVs, cover letters, academic and professional history, job preferences, temporary voice input, device details, IP addresses and crash logs, and it classes the professional data as sensitive. The publisher undertakes never to sell, rent or trade personal data to third parties for marketing purposes, while text and voice transcripts are passed to third-party AI providers such as OpenAI. The publisher is Andrea Sabato, a private individual based in Brindisi, Italy.
Reuse rights
Nothing published restricts what you may do with the output. With no terms of service there is no licence clause, no intellectual property statement and no reuse condition at all — the question is simply never addressed. In practice the product is designed around reuse: cover letters are exported to Word, coaching answers to PDF, CV templates are downloadable inside the app, and the CV generator explicitly invites you to copy the rewritten text in one click and use it straight away in your applications. The stated purpose of the data collected is confined to running and improving the features, managing your account and credit balance, providing customer assistance, and improving security and fraud prevention.

No hosting country, region or provider is named anywhere — not in the privacy policy, not on the site, not in the Google Play listing. The wording stays generic: data is held on protected cloud servers, on secure servers encrypted in transit, with end-to-end encryption claimed. The technical summary the site publishes for AI crawlers mentions a PostgreSQL backend, again without a location. The publisher is established in Brindisi, Italy, and therefore falls under the GDPR, which the site claims to meet. Third-party AI providers are named only by example, OpenAI being the one cited, while payments run through RevenueCat and the Google Play and App Store billing systems. Google Play's data safety panel states that no data is shared with third parties, that data is encrypted in transit, and that deletion can be requested. The marketing site itself sits behind Cloudflare on an anycast address resolving to a US node, but that describes the brochure site rather than where application data is stored.
