Syllog
Syllog is an AI-first corporate training platform from Italian publisher Syllog S.r.l. It converts internal procedures, manuals and slide decks into card-based courses, AI-avatar videos, podcasts and quizzes, then exports them to an existing LMS.
What is Syllog?
Syllog is an AI-first corporate training platform published by Syllog S.r.l., an Italian company based in Prato, Tuscany, with a second office in Turin. Its premise is that company knowledge sits trapped in ineffective PDFs and presentations. You upload procedures, manuals, regulations or slide decks, and an AI agent builds a first version of a learning path: slides carrying auto-generated text, images, podcasts or AI avatars, which a person then edits and organises into modules. The published workflow has four steps: set your preferences, generate, personalise the path, share or export.
The product is sold three ways. AI-First LMS is the complete learning management platform. Syllog AI Author is the generation module on its own, meant to sit on top of an LMS a company already runs; content leaves through SCORM and xAPI export, and Syllog states that it handles LMS integrations without additional fees. Custom Courses is a service in which the Syllog team produces finished courses and delivers them in two weeks.
Three product pillars are documented. Authoring covers Document to Courses, PowerPoint to Podcast, PowerPoint to Avatar and Automatic Assessment. Smart delivery covers SSO or custom logins, automatic multilingual translation with subtitles, a per-learner choice of audio, video or slides, a personal AI tutor and real-time feedback. Intelligent analytics covers per-team dashboards, control over which data is collected, audit-ready reports and AI-agent recommendations.
Four use cases have dedicated pages - customer success, sales enablement, learning and development, safety and quality - alongside industry pages for manufacturing, banking and insurance, engineering, and tech and digital. Named customers include BCC Iccrea (22,000 employees across 111 cooperative banks), Telepass, Gualapack, Prograd and ASB. The homepage claims 75% lower training costs, 17 hours saved on a one-hour course and 92% higher employee satisfaction, none of them backed by a published methodology.
Transparency is where the site stops short. Every button leads to Book a demo or Request information: there is no self-service sign-up, no pricing page, no terms and conditions and no about page. Syllog announced a 500,000 EUR pre-seed round in November 2024 and has been incubated by I3P since 2023.
What it does
- Upload internal documents in several formats: procedures, manuals, regulations, quality standards and PowerPoint decks.
- Set the generation preferences: language, output format and teaching methodology.
- Let the AI agent produce a first version of the learning path, with slides, auto-generated text, images, podcasts or AI avatars.
- Edit the AI draft, add your own content and organise it into modules.
- Generate quizzes, tests and assessments automatically from the same source material.
- Share the path from the platform, or export it as SCORM or xAPI to an existing LMS.
- Track completions and results by team, and read the gap analysis and next-step suggestions produced by the AI agent.
When to use Syllog / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Syllog is the right fit.
When to use Syllog
- L&D and HR teams in mid-sized and large companies that already own a large body of internal documentation - procedures, manuals, standards, slide decks - and have never had the time to turn it into training.
- Compliance and regulatory training owners in banking and insurance, who need traceable completions and audit-ready reporting; the flagship reference is BCC Iccrea, 22,000 employees across 111 cooperative banks.
- Manufacturing, engineering, safety and quality managers converting SOPs, technical manuals and quality standards into courses for shift-based or multi-site workforces, as done with Gualapack.
- Organisations that want to keep the LMS they already run and add only the AI generation layer, through the Syllog AI Author module and SCORM or xAPI export.
- Sales enablement and customer success teams that must align a distributed field organisation on new offers quickly, as done with Telepass, without building an internal instructional design team.
When not to use Syllog
- Individuals, freelancers and self-directed learners: the offer is strictly B2B and there is no self-service sign-up anywhere on the site.
- Buyers who need a published price to build a budget before talking to sales: there is no pricing page for the platform, and the only public figure covers the custom-course service.
- Teams that want to test the software before committing: no free plan and no free trial is announced, and every path leads to a demo request.
- Procurement and security functions that require public contractual terms, a data processing agreement, a named hosting country or an ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification: none of these is published.
- Technical teams expecting to integrate the product themselves through an API: APIs are mentioned in the site copy, but no public documentation exists and the Integrations page listed in the sitemap returns a 404.
How to use Syllog
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Start with a demo request or an information request through the contact form (name, email, company, message): there is no self-service sign-up.
- Scope the need with the Syllog team and choose the adoption mode: the full AI-First LMS, the Syllog AI Author module on your existing LMS, or turnkey custom courses.
- Let Syllog provision a platform dedicated to your company, announced as ready in a few hours and without involving your IT team.
- Choose the login method - SSO, corporate email or fiscal code - with the integration handled by Syllog.
- Go through the dedicated onboarding sessions and resources run by the Syllog team.
- Upload your source documents and set the language, format and teaching methodology.
- Let the AI agent generate the first version of the path, then edit it, add content and organise the modules.
- Have your internal subject-matter experts review and approve the courses from their dedicated profiles before publication.
- Publish inside the platform or export as SCORM or xAPI to your LMS; autonomous notifications then chase learners according to their progress.
- Follow completions and results in the analytics dashboards, or hand production over to Syllog's certified instructional designers or to the two-week custom-course service.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- A single entry point: any internal document in any format becomes training material, with no imposed source format and no authoring skills required.
- Four multimedia outputs from the same source - card courses, avatar video, podcast and automatic assessments - instead of one deliverable per tool.
- No forced LMS replacement: Syllog AI Author plugs into the platform already in place, SCORM and xAPI keep content portable, and the publisher carries out LMS integrations with no additional fees announced.
- Fast, low-effort rollout: a dedicated platform announced within a few hours with no client IT work, dedicated onboarding, and certified instructional designers made available to every customer.
- Automatic multilingual translation and subtitles remove the translation workload on the client side, and each learner picks the format that suits them.
- Traceability, audit-ready reporting and WCAG 2.1 accessibility on produced content, which matters for regulated and compliance training.
- Named, checkable references including a banking group of 22,000 employees, a public entry price for the custom-course service (500 EUR per course, rare in this market), and an EU publisher operating under Italian law and the GDPR.
Cons
- No pricing page at all for the platform: the full sitemap confirms that no pricing URL exists, and the only public figure covers the custom-course service rather than a licence.
- No terms and conditions, no legal notice and no about page, on the site or in the sitemap; the only public legal document is a privacy policy that covers the marketing website, not the training platform or the data loaded into it.
- Nothing is stated about whether client documents are used to train AI models - the site neither confirms nor denies it.
- No hosting country is declared, no data processing agreement is published and no security certification is announced; ISO 27001 and SOC 2 appear in none of the archived pages, and the disclosed subprocessor list only covers the website's own trackers.
- No free trial, no free plan and no self-service sign-up: every route leads to a demo or an information request.
- The product calls itself multilingual and translates automatically, yet never names a single supported language; APIs are mentioned in the site copy with no public documentation behind them.
- Site upkeep is uneven: the footer Press Kit link redirects to the case studies page, the Integrations page listed in the sitemap returns a 404, the English pages contain spelling mistakes ("wich", "contetn", "Boook"), the Tech and Digital page leaves whole blocks in Italian, and the root domain redirects to the Italian version rather than to a language choice.
Pricing & Plans
No free plan and no free trial is announced. Syllog publishes a single price across the whole site: on the Custom Courses page, prices start from 500 EUR per course, covering tailored content, dedicated support, included updates and advanced analytics, with delivery two weeks after the request. That amount applies to courses produced by the Syllog team and must not be read as a platform licence price. The AI-First LMS platform and the Syllog AI Author module carry no public price: both route to a demo or an information request, and the full sitemap confirms that no pricing page exists. LMS integrations are stated to carry no additional fees. No discount, promotional offer or named subscription tier is published.

- access is through a Request Information demo request.
- the AI generation module alone
- designed to be integrated into an LMS the company already uses. No public price
- a Discover link then a demo.
- turnkey courses produced by the Syllog team and delivered within two weeks
- from 500 EUR per course

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Syllog handles your data.
GDPR overview
The publisher is established in Italy, therefore inside the European Union, so no Article 27 representative is required or appointed. The privacy policy is generated by iubenda and was last modified on 23 January 2026. It contains a dedicated section for users in the European Union setting out the Article 6 legal bases (consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation, public interest, legitimate interest) and enumerating data subject rights: withdrawal of consent, objection, access, rectification, restriction, erasure, portability and complaint to a supervisory authority. Rights are exercised through four pre-filled mailto links to amministrazione@syllog.ai, with a stated response time of one month at most. What is missing is equally concrete: no explicit claim of GDPR compliance in words, no compliance badge, no named data protection officer, no data processing agreement and no security certification - ISO 27001 and SOC 2 appear nowhere on the site.
Who owns the data?
Syllog publishes no terms and conditions, so no clause states who owns the documents you upload or the courses the AI generates from them; the full sitemap confirms that no terms page exists. The only public legal document is an iubenda privacy policy that covers visitors to the marketing website rather than platform users. It names Syllog S.R.L., viale Guglielmo Marconi 50/15, as the data controller, and makes the user responsible for any third-party personal data obtained, published or shared through the application. On the product side, the site states that a client's own subject-matter experts review and approve courses before publication, which implies editorial control but is not an ownership commitment. Ownership must therefore be settled in the contract.
Reuse rights
Nothing on the site grants or restricts reuse rights: with no terms and conditions published, there is no clause describing what a customer may do with generated courses, and no clause describing what Syllog may do with uploaded material. The iubenda privacy policy covers the website only. It declares three purposes - statistics, infrastructure monitoring and display of content from external platforms - collected through tracking tools, usage data, browsing history, clicks and page views, with a Google Tag Manager container present in the page source. Three named third parties process that data in the United States: Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), Meta Events Manager (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and Google Fonts (Google LLC). Legal bases are listed (consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation, public interest, legitimate interest), transfer outside the user's country is possible without any country being named, and the up-to-date list of processors is only available on request from the controller. Crucially, the site says nothing at all about whether customer documents are used to train AI models, in either direction.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Syllog declares no hosting country and no hosting region for its platform. The privacy policy states only that data is processed at the controller's operating offices and anywhere else the parties involved in the processing are located, and that data may be transferred to a country other than the user's own, without naming any country. The three third parties named in that policy as processing in the United States - Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), Meta Events Manager (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and Google Fonts (Google LLC) - are trackers used by the marketing website; they say nothing about where training content or learner data is stored. As a network observation rather than a published commitment, the website's IP address (135.236.215.242) geolocates to Dublin, Ireland, on Microsoft Azure. The controller is Syllog S.R.L., established in Prato, Italy, so processing falls under Italian and EU law. The up-to-date list of processors is available only on request from the controller. Buyers with a data residency requirement should obtain the hosting location and the full subprocessor list in writing.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Syllog.
- No terms and conditions exist publicly, so nothing about the service is contractually opposable before you sign: ownership of generated courses, service levels and liability are all negotiated offline.
- Complete silence on whether client documents are used to train AI models. Get an explicit written answer before uploading procedures, know-how or regulated content.
- The iubenda privacy policy covers visitors to the marketing website, not learners or the documents loaded into the platform, and the up-to-date list of processors is only available on request from the controller.
- No hosting country is declared. The website is technically served from Dublin on Microsoft Azure, and the privacy policy names United States processing for Sentry, Meta and Google Fonts, but these are facts about the website, not published commitments about where your training data lives.
- No data processing agreement is published and no security certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 is announced: both have to be demanded contractually if your compliance framework requires them.
- The 500 EUR figure buys one custom-made course, not a platform licence, and must not be extrapolated into a subscription price; note also that the only published contact address, amministrazione@syllog.ai, appears solely in the privacy policy, with no support address anywhere.
- All performance figures (75% lower costs, 17 hours saved, 92% higher satisfaction, 90% completion, twice the engagement, 50% less training time) are publisher claims without published methodology; and because the platform drafts courses automatically and can refresh them when the source document changes, an error in a source document can propagate at scale - use the subject-matter expert approval step rather than publishing generated content unread.
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low on the technical side. Nothing is installed by the customer: Syllog provisions a dedicated platform, announced as ready in a few hours, and its FAQ states that involving your IT team is not needed. SSO or custom login by corporate email or fiscal code, and integration with an existing LMS, are handled by Syllog, with no additional fees announced for LMS integration. Onboarding sessions, resources and ongoing support are included, and certified instructional designers or turnkey courses are available if you do not want to author at all. The real friction is commercial: nothing starts without a demo.

Should you pick Syllog?
On the functional side Syllog is coherent and well documented: one upload point for any internal document, four multimedia outputs from that source, automatic assessments, per-team analytics, and named references that can be checked - BCC Iccrea, Telepass, Gualapack, Prograd, ASB. Its three adoption modes cover both buying situations honestly: replace the LMS with the AI-First LMS, or keep it and add Syllog AI Author with SCORM and xAPI export. For a company sitting on procedures, manuals and standards it never had time to turn into training, the proposition is clear.
Commercial transparency is the weak side. There is no pricing page for the platform, no free trial, no free plan and no self-service sign-up; the only public figure, 500 EUR per course, covers the Custom Courses service and not a licence. Legal transparency is thinner still: no terms and conditions on the site or in its sitemap, a privacy policy written for the marketing website rather than the training platform, nothing said about whether client documents feed AI model training, no data processing agreement, no declared hosting country and no security certification. Every headline figure, from 75% lower costs to 17 hours saved and 92% higher satisfaction, comes from the publisher without a published methodology.
The publisher is young: the domain was registered on 2 January 2024, a 500,000 EUR pre-seed round was announced in November 2024, and public company records show a small team. That is not disqualifying, but it means the contract has to carry everything the website does not. Treat the demo as a due-diligence meeting and get written answers on content ownership, AI training on your documents, the hosting jurisdiction, the data processing agreement, the full subprocessor list, and what the platform actually costs per year.
