Kinetik
Kinetik is an AI agent for content creators and marketing teams that lives inside WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack. It handles the work around content production: research, analytics, media kits, trend monitoring and brand deals, rather than writing posts.
What is Kinetik?
Kinetik is an AI agent for content creators and marketing teams, published by KINETO LIMITED in London. It is positioned as an agent rather than a chatbot, and its scope is deliberately narrow: it takes on the roughly twenty tasks that surround content production (research, analytics, strategy, brand relations, media kits, scripting from voice notes, trend monitoring) rather than the creative work itself.
Unlike a browser assistant, Kinetik lives in the messengers its users already have open. Creators reach it in WhatsApp, Telegram or the web, teams run it inside Slack, and iMessage is announced as coming soon. The conversation is unified across those channels, so a thread started on WhatsApp continues on Telegram without losing context, and a persistent memory keeps the user's niche, audience, goals, preferences and history between sessions. The documentation contrasts this with general-purpose language models on five points: memory instead of a reset at every session, a real Instagram connection instead of pasted screenshots, delivered files instead of text in a window, proactive alerts instead of answers on demand, and a learned voice instead of a generic tone.
The Instagram connection is read-only, granted through Meta's official API and OAuth. Kinetik can read the profile, posts, captions, engagement metrics and audience demographics, but it cannot publish, edit, delete or send direct messages, and no password is collected. In the messengers it only sees the thread with the agent.
Day to day it researches trends and ideas, builds brand-specific media kits, turns voice notes into content ideas, analyses content and audiences, supports brand deals with replies, counter-offers, polite refusals and follow-ups, reviews uploaded video with timestamped notes on editing, pacing, colour grading and composition, checks facts across the web, X and Hacker News, generates PDFs, spreadsheets and comparison tables, produces images and video, and builds applications without code. For teams it adds market monitoring, campaign and product analytics through GA4, Amplitude and Meta Ads, influencer operations and lightweight project management. An MCP connector exposes the agent to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code and Codex. Several models sit underneath: Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity Sonar.
What it does
- Analyse a social account and its audience, including engagement metrics and demographics, from a read-only Instagram connection
- Monitor trends and competitors across Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, Hacker News and the wider web, and deliver a sourced report on a schedule
- Produce deliverable files: media kits, PDFs, spreadsheets and comparison tables
- Source and score creators against an ideal customer profile, then draft the outreach emails
- Turn a voice note into a content idea or a row in a Notion table
- Review an uploaded video and return timestamped feedback on editing, pacing, colour grading and composition
- Send proactive alerts on viral posts, emerging trends and brand deals that need a follow-up
When to use Kinetik / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Kinetik is the right fit.
When to use Kinetik
- Solo content creators growing an audience who want research, analytics and brand-deal support without leaving WhatsApp or Telegram
- Marketing and social media teams already working in Slack and needing recurring competitor and trend reports
- Influencer marketing managers sourcing and scoring creators against an ideal customer profile, then drafting the outreach
- Freelancers and small agencies producing brand-specific media kits on demand
- Product and growth teams pulling campaign and product analytics from GA4, Amplitude and Meta Ads into a single conversation
When not to use Kinetik
- Creators looking for a tool that writes their posts for them: the publisher states plainly that Kinetik is not a content creation tool
- Social media managers who need to schedule and publish to Instagram, since the connection is strictly read-only through the official Meta API
- Anyone wanting a general-purpose AI chatbot, as the scope is deliberately restricted to creator and marketing work
- Teams expecting an analytics dashboard with charts and saved views rather than answers delivered in a conversation
- Organisations that need self-hosted or source-available software: this is a SaaS product and its source code is not distributed
How to use Kinetik
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Open the Kinetik product page on kineto.app and sign in with your email address
- Connect your Instagram account through Meta OAuth; access is read-only and no password is collected
- Add the other tools you work with, such as Notion, Google Calendar, Canva, Google Search or your analytics accounts
- Continue the conversation in WhatsApp or Telegram from the buttons on the site; the same thread follows you from one messenger to the other
- Send a first task as a brief, a link, an idea or a voice note, stating the goal, the audience and the format you expect
- Collect the deliverable: most content comes back in seconds, complex reports and media kits take up to a minute, and real agent tasks one to two minutes
- Set up recurring tasks, for example a competitor report every Monday morning, and let the proactive alerts run
- For a team, install Kinetik in your Slack workspace and invite the members of your organisation; per-member billing is configured in the team settings
- To reach the agent from Claude or ChatGPT, add a custom connector pointing at https://kineto.app/api/agents/mcp and complete the OAuth consent step; on ChatGPT, developer mode must be enabled first
- To cancel, ask Kinetik directly and it returns the link to the right account screen
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Works inside the messengers people already use, rather than adding another dashboard to open
- Persistent memory across sessions and across messengers, so context does not have to be rebuilt at every conversation
- Returns real deliverables, files, plans and reports, instead of text in a chat window, and acts proactively with alerts and reminders
- Unusually complete public legal documentation for a product this young: a data processing agreement, nineteen named subprocessors with their locations, a service territory list, an acceptable use policy and DSA reports
- Instagram access is read-only through the official Meta API with OAuth, and no credentials are collected
- Explicit commitment not to train on customer data, extended contractually to the model providers, with an opt-out from interaction data collection on request
- One-month trial without a payment card, unused subscription credits roll over for one month, and top-up credits stay valid for twelve months
Cons
- Credit-based pricing makes the real monthly cost hard to anticipate; the message counts shown on the plans are only an order of magnitude
- Credits included with a subscription expire after two months, and only top-up credits last twelve months
- No permanent free plan: the $0 offer is explicitly a one-month trial, and displayed prices exclude VAT
- The publisher's own sources disagree on the trial allowance, 175 credits on the homepage and pricing page against 350 credits in the documentation FAQ
- Deliberately narrow scope: the agent neither writes the creative content nor publishes it, and no public price is given beyond the $50 per month Studio plan on the team side
- No independent security certification is published, neither SOC 2 nor ISO 27001, only described technical measures
- No mobile app has been released, iMessage is announced but unavailable, the demo is only reachable through a form, and the MCP connector is text-only with no file transfer or account management
Pricing & Plans
There is no permanent free plan. The $0 offer is a one-month free trial, available without a payment card. The cheapest paid entry point is the Creator plan at USD 25.00 per month excluding VAT, offered at USD 12.50 for the first month. The Inventor plan is USD 97.00 per month and the team plan, Studio, is USD 50.00 per month, both excluding VAT. Subscriptions are monthly, paid in advance and renewed automatically, with local VAT added at checkout through Stripe; EU and UK businesses holding a valid VAT number are subject to the reverse charge.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Kinetik handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is documented and concrete. The privacy notice, last updated on 31 August 2026, states that KINETO LIMITED, registered in England and Wales under company number 16807588, processes personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and the For Teams FAQ answers plainly that the service is GDPR compliant. An EU representative is appointed under Article 27: JetBrains N.V., Terrace Tower, Gelrestraat 16, 1079 MZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent) are exercised at privacy@kineto.app, with the ICO named as supervisory authority and breach notification committed within 72 hours. A public data processing agreement forms part of the terms, transfers rely on adequacy regulations, the IDTA and the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses, and no solely automated decision-making producing legal effects is carried out.
Who owns the data?
Clause 4.2 of the terms of service states that users own their Inputs and Data and keep all proprietary rights in them, including intellectual property rights; the privacy notice restates that users retain full ownership of the content, data and applications they create. KINETO LIMITED owns or licenses everything relating to the platform itself, its code and its trademarks (clause 4.1). Rights in Outputs are narrower: they are granted for the duration of the subscription, for use inside the service and by users the customer selects, and they are expressly non-exclusive, so identical or similar Outputs may be generated for other customers. Feedback sent to the publisher is treated as non-confidential and freely usable. Under the data processing agreement the customer is controller and Kineto processor.
Reuse rights
Users may reuse their own Inputs and Data without asking permission, since they keep all proprietary rights in them. Outputs may be used inside the Kineto service and made available to users the customer selects, for as long as the subscription runs; because Outputs are non-exclusive, no exclusivity can be claimed over them. On the publisher's side, the privacy notice states that customer data is not used to retrain public AI models, and clause 5.4 commits Kineto to obtaining undertakings from its model providers at least equivalent to its own, the providers named in the privacy notice being Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI and Perplexity. Clause 5.5 is the exception worth knowing: collection of interaction data, Inputs and Outputs included, to analyse usage and improve the products is enabled by default and is switched off only by emailing privacy@kineto.app. Kineto may also access Inputs, Outputs and Data for security, maintenance or legal compliance (clause 5.3). For Slack, the publisher states that data is neither sold, used for advertising, nor used to train AI models. Anonymised, aggregated statistics are used to improve model quality, fairness and safety.

Hosting summary
No hosting country is stated in plain words on the site: the geography has to be read from the Location column of the public subprocessor list and from the privacy notice, which refers to hosting providers such as AWS and Google Cloud. On that list, Google Cloud, Modal (compute for AI workloads, including prompts, outputs and logs), Amplitude, White Circle and JetBrains s.r.o. are located in the EU, while OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Neon Inc. (database infrastructure holding application data), Stripe, Zendesk, Mailchimp, Expo, fal.ai, Meta, Twilio, Google LLC and Aegis Mobile LLC are located in the United States; Twilio processes messaging data in the United States. Transfers outside the United Kingdom and the EEA rely on adequacy regulations, the IDTA and the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses, with copies of the safeguards available on request. The security measures described are encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, redundant secure hosting and regular security reviews and audits. No independent certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is claimed.

Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Kinetik.
- Credits included with a subscription expire after two months and the message counts advertised on the plans are indicative only, so the real budget is hard to hold
- The $12.50 and $48.50 figures are first-month prices, not the standing rates; all prices are shown excluding VAT and monthly renewal is automatic by default
- Collection of interaction data, Inputs and Outputs included, is enabled by default under clause 5.5 and can only be switched off by emailing privacy@kineto.app, as there is no toggle in the interface
- Outputs are expressly non-exclusive and the rights granted over them last only for the duration of the subscription, which matters before any commercial reuse
- AI-generated content can contain errors: clause 3.6 disclaims accuracy and verification remains the user's responsibility, a real risk when reports and competitor analyses are forwarded to clients without being read; no independent security certification is published either, and using the agent on third-party platforms remains subject to those platforms' own terms, at the user's risk
- Handing research, monitoring and audience analysis to an always-on agent can erode the habit of doing that work yourself, and proactive alerts invite constant checking of the messenger
- Access is territorially restricted: the service is only permitted in the 201 listed territories, a limitation the publisher attributes to the providers of the connected AI services, with Ukraine listed only with certain exceptions; the Kinetik Creator Program is closed on top of that to residents of countries under comprehensive UK, EU, US or UN sanctions, including Crimea and the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk entities
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low for individual creators: sign in with an email address, authorise Instagram through Meta OAuth, then talk to the agent in WhatsApp or Telegram. Connecting accounts is advertised as taking seconds and no coding skill is required. Team setup is barely harder: install the app in a Slack workspace and invite the members. The only mildly technical step is the MCP connector, where an endpoint URL is pasted into Claude or ChatGPT settings, with developer mode enabled on ChatGPT and, on Claude Team and Enterprise plans, administrator approval.

Should you pick Kinetik?
Kinetik is a young product, its launch announced in June 2026, yet it arrives with legal and operational documentation more complete than many established competitors: a public data processing agreement, nineteen named subprocessors with their locations, a published service territory list, an acceptable use policy and DSA reports.
Its main quality is a clearly assumed boundary. Kinetik does not write posts and does not publish them; it handles the surrounding work, research, monitoring, analytics, media kits and brand correspondence, and delivers it as real files inside WhatsApp, Telegram or Slack, with a memory that carries over between sessions and channels. For a solo creator or a small marketing team already living in those messengers, it removes a dashboard rather than adding one.
The reservations are mostly commercial. Pricing runs on credits, so the real monthly cost is hard to anticipate, and the message counts shown on the plans are an order of magnitude rather than a guarantee. Credits included with a subscription expire after two months, prices exclude VAT, and the advertised $12.50 and $48.50 are first-month rates. There is no permanent free plan, only a one-month trial whose allowance the publisher's own pages state differently, 175 credits on the site against 350 in the documentation. No independent security certification is published, and access is limited to 201 territories, a restriction inherited from the AI providers rather than chosen by the publisher.
KINETO LIMITED is an independent British company, visibly backed by JetBrains. The most obvious audience remains solo creators and small marketing teams; anyone looking for a publishing tool, an analytics dashboard or a general-purpose assistant should look elsewhere.
