What is Dezgo?
Dezgo is an AI image and video generator that runs entirely in the browser, published by Dezgo SAS, a company registered in Paris. The home page presents it as a set of AI apps and tools, powered by Stable Diffusion, and marks each app as free. The terms describe the underlying idea plainly: a SaaS platform that lets you run heavy programs on the publisher's compute, without configuring or installing any hardware or software.
The catalogue is organised into five families: Text-to-Video, Image-to-Video, Text-to-Image, Image-to-Image and Image Tools. Video draws on WAN 2.1 through 2.7, Happy Horse 1.0, Seedance 1.0 and 2.0, Grok Imagine, Sora 2, Kling 2.1 and 2.6, and Veo 3.0 and 3.1. Image generation runs Grok Imagine, Nano Banana and Nano Banana Pro, Flux 1, Flux 2 and Flux 2 Pro, SDXL, SDXL Lightning and SD1. Image Tools cover ControlNet, background removal, upscaling, text inpainting and instruction-based editing. Alongside the headline engines sits a catalogue of community checkpoints credited to their authors, among them Lykon, KandooAI, PurpleSmartAI, nitrosocke, WarriorMama777 and Cyberdelia, sorted by style: realistic, anime, artistic, drawing, 3D render and portrait. LoRA extension models can be loaded to steer a generation towards a character, a style, an object or a concept.
Control is unusually fine for a consumer tool: prompt and negative prompt, guidance, steps, sampler, seed, resolution, image count, output format and upscaling, plus a prompt weighting syntax specific to the site, using repeatable plus and minus signs, parentheses to group terms and numeric values from 0 to 2.
Two regimes coexist. The free version needs no account and comes with advertising, rate limits, capped resolution and steps, and no access to the heavier video models. Power Mode is paid, ad-free and uncapped, and adds a request history kept for 30 days with re-download. Sign-in is passwordless: an email address, then a magic link.
The web interface is built on top of the public API, which is documented on a dedicated subdomain, authenticated by an X-Dezgo-Key header, specified in OpenAPI and returning binary PNG. API calls are billed at the same rate as Power Mode. A blog, a status page, a Discord server and an @dezgo account complete the set. The interface is English only, and text-to-speech and voice cloning are announced as coming.

- Type your description in the prompt box and click Run; no registration is required for the free version
- Open the More Options panel to reach the advanced settings: model, negative prompt, resolution, steps, sampler, seed, guidance, image count and upscaling

- To go further, click Login, enter your email address, then open the magic link you receive

The cheapest paid entry point is a minimum deposit of 10.00 USD credited to an account balance. That 10 USD is not the price of one generation: it is a balance consumed request by request. At the default rate of 0.0019 USD per /text2image request at 512x512, it covers approximately 5,263 images. Other published rates are 0.0029 USD per /text2image_flux request at 1024x1024, 0.0032 USD per /text2image_sdxl_lightning request and 0.0075 USD per /text2image_sdxl request at the same resolution, the last corresponding to approximately 1,333 images for 10 USD. The exact price depends on the parameters selected, notably size and number of steps, and is displayed in real time before the request is sent. All amounts are expressed in USD; an account may be funded in another currency, with the exchange rate applied automatically. API calls are billed exactly as Power Mode is, on the same balance. GDPR overview
There is no GDPR information at all. Across the seventeen pages archived for this review, in text and in HTML, the words GDPR and RGPD appear zero times. There is no section on data subject rights, no legal basis, no retention period, no data protection officer. An Article 27 representative would in any case be pointless, since Dezgo SAS is established at 60 rue Francois 1er in Paris, inside the European Union, which is exactly why the regulation applies to it in full. That is what makes the silence notable: a French company squarely subject to the GDPR publishes nothing about it. What does exist is French governing law and arbitration in France, a Privacy Manager link in the footer and the advertising opt-out through networkadvertising.org. The terms carry a revision date of 5 February 2023; the privacy policy carries no date at all.
Who owns the data?
Ownership splits three ways. Outputs belong to the user: the FAQ states that each generation is unique and that you own the rights to use it as you wish, including commercially, in digital or physical form such as print or advertising, as long as you follow the licence terms of each AI. That proviso matters, because the Stable Diffusion models ship under CreativeML Open RAIL-M and its restrictions travel with the image. The rule is identical in the free version and in Power Mode. Content you upload stays yours, but the terms make you warrant that you hold the rights to it. Everything Dezgo publishes itself, from site text and code to the API, graphics and trademarks, remains the property of Dezgo SAS.
Reuse rights
Generated outputs can be reused without asking Dezgo for permission, commercial use included, within the licence terms of each model. On Dezgo's own use of data, the documentation is thin. The privacy policy is a generic site policy: it covers server logs and IP addresses, cookies and advertising, states that data serves to personalise and improve the experience, and limits sharing with third parties to six enumerated cases (consent, service providers, legal action, breach of the terms, sale of the site, and similar). Advertising is handled by Freestar, with an opt-out pointer to optout.networkadvertising.org. Payments are taken on a page hosted by Stripe, a PCI level 1 provider, and Dezgo states that payment information is never sent to it. What the policy never addresses is the product itself: not a word on prompts, generated images, accounts, API keys or payment records, and nothing on whether customer data feeds model training, in either direction. The terms add a DATA TRANSFER clause under which merely visiting the site counts as consent to international transfer of data.

The only hosting fact published on the site sits in the LEGAL INFORMATION section of the terms: the site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States. That is the host's corporate address, not a declaration of where data is stored or processed. The terms add a DATA TRANSFER clause under which visiting the site implies consent to international transfer of data, again without naming any server country. DNS resolution returns 172.67.74.17, a Cloudflare anycast node on AS13335 geolocated to San Francisco; anycast addresses answer from the nearest point of presence, so this proves nothing about the processing location either. Consequently no hosting country and no hosting region are recorded here: none is declared. There is no trust or security page and no certification announced. The only certification cited anywhere is Stripe's PCI level 1 status, which covers the payment page rather than Dezgo's own infrastructure. The publisher itself is established in France, which remains a separate question from where its compute runs.

Dezgo does one thing and does it without ceremony: it gives broad access to recent image and video models, with no subscription and a free entry point that does not even ask for an account. The economics are the strongest argument. At 0.0019 USD per default text2image request, with a balance that never expires and automatic volume discounts of 10, 15 and 20 percent, a variable workload costs what it costs and nothing more. The technical argument is close behind: the web interface is built on the same API, at the same rate, on the same balance, so a prototype clicked together in the browser transfers to code without repricing the project.
The reservations sit on the paperwork rather than on the product. The terms were last revised in February 2023, before the entire video catalogue existed, and the privacy policy is a generic site policy that never mentions prompts, generated images, accounts or payments. For a company registered in Paris and therefore squarely subject to the GDPR, the total absence of any reference to it is the most striking gap in the file. There is no named contact channel either: support runs through a form, and no email address appears anywhere on the site.
The natural audience follows from that. Creators, marketers, developers and small teams with irregular volume will find the cost model and the model catalogue hard to beat. Organisations that must document where personal data goes, sign a DPA or point to a retention policy will not find what they need here, and should read the free version for what it is: a permanent free tier with advertising and caps, not a trial of a compliance-ready platform.
