Designs.ai
Designs.ai is a unified AI creative workspace from Pixlr Pte. Ltd. A single brief sends specialist agents to produce images, video, storyboards, slides, audio and copy, routed to leading models and automatically held to your own brand kit.
What is Designs.ai?
Designs.ai bills itself as an AI creative team on demand: you describe what you need once, and a set of specialist agents plans the work, picks the model and returns finished assets. The platform is published by Pixlr Pte. Ltd. in Singapore and sits alongside the Pixlr editing suite, as the Designs.ai by Pixlr line in the footer makes clear. The workspace is organised around modules rather than a single canvas: Chats for copy, Branding, Image, Video, Storyboard, Slides, Audio, an Agents area, and Designs Claw. Each has a matching agent, so a Brand Agent builds a visual identity, a Storyboard Agent turns scenes into video plans, a Slides Agent turns an idea into a deck. Behind them, several third-party models are wired in and named openly on the home page: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok, with Seedance quoted for video. Smart Model Routing sends each task to whichever model suits it, and you can override that choice for any format. New models are said to be integrated within days of release. The distinctive mechanism is brand enforcement. Paste a company URL and the platform extracts the logo, colours, typography and visual style into a Brand Kit, which then behaves as a system prompt for everything produced afterwards, whether the author is a marketing director or a new sales hire. Designs.ai frames this as fewer off-brand decks and fewer review cycles. Designs Claw is the newest piece: a private instance of the open-source OpenClaw agent, hosted by Designs.ai inside an isolated sandbox and driven from Telegram. It chats, takes notes, generates media, connects to Gmail and Google Calendar, and runs recurring jobs such as a daily post draft or a Friday reminder. Hosting is bundled into every plan and you pay in credits only for what it produces. Consumption is metered in monthly credits across five tiers, from a free account to an enterprise plan, with workspaces, shared libraries, role-based access and approval workflows aimed at larger teams. The interface is served in twelve languages.

When to use Designs.ai / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Designs.ai is the right fit.
When to use Designs.ai
- Marketing teams that have to ship a high volume of on-brand content across several channels every week
- Sales and enablement teams building decks, proposals and pitch assets without a designer on standby
- Agencies and freelancers who juggle several client brands and want one subscription instead of five
- Small businesses running their own marketing from a phone: cafes, property agents, insurance agents, online sellers, tutors
- Organisations that want Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok reachable from a single account and a single invoice
When not to use Designs.ai
- Developers who need to call the tool from their own product: no public API and no developer documentation exist
- Teams that work mainly on mobile: there is no iOS or Android app, only the web workspace and a Telegram agent
- Regulated buyers who need a signed DPA, a named subprocessor list or SOC 2 / ISO 27001 evidence, none of which is published
- Anyone who must know the hosting jurisdiction before signing: no hosting country or region is disclosed anywhere on the site
- Occasional users: subscription credits expire at the end of each month, never roll over and are never refunded
How to use Designs.ai
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account: registration is mandatory before any service can be used
- Paste your company URL, or describe the business, so the platform can extract a Brand Kit
- Check the generated logo, colours, typography and visual style, which become the house rules for every later output
- Open the AI Agent and describe the task in plain words rather than in commands
- Answer the clarifying questions the agent asks, one at a time, until the brief is sharp
- Let the router pick a model, or force a specific one for a given format
- Collect the produced assets: images, video, storyboards, slides, audio or copy
- Browse the skills library and apply a ready-made skill when the task is a common one
- For Designs Claw, open it from the dashboard sidebar, scan the QR code and name the bot in Telegram
- Add the bot to a team group as an admin if colleagues should use it, then set the recurring jobs you want
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Several leading models reachable under one subscription, without switching tools or accounts
- Brand consistency is automated rather than policed, which is the platform's clearest differentiator
- Unusually broad format coverage: image, video, storyboard, slides, audio, copy and visual identity
- Low barrier to entry: a permanent free tier with 50 credits and a first paid plan at USD 9.90 per month
- Hosted agent included in every plan, with no server to rent and no tokens to manage
- Credit top-up packs absorb a busy month without forcing a plan change
- Contractual indemnity up to USD 5,000 on Plus and Pro and USD 25,000 on Enterprise, plus named EU and UK GDPR representatives
Cons
- No public API and no developer documentation, so the platform cannot be embedded in another product
- No native mobile app; the only off-desktop route is the Telegram agent
- Subscription credits expire monthly with no rollover and no refund, and purchased credits die after one year
- Prepaid subscriptions are not refunded on cancellation, and renewal is automatic by default
- No hosting country or region is published, no DPA is offered and no subprocessor list exists
- Nothing on the site says whether customer content is used to train models, and no opt-out is documented
- The About page and the License Agreement disagree on who owns the generated output
Pricing & Plans
A permanent free tier is available, offering 50 credits and a single user account without payment. The lowest paid entry point is the Go plan at USD 9.90 per month, or USD 99 per year, which includes 500 credits per month. All fees are stated in United States dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis, monthly credits expire at the end of each month without rollover, and prepaid amounts are not refunded on cancellation. One-time credit packs are sold separately, starting at USD 30 for 2,500 credits.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Designs.ai handles your data.
GDPR overview
The GDPR mentions are concrete rather than decorative. Every page carries a GDPR Compliant note in the footer, and the privacy policy, last updated on 13 May 2026, cites an Article 6 legal basis for each processing purpose: legitimate interest, contract, legal obligation and consent. A Data Protection Officer is designated at dpo@pixlr.com. An Article 27 representative is named for the European Union, RIVACY GmbH in Hamburg, and a separate representative for the United Kingdom, RIVACY Ltd. in West Sussex. Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability are all listed, along with the right to complain to a supervisory authority, and transfers outside the EEA are covered by binding corporate rules or standard contractual clauses. What is missing is operational: no data processing agreement is offered and no subprocessor list is published.
Who owns the data?
Pixlr Pte. Ltd. acts as data controller. The About page states that your designs, brand assets and data remain your intellectual property, but the License Agreement is markedly less generous: clause 8(d) grants you no ownership or copyright in the End Product, and clause 12 conveys only a limited licence to use the service, Designs.ai retaining every patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret in the platform itself. Clause 7 of the Terms of Use lets the publisher keep your content for a reasonable period to improve and measure the service and to meet contractual and legal obligations. Personal data may also be shared with IT providers, payment gateways, marketing agencies, professional advisers and other group companies. That contradiction deserves a legal read before any serious commitment.
Reuse rights
Both licence tiers, the Standard License attached to the Plus and Pro plans and the Enterprise License, allow you to use the service for commercial and non-commercial purposes without asking for further permission, and the Terms confirm that you may keep using work already produced after you cancel. The restrictions are specific rather than general: you may not resell, rent, sublicense, distribute or otherwise commercially exploit the service or its design resources on a stand-alone basis, register an End Product as a trademark, present AI output as human-made, use an End Product for broadcast, cinema or on-demand customisation products, or use resources marked editorial or unreleased for advertising, promotional or merchandising purposes. Editorial use also requires a visible copyright notice. You must own or be licensed for whatever material you feed in.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Designs.ai publishes no hosting country and no hosting region. The About page claims secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit, and the privacy policy states that personal data may be shared with other group companies inside the European Economic Area and, in some circumstances, transferred outside it to group companies or third-party processors, under binding corporate rules or European Commission standard contractual clauses, a copy of which can be requested. The controller is Pixlr Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, and both the Terms of Use and the License Agreement are governed by Singapore law with arbitration before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. For Designs Claw, each agent is described as running in its own isolated sandbox with encrypted tokens and vendor-managed patching. As a purely technical observation, and not a vendor statement, the domain resolved on 11 August 2026 to an Amazon address located in Ashburn, United States.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Designs.ai.
- Automatic renewal and non-refundable prepayment: cancelling a twelve-month plan forfeits the amount already paid
- Credits are perishable; monthly allowances vanish at month end and top-up packs expire after one year, with no compensation
- Ownership of generated work is contradicted between the About page and clause 8(d) of the License Agreement
- Clause 14(l) of the Terms treats continued use as consent to display your company logo for promotional purposes unless you ask for removal
- Liability is capped at the lower of six months of fees and USD 5,000, or USD 25,000 on Enterprise, and the vendor indemnity explicitly does not apply to the AI features
- Nothing is said about model training or hosting location, so sensitive briefs and client material should be kept out until the vendor answers in writing
- Automating brand voice and campaign thinking end to end can quietly erode the in-house judgement that decides when the output is actually wrong
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. Designs.ai is a browser application with nothing to install; an account is the only prerequisite. The brand kit is created by pasting a company URL, and switching models is a dashboard setting rather than a configuration task. Designs Claw is activated by scanning a QR code from the dashboard, which starts the Telegram bot without any token handling, and a five-minute setup guide plus a library of copy-paste prompts is provided. Only the Enterprise plan adds a dedicated onboarding session and an account manager.

Should you pick Designs.ai?
Designs.ai answers a real and increasingly common problem: creative teams now hold four or five AI subscriptions, and none of them knows what the brand looks like. Putting the brand kit at the centre, extracted from a URL and applied automatically to every image, deck and video, is a sharper idea than another prompt box, and the format coverage behind it is genuinely wide. Adding a hosted OpenClaw agent that lives in Telegram and runs on a schedule is a sensible bet on where small-team automation is heading, and bundling the hosting removes the main obstacle for people who would never rent a server. The economics are readable and the entry price is low, with a permanent free tier and a first paid plan under ten dollars a month. What deserves attention is the credit mechanism: monthly allowances expire, purchased packs die after a year, prepaid subscriptions are not refunded and renewal is automatic. Budget accordingly rather than discovering it later. The weaker ground is governance. There is no public API, no mobile app, no published hosting jurisdiction, no data processing agreement, no subprocessor list and no statement at all about whether customer content feeds model training. For a platform that markets itself as enterprise-ready, those are conspicuous gaps, and the flat contradiction between the About page, which promises that your work remains your intellectual property, and clause 8(d) of the License Agreement, which grants no ownership in the End Product, should be settled with the vendor before any significant commitment. As a fast, brand-disciplined production workshop for marketing, sales, agencies and small businesses, Designs.ai is a credible and well-priced option. As a component in a regulated data chain, it is not yet documented enough to be assessed.
