Fliki
Fliki is a browser-based AI studio that turns a one-line idea, a script, a blog article or a slide deck into an edited video with lifelike voiceover, visuals, music and subtitles, in more than 80 languages.
What is Fliki?
Fliki is a browser-based AI video and audio studio published by Nine Thirty Five LLC, a Delaware company. Its purpose is to collapse the production chain that normally sits between a text and a finished video. You supply a starting point — a one-line prompt, a full script, the URL of a blog article, a PowerPoint or Google Slides deck, an audio file or a screen recording — and the platform writes or splits the script, cuts it into scenes, chooses the visuals, lays down a voiceover, adds music and subtitles, and exports the result. Voice is the centre of gravity. Fliki advertises 2,000+ AI voices across 80+ languages and 100+ dialects, with more than a thousand ultra-realistic voices reserved for the Premium tier. Voice cloning works from a short sample — two minutes according to the FAQ, thirty seconds according to the use-cases page — and the cloned voice can then speak languages its owner does not. A Digital Twin extends the same idea to video, generating an avatar that carries the user's face and voice and presents in 80+ languages. Around that core, the features page lists 54 tools: AI dubbing and video translation with lip resynchronisation, subtitle and caption generators, an image generator and editor, a thumbnail maker, a music generator, a screen recorder with automatic removal of silences and filler words, background removal, lip sync and talking photos. An AI Playground exposes third-party models — Veo 3.1, Kling 3 Pro, Seedance 2, PixVerse V5, Nano Banana 2, GPT Image 2, FLUX 2, Seedream 4.5, Qwen Image, Z-Image-Turbo — from providers including OpenAI, Google, Kling, Bytedance and ElevenLabs. A Copilot works inside the editor, proposing an action plan to approve and accepting reference images; the editor itself offers a Basic view and a layered Timeline view. A Series function schedules recurring videos on a theme, and finished work publishes straight to YouTube and TikTok. The company claims 100M+ videos created, 12M+ users and 50,000+ companies, with 4.8/5 over 5,000+ G2 and Capterra reviews. Usage runs on credits — around 0.5 credit per minute of video in a basic configuration, three free credits a month. Exports are tiered: one minute at 720p on the free plan, fifteen minutes at 1080p on Standard, forty on Premium. There is no mobile application; the service is entirely browser-based, with a generation API on Premium and Enterprise.

When to use Fliki / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Fliki is the right fit.
When to use Fliki
- Social media and content managers who need short-form video at volume for TikTok, Reels and Shorts
- L&D and instructional design teams turning scripts into training, tutorial and explainer videos
- Marketing teams localising the same campaign across many markets from a single script
- Faceless creators who want narrated video without a camera, a studio or editing skills
- Content teams repurposing blog articles and slide decks into narrated video
When not to use Fliki
- Documentary makers and anyone filming live events, where on-location cinematography carries the value — a weakness the site concedes itself
- High-budget brand films that depend on directorial craft and the nuance of a human performance
- Teams that need real-time collaboration: the FAQ states team collaboration is not supported yet
- People who want to work from a phone: there is no dedicated mobile app, the service is browser-only
- Buyers who need a refund safety net, since no refund is issued once a paid plan has been subscribed
How to use Fliki
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Sign up free on the Fliki web app with an email address, a Google account or an Apple ID — no credit card is asked for
- Pick a starting point: an idea, a script, a blog article, a PowerPoint or Google Slides deck, an audio file or a screen recording
- Let Fliki write or split the script, cut it into scenes, choose the visuals and lay a voiceover over the top
- Review the result scene by scene in the Basic view, or work in layers in the Timeline view
- Choose a voice from the catalogue or use your own cloned voice, then adjust speed, style, pauses and pronunciation
- Add an AI avatar, subtitles, background music, sound effects and your brand kit
- Keep an eye on the credit counter: credits are spent on audio generation and video export, reset every month and never roll over
- Export the video, then publish it directly to YouTube or TikTok from the editor
- Use the same account on up to three devices at a time
- For quick jobs that need no account, use the free browser tools — convert, trim, crop, resize, rotate, change speed — with nothing to install
Pros & Cons
Pros
- A permanent free plan, with no credit card required
- The whole chain in a single editor: script, voice, visuals, music, subtitles and publishing
- Language coverage that can actually be checked: 82 languages and 117 dialects listed by name
- Commercial rights kept after the subscription ends, for videos already produced
- Front-line video and image models included without a second subscription to pay
- Nothing to install and no editing skill needed, plus free utility tools usable without an account
- 25% off on annual billing, and 15% off for non-profits and educational institutions
Cons
- No refund once a paid plan has been subscribed — a policy the FAQ states and defends openly
- Credits reset at every cycle, cannot be carried over and cannot be topped up; only an early renewal adds more
- No real-time team collaboration, and every team member added is billed at the full plan rate
- The free plan is watermarked and capped at one minute of export in 720p
- The API is restricted to Premium and Enterprise; there is no mobile app and no phone line to support
- No DPA, no sub-processor list, no Article 27 EU representative, and hosting in the United States only
- The site contradicts itself in places: pricing amounts do not render without JavaScript, Premium export length is given as 40 minutes on some pages and 30 in the FAQ, and some help links still point to old URLs or to awedio.me, the product's former name
Pricing & Plans
Fliki operates on a freemium model, billed in US dollars. A permanent free plan is available without a credit card: three credits a month, 300 voices, 720p output, one minute of export, 50 scenes, a watermark and email support. The lowest paid entry point is the Standard plan at USD 28.00 per user per month, which brings 1,000 voices including 500 ultra-realistic ones, 1080p output, fifteen minutes of export, 100 scenes, removal of the watermark and commercial rights. Premium is USD 88.00 per user per month, with 7,200 credits a year, 2,000+ voices, forty minutes of export, 150 scenes, AI avatars and API access. Enterprise is quoted on request and billed annually. An annual commitment carries a 25% discount, and non-profit organisations and educational institutions may request 15%. Two reservations apply: the pricing page renders its amounts in JavaScript, so the figures above are taken from other first-party pages, and no refund is issued after subscription.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Fliki handles your data.
GDPR overview
The privacy policy, in force as of 3 June 2026, carries a dedicated GDPR section. It names the legal bases relied on — consent, performance of a contract, legal obligation, vital interests, public interest and legitimate interest — and sets out the rights of access, rectification, objection, erasure, portability and withdrawal of consent. A separate CCPA section addresses California residents. Rights are exercised through a single channel, support@fliki.ai, which is the general support address rather than a dedicated privacy contact. What is missing counts too: no Article 27 EU representative and no data protection officer are named, no data processing agreement is published or offered on request, and no sub-processor list exists. Servers and central databases sit in the United States, and the policy warns users outside the country that their data will be transferred there. Fliki never claims GDPR compliance in so many words.
Who owns the data?
Under the terms, you keep every right you hold in the content you create, post or display through the service, and Fliki states plainly that it owns no user content. Publishing rights sit with the user, and paid plans carry a commercial licence that survives the end of the subscription for videos already produced. Stock media supplied by the platform is either licensed or royalty-free. In exchange, generating or posting content grants Nine Thirty Five LLC a broad licence to access, use, host, store, cache, modify, reproduce, transmit, display, publish and distribute that content, in order to operate, improve and promote the service and to develop new products.
Reuse rights
Output can be reused without asking permission: paid plans include commercial rights, so videos and voiceovers may be published, monetised and distributed, and that licence is kept for everything produced during the subscription. On the platform side, the privacy policy lists the purposes it pursues with personal data: delivering and maintaining the service, managing accounts, performing the contract, contacting users, sending offers and news, targeted advertising and usage analysis. Data may be shared with third-party providers (analytics, support, marketing, payment, chat), group companies, business partners, affiliate sites and public authorities. Fliki states that it neither rents nor sells information in personally identifiable form to be monetised through ads or leads. Card details are never stored by the publisher — payments run through Stripe — and email delivery goes through SendGrid. Data obtained from the YouTube and TikTok APIs is used only for publishing and post status. One point is simply not addressed: nothing on the site says whether customer content is used to train models, and the licence in the terms covers improving the service without ever naming training.

Hosting summary
Fliki's servers and central databases are located in the United States, and the privacy policy warns explicitly that information from users accessing the application from outside the country may be transferred, stored or processed there. No alternative region is offered and no data-residency choice exists: the United States is the only jurisdiction named. Sub-processors are not disclosed in a formal list; the policy mentions Stripe for payments and SendGrid for email delivery as examples only, and no data processing agreement is published or offered. On security, the publisher states that it relies on firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection, restricted internal access and breach-notification procedures. Nothing more specific is documented: no security certification — SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or any other — is claimed anywhere on the site, and no independent audit is referenced. For a European organisation, that adds up to US processing under a policy that grants GDPR rights but provides no Article 27 representative, no DPA and no visibility on the sub-processor chain.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Fliki.
- No refund is possible after subscribing: evaluate on the free plan first, because payment is final
- Credits reset at every cycle, cannot be carried over and cannot be bought separately; renewing early resets the billing date and forfeits the credits you had left
- Each team member added is billed at the full plan rate, and real-time collaboration is still not supported
- Generating or posting content grants the publisher a broad licence to host, modify, reproduce, publish and distribute it — worth reading closely before feeding in confidential scripts
- Voice cloning and digital twins reproduce a real person's voice and face: only use samples you have explicit consent for, and assume the same technology can be turned against you
- Data is processed in the United States with no DPA, no sub-processor list and no Article 27 EU representative, and the site never states whether customer content is used to train models
- Producing a video in minutes makes it easy to publish more than you have to say, and to hand scripting, narration and editorial judgement to the machine; check the platform's own numbers too, since Premium export length is quoted as 40 minutes on some pages and 30 in the FAQ, and access can be blocked by IP until support lifts it
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. Nothing is installed: Fliki runs entirely in a browser, with Chrome recommended, and an account opens with an email address, a Google account or an Apple ID. The FAQ states that no editing or design skill is required and that a first short video takes around two minutes. The only step calling for technical knowledge is the generation API, reserved for the Premium tier and Enterprise, which uses a REST endpoint with Bearer authentication and is granted on approval. There is no mobile app, so a desktop browser is the working environment.

Should you pick Fliki?
Fliki is a production tool rather than a filmmaking tool, and it is most convincing when that distinction is respected. Its real strength is that the whole chain lives in one editor: an idea, a script, a blog article or a slide deck goes in, and a scripted, narrated, subtitled and scored video comes out, ready to publish on YouTube or TikTok without leaving the browser. The language coverage is the part that holds up best under scrutiny — 82 languages and 117 dialects listed by name, with cloning and dubbing on top — which makes the tool genuinely useful for teams shipping one message across many markets, for learning and development departments, and for creators producing at volume without a camera. The reservations are real, and mostly contractual. Data governance is light: no data processing agreement, no sub-processor list, no Article 27 EU representative, hosting in the United States only, and no published position on whether customer content feeds model training. The terms grant the publisher a broad licence over generated content, even though the user keeps ownership and commercial rights. No refund is issued once a plan has been subscribed, credits vanish at the end of every cycle, and each additional team member costs a full seat. The site also contradicts itself in places, notably on Premium export length. The saving grace is that none of this has to be taken on trust. A permanent free plan, with no card and no time limit, lets anyone put the voices, the languages and the editor through a real test before paying anything — and given the no-refund policy, that free evaluation is not a nicety, it is the sensible route.
