What is Even Realities?
Even Realities is a hardware company rather than a software service: it designs the Even G2 display smart glasses and the Even R1 smart ring, both driven by the Even Realities companion app. The positioning is the everyday display smart glasses - technology meant to disappear into ordinary life rather than announce itself. The glasses project a green Micro LED image into binocular waveguides: 640x350, a 27.5 degree field of view, 60 Hz, 1200 nits, 98% passthrough, perceived at roughly two metres. The frame weighs 36 g in magnesium and titanium, with screwless hinges tested to 40,000 cycles, a 2 m drop test, IP65 rating, BLE 5.4 and four microphones. Battery life is announced at up to two days, with a charging case holding seven full charges and a recharge of one to one and a half hours. Prescription lenses are digitally surfaced from -12.00 to +12.00 with more than 100 coating layers, and an UltraFit service at partner opticians fine-tunes the fit; the company says it analysed 100,000 3D head shapes in a behavioural lab.
There is no camera, presented as a deliberate privacy choice: input comes from directional microphones effective up to three metres. Above the hardware sits Even AI, running on the proprietary Even LLM, with long-term memory, proactive prompts and voice control. Conversate combines Prep Notes, AI Cues (suggestions, replies, concepts, bios), live transcription and an AI Summary. Translate covers 33 languages, some of them - Arabic, Bengali, Hindi - one-way only, and routes through the cloud via the app. Teleprompt scrolls a script at the pace of the voice, Transcribe produces real-time subtitles. ChatGPT and Perplexity appear on the AI page but are flagged Even G1 only.
The Even R1 ring adds heart rate, HRV, SpO2, temperature, sleep and a Productivity Score in zirconia ceramic and medical stainless steel, IP68, four days of battery. TriSync keeps glasses, phone and ring aligned, and Even Hub opens the platform to third-party apps through a developer SDK and console.

GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is concrete rather than declarative. The controller is established in the EU (Even Realities GmbH, Berlin) and a Data Protection Officer has been appointed. The privacy policy details data subject rights: access, portability, rectification, erasure, withdrawal of consent, restriction, objection and complaint to a supervisory authority, some of them exercisable directly in the interface under Account > Orders. International transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. Prighter Group is the privacy representative for the United Kingdom and Switzerland - not an EU Article 27 representative, since the company is established inside the EU. Reuse rights
Even Realities collects account, order, device and usage data, plus AI interactions - queries, responses and feedback. AI memory, which personalises Even AI and Conversate, is strictly opt-in under Settings > Privacy > Use AI Memory and can be switched off at any time; the notice states it is not used for AI model training and not used for advertising or marketing. A separate opt-in, Help Improve Our User Experience, shares de-identified and aggregated usage data. Audio recordings, when shared, are used only in aggregated or anonymised form to tune noise reduction, echo cancellation and gain, never for content analysis, content recognition or model training. Read the vendor's own definition of training, which it states explicitly: modifying the parameters, weights or architecture of a large language model, and excluding prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation and context configuration. For Prep Notes, the uploaded file is not retained, only the extracted context may be. The company reports no sale and no sharing of personal data in the CPRA sense.
