My AskAI
My AskAI is an AI customer service agent that plugs into Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Gorgias or HubSpot and resolves around 75% of incoming tickets on its own, for about $0.10 per ticket, with no migration and no developer.
What is My AskAI?
My AskAI is an AI customer service agent designed to sit inside the helpdesk a company already runs, rather than replace it. It connects natively to Zendesk (both tickets and messaging), Intercom, Freshdesk, Freshchat, Gorgias and HubSpot, and covers email, live chat, web forms, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs. The vendor's headline claim is that it deflects around 75% of incoming requests; the measured figure across its live customer base is stated separately as 72% or more on a rolling 30-day basis.
The commercial argument is pricing. My AskAI charges from about $0.10 per ticket and publishes its rates openly, positioning itself against per-resolution billing from native helpdesk AI such as Intercom Fin at $0.99 per resolution, Gorgias at $0.90 per interaction or Freshdesk Freddy at $0.49 per session. The company claims to be five to ten times cheaper than those alternatives.
The agent is grounded in the customer's own material: help centre articles, website pages, uploaded files, Google Drive, Notion and Confluence sources, more than 10,000 historic tickets, and live account data pulled through a User Data API. Around that core sit human handover with configurable escalation rules, brand voice and tone guidance, self-learning from human agents' replies, multibrand setups, image reading for screenshots and photos, automatic tagging with sentiment scoring, conversation analytics, testing and simulation before go-live, and Echo, a copilot for managing the agent itself. Tasks and tools turn written procedures into actions that reach into internal systems.
Security and compliance are documented in detail: SOC 2 Type II, AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, isolated containers, a published DPA and a named list of subprocessors. Vectors are stored on Qdrant running on Google Cloud Platform in Oregon. The product is built on Bubble and uses OpenAI models. My AskAI is run from the United Kingdom by two co-founders, Alex Rainey and Mike Heap, and publishes a first-party benchmark covering 195 rated deployments across 38 vendors.

When to use My AskAI
- Support teams drowning in repetitive tickets who want to keep the helpdesk they already run
- SaaS and e-commerce companies with a well-maintained public help centre to train the agent on
- CX and support leaders who need a predictable per-ticket cost instead of per-resolution billing
- Businesses serving customers across many languages, since the agent handles 95+ of them automatically
- Small teams and founders without a dedicated CX function, as well as multi-brand enterprise deployments
When not to use My AskAI
- Companies with no helpdesk at all who are looking for a full support platform rather than an AI layer
- Businesses with thin or outdated documentation, since the agent can only answer from the content it is given
- Teams on a tight budget: there is no permanent free plan and the entry tier is $199 per month
- Anyone needing a native mobile app, as My AskAI ships only a web app, an API and a Chrome extension
- Organisations bound to EU-only data residency, because the vector store sits in Oregon in the United States
How to use My AskAI
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account and start the 30-day free trial, which requires no credit card
- Connect your knowledge sources: help centre, website, uploaded files, Google Drive, Notion or Confluence
- Import historic tickets from your helpdesk so the agent learns from more than 10,000 past resolutions
- Connect the helpdesk itself (Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Freshchat, Gorgias or HubSpot), or add the built-in widget to your site
- Set the guidance: brand voice, escalation rules and the follow-up questions the agent should ask
- Run simulations and test the agent against real customer questions before it goes anywhere near production
- Start in copilot mode, where the agent drafts replies as internal notes for your human agents
- Switch to direct reply once the quality satisfies you, channel by channel
- Watch the Insights dashboard, let self-learning absorb your agents' answers and refine the guidance
- Check the cost estimator in Account Settings under Billing, which populates within seven days of connecting your helpdesk
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Published, predictable per-ticket pricing rather than a figure hidden behind a sales call
- Adds to the helpdesk you already run, so there is no migration and no retraining for agents
- Fast to set up, with no developer required for the standard installation
- Resolution performance is measured and published, alongside a first-party benchmark of 195 deployments
- Gradual rollout path from internal-note copilot to fully autonomous replies
- Serious compliance posture for a small vendor: SOC 2 Type II, published DPA, named subprocessors, ICO registration
- A 30-day trial with no credit card, plus a conditional money-back guarantee on the first paid Pro month
Cons
- No permanent free plan, and the entry tier costs $199 per month once the trial ends
- Requires an existing helpdesk, or adoption of the built-in widget
- Answer quality depends entirely on the quality of the documentation you feed it
- The billing unit is confusing: a conversation is defined differently on the widget, on integrations and on email tickets
- No mobile app for iOS or Android
- Vectors are hosted in the United States, with no documented EU data residency option
- The privacy policy has not been updated since January 2024 and still names Pinecone where the security documentation names Qdrant

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how My AskAI handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR implementation is unusually concrete for a company this size. My AskAI publishes a dedicated GDPR page, declares itself a data controller (and a processor when embedded in a customer's service), names a DPO reachable through chat, and lists every subprocessor with a link to its DPA. Data subject rights under Articles 12 to 23 are exercised by emailing team@myaskai.com and are answered within 30 days. Transfers to the United States rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A Data Processing Agreement is published and signed copies are available to paying customers; a DPIA is available on the Enterprise plan. The company is registered with the UK ICO under reference ZB608683. No Article 27 EU representative is named anywhere.
Who owns the data?
The customer keeps ownership of everything uploaded. My AskAI states that the content and data you upload are yours and yours alone, used for no purpose other than running your AI support agent and answering your own support queries. You also retain copyright over any output your agent produces from your proprietary content. Deleting an item in the interface deletes it from the servers. My AskAI acts as data controller for its own customers, and can become a data processor when a customer embeds it in their own service, for instance through the API. Data is never sold or passed to third parties for marketing purposes.
Reuse rights
Customers may reuse the answers and content their agent produces without asking permission: copyright in output generated from proprietary content stays with the customer, and uploaded material can be exported or deleted at will from the dashboard. On the vendor side the permitted uses are deliberately narrow. My AskAI says data is used only to run your agent and improve the product, never sold or shared with third parties for marketing, and never used to train OpenAI models. Uploaded files are deleted automatically once indexed unless you explicitly ask to keep them. The self-learning feature does reuse your resolved tickets and agent replies, but only to improve your own agent. Note the vendor's own caution: you are asked not to upload personal data to an AskAI.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Uploaded content is turned into vectors and stored encrypted on Qdrant, which runs on Google Cloud Platform in The Dalles, Oregon, in the United States (region us-west1). The older privacy policy still names Pinecone on the same GCP region, an inconsistency the vendor has not resolved. All data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.2+, and each customer's uploaded content sits in isolated containers. Files are deleted automatically once they have been indexed into the agent, unless you explicitly ask to keep them. My AskAI says it processes personal data in the EU where it can, but eighteen named subprocessors are located in the United States, including OpenAI, Bubble, Cloudflare, Render, AWS, Stripe and Qdrant itself. Those transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and each subprocessor is listed with a link to its own data processing agreement. No EU-only data residency option is documented.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting My AskAI.
- The billing unit is not a ticket: a conversation is defined differently on the widget, on helpdesk integrations and on email, so model your real volume before committing
- The $0.10 per ticket figure is an entry point, not the total: the $199 or $499 monthly subscription sits on top of it
- Two resolution figures circulate, around 75% as a product claim and 72%+ as a measured rate, and they are not interchangeable
- No postal address is published anywhere on the site; the legal identity is only verifiable through the ICO register the documentation links to
- Data is hosted in the United States with no documented EU residency option, which may not suit regulated or public-sector buyers
- The Pro plan money-back guarantee is heavily conditioned: 500+ conversations handled in direct reply mode, an onboarding call, an offboarding call and a claim within 14 days
- Handing front-line answers to an AI can erode a team's feel for what customers actually struggle with, so keep reading the Insights rather than only the deflection rate
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for the standard setup. Connecting a helpdesk and the knowledge sources takes a few clicks and no developer, and the vendor advertises a few minutes of hands-on work. The recommended path is to start in internal-note copilot mode and switch to autonomous replies after testing, which spreads the risk rather than the effort. Technical skill is only needed for the optional layers: the User Data API, tasks and tools, and webhooks into internal systems. Agents install a Chrome extension on their side.

Should you pick My AskAI?
My AskAI occupies a deliberately narrow position, and that is its strength. It is not a helpdesk and does not try to become one: it is the AI layer you bolt onto Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Gorgias or HubSpot when the ticket queue outgrows the team. That focus removes the usual obstacle to adopting AI support, since nobody has to migrate and agents keep working where they already work.
The commercial case rests on transparency about price. Charging from about $0.10 per ticket and publishing the figure, rather than metering per resolution behind a sales call, is a real difference from the native AI of the big helpdesk vendors, and the comparison is easy for a buyer to run. The claims are also unusually well evidenced: a measured resolution rate rather than only a marketing one, named case studies with volumes, and a first-party benchmark across 38 vendors. Governance is stronger than the size of the company would suggest, with SOC 2 Type II, a published DPA, a named list of subprocessors and a UK ICO registration.
The reservations are practical rather than fundamental. The entry point is $199 per month with no permanent free tier, so small volumes will not pay for themselves. The conversation-based billing unit deserves a careful read before signing, because it is not one ticket. Data sits in the United States with no documented EU residency option, which will matter to some buyers. And the published legal documents are uneven: the privacy policy dates from January 2024 and contradicts the newer security pages on the vector database. Worth a trial for any team with solid documentation and repetitive volume.
