Pricing & Plans
Scooli operates a freemium model. A permanent free plan grants 20 credits per month, renewed every month, with no payment card and no commitment; one credit corresponds to one AI-generated document, and asking for another version of the same material counts again. The cheapest paid entry point is the Pro plan at 4.99 EUR per month under the current "Regresso as Aulas 2026" promotion, down from a 6.99 EUR list price, or 47.90 EUR per year instead of 67.10 EUR. Activating during the promotion is said to lock the price permanently. Note that the 3.99 EUR per month displayed on the pricing page is the monthly equivalent of the annual payment, not a monthly charge. Schools and institutions are quoted individually. Payment is handled by Stripe and subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.

GDPR overview
The Privacy Policy, effective 15 July 2025, is written explicitly under the GDPR and lists eight data subject rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a supervisory authority. Requests go to info@scooli.app and a 30-day response is promised. Legal bases are consent, legitimate interests and legal obligation; security measures cited are SSL/TLS encryption and restricted-access servers. The Terms add Portuguese governing law and forbid sharing pupils' or other minors' personal data without a legal basis. The trust page claims to be "RGPD-ready", a posture rather than a certification. Concretely missing: no data protection officer, no subprocessor list, no DPA on offer, no ISO or SOC certification, and no stated hosting country. The policy also predates the paid product and never mentions prompts, uploads or AI outputs.
Who owns the data?
The Terms of Use, effective 5 January 2026, leave uploaded and generated material with the teacher, but say so only by omission: nothing in them transfers ownership of AI outputs to Scooli. The one explicit grant concerns the community library. Posting a resource there gives Scooli a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce and make that content available within the service, and the teacher warrants they hold the rights to publish it. Scooli may moderate, remove or restrict community content. On the personal-data side the Privacy Policy is unambiguous: personal data is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for commercial purposes, and sharing is limited to service providers, legal obligations, rights protection and explicit consent.
Reuse rights
Everything Scooli produces is meant to be reused. Generated documents are editable line by line, stay in the teacher's personal library, and can be duplicated and adapted for another class the following week without asking anyone. Teachers can also start from their own existing documents and have them transformed. Publishing to the shared community library is the only step that changes anything: it hands Scooli a non-exclusive hosting and reproduction licence, and other Portuguese teachers may then duplicate and adapt that resource. The vendor repeats on the homepage and on its trust page that prompts and materials are not used to train AI models, though no opt-out control is documented, since the commitment is described as a default rather than a setting. Teachers are also asked to avoid entering unnecessary personal data about pupils and to prefer pedagogical context to identifiable information.

Hosting summary
Scooli discloses nothing about where user data is hosted. The privacy policy, effective 15 July 2025, states only that SSL/TLS encryption protects data in transit and that information is stored on "secure servers with restricted access". No country, no region and no jurisdiction is named on any page, including the trust page that exists specifically to answer such questions. The Terms establish Portuguese governing law, which says something about the applicable legal regime but nothing about physical data location. No subprocessor list is published; the only third parties named anywhere are Stripe, cited as the payment processor on the pricing page, and Clerk, visible as the authentication provider on the application subdomain, neither of them presented as processors in a formal disclosure. Technical resolution of the domain points to a content delivery network, which indicates nothing about where the vendor stores teachers' documents. A school required to document EU data residency will have to ask directly.
