Runable
Runable is an AI general agent that turns a single plain-language brief into finished work — websites, slide decks, videos, images, reports, spreadsheets and audio — then lets you edit, roll back and publish the result.
What is Runable?
Runable is an AI general agent rather than another single-purpose tool. The premise, set out at length on its story page, is that software has spent decades selling better instruments — better slide editors, better design suites, better code editors — when what people actually wanted was the outcome: the deck, the site, the report, the video. Runable's argument is that the first wave of AI simply rebuilt those silos, one chatbot per vertical, and that one agent should cover them all.
In practice a single agent produces websites and mobile apps, slide decks, carousels, videos, images, audio, research reports, spreadsheets and freeform canvas work. The working loop stays the same across formats. You describe the goal in plain language; the agent asks clarifying questions about audience, tone and constraints; it shows the plan it intends to follow, slide by slide or section by section; it builds while each step runs visibly in real time; you refine by instruction, roll back to any earlier version, or branch the conversation to try a different direction; then you export to PDF, PPTX, MP4, PNG, XLSX or CSV, or publish a site on a custom domain.
Underneath, work runs in a private sandbox where the agent writes code, executes commands and browses the web. Ten models are advertised on the pricing page, among them GPT 5.5 Pro, Claude Opus 5, Gemini 3.5 Flash, Grok 4.20 Reasoning, DeepSeek V4 Flash and Kimi K3, and the model can be chosen per task. Installable Skills and a persistent Memory specialise the agent, and custom skills can be defined. More than a hundred curated workflows cover finance, recruiting, real estate, e-commerce, engineering and research. Plugins connect over 3,000 applications, RunClaw exposes the agent inside Slack, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, iMessage and Discord, and Run Meet joins Google Meet, Zoom and Teams calls as a notetaker before handing the follow-up back to the agent.
The company was founded in 2025 and is based in Bangalore. It claims more than 1.5 million customers and publishes benchmark scores led by 92.1% on GAIA. Both the benchmark figures and the customer count are the vendor's own claims, published without a named independent evaluator.
What it does
- Turn one plain-language brief into a finished deliverable, planned and executed end to end
- Build and deploy full-stack websites and mobile apps with database, file storage, Stripe payments, custom domain and analytics
- Generate editable slide decks, carousels and research-grade reports with citations, charts and version history
- Create and edit images and video, including background removal, upscaling, in-image text editing, motion control and timeline assembly
- Produce audio: text-to-speech, music generation, voice cloning, sound effects, dubbing and transcription
- Run the agent from Slack, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, iMessage or Discord and connect it to more than 3,000 apps
- Send an AI notetaker into Google Meet, Zoom or Teams calls, then hand the follow-up work back to the agent
When to use Runable / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Runable is the right fit.
When to use Runable
- Solo founders and small-business owners who need a website, a pitch deck and a launch video without hiring separately for each
- Marketers and content teams producing carousels, ad creative, landing pages and short-form video from a single brief
- Analysts in finance, consulting and research who want sourced reports, comparables and three-statement models drafted for them
- Recruiters, job seekers and students working through candidate sourcing, résumés, cover letters and interview preparation
- Teams that would rather trigger the agent from Slack, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, iMessage or Discord than open another dashboard
When not to use Runable
- Developers who need a public API: Runable exposes none, and the OpenAPI file shipped with its documentation is an unmodified Mintlify sample
- Organisations whose procurement requires SOC 2 or ISO 27001 evidence, a signed DPA, or an EU Article 27 representative — none of these exist
- Teams bound to EU data residency, since all infrastructure and all nineteen disclosed sub-processors sit in the United States
- Anyone who needs a documented way to keep their data out of model training, because no opt-out is published
- Buyers who need predictable per-task costs, as billing is credit-based and varies with model, resolution, duration and audio
How to use Runable
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create an account at runable.com; the free plan starts immediately with 1,500 credits per day
- Describe the outcome you want in plain language, including the format, the audience and any constraints that matter
- Answer the clarifying questions the agent asks before it builds anything
- Review the plan it proposes, section by section or slide by slide, and approve or adjust it
- Watch it execute: the agent searches the web, writes code, generates images and assembles the deliverable step by step
- Refine by instruction, roll back to an earlier version, or branch the conversation to test a different direction
- Prefer the Canvas editing tools over chat requests for image tweaks; the documentation reports up to ten times fewer credits
- Export to PDF, PPTX, MP4, PNG, XLSX or CSV, publish a site on a custom domain, or share a public link
- Connect the applications you already use through the one-click plugin directory
- Install the macOS, iOS or Android app, or call the agent from Slack, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, iMessage or Discord
Pros & Cons
Pros
- One subscription covers a range of formats that would otherwise mean five or six separate tools
- A genuinely permanent free plan of 1,500 credits a day, up to 15,000 a month, with access to the advertised models
- Ten models to choose from, including frontier models, selectable per task
- An unusually detailed sub-processor page naming nineteen vendors with their role and location, rare for a company this young
- Exceptionally specific handling of Google Workspace data: named scopes, Limited Use, no training on that data, encrypted tokens
- The agent reaches you where you already work, with native macOS, iOS and Android apps alongside five chat platforms
- Rollback and conversation branching let you explore alternatives without losing the current version
Cons
- No public API: the API reference route returns a 404 and the OpenAPI file in the documentation is Mintlify's unmodified sample
- No security certification is claimed anywhere — no SOC 2, no ISO 27001 and no trust page at all
- No customer DPA is published or offered, and neither an EU Article 27 representative nor a data protection officer is designated
- No documented way to exclude your data from model training, and the terms' "improving the Services" wording leaves the general position unresolved
- Hosting is exclusively United States-based, with no EU data residency option despite the GDPR claim
- Credit-based pricing makes the real cost of a task hard to predict, and free daily credits neither roll over nor exceed 15,000 a month
- No postal address or full legal name appears anywhere on the site, and the terms name no governing jurisdiction
Pricing & Plans
Runable operates on a freemium basis. A permanent free plan is available at no cost, granting 1,500 credits per day up to a monthly ceiling of 15,000. The lowest paid entry point is the Pro plan at USD 20.00 per month on monthly billing, with the Max plan at USD 100.00 per month. Annual billing is advertised at a 25% saving, which the homepage and comparison page present as USD 15 per month for Pro. One-time credit top-ups, which do not expire, are available on every paid plan. Consumed credits and fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Runable handles your data.
GDPR overview
Runable claims GDPR compliance explicitly: its privacy policy states the document is designed to comply with applicable data protection regulations including the EU GDPR and Brazil's LGPD. The concrete mentions are substantial. Four legal bases are named — contract performance, legitimate interest, consent and legal obligation — and the rights listed cover access, correction, deletion, marketing opt-out, withdrawal of consent and portability in a structured, machine-readable format, all exercised by writing to support@runable.com. The company undertakes to notify affected users and supervisory authorities, including EU authorities and Brazil's ANPD, within statutory deadlines. Three gaps matter: no Article 27 EU representative is designated, no data protection officer is named, and no data processing agreement is published or offered. Hosting is entirely United States-based.
Who owns the data?
Runable's terms are explicit that you keep ownership of everything you submit — content, data, prompts and materials, collectively "User Content". In exchange you grant Runable a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to process, store and use that material for three stated purposes only: providing and improving the Services, generating the outputs you request, and maintaining platform functionality, safety and compliance. Ownership of the platform itself runs the other way: the software, branding, interface and underlying systems belong to Runable or its licensors. Exported outputs may be used commercially, but templates and design assets may not be resold, redistributed or offered as standalone products.
Reuse rights
Yes. Outputs you generate are yours to use commercially without asking permission: the terms state that exported work may be used commercially, and that you retain ownership of the inputs you supply. Two limits apply. Templates, layouts and design assets are licensed for use through the Services only, so you may not resell them, redistribute them, or offer them as standalone products or competing services. And you may not use the Services to build or train a competing AI system without written permission. Runable also disclaims any guarantee of originality, accuracy, legality or fitness for purpose, which leaves the duty to check an output before publishing or relying on it with you.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Runable states that its infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform, with servers located in Oregon, United States. If you use the service from outside that region your data may be transferred internationally; the safeguards offered are encryption in transit and at rest together with contractual protections with service providers, presented as satisfying the GDPR and Brazil's LGPD. No EU data residency option is offered. The sub-processor page, last updated in July 2026, is unusually complete: nineteen vendors are named with their role and location, and every one of them is in the United States. They include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Vercel for models and infrastructure, E2B for sandboxed code execution, Pipedream for connected-app execution, Cloudflare for hosting and network security, Recall.ai for meeting recording, PostHog and AppsFlyer for analytics and attribution, Intercom for support, Stripe, Autumn and RevenueCat for billing, and Twilio, Sendblue and Resend for communications. Runable undertakes to update the page and to inform affected customers of material changes.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Runable.
- Headline benchmark scores and the 1.5 million customer count are the vendor's own claims; the homepage says "independently evaluated" without naming an evaluator or linking a report
- Delegating whole deliverables end to end can erode the judgement needed to spot a confidently wrong output, and the terms place verification squarely on you
- Credit billing rewards speed and volume, which can quietly become overspending, since cost varies with model, resolution, duration and audio
- Outputs are supplied as-is with no guarantee of originality, accuracy or legality, yet they are easy to publish straight to a live domain
- Connecting Gmail, Drive, Calendar and Google Ads grants broad access to your working life; disconnecting stops future use but does not delete what is already stored
- The general position on training with customer data is unresolved and no opt-out exists, so sensitive material is best kept out of prompts
- The terms name no governing jurisdiction and the site publishes no postal address, which would make any dispute harder to pursue
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. An account and a browser are enough: there is nothing to install and no server-side configuration. Optional native apps exist for macOS, iOS and Android, and third-party services connect through one-click authorisation. No code is required, and the agent asks its own scoping questions before building. More advanced settings such as environment variables, custom domains, Stripe and analytics only appear if you publish a website. The real learning curve is economic rather than technical: understanding how credits are consumed, and when to edit on the Canvas instead of through chat, is what determines cost.

Should you pick Runable?
Runable makes an unusually direct bet: that a single agent, asked for an outcome, can replace the stack of vertical AI subscriptions most people now carry. The breadth is real. Websites with databases and payments, slide decks, carousels, sourced reports, spreadsheets, images, video and a full audio suite all come out of the same conversation, with a working loop — clarify, plan, build, refine, export — that stays consistent across formats. A permanent free plan of 1,500 daily credits makes that breadth genuinely testable before paying, and at USD 20 a month the Pro tier undercuts almost any two of the tools it aims to displace.
The reservations are as clear as the strengths, and they cluster around governance rather than capability. There is no public API. There is no security certification, no trust page, no customer DPA and no EU representative, and all infrastructure along with all nineteen disclosed sub-processors sits in the United States. The company claims GDPR compliance and documents its Google Workspace handling in impressive detail, yet leaves the broader question of whether customer data trains its models unanswered, with no opt-out published. Credit-based billing also makes the cost of any single task hard to forecast.
Runable suits creators, solo founders, small businesses and marketing or content teams who value range and speed and can absorb some unpredictability in cost. It is a poor fit for regulated buyers, for anyone needing EU data residency or contractual data-protection guarantees, and for developers expecting programmatic access. The company was founded in 2025 and is young by any measure; its headline benchmark scores and its 1.5 million customer count are its own claims, published without a named evaluator. Test it on the free plan before committing.
