Everything runs on a single currency: 10 credits per generation, identical across all nine tools, which makes cost easy to forecast. The application announces roughly sixty seconds of waiting per image, displays results at 1280 by 768 pixels and offers a 4K download. Output can be steered with three guidance levels, Precise, Balanced and Creative, or started from templates organised by style, colour palette, time of day and main material, including commercial spaces such as shops, play areas and hotel rooms. Generated images land in a built-in gallery and can be fed back in as input.
Access is through an account on app.neolocus.ai and nothing is installed. One constraint is stated plainly: the playground is unavailable on mobile devices and requires a desktop computer. A thirty-minute onboarding session comes with every plan, free tier included, and that free tier already carries a commercial licence and watermark-free output. GDPR overview
There is no GDPR framework on this site at all. A search of the whole collected corpus, marketing pages plus the application bundle that carries both legal documents, returns not a single occurrence of GDPR or General Data Protection Regulation. The privacy policy, effective 1 July 2024, claims compliance with one law only: the California Consumer Privacy Act. No Article 27 representative is designated, no data protection officer is named, no privacy contact address is published, no Data Processing Agreement is offered, no subprocessor list exists, and no retention period or rights procedure is described. The terms place the company in Saudi Arabia under Saudi law and contemplate transferring user information there, naming no transfer mechanism. This is silence rather than refusal, but for a European user the practical effect is the same.
Who owns the data?
The terms, effective 1 July 2024, keep all platform content and services in the hands of Neolocus or its licensors. What a user uploads is treated differently: submitting it grants Neolocus a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, non-exclusive, perpetual and irrevocable licence to copy, modify, translate, distribute, publish and even sell it, without credit or compensation, and the company may publish the user's name alongside it. No clause states who owns a generated render; the commercial licence is advertised on the pricing page, not in the contract. Users are told to keep their own backups. Payment processors may store card numbers, which the publisher says it does not.
Reuse rights
Every tier, including the free one, advertises a commercial licence and watermark-free output, so renders can in practice be reused in client work without asking permission. That permission lives on the pricing page rather than in the contract: the terms never say who owns a generated image, and they limit use of platform content to personal and internal business purposes. In the other direction, the privacy policy of 1 July 2024 lets Neolocus use uploaded photos, text prompts, project details and communications to operate and improve the platform, personalise it, run research and development, and review communications automatically. Contact details are neither sold nor rented, but they are shared with service providers and partners. Training AI models on customer content is never mentioned either way.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
The only jurisdiction Neolocus names is Saudi Arabia. Section 17 of the terms states that the company is headquartered there, that the services are governed by Saudi law, and that a user outside the country consents to their information being transferred to, stored and processed in Saudi Arabia where its servers may be located. The wording is conditional rather than a commitment, and it is the only hosting statement published anywhere on the site: no hosting provider is named, no region or data centre is identified, and no international transfer mechanism is described. The marketing domain resolves to an anycast address in the United States, but that describes how the public website is delivered, not where uploaded images and generated renders are stored. In practice a user should assume Saudi jurisdiction over their data, without any published guarantee of where it physically sits.

Should you pick Neolocus?
Neolocus is a real, working product with an unusually clear purpose. The nine tools are named, demonstrated and priced, the credit economy is uniform and easy to forecast, and the application is sold through public tiers rather than a sales call. For an architect or interior designer already working in SketchUp, Revit, Enscape or Lumion, the proposition is concrete: turn work already done into presentation-grade images in about a minute, with a commercial licence and no watermark even on the free plan. That last point is genuinely rare.
The reservation concerns the paperwork rather than the product. The privacy policy still carries the name of a different company in several sections, describes a website at a domain that is not this one, and simply stops in the middle of section 3.b, so retention, user rights and contact details are never published. The terms of use end at section 18 while cross-referencing a section 21 that does not exist. The footer email link was never filled in. GDPR is not mentioned once anywhere on the site: the only framework claimed is California's CCPA, while the terms place the company in Saudi Arabia under Saudi law and the sole published postal address sits in California.
None of this makes the tool less capable, and none of it points to bad faith. It reads as a small team that shipped a product faster than it proofread its contracts. It does mean, however, that a European buyer, or any buyer working through a procurement checklist, has little solid to point at. Try it for the rendering, which is what it does well, and ask questions before committing sensitive project material to it.
