Koast

Koast is an operating layer for Meta advertising teams. It batch-launches ads across every connected account, runs AI agents that triage, pause and report around the clock, and moves creative from brief to live.

Overview

What is Koast?

Koast is an operating layer built on top of Meta's official Marketing API. It does not replace your ad accounts, it drives them, and the vendor's own line sums up the ambition: Ads Manager was built to publish, not to profit.

Three blocks make up the product. The first is agentic. You brief an agent the way you would brief a senior buyer, in plain language or from a template, attach the accounts and set a cadence. It then runs on a schedule, on a metric trigger, on a Frame.io approval or on demand. Routine moves execute on their own, sensitive ones are staged for your review at login, and every action is logged with a stated reason. If the Meta API goes down, affected entities pause automatically until it recovers.

The second block is launching. Drop the 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5 exports of a hook together and they are grouped into one placement-ready ad. A saved template applies your campaign, ad set and ad naming, UTMs, pixels and placements. Page, pixel and conversion event are resolved account by account before anything runs, and one confirmation publishes the entire batch. A single post ID travels across every account so that likes, shares and comments compound, and export filenames and EXIF metadata are stripped before Meta ever sees a file.

The third block is the command centre and the creative pipeline. Spend, ROAS, CPA and CTR sit side by side for every account, across several Business Managers and profiles, with admin-level tracking of who changed what. Strategists, editors, content managers and buyers work a five-stage board, from requested through uploaded, in review and approved to published, holding Koast roles rather than Business Manager seats.

Eight integrations are live: Meta, Slack, Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox, Cometly, Hyros and Whop. The vendor claims more than 1.5 billion dollars of ad spend processed, 7.1 times higher publishing volume and 12% of spend saved on zero-purchase ads. One caveat frames all of it: the scope is Meta only, the product is web-only, and it was previously sold under the AdCopy.ai brand.

What it does

  • Launch a batch of Meta ads into several ad accounts in a single confirmed run
  • Delegate triage, stop-losses, creative fatigue audits and recaps to AI agents that wait for your sign-off
  • Pause any ad that crosses a CPA or spend threshold, on a check that runs every five minutes
  • Track spend, ROAS, CPA and CTR across the whole portfolio on one screen
  • Move a creative from brief to published on a shared board, with a Frame.io approval as the trigger
  • Generate ad copy variations in any language from the copy settings panel
  • Create ad accounts, pages and pixels natively through the Whop partnership
Audience

When to use Koast / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Koast is the right fit.

When to use Koast

  • Media buyers testing dozens of Meta ad hooks every week
  • Agencies running the same creative across a roster of client ad accounts
  • In-house performance teams whose testing volume is capped by manual work in Ads Manager
  • Brand owners who hold the only Business Manager access and have become the bottleneck
  • Creative strategists, editors and content managers who ship ads from Frame.io, Drive or Dropbox

When not to use Koast

  • Advertisers buying on Google, LinkedIn or Amazon: Koast only touches Meta, and TikTok is still announced rather than live
  • Small budgets, since the entry plan costs 499 USD a month with no free tier
  • Teams that want to try before they pay, as the vendor states there is no trial at the moment
  • Buyers looking for audience and bidding optimisation rather than launching, whom the site itself points towards Madgicx
  • Developers expecting a public API, which is not documented anywhere; custom integrations are an Enterprise option
Get started

How to use Koast

A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.

  1. Book a demo through the sign-up form, or subscribe to the Growth plan self-serve on the billing page
  2. Connect Meta through the official API and select which ad accounts come into Koast
  3. Invite teammates by email and give each one a role: strategist, editor, content manager, media buyer or view-only
  4. Connect the creative sources your team already uses, Google Drive, Dropbox and Frame.io
  5. Connect your attribution source, Cometly or Hyros
  6. Build a launch template with your campaign, ad set and ad naming, UTMs, pixels and placements
  7. Brief a creative on the board with a title, priority, starting stage, assignees and references
  8. Upload or import the creatives, which are size-grouped and cleaned as they land
  9. Pick the objective, select the destination accounts, apply the template, check the summary screen and confirm the batch
  10. Arm the agent tasks, from morning triage to stop-loss, fatigue audit, recap and month-end forecast, then approve the staged actions at login

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Flat pricing that never takes a percentage of ad spend, so the bill does not move when budgets do
  • Stop-losses check every five minutes, where a manual review only catches the bleeding hours later
  • One screen for an entire portfolio, across several Business Managers and profiles
  • Roles instead of Business Manager seats, so freelancers and juniors never receive account keys
  • A Frame.io approval can publish the ad by itself, closing the gap between sign-off and launch
  • File hygiene is automatic: EXIF stripped and client export filenames rewritten to your convention
  • Teammate seats are included on both plans, and an explicit failsafe covers Meta API outages

Cons

  • Meta only, with no Google, LinkedIn or Amazon buying surface and TikTok still announced rather than live
  • No free plan and, at the time of this review, no free trial: the vendor answers that there is none right now
  • An entry price of 499 USD a month, which rules out small accounts
  • The terms of service say there are no refunds while the homepage advertises a 30-day satisfaction guarantee
  • Those terms are dated February 2024, are still written in the AdCopy name, and point to a pricing URL and a support address that no longer resolve
  • A perpetual, irrevocable licence over customer content, explicitly covering AI model improvement, with Meta ad data also used to inform other clients
  • No hosting country, no data processing agreement, no Article 27 representative and no security certification are published

Enterprise pricing is quoted individually on an annual agreement. Koast never charges a percentage of ad spend.

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Koast handles your data.

GDPR overview

The privacy policy, effective 28 April 2026, devotes a full section to the GDPR. The company names itself the data controller and its service providers data processors, lists the six legal bases it relies on, and grants access, rectification, objection, erasure, portability and withdrawal of consent, with a reminder of the right to complain to a supervisory authority. A further section opens deletion to every user regardless of jurisdiction, handled within thirty days. What is absent matters as much: no Article 27 representative is designated, no data protection officer is named, no data processing agreement is published or offered, no standard contractual clauses are cited, and no hosting country or region is disclosed. Every privacy request goes to a single generic address, help@koast.ai.

Who owns the data?

Under the terms of service, customer content stays the customer's: the vendor claims no ownership over the creatives and copy you produce. In exchange you grant it a royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable, perpetual, irrevocable and worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify, distribute and make derivative works of that content, explicitly including the modification, improvement and enhancement of its artificial intelligence models. Aggregated statistics compiled from your usage are a separate matter: all right, title and interest in them belong solely to the vendor, and you irrevocably assign them. Feedback is treated as non-confidential and assigned in the same way. Google user data, by contrast, is never sold and never used for advertising.

Reuse rights

Nothing in the terms restricts what you do with the ads, copy and creatives you produce: they remain yours and you may reuse them commercially without asking permission. The counterpart is responsibility. You must hold every right and consent attached to the material, including the name, voice and likeness of anyone appearing in it, and a list of prohibited content applies, covering hate speech, impostor profiles, election material, malicious code and other people's personal data. Separately, by using the service you accept that your Meta advertising data may be read, analysed and used to improve the vendor's AI models, feed its machine-learning databases and inform insights served to other clients. Opting out of the non-Google improvement uses is possible, but only by writing to help@koast.ai.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Personal data is kept for as long as the stated purposes require, then for whatever period legal obligations, disputes or enforcement demand; usage data is generally kept for a shorter time unless it serves security or product improvement. Any user, in any jurisdiction, may request deletion at any time, by email to help@koast.ai with the subject line Data Deletion Request, through the in-app support chat, or by post. Verified requests are processed within thirty days and confirmed in writing, and cover account and profile information, activity logs, data gathered through third-party connections including Meta, and input and output data. Identity is checked first. Data may be kept longer where the law requires it, to complete pending transactions or to detect fraud, with the reason and expected duration notified. No fixed retention period is published for other categories.

Hosting summary

Koast publishes almost nothing about where data lives. The privacy policy states only that information is processed at the company's operating offices and wherever the parties involved are located, and that it may be transferred outside the user's own jurisdiction; the company undertakes to transfer only where adequate controls exist, without naming a single mechanism, and no standard contractual clauses are cited. No hosting country, region or cloud provider appears anywhere on the site, and no data processing agreement is published or offered on request. What is known is the jurisdiction of the company itself: Reign Technologies LLC is a Florida entity, with offices given as 815 Water St, Tampa FL 33602 in the privacy policy and a corporate headquarters at 186 Medici Terrace, North Venice FL 34275 in the terms; the contract is governed by Delaware law with AAA arbitration. The website is served behind Cloudflare on an anycast address resolving to a United States node. Named third-party processors include Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, DoubleClick, Facebook, LinkedIn, User.com and Stripe. No SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification is claimed.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Koast.

  • The licence granted over your creatives is perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide and sublicensable, and explicitly covers improving the vendor's AI models
  • Your Meta advertising data may be used to inform insights served to other clients, competitors included
  • The training opt-out has no in-product switch and is obtained only by writing to support
  • Handing budget decisions to automated agents cuts both ways: a badly calibrated stop-loss kills profitable ads, an automatic scale burns money
  • Delegating triage, audits and recaps erodes a team's own feel for its accounts over time
  • Single-vendor and single-platform dependency, since a Meta outage, a policy change or an account suspension halts the whole chain
  • Aggregated statistics derived from your usage become the vendor's exclusive property, with no consideration in return
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Low. Setup amounts to an OAuth connection to Meta, a choice of ad accounts and a round of email invitations; Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io, Cometly and Hyros connect by authorisation, with no code to write and no public API to integrate against. The vendor says teams are operational in an afternoon and launch their first batch the same day, with Enterprise onboarding completed within 48 hours. The real effort is organisational rather than technical: agreeing the naming conventions, UTMs, pixels and placements that go into the launch template, since everything published afterwards inherits them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which advertising platforms does Koast support?
Meta only, meaning Facebook and Instagram, through the official Marketing API. TikTok is announced as coming, and no other network is offered.
How much does Koast cost, and is there a free trial?
The Growth plan costs 499 USD per month, billed month to month, and Enterprise is quoted individually on an annual agreement. There is no free plan, and the vendor states that no trial is available at the moment. A 30-day satisfaction guarantee applies if you cannot get the platform running.
How many ad accounts can I connect?
Up to ten on Growth and an unlimited number on Enterprise. Through the Whop partnership you can also create new ad accounts, pages and pixels natively inside Koast.
Does Koast replace my media buyer?
No. It absorbs the routine work, from triage and stop-losses to recaps and audits, while the buyer keeps the strategy and the final sign-off on anything sensitive.
Can my team work without Business Manager access?
Yes. Strategists, editors, content managers and buyers receive Koast roles scoped to their job rather than seats in your Business Manager, and Enterprise adds view-only reporting seats for clients and leadership.
Is my data used to train the models?
Yes. The terms state that your Meta advertising data may be used to improve the vendor's AI models and to inform insights served to other clients, and input and output data feed service improvement. You can opt out of the non-Google improvement uses by writing to help@koast.ai.
Can I have my data deleted?
Yes, whatever your jurisdiction. Requests go by email to help@koast.ai with the subject line Data Deletion Request, through the in-app support chat, or by post, and verified requests are processed within thirty days.
How long does setup take, and is there an API?
Connecting Meta and selecting accounts takes an afternoon, and most teams launch their first batch the same day; Enterprise onboarding is described as complete within 48 hours. There is no public API, and custom integrations are an Enterprise option.
Can Koast write ads in other languages?
Yes. The help centre explains that copy variations can be generated in any language, including regional variants such as British English, American English or Brazilian Portuguese, from the copy settings panel.
What happens if the Meta API goes down mid-flight?
Workflows carry an explicit outage policy: affected entities pause automatically until the API recovers, and the agent logs exactly what it did and why.
Conclusion

Should you pick Koast?

Koast is a narrow tool, and deliberately so. It only touches Meta, and it only starts paying for itself beyond a certain volume of launching: a team publishing a handful of ads a month will not recover 499 dollars, while one shipping hundreds across a roster of accounts plausibly will. The three levers the vendor puts forward, namely publishing volume, the speed at which unproductive ads are cut and the removal of shared Business Manager seats, are the right ones for that audience, and the pricing model is unusually legible for this market: a flat fee, never a percentage of spend.

The reservations are contractual rather than functional. The terms of service still carry an effective date of 1 February 2024, are written throughout in the name of AdCopy, and point to a pricing page and a support address that no longer resolve, two years behind a privacy policy refreshed in April 2026. They also grant a perpetual, irrevocable licence over customer content, explicitly for improving AI models, and allow Meta advertising data to inform insights served to other clients; an opt-out exists, but it is obtained only by email. A no-refunds clause sits awkwardly beside the 30-day satisfaction guarantee advertised on the homepage.

Transparency on infrastructure is thin: no hosting country, no data processing agreement, no Article 27 representative, no security certification. Corporate identity is blurred too, with Reign Technologies LLC in the contracts, Reign Technologies Inc in the footers and AdCopy AI, Inc. still named as the DMCA agent.

For a performance team already living inside Ads Manager, the operational case is strong and easy to test in a demo. For anyone who has to clear a vendor through procurement or a privacy review, the paperwork is where the work will be.
