Norby AI
Norby AI is a no-code chatbot that answers customer questions from content you paste in — product descriptions, documentation, FAQs. It runs as a website widget or on Discord, Telegram and Instagram. Its application was unreachable when we reviewed it.
What is Norby AI?
Norby AI is a no-code conversational agent that a business trains on its own material. You copy a product or service description, a piece of documentation or an existing FAQ into what Norby calls an automation — a unit of 4,000 characters of training content — and the assistant then answers customers from that text. No programming is required for this step, which is the product's central claim: whoever wrote the FAQ is capable of configuring the bot.
Once trained, the assistant is added to a website as a chat widget and can enrich its replies with widgets of its own: product cards, forms and buttons. It is not confined to the web. The site describes integration with Discord, Telegram and Instagram, while acknowledging that these channels require some technical know-how and offering developer assistance. All three plans carry unlimited domains, unlimited GPT requests, unlimited widgets and unlimited team seats; what varies between them is the volume of training content and the level of support. Seventeen languages are claimed, though not one is named.
The publisher is Norby AI OÜ, an Estonian company whose registry code and VAT number appear in the site footer. Alongside the chatbot, Norby runs a distinct Web3 strand: a Cardano token called GALVANIC, an ADA staking pool, quarterly airdrops, and AI agents deployable on X that are paid for in GALV or ADA.
Two verified reservations belong in any description of this tool. First, on 11 August 2026 the application itself — chat.norby.io, the host behind every sign-up, log-in and pricing button on the site — actively refused connections on ports 443 and 80, checked from two independent network paths, while a second subdomain served an expired certificate. Second, the site publishes no terms of service and no personal-data privacy policy, only a generic cookie notice, which leaves the handling of uploaded content and recorded conversations entirely undocumented. The marketing site remains online and its copyright still reads 2024.
What it does
- Answer customer questions from your own product content
- Automate first-line support on a website
- Push product cards, forms and buttons inside the conversation
- Carry the same assistant onto Discord, Telegram or Instagram
- Turn internal documentation into a chat-searchable knowledge base
- Serve unlimited domains and team seats from a single account
When to use Norby AI / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Norby AI is the right fit.
When to use Norby AI
- Small businesses that already have a written FAQ and want it answered automatically on their site
- Web agencies fitting a chatbot onto several client sites at once
- Non-technical owners who would rather paste text than configure software
- Teams whose customers already gather on Discord or Telegram
- Companies wanting internal documentation to become searchable by staff through chat
When not to use Norby AI
- Organisations that need a written data framework: there are no terms of service and no privacy policy
- Regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance or legal work that require contractual data commitments
- Developers who need an API, since none is documented anywhere on the site
- Buyers who expect a support address they can email, as the site publishes none
- Anyone who needs dependable uptime: the application was refusing connections on the day of review
How to use Norby AI
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Register an account on the Norby web application
- Confirm your email address to activate the account
- Create a first automation and paste in your product, service or documentation content
- Add widgets — product cards, forms or buttons — to enrich the replies
- Adjust the hex colour code in your site's code so the widget matches your brand
- Add the chat widget to your website
- Chat with the assistant yourself to check its answers before exposing it to customers
- Ask Norby's developers for help if you want the assistant on Discord, Telegram or Instagram
- Add further automations as your content grows, at €0.18 per automation per day
- Be aware that the sign-up page was unreachable on the review date, so this path could not be walked end to end
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Set-up requires no code: paste your text and the assistant is trained
- A permanent free plan, with no credit card required to start
- Low paid entry point at €9 per month
- Unlimited domains, requests, widgets and seats on all three plans
- Legible pricing, with a calculator for the one variable charge
- Publisher clearly identified, with registry code and VAT number published
- No lock-in: month-to-month billing and plan changes at the next cycle
Cons
- The application was refusing all connections on the day of this review
- No terms of service and no privacy policy covering personal data
- No contact email anywhere, and two 'Write to us' links lead nowhere
- Seventeen languages are claimed but not one is named
- The site contradicts itself on price: €0.17 per automation per day on the homepage against €0.18 on the pricing page
- No API documentation, and the knowledge base is offloaded to a Notion page
- Security is asserted in general terms, with no certification, audit or standard cited
Pricing & Plans
Norby AI operates on a freemium basis. A permanent free plan is available at no cost and requires no credit card. The cheapest paid plan is the Basic Version at EUR 9 per month, and the PRO Version is EUR 50 per month. Every plan carries an additional charge of EUR 0.18 per automation per day, billed monthly.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Norby AI handles your data.
GDPR overview
There is no mention of the GDPR anywhere on the site. This is silence rather than a refusal: Norby AI never states that it is non-compliant, it simply never addresses the subject. No privacy policy in the data-protection sense exists — the page labelled Privacy & Cookies is a generic cookie notice. No data controller is identified, no DPO or Article 27 representative is named, no legal basis is given, no data subject rights are listed and no procedure for exercising them is described. No data processing agreement is offered, no subprocessors are disclosed and no hosting location is stated. The absence is worth noting because the publisher, Norby AI OÜ, is established in Estonia and therefore inside the European Union, where these obligations apply directly.
Who owns the data?
Norby AI publishes no terms and conditions and no personal-data privacy policy, so the question of who owns the content you upload is simply never answered. The only legal page, titled Privacy & Cookies, is a generic cookie notice covering the marketing site. It says nothing about the material you paste into an automation, nothing about the conversations your customers hold with the assistant, and nothing about the rights either party holds over them. No data processing agreement is offered and no subprocessor list is published. Anyone handling customer data should obtain these commitments in writing before uploading anything.
Reuse rights
The site makes no statement about how customer data may be reused. The cookie notice documents only what the marketing site itself collects: form cookies, preference cookies and Google Analytics. Nothing indicates whether content placed in an automation, or the conversations the assistant records, may be reused by the vendor, shared with third parties, or used to train models — the site takes no position either way. The homepage FAQ asserts top-tier security practices without naming a single certification, audit or standard. Users therefore have neither a documented permission nor a documented restriction to rely on.
Data retention & training
Hosting summary
Norby AI publishes no hosting information at all: no country, no region, no provider and no contractual commitment on where data is kept. The question is not addressed on the site's only legal page, which deals exclusively with cookies. Network observation on 11 August 2026 showed the marketing site served through Cloudflare's anycast network, and the application subdomain resolving to an address in a German hosting range, but these are observations of infrastructure rather than statements by the publisher, and they can change without notice. They should not be read as a guarantee that data stays inside the European Union. Prospective users who need a defined jurisdiction — and any organisation subject to the GDPR does — will have to obtain it from the company directly, because nothing on the site supplies it.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Norby AI.
- The application was unreachable on the review date: confirm it is back online before paying anything
- Nothing in writing governs the content you upload or the conversations your customers hold with the assistant
- Passing customer conversations to a service with no published GDPR framework can expose you, not only your vendor
- An assistant trained solely on pasted text will still answer confidently outside its knowledge; review its replies before letting it face customers
- Automating first-line support can quietly erode a team's own familiarity with what customers struggle with
- The per-automation daily charge accumulates in the background: growing your content turns directly into a rising monthly bill
- The Web3 strand ties part of the roadmap to a token whose value you do not control
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low for the intended path. Training requires no code: content is pasted into an automation, and the site claims set-up takes under a minute. Two steps do assume access to your website's code — installing the chat widget and changing the hex colour that makes it match your brand — so a wholly non-technical owner may need a hand. Putting the assistant on Discord, Telegram or Instagram is explicitly described as requiring technical know-how, with the vendor's developers offering help. Free and Basic plans are self-guided; PRO includes an onboarding call.

Should you pick Norby AI?
Norby AI is a modest proposition, and modest is not an insult here: paste your FAQ into a box, get an assistant that answers from it, pay €9 a month once the free tier runs out. For a small business, or for a web agency fitting assistants onto client sites, that simplicity is the whole appeal, and the pricing is unusually legible for this category — three named tiers, unlimited seats and domains on all of them, and a calculator for the single variable charge.
Two things stop us from recommending it without qualification. The first is immediate: on the day of this review, the application behind every button on the site refused connections outright, verified from two independent network paths, while a second subdomain served an expired certificate. The marketing site was untouched, which is a specific and uncomfortable combination. The second is structural: Norby publishes no terms of service and no privacy policy covering personal data, the single legal page being a boilerplate cookie notice. For a tool whose entire function is to ingest a company's content and hold conversations with its customers, that absence is not a formality. It leaves ownership, retention, hosting and model training undocumented, and the publisher is an Estonian company, so EU obligations apply whether or not the site mentions them.
The company itself is real and identifiable, its registry code and VAT number published and independently verifiable. The product is documented in enough detail to be judged. What could not be verified is that it currently runs. Anyone interested should confirm that the application responds, and ask for written data commitments before uploading customer material — and should treat the Web3 strand, with its token and crypto payments, as a separate question entirely.
