Aylook IDL PRO is the proprietary video analytics algorithm developed by Anteklab S.r.l., the Mantua-based manufacturer behind the Italian aylook video surveillance platform. It is presented as the successor to the company's first Intelligent Deep Learning engine, and it is sold as a per-camera licence rather than as a standalone application: the analysis runs on an aylook NVR, where it requires the dedicated IDL PRO board, or on the customer's own server through the aylook Virtual range. GDPR overview
The implementation is concrete on the website side. The privacy notice is drafted as an Article 13 GDPR notice under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, lists the legal bases under Article 6(1)(a) and (f), cites Article 32 on security measures, and sets out the data subject rights of Articles 15 to 22 plus withdrawal of consent under Article 7(3). Rights are exercised by post to Anteklab S.r.l. or by email to aylook@antek.it with "Privacy" as the subject, and complaints go to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Rome. Personal data are stated to be held on servers located inside the European Union. On the product side, the Virtual range advertises scheduled ageing of recorded images, automatic password expiry, per-profile privileges and user logs kept up to twelve months. No DPO and no Article 27 representative are named, and no certification is claimed.
Who owns the data?
Anteklab S.r.l. is named as the data controller in the site's Article 13 GDPR notice, with its registered office in Porto Mantovano and the address aylook@antek.it for privacy matters. Personal data may be shared with the controller's own staff and collaborators, with processors appointed in writing, with the company holding the individual landing page, and with judicial or administrative authorities on request. The notice states plainly that personal data are never disseminated to an undetermined audience. Nothing in the published documents addresses ownership of the video footage recorded by a customer's installation: the policy covers the company's web services, and Anteklab publishes no terms and conditions that would settle the question.
Reuse rights
The site publishes no terms and conditions, so there is no contractual text saying what an end customer may or may not do with the data produced by the system. The privacy notice covers only web-service data and declares two purposes: answering enquiries sent through the contact form, on the controller's legitimate interest, and marketing and advertising, which require separate consent. Browsing data such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, response codes and operating system details are used for traffic statistics and service monitoring. On the product side, aylook states that the IDL PRO algorithm is customised per scene and retrained weekly on thousands of real video files, without saying whose footage those files are or offering any documented way to exclude a customer's recordings.

Hosting summary
The privacy notice is the only statement on hosting: personal data are kept in paper archives and on servers located inside the European Union, with website management and part of the processing carried out on Anteklab's own premises under the controller's supervision. No individual country, no hosting provider and no subprocessor is named; the notice says a list of appointed processors can be requested from the controller rather than publishing one. The jurisdiction is therefore Italian, with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali as supervisory authority. For completeness, a network check carried out on 26 August 2026 resolved the aylook.com domain to an Italian address operated by MYNET S.R.L. in Milan, but that is an observation rather than a vendor statement. Nothing in the published documents describes where the video recordings produced by a customer's installation are stored: in practice they remain on the aylook NVR or on the customer's own server, which the privacy notice does not cover.
