Creasquare
Creasquare is an all-in-one social media content platform combining a template-based design studio, an AI caption writer and a multi-network scheduler for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube, aimed at businesses, agencies and independent creators.
What is Creasquare?
Creasquare is a social media content platform published by CREASQUARE SAS, a French company based in Boulogne-Billancourt whose team describes itself as fully remote. The product runs entirely in the browser at app.creasquare.io and gathers under one subscription three jobs usually split across three tools: designing the visual, writing the caption, and getting the post out.
The Creative Studio is the design half. It opens on more than 100,000 templates, one million royalty-free images and ten thousand stock videos, to which you add shapes, stickers, icons, badges, gradients, blurs, animations and licensed audio tracks. The practical touches carry most of the weight: AI background removal, one-click resizing to every network format, video trimming, layers, a sticker maker, and a brand kit holding your logos, colours and fonts.
The AI content writer is the writing half. It produces captions, hashtags, LinkedIn posts, Instagram captions, tweets and threads, TikTok scripts and hooks, YouTube intros and shorts, plus advertising copy for LinkedIn, Facebook, Google and Amazon. Rewriting tools shorten, rephrase, expand sentences, draft paragraphs, write calls to action, extract keywords and generate product descriptions. Tone and creativity level are adjustable, more than 27 templates are offered, over 25 output languages are advertised, and results are saved as reusable projects. Word allowances are metered by plan, from 500 on the free tier to 25,000 on Team.
Scheduling and the content calendar close the loop. Posts go out in batches to Facebook pages and groups, Instagram business and creator accounts, TikTok, LinkedIn pages and personal profiles, and YouTube channels, with first comments, carousels, Reels, video thumbnails and per-network previews. The calendar shows planned posts colour-coded by platform, handles time zones, and supports drafts, workspaces and invited collaborators.
Two modules remain promised rather than delivered: analytics and audience relationship management both carry a coming soon label, and Twitter support is announced the same way. The company claims more than 10,000 businesses as users and displays G2, Capterra, GetApp and AppSumo badges.

When to use Creasquare / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Creasquare is the right fit.
When to use Creasquare
- Small and mid-sized businesses that publish on several networks and want design, copywriting and scheduling under one subscription
- Marketing agencies and consultants juggling client accounts, thanks to workspaces and up to twenty connected profiles on the Team plan
- Independent creators and influencers with no design background, who can start from the library of more than 100,000 templates
- Entrepreneurs and solo founders who need months of captions generated in minutes rather than written by hand
- In-house social media managers who need a shared calendar with weekly and monthly views, time zones and drafts
When not to use Creasquare
- Developers or teams wanting to automate publishing programmatically: there is no public API and no developer documentation
- Anyone who needs to publish from a phone: no iOS or Android application is referenced anywhere on the site
- Teams whose reporting depends on analytics, since the analytics module is still advertised as coming soon
- Brands whose strategy relies on Instagram or Facebook Stories, which the pricing FAQ says are not yet supported
- Individuals under 18, since the terms restrict the service to professional use by adults
How to use Creasquare
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Open app.creasquare.io/register and start a free account or a free trial; no credit card is asked for at this stage
- Fill in the sign-up form: first and last name, email, role, optional organisation and a password, then accept the terms and the privacy policy
- Connect your social accounts, from three profiles on the free plan up to twenty on Team
- Build your brand kit with your logos, colour palette and fonts so every design stays consistent
- Create a visual in the Creative Studio, starting from a template or from a blank canvas
- Use automatic resizing to produce the right format for each network in one click
- Generate the caption and the hashtags with the AI content writer, adjusting tone and creativity level
- Preview the post as it will appear on each platform, and save it as a draft if it is not ready
- Schedule it from the scheduler or straight from the calendar, at the date and time you choose
- Let publication run automatically, bearing in mind that TikTok relies on notification publishing
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Design, AI copywriting and publishing bundled into one subscription instead of three separate tools
- A permanent free plan on top of the 14-day trial, with unlimited scheduled posts even at the free tier
- A genuinely large asset library: more than 100,000 templates, one million images and ten thousand videos
- Brand kit and one-click resizing make repurposing the same visual across networks fast
- Annual billing cuts up to 30% off, and non-profits are offered a discount on request
- A French publisher with an explicit GDPR framework: CNIL named, a DPA folded into the terms, standard contractual clauses for transfers
- No credit card needed to start, with plan changes and cancellation available at any time
Cons
- Analytics, audience relationship management and Twitter support have all been advertised as coming soon
- The pricing page contradicts itself: the Professional plan is listed at 10,000 AI words on the plan card and 5,000 in the comparison table
- AI word add-ons are priced in euros while the terms state that all fees are in US dollars
- No public API, no developer documentation and no mobile application
- The 25+ supported languages are advertised but never listed, and the help-centre article meant to list them is unreachable
- No refunds: cancelling still leaves the billing cycle in progress payable in full
- No published retention periods and no security certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Creasquare handles your data.
GDPR overview
GDPR is addressed head-on rather than in passing. The privacy policy, effective 23 May 2022 and last updated 4 April 2023, carries a dedicated section on GDPR compliance and sets out the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent, naming the French supervisory authority CNIL as the body to complain to. Rights are exercised by email at hello@creasquare.io. Article 16 of the terms states that accepting them also means accepting Creasquare's data processing agreement, although the link to that document is not active on the page. Transfers outside the EEA are said to rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules. No data protection officer is named, and no Article 27 representative is designated, which is consistent with a company established in France.
Who owns the data?
The terms are explicit: you keep the intellectual property rights over everything you upload, and Creasquare states it will never claim ownership of your content. In exchange, you grant the company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable and worldwide licence to use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly display, translate or create derivative works from that content. A separate clause also lets Creasquare display your name and logo on its own website for promotional purposes while you remain a customer. Under the GDPR, the company positions itself as a data processor for its clients' data and as a data controller for the personal data it collects on its own account.
Reuse rights
You stay free to reuse your own content wherever you like: nothing in the terms restricts what you publish elsewhere, and Creasquare presents itself as a passive conduit that neither reviews nor controls what you post. What you cannot reuse is the platform itself. The licence granted to you covers downloading one copy of the site materials for personal, non-commercial and transitory use; copying, modifying, decompiling, reverse-engineering, mirroring or transferring them is prohibited, and that licence terminates automatically if you breach the terms. Templates, stock images, stock videos and licensed audio come partly from third parties such as Vista Create, and the terms require you to comply with those providers' own conditions, so what you produce with their assets is also governed by their rules rather than by Creasquare alone.

Hosting summary
Creasquare's privacy policy states that personal information is stored or processed in the United States, France and Ireland, or anywhere else the company, its partners, affiliates and third-party providers keep facilities. No single hosting jurisdiction is therefore guaranteed. Transfers out of the European Economic Area are said to rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, binding corporate rules or other legally accepted means. The named third parties that may process data include Google Analytics, Google Services, Google Adsense, MailChimp, Intercom, PayPal, Stripe, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube API Services, LinkedIn, Vista Create and Writesonic. As a network measurement rather than a company statement, the marketing site resolved on 11 August 2026 to 146.59.209.152, an OVH address in Dunkirk, France; nothing indicates where the application data behind app.creasquare.io actually lives. No hosting certification and no encryption commitment are published.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Creasquare.
- The publisher's legal status is unclear: the French business register lists CREASQUARE as ceased since 31 October 2024 while the service keeps running, which raises questions about support, billing continuity and data custody
- The content licence you grant is unusually broad — worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable and extending to derivative works — and your name and logo may be displayed on Creasquare's own site
- Cancelling never refunds the billing cycle in progress, so mistiming a departure costs a full period
- Publishing through a third party adds a dependency: an API change at Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn can quietly break scheduled posts, as the Stories limitation already shows
- AI-generated captions are described as 100% authentic, yet nothing documents fact-checking, plagiarism testing or bias controls, so published copy still needs a human read
- Leaning on templates and generated captions tends to flatten a brand voice: the tool makes volume easy and distinctiveness harder
- Nothing states whether customer content is used to train AI models, and no opt-out is documented, even though a third-party writing engine is involved
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Very low. Creasquare is pure SaaS and the terms confirm there is nothing to download or install. Sign-up takes one form and no credit card, and every product page repeats the same claim of being easy to use. The only technical step is connecting your social accounts, which requires the right account types: Instagram business or creator profiles, Facebook pages, TikTok business or creator accounts. Teams should also plan a little time to build the brand kit and organise workspaces. No design or development skill is expected.

Should you pick Creasquare?
Creasquare makes a coherent promise: stop paying for a design tool, an AI writer and a scheduler separately, and run the whole social media production line from one browser tab. On the evidence of its own pages, that promise largely holds. The Creative Studio is well stocked, the AI writer covers the formats a social team actually publishes, the scheduler reaches the five main networks, and a permanent free plan lets anyone test the workflow before paying 24.90 USD a month for the Basic tier.
The reservations are just as visible. Analytics, audience relationship management and Twitter support have carried a coming soon label for a long time, which sits awkwardly with analytics rows already priced into the paid plans. The pricing page contradicts itself on the Professional word allowance, quotes its AI add-ons in euros while the terms insist all fees are in US dollars, and marks Instagram Stories as included while its own FAQ says they are not supported. The legal documents have not been revised since 2022 and 2023, no retention period is published, and no security certification is claimed.
One point deserves separate attention and human verification before any commercial commitment: the French public business register lists CREASQUARE (SIREN 908318504) as ceased since 31 October 2024, while the website and the application both answer normally in August 2026 and the footer still reads 2025. Nothing on the site acknowledges this.
For a small team or a freelance creator after speed and breadth rather than measurement, Creasquare remains a reasonable and affordable option, best tried through the free plan. For anyone who needs analytics, an API, mobile publishing or contractual certainty, it is worth waiting for clarification.
