Overview

What is Devaito?

Devaito is a French SaaS platform that builds and then runs an online business from a conversation. You describe your activity in plain language or by voice, and the system generates a working site: pages, product catalogue, categories, cart, secure checkout, SEO and a blog, assembled live in front of you.

What separates it from a conventional website builder is what happens once the store exists. Devaito presents itself as an AI cofounder and folds the surrounding work into the same subscription: Meta and Google campaigns written and launched by AI, daily social posts and carousels for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X, abandoned-cart and win-back emails, a two-week growth plan grounded in the store's own numbers, and native iOS and Android apps generated from the same catalogue. The pricing page frames this as twenty specialised agents, from a full-stack developer to an SEO agent, a growth hacker and a CRM strategist; the navigation lists eleven more, including an AI receptionist that answers calls and an AI booking assistant.

Seven verticals arrive preconfigured - online store, restaurant, hotel and guesthouse, car rental, beauty and wellness, digital products, services and portfolio - each with the machinery that trade needs: table reservations, seasonal room rates, fleet availability, bookable treatments, deposits. Live example storefronts run on devaito.site subdomains.

Every plan carries the same base: custom domain and free SSL, smart SEO, coupons, cart recovery, a merchant-facing affiliate programme, CJ dropshipping import, print-on-demand, B2B prospecting, a voice agent, a multilingual chatbot, 3D and AR product views, analytics, team roles, point of sale, WhatsApp agents and push notifications. Devaito advertises 0% transaction fees on every tier.

The platform is open to developers too. A REST API and a version 2.0 developer guide support third-party apps sold through the Devaito App Store, and every store it generates exposes a Model Context Protocol server, so an external assistant can read products, orders and analytics, or place cash-on-delivery orders and bookings. Usage is metered in AI credits, and the admin interface exists in nine languages.

  • Draft and schedule platform-native posts, carousels and UGC-style product videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X
  • Publish native iOS and Android apps of the store, push notifications included

  • Translate the entire storefront into more than a hundred languages and keep every version in sync
  • Answer email, support tickets and social messages, and handle phone calls, through AI agents

When to use Devaito / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Devaito is the right fit.

When to use Devaito

  • Solo founders and very small businesses launching a first online store without a developer or an agency
  • Local service businesses that live on bookings - restaurants, guesthouses, car rental fleets, beauty salons
  • Dropshippers and resellers who want CJ imports and a Shopify design migration inside the same subscription
  • Creators selling courses, ebooks and downloads who need landing pages, email funnels and an affiliate scheme
  • Merchants selling across borders who need the whole storefront translated and kept in sync

When not to use Devaito

  • Large catalogues and mature app ecosystems - Devaito itself concedes that ground to Shopify
  • Organisations whose procurement requires ISO 27001 or SOC 2, which the security policy states Devaito does not hold
  • Teams that need a contractual uptime commitment, since no SLA applies unless it is expressly offered with the plan
  • Engineering teams wanting to pin a specific AI model, which the terms explicitly refuse to guarantee
  • Anyone under 16, and users located in countries under comprehensive EU, US, UK or UN sanctions

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • An unusually wide scope for one subscription - builder, ads, social, email, mobile app, bookings, point of sale and accounting
  • 0% transaction fees on every plan, leaving only the payment provider's own fees
  • A 7-day trial with two million AI credits and no credit card
  • European hosting on Hetzner in Germany and Finland, under a French publisher
  • Legal documentation that is dated, sectioned, and names every subprocessor with its country and transfer mechanism
  • A clear training stance: never on paid plans, and on free plans only after explicit, revocable consent
  • Genuine openness to developers: REST API, developer guide, marketplaces and an MCP server on every generated store

Cons

  • Two price grids are published at once, and the quotas attached to the same plan differ between them
  • The contact page advertises SOC 2 compliance that the company's own security policy explicitly denies
  • Audience figures contradict each other, from 950+ sites built on one page to 50K+ in the footer of another
  • The features page still carries template filler text, and the affiliate dashboard on display is a mock-up
  • No service level agreement applies unless one is expressly offered with your plan
  • No AI model is guaranteed: providers and models may change at any time
  • Included AI credits do not roll over, and video and 3D generation are billed on top of the plan

Pricing & Plans

Devaito operates on a freemium model. Its terms describe a free plan that may be used for as long as the user wishes and that never converts into a paid subscription on its own, alongside a seven-day trial of the paid tiers which includes two million AI credits and requires no payment card. The cheapest paid entry point is USD 10.00 per month on annual billing, invoiced as USD 120.00 per year; the same tier is offered at USD 13.99 per month on a month-to-month commitment. All fees are stated in US dollars. Devaito levies no transaction fee of its own, while video and 3D generation are billed per use rather than drawn from the monthly credit allowance.

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Devaito handles your data.

GDPR overview

Implementation is concrete and unusually well documented. Devaito SAS is established in France and publishes a six-part legal hub last revised on 29 April 2026: privacy policy, cookie policy, a Data Processing Addendum written to Article 28(3), a named subprocessor table, the statutory legal notice and a security policy. Legal bases are stated purpose by purpose, with consent used for AI training and for marketing. Transfers outside the EEA rely on adequacy decisions, the 2021/914 Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, backed by transfer-impact assessments. Subprocessor changes are notified thirty days ahead, personal data breaches within seventy-two hours, and an audit is allowed once a year. The CNIL is named as supervisory authority. No data protection officer and no Article 27 representative are designated - the latter is not required of a French controller.

Who owns the data?

Your content stays yours. Section 5.1 of the terms leaves ownership of User Content with you, and section 6.4 gives you the AI outputs generated from your prompts, subject to intellectual-property law and the rights of the underlying model providers. Devaito takes only a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process inputs and outputs where that is needed to run the service, keep it safe and meet legal obligations. Roles are split: Devaito is controller for your own account data, and your processor for the personal data of the shoppers who visit the store you build, a relationship governed by its Data Processing Addendum.

Reuse rights

You can reuse what the platform produces without asking. Ownership of outputs sits with you under section 6.4, so store copy, product pages, visuals and generated apps can be published, adapted or moved elsewhere, subject only to intellectual-property law and any rights held by the underlying model providers. The licence you grant Devaito runs the other way and is narrow: processing inputs and outputs to deliver the service, secure it and satisfy legal obligations. On paid plans nothing you submit trains Devaito's own models, which rely only on anonymised usage signals; on free plans training happens solely if you switch on a separate, granular consent that you can withdraw at any time. Third-party model providers are contractually barred from training on your content unless you opt in separately. Your data can be exported with the platform's own tools at any point.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Retention is set out period by period. Account data is kept for the life of the account plus up to 90 days after closure. Billing and tax records run to ten years, identity-verification records to five, support cases to five, marketing data to three years from the last interaction, server logs to twelve months, and analytics or advertising cookies to a maximum of thirteen months. AI prompts and outputs are stored for as long as the account exists unless you delete them sooner. Deleting your account removes your content from active systems within 90 days, and the same 90-day window applies after a contract ends, with backups purged on their normal rotation. Google tokens are erased immediately on disconnection. Beyond these periods data is deleted or anonymised, with longer retention only where the law requires it.

Hosting summary

Devaito SAS is established in France and its data sits primarily in the European Union. Hetzner Online GmbH provides the cloud infrastructure and hosting from Germany and Finland, with processing declared as taking place in the EU, and Hetzner is also named as the site's hosting provider in the statutory legal notice. Around that core, the published subprocessor table names Cloudflare for CDN, DNS, bot protection and object storage across a global edge in the EU and the United States; Brevo in France for email; Apify in the Czech Republic for prospecting data; Stripe and PayPal in the EU and the United States, CMI in Morocco and SSLCommerz in Bangladesh for payments; and Anthropic, Google, LiveKit and Reddit in the United States, with Moonshot AI in China, for AI and advertising. Transfers outside the EEA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, with supplementary measures for China. Data centres are stated to meet ISO 27001 or an equivalent standard, with TLS 1.2 or higher in transit and encryption at rest for sensitive data. The domain's public IP resolves to a Cloudflare anycast node and says nothing about where data actually lives.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Devaito.

  • Two different price grids are live at once, and the quotas listed for the same plan differ between the homepage and the pricing page - check what you are actually buying
  • The contact page claims SOC 2 compliance that the company's own security policy explicitly denies, so treat certification claims made on marketing pages with caution
  • Handing the store, the ads, the emails and the customer replies to one autonomous system concentrates a great deal of business risk in a single vendor, and makes leaving harder the longer you stay
  • Letting AI write every post, ad and reply gradually erodes an operator's own feel for their customers; outputs are probabilistic and the terms make you solely responsible for reviewing them before publication
  • AI outputs may resemble those generated for other merchants and may not be protectable by copyright, which matters to anyone building a distinctive brand
  • Prompts and generated content are stored for as long as the account exists, and some AI subprocessors process outside the EU, including in the United States and China
  • Credits do not roll over and video and 3D generation are billed per use, so an enthusiastic month can cost noticeably more than the headline plan price
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low. The platform is genuinely no-code: you describe the business in one sentence, typed or spoken, and the store is generated without a brief or a configuration form. Signing up takes seconds by email, Google or Facebook, and no card is required. Publishing is a single click, domains connect with step-by-step guidance and SSL is automatic; migration from Shopify is advertised as free and assisted. Refinement happens by chat, by voice or in a drag-and-drop editor. Technical users can go deeper through the HTML and CSS editor, the REST API, or a per-store MCP token.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What exactly does Devaito build?
A complete website or online store - pages, products, categories, cart, secure checkout and SEO - generated from a description you type or speak. It also produces a blog, forms, a native mobile app of the store and, on the relevant plans, a booking system and a connected point of sale.
Do I need coding or design skills?
No. The platform is entirely no-code: you describe the business in plain language or by voice, then refine by chat, by voice or with a drag-and-drop editor. An HTML and CSS editor and a REST API are there if you want to go further, but nothing obliges you to touch them.
How much does it cost, and is there a free option?
The terms describe a freemium model with a free plan you can keep indefinitely. Paid tiers start at USD 10.00 per month on annual billing, or USD 13.99 month-to-month, and every plan opens with a seven-day trial that includes two million AI credits and needs no card.
Does Devaito take a cut of my sales?
No. The platform advertises 0% transaction fees on all plans. You still pay the standard fees of whichever payment provider you connect - Stripe, PayPal, Square and others - which the site puts at roughly 2.9% to 3.5% per transaction.
Is my data used to train AI models?
On paid plans, no: Devaito states it does not train its own models on your inputs or outputs, and uses only anonymised usage signals such as latency and error rates. On free plans, training happens only if you give explicit, granular consent in your account settings, which you may withdraw at any time. Third-party model providers are contractually barred from training on your content unless you opt in separately.
Where is my data hosted?
The core infrastructure is Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany and Finland, with processing declared as taking place in the EU, and Hetzner is also named as the site's hosting provider. Other named subprocessors process in the United States, China, Morocco, Bangladesh and the Czech Republic under Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Can I sell in several languages?
Yes. One click translates the whole storefront - pages, products and checkout - and Devaito keeps every version in sync. The site advertises more than a hundred languages, with 26 unlocked on the Premium tier. The admin interface itself exists in nine languages.
Is there an API for developers?
Yes. A REST API and a version 2.0 developer guide are published at developers.devaito.com, and third-party apps can be sold through the Devaito App Store. Every store the platform generates also exposes a Model Context Protocol server, so an external AI assistant can read products, orders and analytics.
What is the minimum age to use it?
Sixteen, or the higher digital-consent age of your jurisdiction. The terms also exclude anyone located in, organised under the laws of, or a national or resident of a country under comprehensive EU, US, UK or UN sanctions.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes, from the dashboard, with no cancellation fee and no long-term commitment; access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. Consumers established in the EU or EEA also hold a statutory fourteen-day right of withdrawal.
Conclusion

Should you pick Devaito?

Devaito attacks a real problem: the small merchant who needs a store, a marketing stack and a mobile app but has neither a developer nor an agency budget. Its answer is to fold all of it into a single subscription driven by conversation, and the breadth on offer is genuinely unusual - storefront, Meta and Google advertising, social publishing, email flows, bookings, point of sale, translation into more than a hundred languages, invoicing and double-entry accounting, with no transaction fee of its own.

The legal groundwork is stronger than the category average. Devaito SAS publishes a dated six-part legal hub, names every subprocessor with its country and transfer mechanism, commits to never training on paying customers' content, and states plainly in its own security policy that it holds neither ISO 27001 nor SOC 2. That last sentence is worth more than most trust pages.

The marketing has not kept pace with it. The contact page still claims the SOC 2 compliance the security policy denies; audience figures swing from 950+ sites built to 50K+ depending on which page you read; two price grids coexist with different quotas for the same tier; the features page carries leftover template filler and the affiliate dashboard on display is a mock-up. None of this is fatal, but it is the signature of a young company - the domain was registered in June 2024 - moving faster than its own copy.

Judged on substance, Devaito suits solo founders, local service businesses and small merchants who want one bill instead of twelve and who value European hosting. It suits far less those with large catalogues, procurement checklists demanding certification, or a need for a contractual uptime commitment. Read the pricing page rather than the homepage before subscribing, and confirm the quotas of the tier you choose.
