Cubeo AI
Cubeo AI is a no-code platform for building AI agents and multi-agent AI Teams trained on your own PDFs, videos, audio and websites, aimed at Sales, Marketing, HR and Customer Service teams that have no developer on hand.
What is Cubeo AI?
Cubeo AI is a no-code software-as-a-service platform for building AI agents, published by Cubeo Innovation SRL in Bucharest, Romania. It rests on three building blocks: individual assistants, AI Teams that coordinate several agents on a single mission, and a catalogue of tools and integrations that let those agents act rather than merely talk.
An agent is assembled from four parts documented by the publisher: instructions, knowledge bases, tools and integrations. Knowledge bases accept PDFs, DocX files, e-books, MP3 audio, video, YouTube links, websites, blogs and question-and-answer pairs, which the platform splits into chunks. Three pre-built agents are showcased: Researcher, which produces formatted research reports, Blog Writer for SEO articles, and HR Manager for sourcing and screening candidates.
Model choice is left to the user. The pricing page lists OpenAI GPT-4 Turbo, GPT-4o and GPT-4o mini, Anthropic Claude 3 Haiku, 3 Sonnet, 3.5 Sonnet and 3 Opus, Azure GPT-4, GPT-4o and GPT-3.5, Google Gemini 1.5 Flash and 1.5 Pro, and Cohere Command R and Command R+; the credit calculator adds Meta Llama 3.1 and 3.2 and Gemini 2.0 Flash.
Seventeen families of native tools are documented, among them HubSpot, sub-agents, Zapier and Make webhooks, a Web Browser, a Web Scraper, Elasticsearch, LinkedIn profile, people and company search, a generic API tool, Knowledge Base Search, Batch Process and Ask User Questions. Model Context Protocol servers, including Tavily and Context7, extend that catalogue. Integrations are connected at team level, so every agent on the team inherits them.
Agents ship as an embeddable widget on unlimited sites or through a shareable public link, the Powered By Cubeo mention disappearing on paid plans. Proactive messages can be triggered by visitor actions, and human approval can be required before a tool executes.
The site organises use cases into four families, Sales, Marketing, HR and Recruiting, and Customer Service, with twelve scenarios each. Cubeo also sells a done-for-you build in seven steps and runs a partner programme for agencies. ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 are claimed, with ISO 27001:2022 certified and audited annually. Unlimited team members are included on every plan, the free one included.
What it does
- Build an AI agent without code, from instructions written in plain language
- Train it on PDFs, DocX files, e-books, audio, video, YouTube links, websites and question-and-answer pairs
- Assemble several specialised agents into an AI Team coordinated by a supervisor
- Plug in tools: HubSpot, LinkedIn profile, people and company search, Web Browser, Web Scraper, Elasticsearch, Zapier, Make, your own API and MCP servers
- Publish the agent as a widget on an unlimited number of websites, or share it through a public link
- Trigger proactive messages based on what the visitor does, and require human approval before a tool runs
- Process a batch of items in a single pass, and trace any answer back to its source page or exact timestamp
When to use Cubeo AI / When not to
A quick filter to help you decide if Cubeo AI is the right fit.
When to use Cubeo AI
- Sales, marketing, HR and customer support teams that want to automate routine work without a developer on hand
- Small and mid-sized companies and solopreneurs looking to offload repetitive, document-heavy tasks
- Agencies and consultants who deploy agents for their clients and can join the partner programme
- Content and research teams that need several specialised agents to collaborate on one mission, as in the GPTify testimonial where an AI Team researches, writes and edits newsletters
- European organisations that care about customer data being stored in the EEA and about ISO 27001 certification
When not to use Cubeo AI
- Anyone who needs a mobile app: no iOS or Android application is published
- Teams that must work in a language other than English, since no list of interface or processing languages is published
- Organisations that require self-hosting or an on-premise deployment, neither of which is offered
- Buyers who need a contractual guarantee that their data is excluded from model training, or that nothing is processed in the United States: no opt-out is documented and conversations transit through third-party LLM providers, several of which process in the US
- Occasional users relying on the free plan, where assistants left unused for seven consecutive days are deleted automatically and the monthly allowance is limited to 100 credits, three assistants and one tool per agent
How to use Cubeo AI
A typical end-to-end flow, from setup to results.
- Create a free account on app.cubeo.ai; no credit card is required
- Create an agent and write its instructions in plain English
- Fill its knowledge base: upload files, paste a website or YouTube URL, add question-and-answer pairs
- Assign tools from the agent's Tools tab; the first use of a provider triggers the connection
- Manage connections at team level from Team then Integrations, and use Connect MCP server to add an MCP server
- Assemble several agents into an AI Team by linking them to one another
- Test the agent and check the sources behind its answers, jumping to the exact page or minute
- Publish it: paste the one-line script into your website source code to embed the widget, or share the public link
- Set proactive messages, and require Human-in-the-Loop approval wherever a tool must not run unattended
- Monitor usage from the Dashboard, watching MCP server synchronisation and the alert banner shown when a sync fails
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Permanent free plan with no credit card, and unlimited team members even at that level
- Subscription credits roll over from month to month and do not expire while the subscription is active
- Three public credit calculators, by use case, by model and by tool, make consumption readable before you buy; tools are charged only when actually used
- Wide model choice across OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure, Google and Cohere, with Meta models cited in the calculator
- EU publisher with a full DPA embedded in the terms and a contractual commitment to store customer data in the EEA
- ISO 27001:2022 certified with an annual independent audit, ISO 20000 also announced, and a named list of subprocessors published with each one's place of processing
- Detailed public product documentation and MCP support, which extends the tool catalogue to third-party or internal servers without waiting for a native integration; euro prices are public, with an annual discount worth two months
Cons
- No mobile application, on iOS or on Android
- No published list of interface or processing languages: the site and the documentation are English only
- Nothing is stated about whether customer data is used to train models, and no opt-out is documented
- Credit-based billing makes the real cost hard to predict: it depends on the model, the tools called and the volume, and can only be estimated in advance
- On the free plan, assistants left unused for seven consecutive days are deleted automatically, and free-plan credits expire every month
- The documentation subdomain docs.cubeo.ai was serving an expired TLS certificate on 4 September 2026, and the API Documentation page renders nothing without JavaScript; the Documentation link in the main menu points there
- The terms favour the publisher: no refund if it suspends or terminates, automatic deactivation at the end of the licence period with loss of access to stored information, Romanian law and exclusive jurisdiction of Romanian courts
Pricing & Plans
Cubeo AI follows a freemium model. A permanent Free plan is available at no cost and without a credit card, and includes 100 credits per month, three AI Assistants, unlimited team members and seven days of conversation retention. Paid subscriptions start at EUR 17.00 per month with the Starter plan, followed by Plus at EUR 47.00 per month and Premium at EUR 97.00 per month. A Pay As You Go pack of 2,000 non-expiring credits is sold at EUR 54.00. Consumption is metered in credits whose rate depends on the model, the tools used and the training volume; subscription credits are reloaded on the first day of each calendar month and roll over while the subscription is active, whereas free-plan credits expire monthly.

Data, GDPR & hosting
A consolidated view of how Cubeo AI handles your data.
GDPR overview
The privacy policy, last updated 19 March 2025, is based on Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and names the controller: CUBEO INNOVATION SRL, J40/9826/2021, Bucharest, Romania, contact@cubeo.ai. A full data processing agreement is embedded in the terms, under Romanian law; it appoints George Calcea as Data Protection Officer, while an alternative clause in the same text states no DPO is required. Rights are listed (consent withdrawal, objection, access, rectification, restriction, erasure, portability, complaint), answered free of charge within one month. Non-EU transfers rely on standard contractual clauses and EDPB supplementary measures. Breaches are notified without undue delay and within 72 hours, and within 24 hours to the customer under the DPA. The ISMS is ISO 27001:2022 certified and audited annually; ISO 20000 is claimed on the home page. Do Not Track is not supported. No Article 27 representative applies: the publisher is established in the EU.
Who owns the data?
The terms state that the information collected, received or synthesised by the product is your property, the publisher only performing operations on it, and disclaim any liability for that information or for the results produced. The embedded DPA makes the customer the data controller and Cubeo Innovation SRL the processor, acting on the customer's instructions. Cubeo also states that it does not access, store or use data held in the services you connect, such as your database, HubSpot or your own API. The platform itself stays Cubeo's intellectual property: it is licensed, not sold, and during the licence the publisher may display its logo on your website.
Reuse rights
The terms limit the use of the data you provide (name, email address, password) to performing the contract, and state that your data and the results obtained with the product will be used only on the basis of your consent. Because the platform runs on third-party models, accepting the terms means accepting that your data may be sent to providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Fireworks AI and Azure AI so the service can work. The privacy policy lists the site-level purposes: analytics, contact and message handling, payments, external content, landing pages, geolocation, hosting, remarketing and behavioural targeting, tag management, user database management and comments. Under the DPA, processing is limited to what the service and the customer's instructions require. On the decisive question the documents are silent: nowhere does Cubeo say that customer data is, or is not, used to train models, and no opt-out is described. As controller of your own content you may reuse the outputs without asking permission; the publisher claims no licence over them.

Hosting summary
The DPA embedded in the terms commits Cubeo to storing customer data in the European Economic Area unless the customer gives prior written consent, and states that customer data cannot be accessed from outside the EEA without that consent. The privacy policy names each subprocessor together with its place of processing. Infrastructure hosting on Azure Cloud, the Zilliz Cloud vector database, Azure Logs system logs and Azure AI are processed in the European Union; PostHog is processed in the EU and Stripe in Ireland. A second group processes in the United States: OpenAI, Anthropic, Fireworks AI, Cohere AI, Langsmith, Sentry, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, YouTube, HubSpot, Salesforce, Calendly and WordPress.com (Automattic). Transfers outside the EU rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission together with the supplementary measures recommended by the EDPB. No hosting country is named for customer data: the documents reason in regions rather than jurisdictions. The public marketing site itself is served from 51.158.179.160, AS12876 Scaleway SAS, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, while the publisher is established in Romania.
Things to keep in mind
Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Cubeo AI.
- The real cost is driven by credits and depends on the model chosen, the tools called and the volume processed: price a realistic month with the public calculators before committing, because the bill is only ever an estimate beforehand
- On the free plan, assistants left unused for seven consecutive days are deleted automatically and free-plan credits expire monthly, unlike subscription credits which roll over
- The terms provide no refund if the publisher suspends or terminates the service, and the product is deactivated at the end of the licence period, after which access to stored information, prior results and obtained services is lost: export what matters before that date
- Conversations are sent to third-party language model providers, several of which process in the United States, and no option to exclude your data from model training is documented anywhere
- The contract is governed by Romanian law with exclusive jurisdiction of Romanian courts, the publisher reserves the right to close accounts related to adult content, gambling or politics, and the DPA carries two contradictory clauses on the Data Protection Officer: worth clarifying before signing
- Delegating research, writing and customer answers to agents can quietly replace the team's own reading and judgement; the source-tracing feature only protects you if someone actually opens the sources, and unverified agent output sent to a client remains your responsibility
- The performance figures displayed, such as seven-fold time reductions or a 53% conversion uplift, come from unaudited customer testimonials, and the documentation subdomain was serving an expired TLS certificate on 4 September 2026, which triggers a browser security warning from the main menu
Setup & Integrations
Technical difficulty
Low. Cubeo AI is marketed as no-code and requires no machine-learning skills; the documentation tells newcomers that anyone familiar with Zapier, Make or N8N will feel at home. Signing up is free and needs no credit card. Building an agent means writing instructions in plain English, uploading knowledge sources and switching tools on; each integration is connected the first time a tool is used, and MCP servers from the team Integrations screen. The only genuinely technical step is pasting one line of script into a website's source code to embed the widget. A paid seven-step done-for-you build is available.

Should you pick Cubeo AI?
Cubeo AI is a generalist, no-code agent builder aimed at small and mid-sized companies and at sales, marketing, HR and support teams with no developer to spare. Its centre of gravity is the AI Team: several specialised assistants, each with its own instructions, knowledge bases and tools, working together on one mission and published as a website widget or a shared link. Around that sit seventeen documented families of native tools, Model Context Protocol support, and a wide choice of models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure, Google and Cohere.
Three things stand out. Pricing is documented in unusual detail: euro list prices, a permanent free plan, credits that roll over while the subscription runs, and three public calculators that let you estimate consumption by use case, by model or by tool before paying. The legal footing is European: a Romanian publisher, a full DPA embedded in the terms, a contractual commitment to store customer data in the EEA, a named list of subprocessors with each one's place of processing, and ISO 27001:2022 certification audited annually. And the product documentation, when reachable, is genuinely detailed.
The gaps are just as concrete. There is no mobile app and no published list of supported languages. Nothing is said about whether customer data trains models, and no opt-out is described, while conversations transit through providers that process in the United States. The documentation subdomain was serving an expired TLS certificate when this entry was compiled, so the main-menu Documentation link raises a browser warning. The terms sit firmly on the publisher's side: no refund on suspension or termination, deactivation and loss of stored information at the end of the licence, Romanian law and exclusive jurisdiction.
Try it on the free plan, price a realistic month with the calculators, and read the DPA before committing.
