Overview

What is EchoTik?

EchoTik is a third-party data platform built entirely around TikTok's commerce ecosystem. Rather than covering social media broadly, it concentrates on what actually sells on TikTok Shop: which products are gaining traction, which creators move volume, how competing storefronts perform, and what happens minute by minute inside a live selling room.

The product is organised around four entry points — product selection, creator discovery, competitor monitoring and live stream analysis. Each combines filterable libraries, leaderboards and detail pages. The publisher advertises 14 filtering dimensions and more than 60 metrics for product research, 17 dimensions and close to 100 metrics for creators, 12 dimensions and over 40 metrics for live streams, across 13 leaderboards. Headline volumes quoted on the homepage include over a billion creator records, 1.8 billion product records, and 22.2 million creators tracked, of which 1.7 million run a shop.

Live Monitor is the most distinctive module. It watches a live room from the cloud, records data every minute, automatically extracts the product list and the seller's spoken pitch, and estimates volume and GMV — removing the need to sit through a broadcast by hand. A browser extension for Chrome and SuperBrowser overlays the same metrics directly on TikTok.com and on the TikTok Shop Affiliate site.

An AI layer sits on top: a toolbox generating video scripts, titles, hashtags, optimised product titles and creator outreach emails, built on Volcano Engine's Doubao model, plus a conversational agent with ready-made prompts for market research, creator selection and comment analysis. For technical teams, a documented Data API covers creators, videos, live streams, products, shops, keywords, music, ads and trends, with real-time endpoints and historical archives reaching back up to 1,000 days.

The tool is published by ECHOSELL CORPORATION PTE. LTD., a Singapore company with subsidiaries in Beijing, Wuhan and Shenzhen. Its About page dates the company to August 2022 and the public launch to May 2023, and records that EchoTik became an official TikTok Partner Service provider in October 2024. Customer data is stored on AWS servers in the United States.

When to use EchoTik / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if EchoTik is the right fit.

When to use EchoTik

  • TikTok Shop sellers hunting for products that are climbing before the category saturates
  • Influencer agencies and MCNs that need to filter, shortlist and export creator rosters at scale
  • Brands wanting continuous visibility on competing storefronts, videos and live rooms
  • Live commerce operators who need minute-by-minute readings of traffic, products, sales and sales pitch
  • Developers and data teams that want programmatic access to TikTok commerce data through a documented API

When not to use EchoTik

  • Teams needing a multi-platform view: nothing here covers Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Amazon or Shopify
  • Anyone looking for a publishing or scheduling tool, since EchoTik observes but never posts
  • Advertisers wanting to buy and manage media, as the platform analyses ads without running them
  • Organisations with strict GDPR procurement requirements, given no DPA, subprocessor list or GDPR wording anywhere on the site
  • Users who need a mobile app or an interface in a language other than English or Simplified Chinese

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how EchoTik handles your data.

GDPR overview

No mention of the GDPR appears anywhere on the site: the acronym is absent from every page collected, privacy policy and terms included. What exists is a conditional rights clause — "Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to" access, rectify, erase, obtain a copy, restrict or object to processing, port data, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a statutory authority. Rights are exercised in writing to support@echosell.com, and a Grievance / Data Protection Officer is named at the Singapore head office. There is no Article 27 EU representative, no Data Processing Agreement, and no published subprocessor list. The privacy policy has not been revised since December 2022, may change without notice, and the terms place the contract under Chinese law.

Who owns the data?

Two distinct layers of ownership apply. Personal data — name, email and payment details — remains the user's, collected under the privacy policy and erasable on request. Market data is the opposite: the terms state that public market data independently collected, aggregated and analysed by EchoTik, along with industry insights and trend reports, is EchoTik's intellectual property, usable only within the granted scope and never resold, redistributed or commercially exploited. The platform, its code, algorithms, data models, documentation, trademarks and logos likewise belong to EchoTik. Conversely, users carry full legal responsibility for whatever they upload or generate on the service.

Reuse rights

Reuse is deliberately narrow. The service agreement grants a right to use platform data only within the authorised scope, and expressly forbids resale, secondary distribution and commercial exploitation of the market data, insights and trend reports EchoTik compiles. Reverse engineering, cracking, copying, altering and redistributing the platform are prohibited, as is any unauthorised commercial resale. In practice this means exports may inform internal decisions — product selection, creator shortlisting, competitor benchmarking — but may not be repackaged into a product or dataset sold onward. Anything the user uploads or generates stays their own responsibility. Data obtained through the API falls under the same restriction, and any use beyond it requires written permission.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
Personal data is kept for 90 days to 2 years after a user closes their account, and longer where record-keeping, legal obligations, enforcement of legal rights or fraud prevention require it. Residual anonymous information and aggregate data, which do not identify the user directly or indirectly, may be stored indefinitely. Deletion is obtained by writing to support@echosell.com under the right to erasure set out in the privacy policy, and the service agreement allows an account to be closed at any time. No automated deletion tool is described, and no shorter retention option is offered.

Hosting summary

EchoTik states, in the footer repeated on every page, that its data is stored on AWS servers in the United States. No AWS region is named, no regional alternative is offered, and the site publishes no trust or security page. No certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is claimed. The privacy policy promises reasonable security measures to prevent loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration, while explicitly declining to guarantee absolute security; the service agreement repeats that undertaking and disclaims liability for unforeseeable attacks and vulnerabilities. Note that the web server itself resolves to Frankfurt, Germany, on a Zenlayer network — a content delivery node, which says nothing about where customer data actually resides. The combination worth noting is jurisdictional: a Singapore-registered publisher, a Beijing operating entity in the terms, contract governed by Chinese law, and data physically held in the United States.

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting EchoTik.

  • The terms of service exist only in Chinese and place the contract under Chinese law, with jurisdiction at the operator's registered seat — a document most users will accept without being able to read it
  • Three different legal entity names appear across the site: a Singapore company in the privacy policy, a Beijing operator in the terms, and a third name in the Chinese footer
  • The privacy policy can be changed without prior notice, with the revised version taking effect 180 days after posting, so the terms you agreed to may quietly shift
  • Data is hosted in the United States while the declared operator is Asian, and this international transfer is documented nowhere
  • The service agreement excludes any warranty on data accuracy and continuity, yet the entire value of the tool is the accuracy of its numbers
  • Market data remains EchoTik's property: exports may guide internal decisions but cannot be resold or redistributed, and a contractual penalty floor of CNY 10,000 applies to breaches
  • Leaning on trend rankings can quietly replace judgement, pushing every user toward the same products and creators the leaderboard already shows
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low for everyday use. A free account opens the web dashboard immediately, with no shop connection and no TikTok login required to browse the data. The browser extension installs in one click on Chrome or SuperBrowser, and Live Monitor is configured in three steps without any technical skill. Only the API involves developers: create an account, generate a key in the dashboard, then call REST endpoints against public documentation with code samples. The publisher claims a first API call is possible within minutes.

Conclusion

Should you pick EchoTik?

EchoTik is a specialist, and it should be judged as one. Within its single perimeter — TikTok Shop — the depth is genuinely unusual: four connected modules, 13 leaderboards, dozens of filtering dimensions, and a live monitoring feature that records a selling room minute by minute and pulls out both the product list and the spoken pitch. Very few tools go that far on live commerce. The pricing follows the same logic, with a permanent free plan and a paid entry point at USD 9.90 per user per month on annual billing, well below what comparable data services usually charge. For a seller, an agency or a brand working seriously on TikTok, the ratio of depth to price is the main argument.

The reservations are not about the product but about its governance. The terms of service exist only in Chinese, place the contract under Chinese law, and name a Beijing operating entity, while the English privacy policy names a Singapore company and a third name appears in the Chinese footer. The GDPR is never mentioned, no Data Processing Agreement is offered, no subprocessor list is published, and the privacy policy has not been revised since December 2022 — yet data is stored in the United States. None of this is disqualifying, but any organisation with a formal vendor review should expect questions it cannot answer from the website alone.

The practical test is simple. If your work happens on TikTok and you need to see what sells, who sells it and how, EchoTik earns its place and the free plan costs nothing to try. If you need cross-platform coverage, documented European compliance, or a contract you can read in your own language, look elsewhere.
