Overview

What is Interactico?

Interactico is an audience interaction and engagement add-on built specifically for Google Meet. It gives the person running a call four live formats, polls, quizzes, open questions and ratings, with word clouds announced as a coming addition. The presenter installs the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace and signs in with a Google account; the tool then sits in the Activities panel of Meet, reached from the button at the bottom right of the call. Participants install nothing: “With Interactico, participants can join Google Meet activities via a shared link. No addon installation required!”

Answers appear as they arrive, so presenter and audience watch the same result build in real time. Every activity belongs to an event, and each event carries a Results tab showing response breakdowns, participation rates and visual representations of the answers. Quizzes take multiple-choice, true/false and timed questions, give instant feedback after each question and keep a live leaderboard. Open questions can be answered anonymously or under a name, at the participant's choice, and arrive in an organized feed. Polls are the most limited of the four formats: multiple choice only for now, with open-ended, rating-scale and ranking questions listed as future updates.

The event is also the billing unit. Each plan caps both the number of events and the number of interactions per event, and that is what separates Free, Pro and Plus. Interactico claims support for hundreds and even thousands of simultaneous participants, and its responsive interface runs on any device with a browser, phone, tablet or computer. The site puts forward team meetings, all-hands, events and conferences, webinars, classrooms, training and onboarding as the situations it is meant for.

The reach is deliberately narrow, and the publisher says so: “Interactico integrates directly with Google Meet, allowing you to engage your audience without leaving your call. Support for more platforms is coming soon.” The add-on is published by Zesterv FZE LLC, based in the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, in the United Arab Emirates.

What it does

  • Run a live poll during a Google Meet call
  • Host a scored quiz with timed questions and a live leaderboard
  • Collect open questions from the audience, anonymously if the participant prefers
  • Ask attendees to rate a session on a rating scale
  • Share an interaction by link or QR code so participants join without installing anything
  • Display incoming answers in real time to presenter and audience alike
  • Review response breakdowns and participation rates on the event dashboard after the session

When to use Interactico / When not to

A quick filter to help you decide if Interactico is the right fit.

When to use Interactico

  • Teams that already hold their meetings on Google Meet and want live participation without adding a second tool
  • Teachers and trainers running remote classes, workshops or training sessions
  • Organizers of webinars, all-hands and virtual conferences
  • HR teams handling onboarding and town halls and looking to measure engagement
  • Presenters who need an audience to take part with nothing to install and no account to create

When not to use Interactico

  • Teams working on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Webex, since Google Meet is the only supported platform
  • Anyone who must export results, as answers can be read on the event dashboard and nowhere else
  • Facilitators who need to moderate incoming audience questions, a function the tool does not have
  • Organizers who require anonymous polls: anonymity exists on open questions only, never on polls
  • Anyone looking for an API integration, scheduled interactions or a branded look, none of which is available

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Nothing to install and no sign-up on the participant side: a shared link is enough
  • Native integration in Google Meet, so the presenter never leaves the call

  • No export of results: answers can be read on the event dashboard and nowhere else
  • No moderation of audience questions
  • Polls cannot be made anonymous and accept multiple-choice questions only
  • No scheduling ahead of time, no visual customization, no pre-filled quiz templates, and saved events cannot be reused as new polls
  • Tight event quotas that structure the price: 3 events on Free, 10 on Pro, 25 on Plus
  • Very thin compliance documentation, with no GDPR mention, no DPA, no subprocessor list and no hosting location, and no API either

Trust & Privacy

Data, GDPR & hosting

A consolidated view of how Interactico handles your data.

GDPR overview

No GDPR implementation is documented. The terms GDPR, CCPA, COPPA and FERPA do not appear once across the thirteen pages collected. The privacy policy, dated 20 March 2025, names no legal basis for processing, lists no data subject rights such as access, rectification or portability, appoints no data protection officer and designates no EU representative under Article 27, although the publisher is established outside the European Union, in the United Arab Emirates. One right does exist in practice, offered as a courtesy rather than attached to any regulation: “If any user would like to request deletion of their data, they may contact us at privacy@interactico.com.” Nothing here amounts to a claim of compliance, and nothing amounts to a denial either. The subject is simply absent from the published material.

Who owns the data?

Nothing in the published documents claims ownership for the publisher over the content presenters create or the answers audiences submit. The privacy policy addresses one item explicitly, the user's email address: “We only collect and use your email address to authenticate your access to our Add-On. Your email address is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with third parties.” Zesterv FZE LLC also states: “We do not sell any user-generated data or personal information for commercial purposes.” Users are told they remain responsible for keeping their email address and the information they provide confidential, and may request deletion at privacy@interactico.com. No clause assigns intellectual property in polls, quizzes or responses either way: the question is simply left unanswered.

Reuse rights

The single purpose declared for the data collected is authenticating access to the add-on. The publisher adds that “Your data is only used to generate interactive content when you manually activate the app, and it does not run in the background”, and answers plainly on monitoring: “No, we do not monitor user data.” Data is neither sold nor shared with third parties. Because no clause restricts what a presenter may do with the answers collected during a session, reuse of one's own poll, quiz and Q&A results appears unrestricted, but the terms never say so in as many words, and no export feature exists to take that material out of the dashboard. Two subjects are absent from the published documents: training of models on customer data, which is never mentioned, and any opt-out that would follow from it.

Data retention & training

Retention summary
No retention period is given in figures. The privacy policy, dated 20 March 2025, states that data is kept “only as long as necessary to provide our services and enhance user experience” and that “Upon request, user data will be promptly deleted.” Deletion is requested by email to privacy@interactico.com. Neither “as long as necessary” nor “promptly” is defined, no purge deadline is set for data once an account is closed, and no anonymization process is described. In practice, a user can obtain deletion on request but cannot know in advance how long anything is kept if no request is made.

Hosting summary

No hosting jurisdiction is documented. Neither the privacy policy nor any other published page names a country, a region or a data center where Interactico stores the answers it collects, and no certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is claimed. What the publisher does describe is protection in transit and at rest: “All communications are transmitted via HTTPS, ensuring data encryption in transit. Data is also encrypted at rest for added security.” An incident response plan is mentioned, and security measures are said to follow industry standards, again without naming any framework. One technical observation sits outside the published documents: the domain is served behind Cloudflare (AS13335), which describes how the site is delivered and says nothing about where data is stored. An organization with a data residency requirement will find nothing in the published material to answer it, and will have to put the question to Zesterv FZE LLC directly.

Watch-outs

Things to keep in mind

Risks and trade-offs to weigh before adopting Interactico.

  • The home page presents word clouds as available while the pricing page marks them Coming Soon on the Pro plan
  • The Google Workspace Marketplace listing still announces quizzes as coming soon, although the site devotes a full product page to them
  • Ratings differ from one source to the next: 4.5 out of 5 on the site, 4.4 from 16 votes in the site's structured data, 4.36 from 25 voters on the Marketplace
  • A Help Center is mentioned in the FAQ, but no link leads to it and it does not appear in the sitemap
  • Refunds are limited to 48 hours after purchase, a short window for a subscription billed a full year in advance
  • The Free plan lists only Open Questions among its features, so check what it actually covers before relying on it
  • No GDPR mention anywhere, although the tool collects answers from audiences that may be European, and the publisher, in a United Arab Emirates free zone, designates no EU representative under Article 27
Setup

Setup & Integrations

Technical difficulty

Very low. The presenter installs Interactico from the Google Workspace Marketplace in a few clicks and signs in with a Google account; the site advertises setup in three minutes and requires no technical skill. On the participant side there is nothing to install at all, a link being enough. The only prerequisites are a Google account and the use of Google Meet. One caveat sits outside the tool itself: installing a Workspace add-on can depend on the domain administrator allowing it, so anyone on a managed account may need approval first.

Conclusion

Should you pick Interactico?

Interactico does one thing and does not pretend otherwise: it brings live polls, quizzes, open questions and ratings inside a Google Meet call. Its clearest strength sits on the audience side, where friction really is close to zero. A shared link is all a participant needs, with nothing to install and no account to create. For a team, a classroom or a webinar already running on Google Meet, that alone can be enough to make a session participative.

The scope, however, is still young. Results cannot be exported and live only on the event dashboard. Audience questions cannot be moderated. Polls cannot be made anonymous and accept multiple-choice questions only. Nothing can be scheduled in advance, nothing can be branded, and no API is published. Word clouds appear as available on the home page and as Coming Soon on the pricing page, a fair picture of a product still filling in its own roadmap.

Pricing deserves a careful read before purchase, because it is built on quotas rather than on features: three events on Free, ten on Pro at USD 100.00 per year, twenty-five on Plus at USD 200.00 per year, each with a cap on the number of interactions inside an event. All three plans are annual, no monthly rate exists, and refunds are limited to 48 hours after purchase.

Legal transparency is the weakest area. Across the pages published there is no mention of GDPR, no data processing agreement, no subprocessor list and no indication of where data is stored. The publisher, Zesterv FZE LLC, is established in a free zone in the United Arab Emirates and designates no EU representative. Any organization collecting audience answers under European rules will want those points settled first.
